I enjoyed his class. He wants to help you and he's tells us what to study for the exam. He's very nice and always willing to help. He has little accent, but if you know the term, you will get it. I liked his class!

Dr. Javdan Is an amazing professor. I had him for both A&P1 & 2. He is very knowledgable of the subject and he's always willing to help. His test are right out of his power points and he speaks very clearly. He will go over things until the class understands it. He is a true asset to Queensborough. Had him for lec. Really nice professor and is always willing to help. I hear horrible stories about prof. that are nasty to their students when they ask questions. PROF JAVDAN IS NOT ONE OF THOSE. He is so understanding on how tough A&P can be. He does have a little bit of an accent but it doesn't hinder his great teach skills and kindness.

obviously, you have to STUDY hard for a&p. he takes attendance for every class. I think he explains well and much easier than other a&p profs. and complete the review sheet before your exam! it helps you a lot. and he understands of absences if its reasonable. Take Him! he has an accent but its fine.

good professor however you have to study VERY hard. his review sheets are just to give an idea of what will be on the test, your best bet will be to actually memorize and understand every single slide he gives. i followed the review sheet the first time, got a 76. other times i memorized everything got a 90,96,100. he truly cares about his students

He is such a sweet nice man!I really did love his lecture class this summer:)Yes, he does have a strong accent, but he is always willing to help and answer questions.About his review sheets-you HAVE to be thorough!He provides you with questions on them,but you better know EVERYTHING about that question.So basically MEMORIZE all the slides!No joke

I was worried about taking an intensive summer class but he really did help and lessen the stress and burden. Very straight forward and general exams that come out of the PowerPoint. The only issue I had was sometimes his written grammar is confusing. Very helpful, friendly, respectful, experienced. Take him! Cheers!

Great professor! I took 301 during the summer and even though it was pretty intense Prof Javdan made it as easy as possible for students. Definitely would recommend him!

He's a great professor. Great sense of humor, always smiling and one of the few professors that says hi when you greet him. He taught medical interns on anatomy for over 10 years and has been a Dr. longer. He knows his stuff and is very fair. Take him, take him, take him!!

Not a terrible teach, but I wasn't a fan. His lectures can be boring, but they are important. You can technically get away with studying from the power points, but I definitely needed to read the text. I just used his power points as a reference as to what to read and study from the text. Otherwise, he was ok. There's also alot to memorize. Study!!

Professor Javdan is a very good Professor, he explains the material until you understand. He goes above and beyond for his students , he's an assets to QCC. Definitely you have to study , his study guide helps but read, read and read!

Great prof. Always available to answer any questions. His lectures are long but important for those going into the health field. The study guides are a big help, a majority of the list are on the exams with a few that you have to pay attention in lecture to know. highly recommended!

Great A&P II lab professor. He is very helpful and will go over the material as many times as you need. His lectures tend to be a little long in the beginning but it's helpful. His exams are easy. He goes over everything you need to know. Does study guides but they aren't worth going over. You don't need any of the lab books.

I had him for A&P 1 Lab over the summer. He explains and shows you everything you need to know for the tests. Make sure you make a video of him doing it because he will only do it once. He even goes through the answers to the test after its done so you have some idea of the grade you got. His lectures may be boring but he is a great professor!

Amazing professor, Truly cares for the students. Even though he gives powerpoint, i strongly recommend still reading the textbook. First exam i got an 80 because i only studied the slides, when i read the textbook and slides i got 98, 90, 94 following exams. He even adds 1 point to your overall grade. isn't tricky like most professors are.

I had Professor Javan for A&P302 Lab, very caring & cool, patient, you have to study the models, microscope slides, and it's beneficial to go to the Learning Center to practice on the models. Fair grader, 50 questions, no multiple choice, 4 exams for the entire semester. Study & ask questions in lab and you'll be fine. Great Professor!

I had Prof. Javan for 302 lab and he was amazing, his exams are straight forward, comes directly from his study guide. He is not critical on spelling. Fair grader, will give you what you deserve. QCC can definitely benefit from having more professors like him. Take him and you won't regret!1

Prof. Javdan is a great instructor. He makes lab fun and interesting. It's true, he has patience with his students. He teaches students, he doesn't just force the curriculum for the semester on you. Javdan is a great professor, if you are going into medicine. Otherwise i'd advise taking the class with a different professor. The slides which he gives you contain exactly what will be on his exams, but that doesn't necessarily make it easy. Again, he's great but be prepared to put in the work. He's willing to help.

Took Professor Javdan for A&P I Lab. He simplifies topics down and provides real life examples relating to the anatomy. He comes from a professional medical background and is very knowledgeable about anatomy. His powerpoints are labelled well and help you study for the practicals. A good solid choice for anatomy lab.

Professor Mohammad Javdan is amazing. I love the way he teach. He use power point but he always draw and write on the board to explain the power point. He take attendance all the time. He give review sheet out for each exam. His exam questions is fair enough if you study the material he teach on the class.

Best professor of A&P in QCC

Professor Javdan is probably the best in the science department, he explains the material in depth and posts his slides on Blackbaord so you can study from it and not have to use the textbook. Had him for both lab and lecture and very grateful for it too, I would reccomend this professor he cares for the students and their grades.

