Seems to pride self on being difficult with some questions. Too easy in general

I don't know, ask MSDN it has all the answers...

I couldn't finish the rating because I wasn't given enough time
Possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. I wish I could get my tuition back.

I liked Mohd.., covered HTML well.

He is an instructor with his own agenda and marks accordingly
Knowledgeable Professor.
ya right
good job, yogi bear! I like Mohd
Ditto with the un-happy faces
print alot of notes , cause you'll be lost listening to his lectures
Worst Teacher Ever. I'm stupider for having taken his class. Lectures were incoherent. We knew more about the content than he did, more often than not.
He can barely speak English. I got an impression that he Doesn't know his stuff. Nobody else I know (in that class) liked him, his personality or his teaching style. What's up with the positive comments?!? It is possible that Mohd submitted these comments himself.
Very knowlegeable, helpful and cares about his student interests
worst csom instructor ever
He's a good teacher, for being a Computer science/ csom teacher and teaching tourism students.
if you take his class , get ready to print his notes cause you wont understand a word he's saying
HARD TESTS, easy assignments... doesnt teach at all! print off his notes..!!
This course is really unhelpful. You don´t need to attend clases nor by the book. Take it online and in 10 days you´re done. Very, very boring. He just reads the power point every class, but you can study the powerpoints from home
What a waste of time, a second year HTML course in a comp sci associate's degree what a JOKE. and he knows it, that's why he's taking it out on us. HE DOESNT DO WHAT WE PAY HIM FOR! VVV >.< @
Horrible. Just horrible...
He is good!
Wonderful guy and knows how to keep the students awake. He is funny guy and doesn't make the course boring by just reading the powerpoint or the book. He teaches extra stuff that is not related directly to the cours but veryyyyyyyyy helpful and interested to know. Has tons to knowledge about the computer and is always willin to help.
HE IS THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!! In his case "those who can't do teach" is correct. He doesn't even know the material. If you want to learn then you have to do it yourself. Hope that you have smart classmates because that is the only way you will know if he is really teaching you the right information. He deserves all 0's!!
if you take his class , get ready to print his notes cause you wont understand a word he's saying
He's a good teacher, for being a Computer science/ csom teacher and teaching tourism students.
Unbelievably bad.
HARD TESTS, easy assignments... doesnt teach at all! print off his notes..!!
He is helpful because he prepares very clear outline and powerpoint for each class. Also he helps to review after each chapter. Actually, He is a very patient instructor as well.
Awesome guy with tons of knowledge about computer things. Never made me fall asleep in the class. He is really funny as well. One of my favorite teacher i ever had.
Worst teacher i ever had, He doesnt teach anything in class... Test are hard.... Well atleast hes a nice guy...
If you like 1hr dry powerpoint slides, this is the class for you
His lectures'r quite dry, but his test and marking are really ok, I got the first place in last winter ^_^!
I definately did not enjoy his classes, and had to struggle to stay awake. He has dry powerpoint slides that he zooms thru and wants you to teach yourself on your own time. Will not help with most questions. If you like to teach yourself from your text you will like this class.
this guy is the biggest **** ever! if possible don't take his classes!!!!
Wow. Would u like some Ppt slides with ur lectures? Very funny and down to earth guy, but he is a lazy teacher. U learn to teach urself a lot though, and if you work at it, you can do extremely well. Tests are predictable and easy... simple marker! Final project is very unrelated to course. Labs are kind of interesting though.
wow! I think I went to less than half of his classes and labs and still managed to get an A! Very easy prof! going to the lectures are a waste of time, just look through the ppt slides, textbook, and online quizzes, and you'll do great! Bonus, bring up yoga in class and he'll be your bestfriend!!!
