Bazargan is the best math professor I've ever taken. I usually have a hard time understanding math but he made it clear. He gave points on tests if you turn in required homework. His tests were taken directly from the homework so they were not hard if you practiced.

He is an amazing teacher I sucked at math and was not interested in it at all until i took his class he really makes it easy and fun!

His tests are multiple choice, so they are not very hard to pass. I understood him a lot better then my previous calc2 professor, since he went step by step when solving problems.

First off, calculus 2 is not suppose to be easy. He was alot better than the other Cal II teacher I had. Got a 'D' with the first one. He explained the problems pretty good, test were multiple choice. A 'B' is attainable but I blew off the final and got a 'C'.

According to my opinion, he's very lovely and nice. His accent makes me laugh everytime i think about it. He's always willing to help ! He'll drop the lowest, final weighs the same w/ other tests. Usually drop 1 problem outof each test and sometimes give out take home test ^^ --> B will becomes A ! As a result got an A in his Calc 3 class.

Awesome math teacher with clear and precise instructions. Its too bad he doesn't lecture in a regular classroom anymore, because he's teaching Distance Education. Otherwise, I would definitely take his class again in more advanced mathematics.

Hi all, Mr. Bazargan is the best professor i have ever had for Math. I am really bad in Math but he goes very slow and teaches you step by step. He gives you lot of extra credit so it is kinda hard not to make a good grade in his class unless you really want to fail it. Test are exactly like the reviews. You will like your grade, i guaranty it.

If you need an instructor to carry you thru each step in math, pick Barzagan. He was a BIG HELP for me. Am so so poor in math but i did it because of him

I took him for Calculus 2, 3 and Differential Equation. He's a extremely nice and easy professor. His test is exactly like the homewok he gave you. If you do all the homework he gave you, you definitely pass with an A. However, his lecture is kind of sleepy b/c he talks a lot. I got A+ for all my classes and a perfect recommendation letter from him

His lesture are so boring, he will make to fall asleep in class. He does not work out to much problem in the class. However, he is always willing to help his students if you are looking for a good professor in hcc take fife. She is nice and the test review is the test rather than studying all hw probles in class.

To the person who posts comment before me: I took him for 3 math courses (Calculus). HE GIVES NO TEST REVIEW, BUT THE HOMEWORK IS GAVE YOU IS EXACTLY THE TEST. He's willing to help you every little problem. Extremely nice professor! If you study seriously, you will get an A for sure!

He is very nice, but what I don't like about him is that he does not allow graphing calculators on the tests.

I took his class online. Its alright, but he takes a while to respond to emails. The final exam is the only one that you have to take in person. I recommend this class if you are good at math

Took his class online in Spring '09. Everything is based on Math Lab, its very easy to learn if you keep practicing. I hate Math but I got a B learning on my own. Finals is taken in-person, he gives a formula sheet. Quizzes are based on what you learn on Math Lab. Grades based on your performance.

Took his online 5-week class and missed the 1st exam. Did a 100% on MathLab homework, did okay on exams. I think he curves the grade because I did really bad on the comprehensive final exam but still passed the class. I would recommend him to anyone that hates math. Very helpful & friendly professor.

He is the best!! I scored poorly on my 3rd test and my final exam and still manage to pass with a C. If this is not your strong subject take him you?ll pass. Math lab is needed. You?ll have to complete homework and 6 quizzes (all due that last day of class). 3 test on blackboard, and the final exam is online @ testing site. I really recommend him!!

Do your homework and you'll be fine! Three tests that are online and the final is online/ oncampus and a formula sheet is given. The book is available on MyMathLab but I bought it on ebay for like $25. It's a pretty straightforward class.

Mr.Bazargan was a wonderful professor,I took him for math 0306 and earned an B and now taking him and almost to an A and in the Spring taking him for next course and I hatte Math and very poor in it. He makes you understand what you are doing. I dont know what the other people saying he sucks or he doesnt teach or has an attitude you have to be in

Calculus 2 is one of the hardest subject but he made it so easy and simple. He is extremely helpful and friendly professor. His tests are easy and short. Just concentrate the problems he does in class and you will do good in the exams. Homework are not mandatory. i made "B" in his class. He gives alot of extra credit. highly recommended.

He is a great teacher willing to help you if you ask.Theres only 3 test,final,math lab.30 questions each test.Great Teacher highly recommend him if you dont understand just ask make sure you do your math lab and your guaranteed to pass.

I took this course online and the way he does things is a bit confusing. He doesn't give the final review till the night before the final. In person he is very helpful and he's a great teacher. You have four tests and a final. Also you have homework which he stresses that if you do well on that you can pass.

