Good teacher, explains work and lectures clearly. not an easy A but you will learn from her classes.

This class is very hard since it's calculus...but she is VERY helpful...Always remember to study the review guides they are soooo helpful!!! I usually barely pass math classes...but I am getting an A! She is great!!

Great teacher. Very thorough and clear. Don't listen to those who talk bad about her. They clearly did not pay attention in class or do their homework. Study her reviews because the exams are just like it.

She explained everything in class. Be careful with her tests b/c they're very long. Test reviews were VERY helpful. She has an accent so pay attention in class. She looks hard but actually a very nice lady. Interact with her and you will know.

This teacher was very helpful and clear. Her tests were too long for the allotted time. Always available for office hours. She is NOT moody, you teach six math classes and see how you feel! Very fair teacher. This is the hardest math class I have ever had. Know your trig! Do all your homework. Two hours not enough for a 20 question test.

She is a good math teacher who is willing to help students. She gives allot of homework though.

She is one of the best math teachers I've had. She always worked with the class and made sure everyone understood the material. She made sure people understood what was being taught. If people had problems it's because they were not paying attention. And by the looks of some spelling errors I've seen, someone is not paying attention elsewhere.

I hate math and dreaded taking transferable math class, but i passed in her class. You have to do all the HW to understand the material and it keeps your grade afloat. She is a great lady with an interesting sense of humor. Best of all tests are short, twenty questions.

just do your homework and she wont bite your head off. she has this sly sense of humor you have to pay attention to catch a smile. but its cool.

Professor Nikdel is not the horrible person these monsters make her out to be. I agree that she is a tough instructor; but, why would any wish to be given an easy “A.” I believe that grades are to be earned and if you feel the same, enroll in her course. Be prepared to spend 2-3 hours on the homework and that is no joke. P/S—do not settle for less,

I recommend this to math majors. Nikdel is a great professor. If you are on top of the work she gives you, you will definitely learn something. She is not mean. She just wants to see her students do excel.

great teacher. all u need to do to pass is come to EVERY class, copy the notes EXACTLY how she put them on the bored, and DO UR HOMEWORK. the tests are exactly like the homework, the homeworks are exactly like the notes. she's strict, but then again, this IS math 112, u need to be disciplined by now anywayz. quizzes and tests are short and sweet

She is like a mother in the class that wants everyone to work hard and be an outstanding student. Her exams are very hard but it worth it. I like her as a person as well as a teacher..take her but study hard! and have fun!

Good teacher! If you listen in class, do the review and the homework the tests are a breeze. The tests may be a little long but its managable. She also gives extra credit which helps your grade.

She is not a hard instructor, however she is a little grumping as others mention but its her personality. Lectures are good and short as long as you do the homework and review you will do good.

Her lecture was simple and clear. A lot of homeworks but she never checked your answers; she only checked if you did it or not; so as long as you put some effort she would grade it.

She is a great teacher and if you do your homework you'll do find in the class. The notes are long but very clear and to the point no waste of time. If you ask for help she is very willing and I think she is a super AWESOME teacher. You learn a lot.

Nikdel is the meanest math teacher I have ever taken. She has also taught me the importance of studying the material over and over until it is fried into my brain. She is definitely not a friendly person though.

Cerritos College is very lucky to have Nikdel as a full time professor. Nikdel is phenomenal. I highly recommend taking her if u truly would want to learn and comprehend algebra. What is enjoyable about her class are the clear and concise lectures and power points presented. NIKDEL ROCKS!!

Explains clearly step by step on how to solve the problems. Gives credit for hw and provides study guide prior to exams,which are very helpful if you study. Must to the hw in order to practice the problems assigned. Stay focus and on track.Seems tough but she is nice and will explain if you do not understand.

Seriously the best math teacher I've ever had. Extremely helpful and shows multiple ways on how to solve a problem and asks you which way you would prefer to solve it to help you understand better. Hw is a necessity and it's only because she knows it will help you practice. Study guides are similar to tests. There are no tricks

She is one of my favorite teachers in Cerritos College, super helpful and always willing to help his students. She makes math so easy, you wont regret taking her. Warning she is not easy teacher you need to do the work (hw and study).

Nikdel is a great math teacher! the best one i had so far Even if you are not good in math you can still get a good grade in her class. The exams are easy and straight forward if you do the study guide and study it! Explains the material clearly.. and extremely helpful if you are having trouble. She also gives extra credit.

She is not empathetic at all, you MUST study your butt off, Her exams are chellenging enough and she provides you with everything to study. I took her this summer for Math 80 and i don't want to sound cocky but it was some what of a breeze but i love math. She was very helpful during class and during office hours. She would take the time to show a problem step by step if you didn't get it. She did give a lot of hw but it served as great practice so i didn't mind. I recommend her!

I am currently taking her. And am a bit sad that she will not be teaching Math 60 Spring 14. I love her teaching style. She use's power points for lecture, then sample problems. Very helpful and seldom uses the textbook, only for homework. She is very helpful, and may seem mean at first but is genuinely nice. Exams are easy if you do the homework.

my one & only math class i needed to take after high school & i loved it! it's a challenge, the material is hard, but i learned so much, i love her teaching style. i didn't pass with an A because i gave up at the end. tutoring for this class is worth the time! don't be intimidated by her mean face, she's always has that look even when she laughs

She is really nice and everyone loves her in her class. she is amazing and helpful. she gives you enough time to finish, and she gives home works which are important for the test and for you to learn.