Good and happy teacher
Great guy when you're not worried about being graded but, all in all, a shody prof. Not helpful and difficult to follow during lectures. Avoid his classes and go with Brenda or Mila. :)
Honestly I think I attended 3 classes the entire semester and managed an A+! i also had to leave town before writing the final and he allowed me to write it 1.5 months after the class had ended!
nice guy , horrible teacher
This teacher is the worst teacher I have ever had. He is impossible to follow, rushes through everything and ask the most random questions on tests. There is no way to study, no way to prepare. When the class average is 40% I think there is a problem.
i liked mohd. he had a sense of humor and was fun, told a few jokes here and there, and his tests were eaaaasy!
Most useless teacher ever, his class was a phenomenal waste of time and money. He flew through the slides, and had us do tutorials from the text for the rest of the classes, which just told us exactly what to type/click the entire way through. Can't think of a better way to pay money to learn nothing aside from throwing it right in the trash bin.
He is out of this world
He only reads through the powerpoint slides and the textbook. Sometimes, his lectures are hard to understand. If you print out the powerpoint slides, read your textbook, and take notes, you will be fine in this course.
He is a terrible teacher but easy enough. He never knows much about the material hes teaching.
he is best
this teacher is just counting down the days till he retires, " working is what you do with your life, retirement is to follow your passion" srry everyone in that class has computers as their passion, try again! unfair, picks favourites, picks on students, and enjoys being an a$$!
Excellent instructor. Knows his material and treats students with respect.
Great instructor. Attend his classes and you will do well in your quiz and exams
Attend his classes and pay attention instead of surfing the web or doing other course material you will do well
Attend his classes and pay attention instead of surfing the web and you will do well.
Pay attention in class and you will do well.
you will full maybe full mark in the you assignments but, after midterm exam the class will be empty because most students will droop the course. I am taking this course ageing it needs you to study hard and be ready and understand so good
He is helpful and kind. He is not perfect, but he tries to help as possible as he can.
Pay attention in class, do your lab assignment and read the text book
DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS
I did well in his class because I read ahead in the textbook on my own time. He did a poor job of answering students' questions, so be prepared to self-teach yourself somewhat.
He will give you full assignments mark, 10 out of 10. I don't understand in the class so had to attend Bob class, both section. This my second time taking this course!
You have to be in attendance to follow his classes, then you will do well. Helpful and caring
If you come to class and do your work including all labs and assignments, you will do well. You have to put in effort. If you do he will go the extra mile to help you
Come to class, do your assignments, ask for help if unsure he will help and you will succeed. He makes you work hard but then you learn.
Attend his classes regularly, he takes attendance. Do your work on time. He will help you if you ask for help. You have to put in effort like anything else in life. He is kind and caring.
This is a basic excel course. The text is pretty straight forward. Tutorial and assignments need to be completed on time to get marks. He prepares self test questions for each tutorial and does reviews for final. He is kind and caring and helpful if you ask for help.
This is a web course. The textbook is clear, easy to follow. You need to be methodically in doing the tutorial and reviews and he will be very helpful to you if you need help. Taking shortcuts like doing the lab assignments without doing the tutorial will not be very welcoming with him. He is kind, helpful and caring.
You have to do your part in order to succeed. He will help you when you meet him half way. Bottom line is come to class, pay attention, ask for help, you will do well. He is kind, caring and helpful
I have learned lots in this class. Lots of material covered and the live web project with real clients was the best thing. Wish other instructors did the same rather than giving fictitious assignments where we don't get to interact with real clients. Lots of reading and every topic has a quiz, best way to learn. Kind and helpful.
Helpful provided you put in your time and effort. Fair enough. Kind, caring and will help you if you come to class, do your own work.
You have to come to class and pay attention. Live web projects with clients was a great thing I learned where I was able to apply knowledge gained from class room to an actual live web site. Helpful, caring and kind. Bottom line come to class and pay attention, do the lab assignments and there is a quiz at the end of each topic. Great guy!!
