He is one of the best teachers at El Camino, he get right to the point and there are no midterm or finals just weekly quizzes that are super easy if you come to class, take notes and study.

This professor is an EXCELLENT teacher. All of the material that he goes over is seriously "retard proof." The only bad thing about him is that he is annoying! He says, "Are we clear on this?" after every sentence...NO JOKE!!! He's only there to get paid/do his job, but he's an incredible instructor!

Oh man, what a hilarious and friendly instructor. I really enjoyed his great humor and perspective on the world of psychology. Unlike other professors, his lectures are really interesting, also the people who attend his class always leaves the classroom with a smile. This class is really fun/funny.He has an accent but it's not too bad.He's there for extra help.OH YEAH, the tests are open notes but you still need to understand them, and BE HAPPY its open notes b/c if it wasn't the tests would be SUPER hard!

I am taking him right now (Fall 2010). He totally changed all his rules and regulations for his class... we had open notes for the first test. Then all of a sudden he stopped and all tests were closed notes. You dont need to buy the book, but write all the notes on the projector and take side notes to what he says. His tests are based on the slides

Someone told me depending on whether or not he likes ur class will determine if the tests are open note, which is VERY helpful. First test was open note, last 2 were closed. Anything that disrupts his lectures piss' him off (late ppl, talking) & he WILL point you out. I recommend him because he gives you real life examples & doesnt use a book.

his class is relatively easy. does not use textbook at all and all tests are from lecture notes. he has weird in class assignments that involve divulging personal information, which he tends to share with other people. be prepared to hear a lot of stories about his wife, kid, and ex girlfriends. also, says "isn't that interesting" all the time.

His tests were a lot harder than I thought, but I ended up getting an A, even though I got all B's on the tests (?). Anyways, Professor Mohammed is a good professor and tells endless stories. I took his 3 hour class which seemed to drag on forever, but it wasn't too bad. Also, he hates people being late which I hate too. :p

He's cool! Extremely helpful, ready to answer questions and the tests are strictly based on lectures since there is no book needed for this class. He has his days, but he's overall a good teacher.

Pros: No textbook required (saves money!), clear notes, interesting lectures with funny examples from his life, multiple choice exams, no homework. Cons: Tests are tricky in wording, so study your notes, and he gets mad if you're tardy so always come on time lest you get kicked out for the day. I would recommend this class. He's a great professor.

I took his class for Summer semester which was really hard for all the information the class has to give but Professor Mohammad made everything really easy by using his own experiences and examples to help is understand and made the class really enjoyable! Definitely one of the best professors I've ever taken!

He is a very entertaining professor. Does not use textbook, lectures based on projection, very knowledgeable on the subject, and is very clear. It's just that his tests aren't so easy. At least there's no homework, though!

His test are TRICKY, you need to pay attention to each word he mention in his ALL multiple choice tests. Will give an extra credit assignment and curves the exams. Not an easy A, you need to memorize and most importantly know and understand the material to get an A.

He makes class awesome, I loved it. He demonstrates GREAT examples that record with ease into your mind. Yes, his test are indeed a little tricky. Just make sure that when you study, that you know clearly what everything means so that you won't confuse yourself with his wording. The lecture is fun and never boring! no need to buy textbook, the class goes by taking notes of his own definitions down. His tests are almost all scenarios with multiple choices. He substitutes definitions to different words, but if you don't know those words, ask him. He will answer them. Overall, I loved his class.

his quizzes are not the usual! He is an extremely hilarious professor, you will never be bored in his class i promise. no textbook needed, just paper for notes and Scranton for tests. however, his tests are based on life events, not definitions of of textbooks. make sure to take good notes, COPY EVERY WORD HE SAYS for how he says it.

Great Teacher but Tests are HARD

tests are ridiculously hard but this was a great class, prof is funny and keeps you interested however his tests aren't really matched to his lecture and he doesn't make you read the book so i don't understand how he expects people to pass. He will publicly humiliate you if you are late and make you leave. not a nice guy when it comes to that.

Questions on the exams are very tricky. Exams are open notes. Talks a lot about his personal stories that link to lectures. Since most of his extra credits were in-class activities, you have to be in your seat on time. He really does kick you out of class when you're late. You don't need to get a textbook for his class, so take good notes.

