Definitely don't buy the book. I literally did not use it once. He uploads his powerpoints on Moodle. Passes an attendance sheet. For a MWF class, we only met on MW because he said "that was plenty of time". Friday's were for the occasional test. He's very willing to help, although kind of difficult to understand with his accent. Take him.

. HE WILL CHANGE YOUR GRADE IF YOU ASK. I earned an 88 in the course and emailed him asking him if there was anything he could do to boost me, and he said he would raise it. He did the same for me on a homework assignment. He is a blessing, and he comes off as very gentle hearted if you speak to him outside of class. Excellent professor.

Believe every horror story about stats but not about this professor. I SUCK at math. I failed for that reason alone. He was great, willing to go above and beyond to help me EVERY way he could, accepted late work and even rescheduled tests. I just sucked that bad. The best professor for stats. Took linear algebra with this professor and it was quite easy if you study the review and do all your homework. If you do both of those you a guaranteed to pass this class. He's always willing to help.

This professor was awesome. I have always struggled with math. It has never been my subject. On multiple occasions, I went to Dr. Daher for help, assistance, and any clarification I might need. He cares about his students and wants to ensure their success. Seriously, take his Stats course. I was very well prepared for the common final exam.

He is so nice, supportive to all students even though his ancient is just a little hard. Not too much homework and quizzes, but all of them are nearly the same with the test. Do the hw assignments and the quizzes . They are pretty easy and answers can be found online. His accent is pretty heavy but you can tell hes very passionate about teaching and knows what he is doing. Very responsive to the students and answer all questions the best way he can. He also posts his notes online so you dont need to show up everyday

He gave very detailed lectures and made sure no one was confused. He used an online platform for students to complete assignments and the platform helped me understand the topics so much in addition to his teachings. Multiple attempts on hwks and they are similar to the tests, which he lets us use notes for. If you pay attention, you should understand the material, he explains it well. Great Professor! Not many assignments so its important that you do good on the ones you do have. You always have 2 or 3 tries on a quiz and homework. Tests usually are very similar to past assignments. Attendence is mandatory but his lectures help out a lot and he is always willing to answer any question you have! I recommend!

Took the summer session and it was a very interesting class. He had all his lectures uploaded and you could go through them at your own leisure. His powerpoints were very thorough and helpful. There are about 2 assignments per week and they both have 2 tries to get it right. He is very willing to help and responds to emails quickly.

My strong suit isn't math and I got an A. He explains the material pretty well and moves at a moderate pace. His quizzes are easy and short. You're going to be using Hawkes Learning so be prepared to pay for that. A few modules due every week, make sure to finish them on time. Either an in-class or online test every couple of weeks, usually easy.

There is a lot of homework but it is very manageable. There are several quizzes and four main tests. It is very easy to get a good grade because most of the quizzes and all of the homework gives you multiple chances. I made a 96 with minimal effort.

His accent can be hard to understand at times and he teaches at a very fast pace. He teaches mainly by solving problems rather than explaining them. He also does not really answer questions. I went to every class but I know others students barely went and still passed with over a 90 so attendance isnt mandatory is you are willing to teach yourself.

I honestly think he is a good math teacher. He will go over things and if you need will go over it multiple times in different ways until you understand as long as you ask. If you need something he will not answer email so don't bother and he may be difficult to understand at times, but it's not honestly not bad. Easy class just study for tests.

Daher works for the student and provides plenty of accommodation and understanding for the class and truly tries to make the class the least burdening as possible. Despite this his lectures can be pretty monotone and boring and hard to pay attention to if you struggle with that type of thing.

I hate math, but needed a Stat class for my degree. Professor Daher explained things in multiple different ways to make sure everyone understood. I wouldn't say attendance is mandatory, but if you go to class, he is willing to help you out more with your grade if you bomb a test or something.

everything i learned from this class, i taught myself tbh. this class was half online, half in person. he allows you to attend class through zoom which was nice. all of the assignments and test are through hawkes. the final exam is in person on paper. no extra credit.

Recommend the Summer Course. The class itself is a bit difficult but with Professor Daher, I feel like he explained well (even through his accent) and he makes sure you understand. ASK QUESTIONS!! And definitely take good notes and write examples as some of them are on tests and hw assignments. attend classes, he bumps grade for participation.

Explained things well enough. As long as you do the homework you will know everything you need to for the tests. The final was a little bit of a toss-up as to what to specifically study but it wasn't that bad.

He is a wonderful professor, he is simply just misunderstood. He receives a lot of hate but still makes it to class every day to give it his all. He was on time for class every day and even early some days to help students who were struggling and had questions. He presented many extra credit opportunities and even dropped the lowest test grade.

Mr Mohammed has taught stats to Taliban soldiers in the past. I wouldn't trust him if it weren't for all the extra credit.

Math has never been my cup of tea. Mr. Daher was able to dumb it down for me in a way no other teacher has been able to. I'm thankful for a beautiful dark skinned man such as himself to bless me with an abundance of extra credit.

Mr. Daher was a very professional professor. On top of being a mathematical wizard, he's quite knowledgeable in philosophy as well. I learned not only a lot about statistics but also about myself. The extra credit was abundant too.

Despite his faults Mohammed really does want the best out of his students. I received an abundance of extra credit and help when needed.

This instructor is a great professor, simplifying the material for nonmajor students. Just study well for tests. In addition, reopen homework assignments if you missed them. I will take any course with this instructor again.