Second time taking this course. First time had an instructor who does not know how to explain. Mohd takes the time after class to explain difficult concepts if you are not able to understand in class. Kind, caring and have students interests in mind. One of the best instructors in the CS Dept

Great instructor I had so far at TRU. Knowledgeable, caring, warm and helpful. Take his class if you can.
The best CS instructor I had so far. Very pleasant, warm, caring and extremely helpful. However, you have to do your part by attending classes and doing your assigned work, which is fair.
I really enjoyed his class. Take his class if you can. You will definitely do well provided you do your part, come to class and do your assigned work. Great guy, pleasant, warm, caring and extremely helpful. He knows the subject matter very well.

Knows his stuff about HTML5 and CSS3. He also knows how to explain clearly.
Take his class if you can. Make sure you attend classes regularly and you will do well. Helpful and caring and willing to go the extra effort of making sure the class understands.
I enjoyed taking Mohd's class. He is a great instructor. His class was very well structured. One of the best classes I have taken thus far at TRU.
All I can say excellent.
Excellent, excellent, excellent instructor. Knows his stuff and more importantly knows how to teach well.
The best professor I have ever had. He enjoys teaching, is enthusiastic about the material and is clear about what is expected. If you can take any computer science courses with Mohd, do it! He is also incredibly approachable.

Excellent CS instructor and knows how to impart knowledge to others. Helpful, caring and very approachable. Take his class!!
He is a nice professor. Make sure you attend all of his classes if you need good marks. If you miss the class then nothing can save you.
Excellent CS Instructor. He knows how to teach the material well. Caring, helpful and understanding. Make sure you attend all classes and do the work and you will do well. Take his class.
One of the best computing classes I have taken at TRU. This professor knows how to present the material in a very simplified way so much so I understood databases concepts very well with no prior knowledge.
Well structured course and very well taught. Easy to follow his teaching. He knows how to present the material to the level of the students. I had no prior knowledge and I did exceptionally well in his class. Make sure you attend all his classes, do the assigned work and you will do well. I
Well structured course and very well taught. Easy to follow his teaching. He knows how to present the material to the level of the students. I had no prior knowledge and I did exceptionally well in his class. Make sure you attend all his classes, do the assigned work and you will do well.
The best CS instructor I had so far. Make sure you attend all of his classes if you want to get good marks. Well structured course. Excellent!!
First time taking a programming class. Mohd made the learning environment easy to understand and follow. It is a difficult course if you have not done any programming. You have to do your part, pay attention in class and be present for every class. Do your reading is equally important.
Fantastic prof. He's really easy going and is willing to give you a good mark if you put the effort in. He really enjoys making connections with his students. So be sure to do that! You'll do better in his course because of that.
The greatest Computer Science Prof I had at TRU. The best. Easy to understand and make sure you put in your effort and you will do well.
One of the best pro in Computing Science. Made the learning very easy for me to understand.
Very knowledgeable, helpful, caring and understanding CS faculty who engages student in learning. Enjoyed taking a class with him and certainly will do in any of the other courses he teaches. Mind you he takes attendance in every class and expects class participation which I had no problem at all. It improved my learning
It was a course well taught and explained. Also very well structured. Mohd ensure that everyone understands difficult Java concepts. Great prof.
Great prof. He's so understanding and really knows how to teach.
The best computing science prof I had at TRU. Wonderful personality, knows his subject material well and more importantly knows how to present the material in a meaningful and understandable manner. Take his classes if you can. He is also very helpful and caring
Mohd is an excellent computing science instructor. He knows the subject material very well. He also taught us latest HTML5, CSS3 and some cool JavaScript. Be prepare to do your own work if you want to earn a decent grade. Lots of reading and weekly assignments including a live web project with a real business. Mohd is kind and caring as well.
Learned lots of new stuff from Mohd in his web course. I was able to apply it to a real business in doing my final web project assignment. What a great way to network with businesses in this region. Great for international students to know local businesses.
