Great professor. He may be a little hard to understand at first, but he's a pretty funny guy. His tests are VERY easy, especially if you do the chapter worksheet.

This professor was great. He was an easy going professor and made the class fun. His style of teaching is the best I have ever had. He would go over a few definitions then apply them right away to problems. Would highly recommend!!!

What tremendous asset to have if you are Mathematically Challenged! A must have for math classes for Business Majors for he will give the tools needed to SUCCESSFULLY pass all your tests! One of the best Professor that I had at C.S.U. a true All Star in my book.

Highly recommend! He jokes around during class to lighten the mood, makes everything easy to understand. I didn't open my textbook once! He gives study guides and review sessions if needed. Coming to class is a must! Doesn't take attendance but might give credit for attending regularly and showing dedication to his class. :)overall great guy!

(No Text Book)I had dropped Calc many times - This was the BEST. He is very clear, the HW is extremely tough but he's fair with deadlines. Don't miss class - you learn 100% in his class and not from the online text. Prompt with returning grades and reviewing material. Great Prof would take again!

What a great guy! I struggled with the format of the class but he didn't have any say in the curriculum and I feel that he was very flexible given the situation. Really helpful and friendly.

He is one of the most helpful instructors I have ever had. I took this class as a refresher and I did not need much help, but for the people who needed the help he was awesome. I recommend this instructor to anyone. I am taking two more classes with him this coming semester.

Best math professor ever. Hilarious and cracks jokes in class. Really wants his students to do well and helps them out a lot if needed. He responds to emails promptly if you have questions and will meet with you for extra help. I highly dislike math and was not looking forward to his class but am glad I took him. HIGHLY recommended.

He is an excellant teacher. He is funny. I took an online class and he would record lectures, etc. He will respond to emails promptly. Great and patience instructor. If you can take him, DO IT!!!

Great Instructor! Really enjoys teaching and it shows. He's very flexible about assignments and exam, plus he provides a great study guide for test.

He is completely awesome! Dropped the class the previous semester with a different prof because I was failing due to the prof not explaining anything. He assumed we already knew it all. Than took it with Prof Manoucheri and ended up getting an A-. He explains how to do it in such a way that a actually makes sense. He also records his review sessions on a special program and posts them to blackboard so that you can go over them as much as you need.

Very nice and entertaining guy. Very good sense of humor and is easy going. Goes over sample tests with multiple varieties of problem that make the tests an easy a if you study the problems.

After many years out of school I was nervous to take Algebra all over.But I LOVED! this class. I wish I had him in high school. Maybe I would have done better. The best tip: GO TO CLASS, DON'T BE LATE.

Great teacher!!! I can honestly not say the material was easy, but the way he taught it made it seem like it was. I passed both classes with an "A" and I am not a math person at all.

The best teacher at CSU

One of the best instructors in the CSU and when he sees you working hard he will work and help you. You will love his class because he cares about his students. like you If you can take a class with him.

Easily one of the best instructors I've had. He really tries to help you understand and will adjust the homework due dates if he feels the class needs more time. He is very fair with grades and as long as you show work, he will give partial credit. I took him for 148 and am currently taking him for 149.

I took him last semester in class and made it my business to take him this semester! I had to go online this time, but he even offered the opportunity to come to his Saturday classes even if you took the class online! A great guy and a class act. Flexible, fair, and a great professor all in one. Just be punctual. Again, an all around great guy!

Loved him!! I took his class online but had to go in for exams. He is very helpful and super fair. There was a lot of homework but the exams were pretty easy, just go over the sample exam. I definitely recommend him.

One of the best math professors I've had. He's very helpful, explains things well. Book wasn't necessarily needed, but you need the code for the website you use for homework. He's available for extra help if you want to go onto campus. Follow his practice exams and you'll be golden for tests.

Wonderfully friendly the few times I met him while taking tests! The material is laid out clearly and if you do your homework you will be 100% prepared for the test, which are short and much much easier than most of the homework. No tricks, just reasonable straightforward questions. This has been the best math course I've ever taken!

Mr. Mohsen is an amazing professor! I'm terrible at math, yet he explained math to me that made it way more interesting. If you take it online, show up to his math emporium sessions. He's always there and will help you, no matter how stupid the question. He knew me by name after my first exam. You'll thank yourself for taking his class.

One of the Best Professors in CSU. He really cares about his students and his online class is really helpful and easy. He gives sample exams before each exam and tests have similarities with exams. He is amazing person. You do not need the textbook, he gives all the solutions for each chapter.