This class sounded scary to take in college, i took stats in high school and i think thats what helped a bit. I have an A so far though, she teaches the material very well, but you have to put in the time and effort on studying ! she teaches from power points but does examples with you in class as well, she gives reviews for exams which help ALOT

Great learning system, I failed math 80a with a horrible teacher, took up 80 right after, passed with a 96. Test are extremely similar to reviews and she answers question during the class period where everyone can understand. Great teacher

This subject is tough first off, but if you study your buns off you will pass. She offers a lot of extra credit too though and some say her accent is a little hard to understand. But its also so fun to learn, it wasnt even easier since i had an early class but if you study every day you'll be good, offers 3 midterms and all

Great professor, personally I was a little shaky at the beggining of the class because I had not taken any math class in my senior year, so I forgot a lot of things, but the class was challenging so I had the motivation to stay up late studying old notes and exams to pass this class, and now I am confident. She will explain whatever you dont get.

Excellent professor. She is very dedicated and devoted to her work and her students. I had received a D and re-took this class with her and received an A. She makes you work hard, but she is there for anything that you might need. Need more math teachers like her at Cerritos. Love her!

Professor Nikdel is an excellent professor. She explains well. She may come off as rude at first, but she is extremely helpful when you visit during her office hours. Yes, expect homework but you'll see many of the homework questions on the quizzes. Study guides are great too. Overall an A+ professor.

Professor Nikdel will make you work but overall she is an extraordinary teacher, all you have to do is READ the NOTES, DO the HOMEWORK, and STUDY before each test. She offers extra credit for going to the Student Success Center.

Took Math 80 with Nikdel for sum 16'. Breakdown: She gives reviews of what's to appear on exam. Offers ex-cred points for participation during review. Exams are similar to review. I got an A in the class. Was it easy? No. I worked Hard. 2 hours before class and 2 hours after class, mon-thur. I would definitely take her again!

Took her class online and really enjoyed it. There is online hw and quizzes and tests are on campus. She offers study guides that are VERY helpful for exams.

Simple recipe: go to class, do the homework, DONT procrastinate, use the FREE tutoring, & lastly, DO WHAT NIKDEL SAYS TO DO. I promise you, if you do what she says, then you will do well in this class. Try to do it your own way... good luck! I can see why students think she's tough, but she's only prepping you for the real world.

Do your homework. Memorize formulas, for the love of god, memorize them there are so many. Huge reason why I passed was for my semester she was nice enough to be our personal tutor. Do the work, study, and memorize the formulas and youll pass, show up to class.

I took her over summer for Math 80. (No quizzes) I had her for Math 112 for fall. (Had quizzes) Doesn't grade hw problems but gives points for doing it. Hw is turned in as a packet. DO IT RIGHT AWAY! TRUST ME. She has Exam Review Days (she'll go over answers too) which are similar to the Exams. She gives tons of extra credit too! STUDY! Good luck!

First off Calculus 3 is a hard subject. Dr. Mojdeh Nikdel does a okay job teaching the material. She uses notes through power points but gives enough extra credit to help with boosting your grade. She cant tolerate cheaters and students that don't earn their grades. SOOO do your self a favor EARN your grade. Overall she has a good heart.

If you are looking for a easy class this isnt the one. You work for what you deserve in her class. Her test are difficult but if you study read carefully and be organized with your notes you will pass. She is willing to help you understand. She can come off intimidating but shes really nice.

I took Professor Nikdel back in 2017 for my last semester. I needed to pass in order to officially be set to transfer, so I of course attended office hours and studied everyday because Im not the greatest when it comes to math haha. She seems intimidating, but every time I reached out she was there to help. You get what you put in :)

This class by far was one of the most difficult class i have ever taken. The first HW was about 150 problems. I received an A in this class but i know that maybe 5 As were earned may failed and or got C's. As long as you turn in all your homework and do all your quizes. She will give you an A. She will notice your hard work and round your grade.

Completely self learning w/ her PPTs and doing the HW. You have quizzes every other week, 2 exams and a final which are all open note and open for 24hrs(48 hrs for exams). She gives practice exams and their key AND they're pretty similar to the actual exam. Material is tough but doable. Personally haven't talked to her though.

The online class was really doable. The material was difficult and its almost completely self learning but if you put in the time you can understand it. The study guides and her key completely prepare you for the exams. Try to find a study group, it helps a lot! If you email her or ask for help she is really helpful too.

She was the only professor that was with me late hours of the night when I was suffering on a question. The class is work heavy, but when she sees an ambitious student, she will work hard with you. This class was tough!

I am so confused as to why she has low ratings. Professor Nikdel is super helpful, extremely caring, and very lenient. You have to do your work though! I wish I can write a lengthy review because I have nothing but positive things to say. To keep it short, go to her office hours and take advantage of the tutoring her teacher aid provides!

This class you pretty much just watch her go over notes that you already did and do weekly or bi weekly assignments she is very understanding and wants you to pass. Mind you this was my 3rd time taking stats and she made it simple and there was only 2 major exams.

I rated this professor poorly because of a misunderstanding and was not able to delete the rating. After the initial misunderstanding, I realized that she is a very thoughtful and understanding Professor. She is a great professor that is willing to work with you. I am grateful I took her class and apologize for the poor rating I made years ago.