Professor Muhammad is awesome! He tells really good stories and knows what he's talking about. He's also really honest which is appreciated. However he gives little to no homework so your grade is pretty much composed of your tests so you have to take good notes and study. But it's okay because his tests are open notes!

Took his class during SUMMER after reading about him here and was glad I did. His tests aren't too bad--just take notes of everything and truly be able to understand and DISTINGUISH between the different concepts/topics. His class was about 2 hours long, but he's very funny and lets you out about 30 mins earlier, so it felt like a breeze everyday.

Class is 100% lectures and tests are open-notes. Grading is basically all tests with maybe two in-class assignments and no homework. If you show up 20+ minutes late, he'll send you home and he has 0 toleration for phones/disruptive talking. It's a pretty easy class and he's hilarious and has a lot of good stories that relate to the topics.

This guy is beyond hilarious! i took a 7:45am class and even then he was really funny and did what he had to do accordingly. He is very sarcastic but in the most hilarious way. He tests are open notes so it's a bit of an easy class, ONLY if you're notes are good. No homework and only one chance of extra credit towards the end of the semester.

Not sure why there's one random bad review. The class is really straight forward. Only way you can mess up is if you take terrible notes. The tests are pretty difficult but that's why you have to take GOOD notes and not just copy everything from the overhead. If you literally copy everything off the board, this isn't the class for you.

Prof. Abdelhamid is straight forward. He has a lot of stories. Good examples that go with the lecture. He Loves his daughter. His tests are not cumulative and they are open note tests but r tricky. Gives xtra credit when he notices students need it. Absolutely dislikes students using their phone during lecture. so dont use it. No HW. Fun class.

No homework, & open note tests. Lectures were fun because he has lots of entertaining stories. BUT, there was no opportunities to get points aside from test scores! He gave short in class assignments + an extra credit paper both in which I received full credit on, but even though I take great notes, the tests were hard cause he words them weirdly.

The professor is relatable and learning is fun and accessible. His class is simple. Show up, take notes on what he says. Listen. Participate. Be ready for tests only. The tests are wordy compared to his notes, but if you understand the concepts and have listened, you will pass the tests and class. Gives extra credit. Open note tests!

Definitely recommend this professor! His exams are all open note, but short and difficultly worded. Occasional extra credit and exams are weighted. the only downside is you don't know your grade until the semester is over because you only see your raw test scores. no homework and very interesting lectures.

Professor Mohammed is super easygoing and funny. His tests are all open note, the textbook is not required, no homework, and offers in-class extra credit assignments.

Do not take his class if you are easily offended or sensitive, cause he really could not care less about your feelings. He creates his own definitions of some terms, so make sure you write those down as that is the way he will use them on the tests, which are all open notes. Offers some extra credit here and there. Has some moody days, so beware.

one of the funniest professors ive ever had! his tests are open note so attendance is important in my opinion, just take good notes and listen to the lectures and youll be fine. his lectures are entertaining though so i actually like going to class. he likes it when people participate, it just further helps with discussions during class.

Hes an amazing professor! He is also very fair with his grading and does not assign to much work. I enjoyed his class so much and would definitely recommend taking his class. He truly does care about his students and is always available to as answer any questions.

Great teacher & material is fabulous. I was very happy to learn from him, but there was no work in this course. The ENTIRE class had a total of 83 points. If you mess up on even one test, your shot at getting an A are over. I've never wrote a review and suggested a professor give you more work but this class needed. If you don't mind a B, recommend

I really liked his class. He is a really cool guy. He really tries to help his students out. There were no meeting times, just recordings. His class wasnt too bad, and he responded to his email quickly. I would say, if you get the chance, take him.

However, the examples he gives don't always relate to the questions. super easy though. grade is based on quizzes and there are discussions, that don't really count. loved him and his content. take him for psyc108 if you can!

Probably the best psych-stats professor at El Camino. Gives lots of extra credit and the class isn't homework heavy at all. He actually explains the material well, is super engaging and cares about his students. He doesn't just read off a powerpoint like a lot of other professors at elco.

Took this class for extra credits for my semester and it was pretty easy…..only 6 assignments and 6 quizzes for the entire course so it did not get in the way of my other coursework. Would recommend this class as an easy GPA booster.

This professors lectures made everything a lot easier to understand. I love watching the lectures as he broke down everything step by step. If you want to learn, are scared to take statistics like I was take his class! Even if you don't understand it at first he'll gladly schedule a zoom call with you. Great professor would definitely recommend.
