This instructor is a must have. He spends a lot of time explaining and teaching. He gives review tests before every test then goes over those before the actual test. Math is not my forte and this is the second time I've taken this class. My first time I had to drop because my average was a 42%. Took Saberi, final grade was a 'B'.

I took this professor for math 1314 and math 1325. He is very good and definitely knows his stuff. However, if you want to do well in his class, you do have to study. He also goes very fast so you have to learn to keep up. Overall, he's very good, and his techniques to solve the problems are great!

Took him this for Summer 1 this summer. He explains the problems clearly and step by step. You need to come to his class everyday though you will miss a lot if u miss even one class. He is not understanding and would publicize whatever you tell him in privacy to all the other students. Prof. Saberi was a really good math teacher. He teaches very clearly but also very fast. If you're not that great at math you might have a much tougher time understanding him. He shows you shortcuts and only teaches you important lessons. He is kinda rude sometimes though when he calls people out, but that's only if you get an F on a test.

Mr S. is a great teacher. He explains problems very well and uses many examples. However if he feels you are not putting forth your best effort he will be VERY rude to you and may kick you out of class(happened to some guy once) Has a slight accent but he is understandable. He tells funny jokes at times which keeps students interested. TAKE HIM!

One of the best math teachers at HCC ever!!! He is very passionate about his job and he takes it very seriously. He can be very intimidating on the first day but don't let that bother you because he is funny and a joker when you get used to him. He basically does the test reviews for you detail by detail. Saberi is the best teacher in HCC. If you do not understand Math or any type of subject he will teach it to you so clearly that you will end up knowing it forever. Unfortunately the downside of Saberi's classes is that there is NEVER room. So pick his class early and make sure you pay for that class before they drop you.

Took 5 wk summer class, so it moved quickly. He explains things mathematically and not always in a common sense way. He did about 15 examples per section. Gives practice test for each test and final and reviews it if there are any questions. Take notes how he writes on board. Do homework and study notes. You don't need book, just MyMathLab. Easy A.

Probably one of the best math teachers I have had a Houston Community College. He moves along fast, but he explains the directions carefully.

This class is very easy IF YOU JUST STUDY. The final was questions from the review/past tests with different numbers and scenarios of course. I would HIGHLY recommend this teacher for ANY math class he offers! If you do all his math homework, you receive an extra 20-25 points on the 450 point scale he used for us.

He's a really good teacher. Can come off rude to people, but I think(deep down) he cares. In my class, he made 25 homework handouts so we wouldn't need to buy the book or Web Assign. This is my 5th attempt at Algebra & Mr. Saberi has helped me make sure this is the last time I take it. He breaks everything down perfectly without a book. There is a lot of homework but it's not compulsory to do it, if you do it though, you get extra credit.

Prof. Saberi is excellent, love his teaching style, you can tell he cares. I had him for two classes and refuse to enroll in any other math class. He is a very thorough professor that actually teaches the subject. You will have to earn your grade, but you will walk away from his class feeling educated, like your actually received your money's worth

He's the best math professor ever! He has patience and explains over and over till you understand. Homework is mandatory. If you don't, you will get one grade lower. The tests are similar to review. He doesn't like lazy people or shows up late in class and he will mean them but if you want to understand math, take his class. He will care you.

Saberi is an amazing professor. I have him for Statistics, and he makes the course very easy to learn. He goes over everything many times to make sure you understand what he is doing. You need a textbook to pass the class, because he works problems from the book in class. Hope this review helped.

If you don't mind taking notes the whole lecture, go for it! Trust me you will actually learn in this class. Tests are easy if you pay attention in class, and go over your notes. Boring but a Phenomenal teacher when it comes to knowledge.

Saberi is a great math professor. After a 13 year gap between math classes, he was able to get my brain back in gear. He will stay after and answer questions. Take notes entire class period and do the homework. Practice is key in math. I wish I could take him for next math I need.

Professor Saberi is very clear in the way he teaches. Wouldn't have wanted any other teacher for Stats. I took the Summer 1 course, so it was super fast. As a person who doesn't enjoy math, he made it understandable for me. Gives homework which isn't mandatory but will give you extra points if you do it. Reviews exactly like tests.

Fantastic lectures, very easy to follow since he goes through every step of each problem and even gives problems in class to check progress. He is fast so keep up. tests are similar to the reviews which is great for studying. Extremely organized on normal and test days, never really behind, so show up for class. you will have hw due at the end.

Amazing professor! Statistics is easy compared to other math courses and with him, even better. Funny, offers extra credit, do homework for 28 ec points due at the end of semester, study his exam reviews because it will be very similar to all exams and show up to class because lots of notes will be taken! You will be lost if you don't. Take him!

One of the best professors i have taken so far. Grade consists of 3 exams and a final. He gives out helpful reviews which are the same as the tests. Gives out homework for every lecture which is optional but counts for extra credit. Take him you wont regret it.

Mr. Torki is a great teacher. He teaches everything in depth and nothing is left in question when you come to all classes and do all the HW. Test are literally like the review so make sure you do them. Unfortunately he had to surgery and left us with a terrible sub for a month, ruining my A, It's def not his fault, would def take him again.

professor saberi is one of the best math teachers i ever had, to take this class you have to have good knowledge with college algebra, he explains very well and clearly, he has many example, get ready to write. however if you dont know the basics , you wont catch up, he moves pretty fast. 3 exams 1 final Comp . exam is exactly a as the review.

Like any summer class, lectures were fast-paced bc it's only 4-5 weeks. However, he clearly explains each topic & provides many practice problems in lectures. There's weekly extra credit opportunities. Hw is a lot but doable. He doesn't trick you on exams bc you're fine if you study the review. Provides many resources, very organized!

I love this professor. Definitely a great guy and would recommend him to anyone, he genuinely cares and will work out multiple problems to make you fully understand the lesson. Tests are exactly like reviews and don't have any confusing questions. Majority of your grade though. Genuinely one of the best professors you'll encounter.
