Nassar is absolutely amazing in all regards. He even gives out candy to students who participate in class. He cares deeply about his students and even goes out of his way to prepare comprehensive review packages that are really useful. A prime example of what other professors should strive to be.

He wants you to learn and not just pass the course, that is what I love about professor nassar.

This man is simply the best ECE prof I have had in tron! Makes me want to show up to class and made me passionate about the material. Knows so much about everything and has real world examples as well. His lectures are a pleasure, and so much knowledge is condensed in one place. And honestly, even if I'm behind a couple classes I always learn smth!

Prof. Nassar is a real gem at the University of Waterloo. Out of all my years as a student here, he is the only one who actually cares for the class. He gave us his cell number so we could text him any questions we had (he even responded to me at 3 in the morning). His exams can be tough, but they are certainly fair. He deserves a teaching award!

I'm not even religious, but I believe this man was sent from god himself to teach this course, he is all around a great and caring professor, his gives his cell phone number to his students to ask questions 24/7 and hosts helping sessions every week, and posts all of his notes on Learn. UW is absolutely lucky to have this guy here.

I demand to have this prof next term. IDC if the department has to bend over backward or not. His structured organized lectures make it so that even being half asleep in class can still make you learn a lot. If you actually do your work, this class is a lot of fun. It's lit!

Absolutely brilliant professor

Absolute legend. He cares, makes everything fair, asks to be texted for help, lots of review sessions and great TAs. You could mistake the class for being easy, but it must be because he is so good and organized.

Nassar is a real gem, my buddy got 3/4 questions on the midterm WRONG and still part-marksed his way to a 72. He has a hotline that you can text come exam time if you have any more questions about the material and holds extra help sessions every other week or so. His exams are fair and genuinely wants you to pass.

Perhaps the best professor of 2A. Professor Nasser will do everything and anything possible to make sure that the class has understood the concept, and will cover practical examples with multiple cases. In the end, the exam, and the course itself are very fair. If anything, he deserves a tenure with the University as a permanent lecturer!

Nassar is the best! He prints out class notes for everyone so that we can focus on the lectures rather than worry about writing notes. His papers are very practical and good testers

There are good professors who has the talent to make hard contents simple to understand, there are good professors who will try hard to make sure every student understands the thing he is teaching and nobody is left behind. But Prof. Nassar cannot be graded by this standard. Because he is both and he is beyond good.

Literally the best Professor Ive had at this school

By far the best Professor I have had since 1A. Prof. Nassar genuinely cares about the fact that you score the highest grade possible, and learn all concepts. A lot of practice problems, along with possible permutations are covered during lecture time, as well as extra help sessions prior to midterm and final.

Nassar the mango mans! Amazing prof, put so much effort into making things easier for us. The midterm was really easy for our class but we all got destroyed by the final. My advice is to not be fooled by the easy midterm, it gets harder afterwards!

Nassar goes the extra mile when it comes to helping students. He ran weekly help sessions with timbits, gave handouts to the class, and was clear on what content would be on the midterm and final. However, he was always late to lectures and help sessions, and he frequently makes mistakes in class and in the solutions. Overall, the class enjoyed him

The only professor I have had that genuinely cares that everyone passes the course. I hope he keeps this effort because it would be a shame for other classes to not get this same spirit he gave us.

Somehow manages to make mechs like circuits. He is absolutely hilarious, always makes sure we understand, and the exams are fair to the course content.

He does everything he can to not only help you get a good grade (help sessions, exam prep packages, etc) , but make sure you are actually learning all the knowledge of the course. Nassar is a legend and easily one of the favourite profs of the class. He puts 200% into the courses he teaches and making sure that every student succeeds. He has tons of extra practice for students and runs weekly helping sessions. His lectures are informative and he clearly outlines what to expect for exams. Lots of opportunities for grades.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had! He is very knowledgeable about the topic and you can tell he actually cares about his students understanding the concepts. He is a great professor. Despite the adjustments made to the material in order to facilitate the course online, the content was not lacking from any aspect. He ensured that each student understood the material fully and takes feedback from students very seriously.

Professor Nassar always goes above and beyond to help all of the students pass. He's scheduled in a ridiculous amount extra help sessions outside of lecture/tutorial/lab time just to review concepts and go through examples for us students in preparation for quizzes and exams. I found this class to be difficult, but professor Nassar gives lots of opportunities for marks/ part marks on deliverables. Probably the most caring prof I've had, although some content may be difficult he really wants you to succeed. <3

Never in my life have I understood circuits so well. He puts in extra effort to provide review that isn't required, just to make sure we all understand everything to the best of our abilities. His explanations are clear as distilled water and he uses great analogies, videos, and real-world examples to make the theory seem easy.

However, Nassar blessed us with a makeup quiz that helped bump my midterm grade to around a passing grade. He is incredibly accessible, and makes learning fun. Circuits in my opinion is a difficult course, but Nassar truly makes it enjoyable and easier. Great professor who takes a lot of time and effort to teach his students. Would often hold help sessions and mock exams if requested or if he notices students struggling with certain topics. Very kind and humble, always ready to help anyone and is great at breaking down the material to make it easy for anyone to understand.

This professor cares so much about his students. When we didn't do so well at midterms, he told our class "When you fail, I fail". He then proceeded to host weekly help sessions outside of class hours to walk through previous exams, and was reachable at all odd hours to help us with our final programming project. He made 1A less overwhelming.
