I recommend this teacher to anyone and everyone. She made the assignments interesting, and she was SO SO SO helpful. No matter what your question, she had an answer. She is very easy going, yet stern enough to control the class, if I could, I would have her teach all my classes!!!

If you take this class you will leave knowing how to write a perfect essay. She breaks everything down and has these handouts that help so much. Only take this class if you like to write!

She in a very nice, but liberal teacher. Enjoys a little debate but still keeps it clean. Pretty easy class so long as you don't blow it off too much. Provides opportunities for extra credit and fun activities. I highly recommend this teacher to those taking eng 119 and read 2(assuming she teaches it next semester.)

Mrs. Emmons always offered help if anyone needed it. She was intimdating sometimes, though, and you never knew if she'd be annoyed at your questions. There were pros and cons in her class. As long as you read her handouts and follow her guidelines on time you can easily pass.

Mrs.Emmons Creative Writing class is by far my favorite class.. the lectures are helpful, and fun, and the material is interesting. the assignments, are easy, providing, you don't procrastinate and do them at the end. if you are looking to take creative writing, take it with molly, the class is fun, and simple, i look forward to going everyday...

DON'T BE FRIGHTENED. She is GOOD. You WILL learn. There are: NO tests, 8 short essay reviews, and 4 essays (performance review, current event response, personal interview, research paper). You WILL be required to spend outside time on your essays. She is: nice, stern, knowledgeable, demanding. Course WILL prepare you for ALL future course essays.

Mrs. Emmons is a pretty good teacher. She doesn't give alot of homework only essays. Her lectures aren't boring and she can be pretty funny sometimes. She lets you do revisions on your essays which is a blessing but the topics are sometimes hard. Alot of the work we do is done online. She is pretty nice for the most part.

I now love writing because of her class and the sustainability theme that we had. She allows you to rewrite papers after she has a private meeting with you after each. Has her bad days but alot of teachers do. I found the class easy and enjoyable. All you have to do is buckup and really try.

Molly's creative writing class is wonderful because she herself is a writer and is super knowledgeable. I would recommend her every single time. She gives great feedback, but don't take this class JUST for the GE req'd. Only take if you are serious about writing.

Molly was a very hard english teacher. Sometimes she was rude to the point of wanting to drop the class but in the end I really enjoyed this class. I learned so much and learned to tolerate her disposition. If you actually want to learn stuff then this class is for you

As someone who can write, i took the class for perspective. Molly is able and enjoys giving helpful feed back to writers of varying talents. Herself a writer, and lover of the craft, her passion shows up in her teaching. She is one of the few teachers at Butte whom's opinion i respect.

If you're into writing fiction and poem, you would really enjoy this class. If you do the exercises and come to class everyday you'll definitely pass.

Molly was an awesome teacher! I would definetely take her classes. In the beginning I haveto admit, I wasn't too fond of her. She can rude, and is very opiniated. She is a great English teacher for Freshman students. I got an A in the class and honestly didn't give it 100%. Take her class, you won't regret it!!

See uses posted information on the internet which help you keep track of each and every grade for your assignment and is easy to use. She can be difficult to discuss with at times But all in all if you work hard and attend class you will get an A

I have taken two different classes with Molly Emmons. Molly is a fantastic teacher. She expects you to hold up your end of the bargain, but she doesn't tell you what to write. Class attendance is a must, but you will love every second. She's better on fiction, so if you want poetry don't take this one. Don't be afraid to pour your heart out.

So far one of the best English professors ice had. Uses blackboard a lot

She is very rude. She actually said in class that Odinists are living in a fantasy world. Very Very rude! Just 'cause it's not your religion doesn't mean it's wrong. She also adjusts your writing to meet her criteria. I would not take another class from her even though I got an A.

YOu have to know that she is a college teacher that does not baby her students. She is a great english teacher and she trys to understand but she does not pitty people so dont think it will be easy. Just have respect and you will be fine.

Pretty good teacher. I absolutely love Creative Writing and she's been great to help me grow as a writer. Easy class. Just do the exercises and assignments and revise your work and KEEP AN OPEN MIND and you'll be fine. Worth taking for sure.

At first I thought shewa hard. However, it was a front. She cares!! Bottom line !! She wants o see her students pass, yet she won't let you walk on her. You miss a bunch of classes it shows you arn't serious and she will drop you.

O.k. no phones, no sleeping, no ditching, other than that be a good writer, and pay attention. Take notes and talk during class, when she lets you.

After taking ENG119&Creative Writing,I think she is 1 of the most brilliant teachers I have ever had,FOR REAL.She has an easy-going class environment,with loads of laughs,lots of homework that challenges you,and is helpful,gives ideas, and will always listen to you.She treats you like an adult & expects you to be 1, which isn't bad/rude in college.

I had Molly for English 2. I really enjoyed her class. She expects you to act like a student in college and not the kid from high school. She means business! Not a class you can screw around in. She is a wonderful person and she is very interested in her students' lives..although she does come off a little edgy... I would take her class again.

Most of the time, I liked this teacher. But at other times, I found her to be a little intimidating. Bottom line she is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met, and she cares a lot about her job. I liked and respected the fact that she did not give her students an easy pass! I would definitely recommend her.