He is my favorite professor in qcc He taught A&P every detail and personally, I think he is knowledgeable than others. I had him for 2 great semesters(301&302 lec&lab). His test was hard but It was a pleasure being in his class. He is an amazing educator, I have learned so much! The class hours are long, but he is always kind and understanding.

I took Professor Javdan for both BI301 (lab and lecture) and BI302 (lecture only) and I thought he was great. His slides are extremely helpful and are basically all you need to study for a test. Didn't even open my textbook once. Although his notes are extensively detailed, he is a fair grader and even gave us "pop quizzes" for extra points.

Dr. Javdan is a real gem!! After two semesters of class, I learned a lot. God I wish I can take his class in every biology course but I can't go back. Sad but true. MISS HIS CLASS ALREADY.

In lecture he does a mini review of each slide so you can understand everything you just learned, this helps for the exam too, He is pretty straightforward you can ask him anything at any time hes willing to help and clarify things for you, there is no extra credit but he does give us review, slides and tells us what we should know for the exams

If you record this professor be aware he does have an accent so on record things may not sound right, in person the accent is fine. Overall hes a good professor he truly makes you understand the overall message of each slide for you to know for exams.

if he lets you record him explaining the models (he might not), do it and study the for the tests base on it as well as the review sheet he gives out. Each questions on his tests are timed and you can't go back to a station making it difficult if you don't know the material well. overall he's okay. If he's your only choice it's not the end of world

Had Prof. Javdan for AP 2 for both lecture and lab. He explains very well and presents the material in a simplified and intuitive manner. He used to teach in medical school and he is very knowledgeable in his subject. Study from his power points, take good notes! (essential information for tests) and show interest. He is a cool prof!

he's a GREAT professor and i have no bad things to say about him. however, he is a tougher professor than other a&p professors and you'll have to work harder if you take him. This builds a good foundation for the future though so it may be for the best.

I've seen previous reviews about the prof. not giving enough time for the exams. Although this is true, Prof. Javdan was kind enough to let me make up for the questions that I have missed. As long as you reach out to him, he will try to accommodate to you. A&P is generally a hard course itself. It is a class you have to study for regardless.

I cant say it is not a good teacher. Even though I know his exams are very tricky, and he doesnt give enough time. Although, he is a great teacher. It was too late when I finally got the way he gave his exams. He always gave us outline for the exams. I definitely want him as my Professor lab again.

Professor Javdan Is not an easy professor however you will learn greatly in his class, I'm almost done with the semester and I have to say he was my favorite professor thus far, he will make you work for it but if you show the effort you will definitely pass. He gives you some extra credit to boost your grade but youre mainly just taking exams from him. His exams are on the harder side and theyre timed which sometimes he doesnt give enough time and you cant go back to any questions ! He is a fair explainer

This professor was great! When I first enrolled I was discouraged based upon some reviews. From my experience he is very fair with his teaching, BIO302 isn't a easy course so you have to put in the work. Make sure you record lectures and demonstrations and use his study guides! It is very helpful, I say dedicate a week to studying before any exam!

just make sure you are actively paying attention in his course and study/memorize the powerpoints. he is really caring and offers extra credit if you are struggling, especially since his exams are somewhat difficult. he also responds fast to his emails. he is a good professor.

The lectures were a little dry but I could tell that Dr. Javdan did his best to make the material fun. He provides peripheral information to help students understand things better. I had an amazing time in his class and would love to be his student again.

Professor Javdan was one of the best professors I've had in my entire college career. He is incredibly caring and above all, knowledgable on the subject of Biology. I was eager to go to class every week just to hear him speak; his lectures were so informative and directly related to exams. Gave so much extra credit. A true class act in teaching!

I had him for BI 301 LAB and made sure he was the prof. for BI 302 LEC. If you have any questions or need review he is more than willing to help, his tests are very fair and straightforward. He gives opportunities for EC, usually around 4 but upto 8 points towards exams. Great professor, very passionate and cares about students.

I took BI 302 with Dr Javdan on Summer semester. I like his professional ethic from in term of teaching. He is informative, prepared, and responsive. This class is rewarding because the professor does not skip a single chapter in the syllabus. You will learn a lot throughout the semester.

I honestly can say that he is an extraordinary Professor Javdan. It is alot of information to study for each exam, but keep in mind, that this session is a Summer 2025 session shorter than a regular semester. Listen careful to his lectures, he will tell you "study this, this will be on your exam". Great PowerPoint slides.

Prof. Javdan is one of the best professors I've had. AP1 is fast-paced and info-heavy, but he explains concepts clearly and uses real-life examples that help things stick. AP1 is really hard, but as long as you pay attention in class, review the PowerPoints, and use the study guide, you'll be fine. I wish I got into his 302 class!

He's actually a pretty good teacher I was scared when I took his class because his rating was 3.8 but he's actually not a bad teacher and he's very knowledge on what he's teacher I actually enjoyed his class

His lab sessions are very informative and always give us a summary after each topic, and he lets us record while he is explaining, if we want to study it later. He is awesome, take the class he lets you record the models as he explains every possible question he can ask you, as well he posts a study guide.
