We had a pizza party..how many college professors do that? Becuz my class missed a whole month of class due to snow, we didn't party as much, but one party is more than enough.

He is the best professor ever at UMass Lowell, after Prof. Stephen Pennel and Prof Monty Carter. He teaches technical stuff with such ease and excellent examples that even a duffer can understand what he is talking about. And he is the nicest guy ever too. Take his class if u can. Wish there were more Prof. like him.

He's a great teacher. He makes complicated information easy to comprehend. You must study and read the text if you want an A though. He wants everyone to pass and apply themselves. Do every assignment he assigns. They are simple. Some idiots in class didn't do them just because and he docked them big time for not caring enough to do the assignment.

One of the best professors I have ever had and one of the funniest. He does do two presentations but they are not hard at all. It took me 15 minutes to make each presentation. Tests are relatively easy if you pay some attention and study the vocab. Definitely recommend him. And he orders pizza for the class before each exam.

Awesome teacher - has fun in the class - interesting topics made more interesting through Prof. Bhindarwala's examples and explanations. You definitely have to study the text material for the tests & quizzes, but they are fairly easy as long as you read the chapters. Orders pizza for the tests!!

Great teacher, Had a 3 hour class with him once a week, was entertained the hole time. he was funny and cracks jokes. His material was on point was easy to understand. To get an A, read chapters couple times and you should be fine.

By far has to be my best professor I have ever had while attending college. Trust me, he teaches a really boring subject and somehow seems to make it interesting. The only thing that's sad is that he only teaches MIS. HW were easy, quizzes and tests were exactly what he saids its going to be on.

Class was boring alot and he uses too many personal examples from the 70's and 80's (wish he could have more updated stories) - Grading structure is tough even if you are an "A" student. Be careful not to miss any classes and study,study,study...overall good class.

This professor is not the average UMASS instructor. He give pizzas and candies before tests .Moiz is friendly and lectures are pleasant, but sometimes they are too long. The professor recomends reading text book, which is the key to succeed in this course.

The subject wasn't that bad, thanks to prof. Moiz, I actually remembered pretty much everything we learned in the class. Consists of 4 easy quizzes, 2 exams (midterm & finals), 1 short answer presentation, 2 easy analysis exercises, and 1 group project. EASY WORK, he's nice, free pizza, maybe a prize mid-semesterm easy grade! one of the best!

Lecture based. Teacher is funny and really knows his stuff. Sit and listen, you will pass with a good score! He explains everything and does reviews, he also sends out the ppts! He explains every part of the test, goes page by page through book telling you the terms that will show up.

He is very informed on the subject matter. I wasn't too thrilled about taking Management Information Systems but Professor Bhindarwala made the class fun and interesting. He provides a lot of options for points so not doing well on one assignment won't ruin your grade. He is an excellent professor and I would definitely take a class with him again.

He had quizzes every 2-3 classes for each chapter and they were pretty easy. tests were not too difficult and he went over what would be on them. basically if you read the chapters and show up to most of the classes you have nothing to worry about. Also he brought dominos pizza on test days and he's pretty funny. highly recommended.

Professor genuinely cares about your success. He keeps you engaged in a subject that can be boring and his laid back style keeps the pressure low. If you need help, ask, he is more than approachable and always willing to go the extra step for his students. Pay attention during lectures and participate. The slides he emails are helpful for review.

Overall, it was a great experience taking a class with this Professor. Put in the effort and read the book you will do great. Grading criteria is spelled out on day one! He is intelligent and hilarious which makes the class more interesting. I got a great grade and would take a class with him again without even thinking about it!

Moiz was awesome! I can't stress this highly enough... READ THE BOOK! It is CRITICAL that you read and study each chapter. Quizzes and tests are on each chapter in the book. To succeed in his class, attend each class, do the assignments. His expectations are clear. If you are sincere in your efforts in his class, you'll get a good grade for sure.

Fairly easy class if you do the reading or go over the powerpoints. Attendance is mandatory and he does give out quizzes after each class. He is such a great professor and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is taking this course.

This professor is clearly knowledgeable on the subject matter. You should not struggle in this class at all. He gives so many opportunities to get a good grade. There's quizzes every week that are very straight forward. Just read and you should do well. The subject matter is not hard to understand and it helps to have an enthusiastic professor.