Mohd knows the subject matter very well and more importantly was able to present the material to those who had no programming knowledge so well that overall I enjoyed the class in every aspect. You have to do your work in this course and come prepared for class in order to have a better understanding of the concepts taught during class.
I enjoyed the class lots with Mohd. He knows his subject material very well and knows how to present it to the level of students to understand. Helpful, caring and understanding prof.
Great prof to take his class of COMP 1130. I learned lots and with no prior knowledge of programming, I did well in his class. He is helpful, kind, caring and understanding. Having said that, he is particular about attendance, coming to class on time and submitting work on time which I believe is a good thing, otherwise why register for a class
One of the best prof I had at TRU. Learned lots, helpful, kind and caring. He takes attendance and is particular about punctuality which did not bother me
I learned a lot in Mohd's web class. However, be prepared to invest your time in his class as he covers a lot of material. Keep up with the readings, tutorial and review assignments and you will do well as long as you do your own work and study important concepts covered during class time. Don't skip his classes.
Attend all his classes, pay attention and listen when he explains concepts, do your work (very important), you will do well in Mohd's class. He is helpful, kind and understanding but don't expect to get a good grade if you are not committed to the work assigned. Lots of reading and weekly assignments and a huge web project with a real business.
The best instructor I've had, but don't expect easy classes. You must make an effort in attending classes, doing lab assignments on your own, committed to invested time and doing a decent web project with a real business you will do well. I enjoyed his Section 2 final exam as it was hands on, similar to lab and project. I learned lots!!
Mohd is an amazing professor. He is very helpful and the material you are graded on is what is actually learned in class. You need to buy the textbook though. Make sure you come to class because he deducts marks if you are not there!
An amazing professor I had so far at TRU. I was having difficulties at the beginning and Mohd motivated and helped in such a positive way that I did exceptional well in his course. Like the previous reviewer, he is strict about attendance and I had no issues about that, in fact I was in favor of Mohd taking attendance at every single class.
Mohd has been very helpful, caring and is there for us. Clearly explains concepts and is willing to invest time until students understand.
An amazing prof who helped me understand difficult concepts of programming. Make sure you attend his classes very regularly as he takes attendance.
I didn't really enjoy his classes. He reads from the book or slides. Tough test. I won't take courses with him in the future.
I enjoyed taking the web course. Most of all doing the web project with a real business. I learned lots by applying what he taught in class to a real business web project. Do not skip any of his classes and you will do well. As one reviewer said his tests are tough, that is because you were not paying attention. He gives plenty of tips.
I learned lots of new web stuff in Mohd's class. You need to be present for all of his classes in order to do well. I agree that his tests are tough. However, if you do not skip classes, you will greatly benefit on what to focus for the tests. Those who complain that his tests are tough is because they skip classes and are not responsible.
I enjoyed Mohd's class. He was very helpful, kind, caring and understanding. Just make sure you do not skip his classes, as you would have to spend more time figuring out what was discussed. Expect quizzes in most topics. Do not miss any of his labs nor be late.
I learned lots of good programming skills especially object oriented principles. Make sure you do not skip any of his classes. Be on time is also important. He is kind, helpful, caring and very understanding provided you do your part and participate in class. lab and seminar activities.
I enjoyed Mohd's game course especially building the final game project was a lot of fun and a great way to learn concepts taught in class. Expect to work in teams in this course and if you do not pull your weight, you will end up doing the project on your own which is very difficult. Mohd was knowledgeable, fair and very kind and understanding.
A fun and interesting game course taught by Mohd. Expect lots of work towards the completion of the final game project. I learned lots of stuff related to games and it definitely widen my knowledge of game design. Mohd was kind, caring and understanding. Make sure you do not miss a class nor miss any assignments.
One of the most enjoyable courses I have taken so far at TRU. Enjoyed building the game project with different milestone through a clear guided set of 12 team and individual assignments. Be prepared to do lots of home reading if you want to get a better grade. Don't miss a class nor fail to submit any assignments.