Great Professor! Nice and helpful. I took calc 3 with him and he teaches very clearly. He gives good examples and tells you which ones are going to be on the test. He assigns hw problems that will help for the exam. TAKE HIM b/c his class will fill up fast!!

Teacher was cool. I had him for Cal 2. Teaches directly out of the book, and the test problems are from the book. You should have no problem passing if you study. The only thing I hated was that the final was multiple choices and something he pulled from his rear end, which is why I got a B.

Dr. Bazargan is a wonderful teacher! I had no interest in math unitl I took his class. I learned so much! It was hard for me to keep up at first because I did not have a good foundation in math. Br. Bazargan helped me out a lot! He stopped and explained things and took his time in showing examples. I highly recommend him!

Amazing professor. Calculus is a difficult subject but his lectures make it easier and also his tests are similar from his notes questions. He also gives you bonus marks (adds 5% to your lowest test mark, replaces a test grade with web assign grade). I would recommend him to other people.

He is a very easy professor and gives you a lot of extra credit opportunities. I made an A in his class. Calculus is not an easy subject, but his tests are directly from his notes. I only wish you would have gone in more depth. But, overall if you pay attention you will make a good grade.

I missed a lot of classes due to personal reason but it didn't affect my grade at all. After teaching every section, he gives examples and shows us how to do them step by step. The tests are ok. Not hard but not too easy. It's all in the examples and homeworks. As long as you do the example and hw, you'll be fine. 4 tests including final. No quiz.

Professor Bazargan is by far the best math professor I have ever taken. He starts at the basics and makes sure that everyone has those down before moving on. There are no surprises in his class because all of the examples and the test questions come from the book. His tests are 10 questions long that's it. WARNING: Final is multiple choice.

I 'venever met Mr Bazargan in person but I took calc 2 online with him. He is very clear with what he wants, and you have plenty of time to do your home works on web assign but it takes time, the quizzes are annoying, it is a little hard but there are tutorial videos which will help . Tests are easy! Final is not bad at all. Have to self dependent

Professor Bazargan has to be my favorite professor this semester. He helps you throughout the whole term, and he is very detailed in his lectures. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is trying to really learn the material and get an overall A.

best Math Professor at HCC. Besides him being a professor, he has a very nice heart and is such a sweet person and truly cares for his students. All tests questions are literally from the book but different numbers. He narrows down what to study in the book and what not to study. (basically your test review) HE IS AMAZING! I have taken this professor for cal 2 and now cal 3. He explains very well and you can tell that he knows his stuff. He is able to teach in a way that anyone can understand. Test questions come directly form your homework he tells you to do, so as long as you do your homework and pay attention in class you will defiantly make an A or at least a B.

Before I took Professor Bazargan, I had gone a year and a half without taking a math class. I was able to keep up with his instructions and did fairly well on tests. He is an extremely fair teacher that grades tests relatively easily. Tests are exactly like the homework and there are no quizzes. The hardest part of class is doing a lot of hwk.

Professor Bazargan is really a great teacher. His lectures are easy to follow, just make sure you show up and write down notes and what he writes on the board. Even if you forget some of what is taught, your notes will help, and his tests are from alot of notes. Do the webassign homework as it is given, as it piles up very quickly (10 Q's a day.)

If you are not good at math you can still learn a lot through the ConnectMath where you have to do your homework. 4 online exams and then final in campus. If you wanna pass you will need to practice a LOT. Homeworks are open from day one and the exams are open for three days to be taken. He did give extra point as well...

Took both Calculus 1 and 2 with dr. Bazargan; extremely good prof.; explains math clearly; very helpful and super knowledgeable; made summer semester very easy to to pass; would surely take him again.

Best calculus professor in hcc. he doesn't event look in the book for all definition. he is very knowledgeable. Explaining very well. Calculate the whole problems in the class. I wish i had him for cal 1,and 2.

Haven't taken a math class in 10 years. His lectures are a bit fast paced at times but as long as you study the textbook and ask questions, you will pass. He answered all of my emails in a timely manner and being in the military, he was more than willing to work with my schedule. FOLLOW HIS SYLLABUS AND YOU WILL PASS!!!!

I have no clue what they're saying during lectures, and I can't read their cursive, but dang. Difficulty level THREE rated calc 2 professor? Lowest 1 out of 4 exams dropped? grade distribution is 5% discussion, 55% exam, 20% final, 20% assignments? The professor could be a literal rock, and I would still recommend this class just for grade split.

This professor was one of the best math instructors I have ever had. Very polite & kind. Great lectures. He would explain the topic, work on 1-2 examples with the class, answered any questions. Tests were on paper and HW was on ALEKS, with some extensions. The subject was challenging but he broke it down for us. Overall great guy.