I took it online and at first I was nervous about the class (and this is coming from some one that is A+ student in math). But seriously though he is amazing and has a great, laid back personality. This class can be challenging if you are not good at math compared to math 149. There are 3 tests and final, 7 quizes (2 lowest droped).

Took this class online and it was pretty easy. We used math labs plus to do our homework and quizzes on. The only downside is that you have to go to the school to take the tests. The final exam can replace one of your lower test, 2 lowest quizzes dropped and 5 lowest homeworks dropped. The prof. is really nice and gives sample exams similar to test

Took MTH87 as a refresher course, as I had been out of school for a while, and Prof Mohsen did not disappoint. Super nice and helpful. Very laid back. Clear expectations. He was always prompt and he made sure that there were always enough TAs around so that each student got one-on-one time each class. I wish he taught higher level classes!

Tied for the top professor I have ever had, is there for you if you need him. very nice, and fun to talk to, made my time in this course enjoyable. I absolutely would recomend him as a must take for MTH 149.

As others mentioned, this professor truly cares about his students. Would always see him around campus and he would strike up a conversation and tell me if I needed help to let him know. Go to class and try your best and he will meet you half way. Wish we had more professors like him.

Professor Manoucheri is a wonderful professor i had him in both mth 87/mth 116 & in each class he was delightful!!! Professor Manouchehri knows the material & cares about his students. His class was not hard but you had to be in class and show Professor Manouchehri that you wanted to pass! By far one of THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER at CSU!!!! Take him!

Awesome teacher moves a little fast as the semester picks up but will slow down and explain if needed. Has a good sense of humor also.

Great professor! He is very passionate about teaching the material in a way that makes sense to everyone and will explain it in many different ways. The homework is all online and due once a week.

He's awesome. A real gem. I hate math and he made it easy to understand. always a smile on his face. if you don't understand the criteria in class, just go to the math center the day before the exam , and you should be gucci. do the homework or you won't pass! (symbolab is clutch)

Professor Manouchehri is a great guy! He genuinely cares about his students and how they are doing. He curves most of his tests. Almost every quiz is online and can be taken twice. Keep up with the assignments or it will be a nightmare trying to catch back up.

Great professor! I took math 149 online as a blended course and it was the best decision! Although he was teaching an online course he was very attentive and everything is very clear! Calculus is very hard in general but Prof Manouchehri helps out as much as he can and does whatever he can to have his students pass!! Highly recommend taking him

I took his online 8-week class after not taking a math class in years. Talk about a crash course in Calculus. He genuinely prepares you for his tests, so run through the sample exams/practice problems till you've got it down. He's a warm guy who believes in his students, and I wish all STEM professors were like him. You will not regret his class.

Math was NEVER one of my good subjects. Needless to say I was extremely nervous to take this class, especially online. Professor Manouchehri works with you. If you need time and tell him you are having problems with the work, he will extend the homework and make sure to answer your concerns. Learn the Homework, and exam prep and you're good to go!

Professor Manouchehr is the best professor I have had. I took this class online due to COVID and was nervous I couldn't teach this to myself. His lectures are a life saver. He goes over homework problems and teaches very well. He provides practice exams with solutions. His tests are exactly like the practice test! Best professor out there!!!

His online classes are not the best. He doesn't really teach so its more you teach yourself. However, you can always schedule a zoom meeting with him and he is more than happy to help you. He wants his students to succeed. He gives extra credit and he is not a tough grader. He also uses respondus for his exams

He goes through each homework problem in lecture so you know exactly how to do it. He gives a sample exam and also puts out a video of solutions for that practice exam. Exams are very very similar to the practice exam. As long as you watch the lecture videos and do the practice exams youll get an A

Best professor I have ever had. He is so caring and makes sure you are well prepared for tests and quizzes. Very understanding and gives you extensions on anything you need and has a zoom available if you need to miss the class for a legitimate reason. Homework can be a bit tedious but manageable. if I could give a 10/5 I would!

The best at his job.

For half this class we were in person and the other half we went remote because of COVID. In person and remotely he was a great professor. I had health issues going on and was missing classes but was still doing the homework and he was very understanding and caring about it. He cares about his students.

The class was so easy. It was just mathxl and 15 question tests about the material.

Love Mohsen. He's a great teacher but he is also very understanding and takes the time to make sure his students understand the material. Wish classes weren't 2 hours long 3x a week but it makes it better with a professor like Mohsen. If you don't do well in this class it's because you don't attend. Not because of the teacher.

The best professor from math, he gives four exams which just ten problems, homeworks and quizzes are all online. Show up to class do the problems with him and you will do just fine.