Enjoyed my first programming course with Mohd. Amazing personality who will help you to succeed provided you put in your share of effort and time towards the course. Attendance is mandatory for absolute success. With no prior programming knowledge I did extremely well. Do you best and Mohd will help you all the way to succeed.
Amazing prof, who cares and helps his students all the way. Make sure you put in your share of effort and be present for each and every lecture and lab. Great guy who has a great passion for what he does. I will definitely take another class with Mohd
Mohd knows the subject content and knows how to present difficult concepts very well. He is a great professor who is very passionate about the learning and success of his students. Mohd does a great job by providing lots of examples and study aids. Bottom line you have to put in your fair share of work to see results like anything else.
Mohd is a good professor. He is fair and honest and he knows what he's doing. He is a little vague in explaining certain things though, especially on tests. Sometimes you get questions where the wording is strange so you aren't sure what is expected. I took Java 1 with him, and I would take any other course he taught. Very good experience.
This was a one credit course, so literally there were no lectures, just labs. Mohd was always available during class time to help. He goes the extra mile to make sure students understand. He is fair, honest and approachable. Will definitely take another class with this professor.
Mohd was always available when I needed help. Being a one credit course, this class focus was on lab work only. Mohd listens to students feedback. Great professor and had a good experience taking a class with him. Will definitely take another class if the opportunity arises.
I enjoyed Mohd's class. He does an excellent teaching job. He uses the slides to reinforce the key concepts of each chapter. Very professional, helpful, kind and caring. Make sure you attend all classes if you want to do well. Very passionate in what he delivers.
Mohd's does his very best to explain game concepts. You need to work very hard with your team for the game project. Many students start the game project late or the team does not work hard as a team. Mohd's assignments are well organized and structured that helps drive the project. You need to do your work. Don't be fooled it is an easy class.
Mohd is a firm instructor when it comes to your learning and knows his subject matter well. You need to come to class and be an active participant if you want to do well. He is approachable and easy to talk to if you need help. Always willing to listen.
Mohd knows how to deliver COMP 1130 course material. He is structured, organized, well prepared and always available outside class to answer your questions. Take his class but remember to attend all of his classes. He is kind and caring.
Laziest course design I've ever encountered. Mohd barely puts in any works and expects his TA's to mark and supervise class. Didn't learn anything about the development of games despite developing a game being the main project. Tests are a jumble of fake English with no clear meaning. If you want to keep your sanity please skip this teacher.
I wasn't very good at programming and I found him kind of condescending when I didn't understand something. All-in-all, he seems to genuinely care whether or not his students learn the material. He has subtle jokes that seemed to go over most people's heads and uses a lot of class time to get people to practice instead of listening to him lecture.
Mohd's game class was fun and enjoyable. Although, with hardly any programming skills, I did pretty well in his class. The group project was challenging, however, Mohd worked hard to place students that had diversity of skill sets. Be prepared to work very hard in completing the project of the course, which is very heavily weighted.
Taking his course through distance learning was a breeze because of how supportive he was. The course itself was challenging and although outdated (university takes forever to approve changes to course), Mohd was able to direct me to the right resources to keep my skills up-to-date. Very quick marker and very quick in responding to questions.
Read the textbook. Especially the chapter review.
I found Mohd's web class very well laid out and structure. Those of you are unhappy it is because you do not pay attention when he is teaching. He uses the book in conjunction with online resources. A great prof and knows his subject matter. Very kind, approachable and always willing to help.
It was an enjoyable class to study web design with Mohd. I liked the fact it did not have any mid term nor final exam. It is purely based on continuous assessment (quizzes and tests ) spread out evenly throughout the semester. Do your work continuously and you will do well. Very well structured and laid out. Textbook used was a good choice!
Mohd seems like a nice person, outside of class. However, during class, I found his lectures to be sub-par at best. All the knowledge I've obtained, during this course, was purely from the textbook. He relies heavily on the textbook and never appears to deviate from it. The power slides are also taken from the textbook; no original work from prof.
