Is very knowledgeable and has very clear slides that she uploads for you to refer to later. Open book tests. You need to be very specific with your answers and even when you are specific if it does not match her answers you lose marks. Could be condescending at times. Very nice person and easy to listen to.

She was a lovely teacher, the grading was a little hard to get used too but after you do it is very rewarding. Loved the class.

Moira is a good professor and the material she teaches is not too hard. She often do small quizzes instead of big tests (fairly easy and usually open book) but she is a very tough grader. It is almost impossible to get 100% on a project, she will take off points for stuff that was not clear or even mentionned in the assignment instructions.

very tough grader, after i asked for clarity on multiple assignments (because her explanations were very unclear) i left feeling completely stupid, almost in tears. she rolled her eyes and was rude to me. overall so so so so much work required outside of class in the lab and without assistance from a prof in the labs it is almost impossible work.

Wake up 8:30 AM in the morning wondering why you did this to yourself. Make it to class and find out that you have memorize literal biological facts to prepare for quizzes; Why are we memorizing? What good will that be an hour after the test? Unkind and unhelpful as well

She is lecture heavy with lots of notetaking required. The weekly assignments had confusing or misleading instructions and during class she wouldn't answer any questions without having a snappy tone. She is a nice woman outside of class but inside is another story
