Good teacher, he offeres math lab time. He gets down to the important stuff, makes math much easier to understand. Take him. He also teaches Statistics.

Prof Tehranian is just an exceptionally superb instructor.Down-to-earth humble, passionate,considerate,knowledgable,and amiable to all.His is more than an inspiration to lots of us who never thought we could good at maths.

I loved him to death! He was sometimes hard to understand, but I thought he knew the subject very well, and he was always willing to help you out! Very good teacher!

He is really fun and helpful. He makes the difficult concept to very easy points. His notes are very clear. The notes help you to understand the complecate statistic concepts.As long you follow his class notes and math lab questions, you will get the grade you expect.

He is very good professor. I recommend anybody to take a course with him.

Nice professor. easy class. However i haven't givin him 5 in Clarity because he has an accent, if you can get along with it , you will like it or else get some one without an accent.

This teacher cares about his students and is helpful, but the class is very hard.It just gets harder and harder each week. The only reason I passed with a C was b/c he let us do test corrections. I was a strait A student before this class. He does loss his temper at times.

Mohammad Tehranian is an EXCELLENT professor. No doubt, you WILL learn true statistics. Believe me. I took it the 1st time with Foster and she was TERRIBLE. HUGE difference with Tehranian. GREAT statistics examples. Plus, he lets u do test corrections. This class is definitely hard. BUT he is the BEST professor to take it with and worth yur $$

Great teacher!!!! He will work with you untill you get it!!! He lets you do test corrections. His accent is not a problem. He is very clear. I would suggest him to anybody!!

He is by far, one of the BEST math teachers I've ever had in all my years of school. He is really good at teaching and I highly recommend him for anyone planning on taking statistics who wants an A. Very down to earth man. All you have to do is come to class, take notes, pay attention, go over the reviews for the test and you'll be fine.

This guy is so funny and awesome. He helped me out so much. I went from at the beginning of the semester not knowing if I would pass to getting an A. He lets you do test corrections and gives you half the points back. He also lets you turn in your labs whenever (he accepts late work). I would HIGHLY recommend him!

Most awesome teacher ever. He is so easy. Just do the labs because the test come from it. He does all that he can to get you an A. If you don't it is your own fault. Just come to class and be respectful and you will do fine.

He is so awesome. At first i was a little scared b/c i couldn't understand him that good, but once you get use to him you are bound to love him. He is so funny, you just can't disrespect him.

Tehranian is a great professor. Hard to understand at first, but once you get past the accent the class is fine. Definitely go to class and, if you need help or don't understand, go to math lab. If he sees that you are trying and that you care about your grade, he's a lot of help.

Good Professor. Very Helpful. Always at the Math-Lab. So there is a good and strong opportunity to at least pass the class. Statistics for me was not one of the typical hard math classes. Not that it was easy either. It's just all about the practice. Keep trying at it and you'll get it.

A really great instructor. Statistics was hugely intimidating to me and he made it interesting and concise. He genuinely wants you to do well and will bend over backward to help you if you are willing to help yourself. He offers verbal praise for progress. INOT a blow off instructor though. You must study hard.

Highly, highly recommend this professor! I was absolutely terrified of Statistics before taking his class. Mohammad totally broke it down into easy to understand language. Not a blowoff class. You must work hard....I spent LOTS of time in the math lab (Mohammad is there ALL the time) and got an A!

I haven't been in class too long but so far it looks good. He's a really nice and funny teacher and he's EXTREMELY helpful if you put forth some effort. If you're scared to say something in class just go to math lab b/c he's always there!!

awesome teacher. i had failed every math class until this one! so if you don't understand algebra, take his class. if you can't get in, go to the math lab at spring creek. he is ALWAYS there!!! he is the best teacher i've ever had!

AMAZING TEACHER! math is my WORST subject but the lowest grade i got on a test was a B-. Hes a very patient teacher and explains everything. TAJE HIM!

When I first started Prof. Tehranian's class, it was frustrating because he doesn't explain the syllabus. The first day, it's right to work, but aside from this, he was an awesome teacher. He is always willing to help and is in the math lab everyday. If you work hard, you will do well. He expects alot from you and is very encouraging.

Prof. Tehranian is THE BEST Math teacher at CCCCD. He does everything possible to help his students succeed and he is always available in the Math Lab if you need extra help. He loves teaching and obviously loves Math! I highly recommend him. He may come across as gruff and impatient at times but he is really wonderful.

The professor is a wonderful teacher and dedicates his time to helping students in the math lab - answering questions. During the lectures you will not get much time to ask questions and you need to take notes as much as you can. If you are not a person that has a "sense" for mathematics you need to do the homework or you will not succeed.

Best Part: On his tests, whatever grade you're given the first time around, you can earn back 50% of what was deducted by turning in test corrections. That could be your 60 turning itself into an 80. Yes please.

Took for Trig and College Algebra. He will do whatever it takes to help. He is always in the math lab, an is an immense help if you are willing to put a bit of effort into the class. He sometimes moves pretty quickly through the lecture, but he won't balk at questions. Highly recommended.