I had an excellent experience in this class. The text book used was very well tailored and it progress slowly to more difficult topics. Each topic helps you to create a mini web site. The project with a real business was an excellent feature of this course which I learned lots by integrating stuff from the class. Other resources were also used.
Mohd's web class was easy to follow and understand. I was new to web technology and his way of delivery and structure of the course was excellent. I enjoyed the format of the class. No exams, purely based on continuous assessment, real client web project and about 5 assignments. For those who are unhappy, is because you guys skip classes.
Awesome professor. Just dont skip classes and you good. People be trippin and complaining bout his exams but honestly they all pretty easy , just do the assignments and you should be good.
i enjoyed Mohd's web class very much. Very engaging, hands on, practical, included new HTML5 and CSS3 stuff. Come to class, do the work, complete the assignments, study for his quizzes and tests (he helps you to pass by emphasizing key points just before the test/quiz date), and complete the real small business web site, and you will do well.
Mohd's teaches the fundamental concepts of game design quite well. He emphasizes key points in class. He provides lots of additional material and I enjoy the group work done in class. A great way to reinforce concepts taught in class. Overall a great class and I got to make some simple games using Game Maker.
Mohd was very inspirational in my Java class. I learned lots and he pushed me to do well. I am glad I had him as a prof in my Java class. Learned lots of programming concepts. He provided lots of guidance and study aids. Be prepared to work hard though.
Mohd is an energetic, inspirational and approachable professor I have had since I have been at TRU. So if you guys are whining and complaining is because you probably do not know your basic stuff. A fast paced course. Read the book, come to class on time, do the work on your own, how is it not possible to do well in his class.
Mohd's web class was enjoyable with mention made to current technologies where possible. Lots of info, material to read and go through. Stay ahead, come to class, listen, do the work and you will do well just like me. Course is mainly base on continuous assessment which was a plus. Nothing to cramp at the end of the semester. Enjoy his class.
Don't expect to learn anything that isn't in the book.
Gives practise midterms and quizzes that have no relevance to actual testing. The tests don't evaluate how well you understand the language or core concepts, but how well you can memorize useless facts from the textbook. Gives no time to finish lab in class and will fail you if you can't finish more than one in class time.
Those that are unhappy with Mohd's teaching obviously do not put in the effort and the work and expect to be given credit. Mohd is very reasonable and understanding. He was strict for the labs primarily a good number were copying labs during lab classes when he was giving out labs in advance. I enjoyed Mohd's class and I actually learned.
You will basically learn from the book, and test how well you learned in-class during labs or quizzes, you don't really need to be in-class unless you really don't understand the labs or quizzes as there isn't much teaching in-class we just looked at powerpoints based off the books, not a great prof but I wouldn't say he's bad either.
Mohd's Java class was easy to follow. It is a programming language class, so in order to grasp the fundamentals, come to class to learn. His pace of delivery was good. Made us do the lab assignments on our own for the most part. A good thing to build confidence for the final exam. Inspirational and motivating prof. Very encouraging as well!
Mohd's Java class was very well structured sand organized. I came with no programming background. With hard work and his guided study aids I did very well in his class. Mohd was always inspirational and motivating. Yes he made sure we did the work especially the lab assignments during lab time to ensure no one was cheating. Learned lots!
He's an excellent lecture I've ever seen. His training look like a army training :). Without his commands you cannot learn the Java or any language. Every day, every time he ask students to practice. That was true. Thank you Sir for excellent lecture.
Very heavy on terminology. But you know your stuff after you finish the course with him.
Prepare to teach yourself via W3Schools. The textbook is only for assignments.
I learned lots in Mohd's web design course. I am really enjoying building a web site as a final project in his class for a real client. Further, I prefer the continuous ongoing assessments instead of having to write a huge mid term and a final exam. Be prepared to come to class and class participation is key in his class.