I was worried about this course at the begging as I didn't mess with math for long time. I however, learned a lot of fundamental concepts that needed for advanced study and I loved the instructor way in simplifying the topics.

Professor Daher is one of those professors that likes to get down and dirty with his lectures and explaining a lot of materials during each lecture. Some extra credits and curves are available as oxygen in his class too. I would take classes with him again.

He is a good professor. His accent can be a little challenging to understand, but he repeats himself. The class consisted of ten homework grades, four tests, and a final exam. He was generous enough to give curves on all the tests to everyone. As long as you review the notes you take in class and do the study guides, you will do good on the tests.

He does the notes and problems along with students in class, shows you how to solve by hand and calculator. Is kind and helpful in office hours. If you ask him to check ur hw before submitting he will and correct your mistakes so you get a 100. GO TO CLASS! Some days he hands out worksheets that will be on exams!! literally like 10 free questions.

Homework is worth more than the tests. Make sure you make it to the lectures and pay attention because, after a certain chapter, the material is going to look the same. If you don't get something, try to learn it as soon as possible because it will come back in the following chapters.

Dr. Daher was one of the most amazing professor's I have had. This teacher is very helpful in tutoring and in class. Whenever you need help he is always in his office ready to help students. He provides students with lecture videos in case you need them which was very helpful as well.

Dr. Daher's lectures are excellently paced, he doesn't go too fast as to leave students behind or too slow that would make students lose focus. The written lecture notes are also great, leaving very little handwritten notes required as they are mostly done for you. In his own words you will be a "statistics robot" by the end of the semester.

The professor explains math concepts very well using a step-by-step approach. I had taken trigonometric functions before, but I didn't understand them well. However, after taking Dr. Daher's class, I have fully mastered trigonometric functions and learned many methods to tackle problems.

I've always heard that stats is very hard but it was smooth for me with this professor. Especially if you are a visual learner like I am, he is a great option for you. He is always willing to help his students in any way possible. He always makes sure we understand the work we are doing.

Professor Daher is what I'd call a hidden gem in the math department. He lets you use any calculator, and his assignments and tests are multiple choice. The way he teaches is designed so you pass and understand what you're doing. His exams are curved, massively at that but they're all rather easy. He's a sweet guy, and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Although being hard to understand at times, he always was giving good lectures and offering up the calculator operations as an option to solve the whole problem. 4 tests throughout the year are what you grade will be based on, but don't ignore the weekly home-works, as they are a good practice.

I'm horrible at pretty much anything math or statistics related but I can say this is the best math teacher I've ever had. His explanations of what he's teaching is easy to understand and helps get the point across very well. Yes, this professor is amazing. If you want to do good, please study previous chapters. You are tested on your knowledge from previous chapters throughout the course. Professor Daher is a wonderful teacher. I missed a couple classes due to sickness so I went to his office hours and he was very kind and understanding. The lecture notes were extremely helpful and so were the sample exams as study guides. I paid attention in class and studied the night before each test got an 80-90 on every one.

He also provides extra credit for students who attend all classes in the final exam. However, he struggles to explain difficult concepts at times during class lectures.

This was a really easy class. I thought calculus would have been way harder in college than in high school but it was the opposite. Very clear lectures and not much homework. Class uses WebAssign for Homework and quizzes. WebAssign contains videos and practice problems. He provides sheets in class that are similar to the test so ensure to use those to your advantage. Tests are straightforward. He is very helpful if you need extra support. I suggest going to office hours if you are confused on the content.

Professor Daher was an incredible instructor for Intro to Statistics! He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the subject but also genuinely kind and approachable. The quizzes being multiple choice made them less intimidating, and he went above and beyond by providing physical copies of notes for every student! Highly recommend taking him!

There is a lot of homework, but there is an extra credit opportunity for each assignment if completed 48 hours before the due date.

Dr. Daher was the best teacher. He let us use notes for the first exam and then allowed us to write whatever we could fit on an index card, and we could use it for the rest of exams/final. There was only one homework assignment due each week that I could get done in less than an hour. His accent can be hard to understand, but would 10/10 recommend.

The professor is very chill and kind towards all his students. Definitely the best Calc 2 professor there is. He also is good at teaching and the tests are very easy compared to other teachers. He provides guides before the test and 50 percent of the questions come from there. Should def take him.

I absolutely loved him I wish he could be my CALC 1120 professor. His lectures are clear and easily understandable he answers any questions in class and his office hours are more helpful. One of the kindest professors out there. He goes through a lot of examples per lectures, so if you learn by examples I would suggest him. He appreciates it when you put in effort, and will give you opportunities to raise your grade if he sees you struggling.

Great professor for Pre-Calc. His explanations aren't always the clearest but he will give you a lot of good resources to find the things you don't know. He is very understanding and willing to help you out. The class can be very homework heavy especially since its mostly on Pearson but doing the homework is great practice.

Genuinely, just attend class. He remembers whoever actually attends classes and will absolutely help your grade out if you need it. Otherwise its a fairly easy course with minimal homework and fairly straightforward tests. Make sure to talk to him to because he's very nice.

Great professor, his lectures were simple and straightforward and as long as you attend them and pay attention, you will pass the class with an A. Was a caring guy, and would try to answer your questions to the best of his ability. Hw and tests were all multiple choice and as long as you study the notes and hw before the test, you should be fine.