I had him for elementary stats and the class wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. He is a bit hard to understand at times but he takes the time to make sure you understand what he is teaching. Even though he tells you exactly what you need to know, you will basically have to teach yourself..just like any other math class.

I had taken Trig in high school (14 years ago) so it was little more than a refresher for me. However, I enjoyed his class. He is a bit quiet, but is definitely a fair teacher. His reviews prior to the test will help you immensely in prepping for his tests.

I took college algebra with this teacher exactly a year ago. I would jump at the chance to take it again just so I could have him as a teacher. You will be lucky if you are able to get into one o his classes. Give yourself at least a week to warm up to him and you'll be grateful you did.

Took him for elementary stats, great professor. Do the labs he gives, even if they are optional. They will really help you on the test. He is available for help and allows for corrections on test.

I was about to give up on Algebra. I dropped college Algebra twice. I gave it one more shot and thank god. This guy taught me so well that I got an A+. He is funny and smart. He is very willing to help students who try. He works in the math lab. This was helpful for me when I needed some extra help

He knows his stuff. His accent takes a while to catch on, but anything you need to know is written on the board. He is very helpful and is willing to go over problems multiple times to ensure that you get it.

Great professor. Very understanding and everyone in the class loved him. Hard to understand because of his accent but its easy once you catch on. He told me that I am to smart to do what I want to do and should become a teacher

Professor Tehranian is an awesome professor. He explains the material very well, tells you exactly what will be covered on test. If you need some additional help, he is always available (in the math lab)! :)If he taught any other courses I would definitely take him.

I was terrified coming in to this class knowing I had to make an A in order to get in to nursing school. Mohammad was by far, the BEST professor I have ever had. This was a hard class but he was willing to help in any way. He made learning fun and enjoyable, even on a saturday! Coming to class in mandatory or you will miss ALOT! This is college!

Great professor! If you take him during a mini/summer session, show up or you will miss a lot. (as w/any other class) Extremely helpful and patient. Will break it down until you verbalize understanding. Funny sense of humor! Take him! :)

GREAT PROFESSOR. Do not buy a book; all you need is to print out his notes. He shows you how to do EVERYTHING on the calculator which means you do not have to memorize any formulas. Difficult to understand at times but he is always available in the math lab to help.

Took this course during Maymester and I was scared at first, seeing that I'm bad at Math. But he is one of the best professors I've taken. He gets straight to the point. Don't hesitate to ask questions, very helpful, understanding, and he is always in the math lab. You don't need a textbook, print his note, take notes. Easy A! I loved it.

TAKE HIM! The tests are EXACTLY like the study guides! And he explains it so clearly.. A MUST have professor! Other students from different courses would always come up to him and ask him questions because he's seriously the best math professor. Very patient, kind, easy if you pay attention, and can help ANY student struggling or not! TAKE HIM

Professor Mohammad is a really great professor and person. I enjoyed each class. They are very simple and easy. Remember to take a calculator to class and a notebook to take notes. His notes and exam reviews are very helpful for the actual tests. You do not need a textbook. Study all of his notesreviews and there should be no reason to fail.

Professor Tehranian is extremely sweet/kind/cares for his students. As with any math class practice makes perfect. He is always in the Math Lab so he will always assist you with the material. There were 4 tests (2 multiple choice and last 2 were written) and a final. 10% HW 10% Labs 4 tests all 15% EACH and 20% Final. I absolutely recommend him!!

Minus the dreaded "mymathlab" work, Mr. Mohammad was awesome! He was very straight forward, gives plenty of examples, and is passionate about his students! He personally wants each of his students to make an A and will go out of his way to make sure they are successful!

Wonderful teacher. In person is the way to take MATH1342. I wish he had written the textbook. He would tell us shortcuts, and I would have total clarity. I find the textbook excessively wordy and the online homework confusing (math department requires it). Go to the live class. Avoid MATH1342 online. Pearson is the company that does the online.

Great Teacher, with a great personality. It is statistics, and it will be difficult, but he will guide you through the class and is available for help in the math lab everyday after class. There is no reason you should not pass this class besides a lack of effort. I highly recommend him!

Mr. T is a great teacher. Hes so good he doesnt even use the book to teach. He just remembers it all off the top of his head! He gives hand outs and will teach you short cuts on the calculator. He will answer any question you have. Hes always in the math lab to help outside of class too. Study the work in class handouts and dont fall behind statlab

He's adorable. Reminds me of my grandpa. Teaches you things to help with the test. he'll show you tricks in the calculator. Best reviews ever that helped with the test. Only thing I disliked were the online lab homework. It was VERY time consuming, make sure you do a little everyday or you're going to lose your mind.

Don't base your opinion on him by your first impression. He's a really great professor who will take the time to help you understand and get rid of any confusion. Prof Tehranian gives great in class notes and works through problems in class similar to the ones on tests. He's also surprisingly very funny and shows that he cares.