His class is based mainly on the text you will get at the beginning of the year. Going to class will be learning the same stuff from the book by looking at W3C examples. The course is easy enough IF you do your tutorial assignments and Mohd is a nice professor but this felt like a course you could do online.
Awesome: I went into this course with no idea about web technologies. I ended up developing a web site for a real client. Thank you Mohd for a great course. Also, the course is based on continuous assessment instead of writing huge midterm or final exams. Great prof and caring and understanding towards students.
If you come to class and be attentive, you will do well in Mohd's class. The pace is fast and you have to keep up with the readings and the hands on tutorial. Do not copy your code from other students, which Mohd will detect pretty quickly . Do your work, stop complaining, come to every class and you will do well in his class.
Mohd's web class was very informational, well balanced and with a good to moderate speed of delivery. At the end of the course, I was able to design, create and develop a web site for a small business given the concepts covered in his class. Do the work, come to class regularly, prepare for the quizzes, tests and assignments and you will do well.
Mohd's web class was an eye opener which actually I am thankful. With the knowledge gained, I am presently a web developer for a small business in town. Thanks to Mohd for being an inspirational prof. Come to class, do the work assigned, do the readings and you will do well just like I did.
Mohd is one of the most interesting professors at tru. His lectures are engaging and compelling and he pushes you to learn on your own. If you're respectful and trying your best Mohd will go the extra mile to help you get to an answer on your own. If you're looking to actually learn, take his classes. If you're looking for an easy credit, do not.
Mohd's Programming methods class was a class that I learned both Python and C#. In his class, be prepared to come to class on time regularly, listen attentively and work along the examples he goes over in every class. You will do well. However, if you are seeking an easy way out without much effort, you will not do well.
I enjoyed Mohd's web design class a lot. Went in with no idea about the web. At the end I was able to create a web project for a business that was functional within the context of the course. Quizzes and assignments were fair and some of these required researching which I found beneficial to learn more than what was expected.
I actually learned much more in Mohd's class compared to the first time I took this class with a different prof. Mohd tries his best to explain concepts clearly. However, make sure you do not skip any classes. He is fair, caring and helpful. Remember you have to do your part and work hard in this class.
His personality is the worst. Many in class had a hard time with his requests & lecture due to his terrible ability of communication & writing. Despite that he like to think himself the best, threat giving 0 and frequently mocking some of the student during online class (DISGUSTING). The class make me wonder if he even had a real website dev job.
Those that are complaining about his online course most probably are either not present for most classes and not attentively listening to his teaching and instructions. I had not problems in his web class. Came in with no background and I am super happy to have finished well with a project completed for a small business. Pay close attention!
Mohd's class was a great class. Despite being an online class, his instructions were clear. His labs and tests were challenging, however, if you know your work you should have no problem. Do the work, come to class, pay attention and you will do well in Mohd's class. Knowledgeable and inspirational.
First time taking a programming course. Mohd's presented the concepts very clearly with lots of examples. Very helpful during lab classes and took the time to reinforce concepts during lectures. I will definitely take classes with Mohd in the future. Final assignment was challenging as it involved many concepts. Overall good experience!
Make sure you don't skip classes and all would be good. He takes time to explain concepts in relation to web applications and he is knowledgeable. Honestly, I found his tests, quizzes and assignments easy despite the fact I had very little knowledge about web design. My advise, do the work, don't skip classes, listen and you should do well.
This was my first programming course and I was forced to get knowledge based on udemy courses.
Does not teach anything that is used practically. All you have to study is from the book and that's it. Just goes through the examples and that's it, his job is finish.
Horrible, do not take.
He is not at all friendly . He sets the test to the hardest level . Atleast he should set a test based on all students capabilities. I would never want to attend his class again
PROS: At first, he can seem pretty intimidating but if you spend 10 minutes talking to the man you'll realize he's really got a heart of gold. If you put in the effort, and you don't cheat you'll get a good mark. CON: Some of his material is a bit outdated and his tests can focus heavily on memorizing terminology rather than practical programming.