WAs kinda worried about this his Data Communications class because I'm not a MIST concentration but I'm so glad I took it the lecture were long but it's a night class, for exams just read and read and read and you'll be fine I passed so if you take it serious you will too .don't wait a day before the exam cuz you won't pass

I had Prof. Bhindarwala for both Data Communications and Business Info Systems this semester and both were great! The former was overall more technical, but it was important to pay attention and read the book for both courses. You get as much out as the effort you put in.

First, lets just start by saying what other college level professor has bought the entire class Dominoes pizza? Because this teacher did it twice! This was hands down one of my favorite teachers that I have ever taken. He makes learning an enjoyment while extremely informational, and his lectures were straight forward. Exceptional knowledge in his area, Uses real world examples to drive home important points. Well prepared class presentations and test are easily mastered if one does a moderate level of studying. Would take another class with him without hesitation.

I took Business Info Systems once a week for 3 hours, so in general 3 hour classes usually get boring and hard to maintain attention. The material in general wasn't in my interest but the grading was super clear and heavily relied on the textbook. READ. Really nice and super helpful in or out of classroom. I would take a class with him again.

Very understanding and reasonable, yet ensures that his students retain the material he teaches in this course, he has proven to be one of the best professors I have studied under in a long, long time. He is also great at teaching the information. This class is vocab heavy, you will need the book the read the chapters so that you can perform better on test and quizzes.

Exams are no joke, you must read the material. Class consisted of 3 exams, 2 HW assignments, 1 presentation and 1 group project. You must read the chapters if you want to have any chance on the exam. Professor is laid back enough and easy to get along with but the classes will never end early.

Professor Bhindarwala is extremely knowledgeable in the subject and provides lots of real life examples to help understand confusing topics. He cares about the students actually learning the info and retaining it. The class is once a week which inherently requires you to do some class prep during the week. The class was well taught and enjoyable.

Professor Bhindarwala is one of the nicest professors I have had. He noticed that I was not doing well and reached out to me to see if their was anything he could do to help. There are quizzes for each chapter, which can be very confusing at times but just read and listen during the slides even though the material can be very boring.

Non-cumulative Final, and weighted the same as other Tests. Group project is assigned first week. 2 or 3 Homework assignments throughout the Semester. Grades project based on you showing up and not on content or presentation. Easy-going and easy class. Tests are multiple choice/True or False and mostly all vocab

I had him for a 3 hour business info systems night class right after another 3 hour class so was mentally exhausted by the end. However he is a great teacher and gives 2 small presentations (one is group presentation) and 4 exams including the noncumulative final. Counts 6 out of 9 quiz grades and is understanding about problems with assignments

Mr. Bhindarwala was an amazing professor! He even took the time out of his day after class to assist me in career goals for the future, so he is unequivocally super caring about the students. As per the class, the textbook may be a lot to begin with... but just fraction it off per days leading up to the exam. 6/9 quizzes counted. Would 100% retake.

Professor Bhindarwala is a very nice man. Don't show up to class tired though as he will put you to sleep. He is a heavy lecturer. You might think he gets tired of talking, he doesn't. Exams aren't hard if you study, if you do not study you won't pass. Show up to class because sometimes he gives you 100s on the quizzes for the people there. Two homework's that were very easy. This man is amazing. His Business Information Systems Class literally caused a change In career (or rather major) due to how interesting and captivating he made the subject. The lecture can be tedious and is a bit PowerPoint Heavy but he has a very witty if not unique sense of humor. I highly recommend taking Professor Bhinderwalas class, 10/10!

He is a cool person but the lectures are very long and content heavy. The quizzes and test are multiple choice so you need to pay attention and study in order to pass. No complaints on the professor but the material is super tedious and word heavy. Its easy to get lost.

Great class, lecture heavy and 630-930pm is a tough time to sit through 2-3 hours of lectures but he is a very knowledgable professor and was helpful and flexible during all of this corona nonsense.

Bear in mind these lectures were virtual over Zoom due to COVID-19, so I imagine his in-person lectures are very different. Great professor with a sense of humor who knows his field well. His lectures, while a bit hard to process due to his accent, are great as he presents more than what is actually shown on the slide.