I learned lots of new web stuff. I actually had no prior knowledge before taking his class. I have now completed a web project for a real business. Those of you are unhappy about his teaching probably are not investing enough time in his course. He is super helpful, approachable and his grading is fair. Do the work and you will do well.
I enjoyed Mohd's Java class. Yes you have to put in your effort and do the work assigned and you will actually learn lots and be knowledgeable in the fundamental concepts of Java programming. He is helpful and will take the time to explain fundamental concepts which to me are the building blocks. I learned lots in his class.
He allows for no corrections on online tests (forward through test only). Tests/Quizzes are great if you like memorizing trivia. His class is too stressful to recommend. If he'd let up on the exam format, he'd be fine.
Great way to learn how to design and build a website from the grounds up. I enjoyed designing and creating a web site for a business all through the knowledge gained from this class. Going through the concepts within the code examples was a great way to learn web design instead of the power point. Assignment on animation was fun!
Online tutorials seem more educational than his lectures. His websites are obsolete. He accused the whole class of plagiarism, although he himself said to copy the head from the tutorial
Mohd is an amazing professor. Invest your share of time and effort and you will absolutely do well. I came into the class with no web knowledge. I have a sense of achievement as I was able to design a website for a local business. Give him the respect. Cheaters/Slackers beware! Stop complaining and do the work.
He's quite tone-deaf, no matter the situation whether you have a choice or not, any alternative will be better. He can't really relate well enough with the students to keep the class engaged and interested in the topics taught. Easy course but with him my failure was inevitable. Don't be like me and do more research to avoid teachers like him.
He ruined my first semester .
To do well in this class, you have to be very attentive during class, seminars and labs. Those that are complaining are usually hoping to get a decent grade in Mohd's class without actually doing much work. COMP 1130 is a tough course. Put in the hard work, dedication and investment of time and you will learn and do well. Mohd was very helpful.
He give very little time for quizzes. The quiz question is too long to read. Quiz don't really test you with do you understand the material, rather do you memorize the material which is awful. He gives quiz questions like, ask you what will be the return value for the build in function which is meaningless. It's like test you on documentation.
Bad bad bad bad bad bad teacher and you can receive nothing just strict format
Mohd is very passionate about his teachings. He wants the best for his students. You have to come to class and pay attention. Read the material ahead of class. Do the tutorial and the review assignments as assigned. Then you will do well. Whiners -- Stop complaining. Mohd is very helpful provided you put in your share of work.
Mo is great. If you complete what he asks, you will succeed. If you can't complete what he asks, let him know and he will get you there.
My biggest complaint is the difficulty of the mid term and final were much higher than any of the assignments, quizzes or labs covered in class. Most of the learning I got out of this course was on my own time. If you put in lots of time outside of class studying the tests are a good indicator of your understanding though. He cares about students.
Mohd cares about the learning of his students. Don't skip classes, bottom line. Not everything is in the slides. He does provides lots of examples. Need to devote & dedicate time for your learning if you want to do well. Exams are challenging. The pace is fast if you had no prior programming experience. No regrets as having Mohd as my prof.
If you wanna pass, DO NOT ever take his class. He loves giving low grades. He has a strong accent that you will not understand nothing. Watching YouTube is more valuable than attending his class.
R.I.P Mohd. I Only had you for just over half a semester before these unfortunate circumstances. You were a tough grader but I liked that because it challenged us to do our best. You were a smart, kind man. Im honored to have been a pupil of yours. Let your last review be a good one. It would have been a good one anyways. R.I.P
Abdullah was a good professor and extremely passionate about the courses he taught. I had so much to learn from him. RIP.
Pretty solid teacher. Sometimes the lectures can feel pretty long due to boring lectures.