Molly comes off as intimidating at first, probably to scare slackers off. But the class is easy if you do the work and if she knows that you're generally interested in doing the work and actually care, she will go out of her way to help you succeed. If you're struggling, talk to her and she will help you as she doesn't want you to fail.

I love Molly Emmons. She is a wonderful teacher. I got an A in her class because I listened. Molly is a very resourceful person. I was hard working, and wanted to further my writing skills. Molly made it really easy for me. Her lectures are simple and clear not mention interesting. I didn't feel stressed because she doesn't overwhelm us. Recommend

TONS of assignments, but it's a writing class! You have to write to improve! A few tests, so the textbook only felt necessary during those times but this class really runs on creativity. Be prepared to have everyone read your writing. In the end, the class really bonds well though.

Molly certainly requires you do the work. But she is also lenient (to some degree) about late work. Yes, you need to listen to her instructions to get good grades. Isn't that all classes? She is quite a fun teacher, too.

This instructor is there to help you anytime you need as long as you are making an effort and showing up for classes. She wants all of her students to succeed and takes the time to conference with her students about their essays and papers and has plenty of office hours. Even meets with students on her personal time. She is Astonishing. No Joke.

Molly is such a great teacher, she really cares about students and about every class she treaches. I'm about to take my 3rd of hers next semester. There is homework, but remember this is school, and for the most part, if there's a class consensus, she will extend a due date for any work. listen up, she has unlimited knowledge! Very intelligent!

Excellent class. Professor Emmons was clear and patient and truly desires her students to succeed. This class is great as a refresher or for development. She gives step by step process instruction. Three essays were mandatory to pass, but we knew that from day one. Some group work, enjoyable class. The material was fun. Put away your electronics!

There was a ton of homework but hey, its college isnt it? She is a great teacher, always there to help you and is very understandable. I recommend her class for ENGL2 only 3 essays! & the essays are to your interests (hopefully she keeps the food theme)

Molly has been so amazing! I hate reading and the stuff she has you read is so interesting you actually don't mind. I took her for engl 119 and I actually enjoy writing papers now. I even made sure I got into her Engl 2 class.

Great Instructor! Gives clear instructions for homework. Really cares and takes whatever time is necessary to help a student. Personal conferences. Really goes above and beyond. Amazing teacher. I will definitely be taking Eng2 from her.

Was nervous about taking Creative Writing, but Molly made it a blast! She gives excellent and detailed feedback, and makes it very clear she cares for her students. This may be an elective, but it is pretty work intensive. I enjoyed having something to break up math and sciences and have taken other English courses with her.

Molly's an incredible teacher & person. Her grading policy is really straight forward, she genuinely cares about every student, the assignments are typically fun and pretty easy to do, the service learning project is extremely rewarding & her class themes are interesting. She helped me so much with my writing and is great about conferences.

Hi was very impressed with Molly's grading criteria. It is spelled out in no uncertain terms exactly what you need to do to get a C, a B, and an A in the class. Very helpful.

I've had Molly for 2 classes now and am going into Eng 11 this semester. She cares about her students and works hard to help them succeed. This is an instructor that is willing to go the extra mile.

Molly is fantastic! English isn't my strongest subject, but her lectures were always interesting and she gives great feedback. She's clear with her grading criteria by laying out exactly what you need to do to get an A, B, C, D or F. I also enjoyed how she keeps it real instead of sugarcoating things. Solid English teacher choice. To be honest, her class was laughably easy. She really wants everyone to pass and handed out A's in my class. Her homework is weekly but very easy. Her group projects were basic, and she doesn't test! she's biased to the left, so conservatives watch out. but overall she was a solid teacher for English classes.

Molly is an excellent English teacher. I would highly recommend you take her class. She is very caring and helpful. Classes are not boring and she likes having class discussions often.

Super easy class to pass. She doesnt want anyone to fail so she gives us a lot of chances if we miss something. I feel like she gives us a lot of busy work over the week to do. She lets us revise our essays as much as we want to get the grade we want. Shes unnecessarily rude and harsh sometimes. Still really easy to pass.

Molly is my favorite professor at this college. The first day of class she gives you a syllabus with everything you need to know in order to get the grade youre looking for. There are no tests, a few homework assignments, and 2-3 papers that she gives you opportunity to redo for a chance at a higher grade. One of my favorite professors of all time

This professor expects a lot out of you because she cares. She wants everyone in her class to succeed and is able to understand a student's situation. She explains what we need to do in her class in the beginning of the semester for us to be prepared. It was always a good vibe in her classroom because everyone would work together and give feedback.

Molly gives lots of homework but not all of it is required. Basically, whatever you put in is what you get. Put in the work and you get an A, put in most work a B, etc. She is a very easy going and enjoyable teacher.

She is a fantastic teacher, who is respectful to each of her students and strives to create a community within her classes, she has a clear syllabus and work expectations. She accepts late work, and gives helpful, constructive criticism. She is extremely kind, understanding, and lenient. It is very obvious that she cares about her students.

I took two different english classes with Molly and I loved both of them. However, you cannot expect to pass this class without watching the lectures and reading your textbook. Molly is always willing to meet with her students when they need extra help. Although she gives a good amount of writing, it is completely doable if you really try.

The best professor I have had. The fact that anyone has given her a score less than a 5 is hard to comprehend. She wants to see her student succeed and is always available to help make that a reality. She makes sure students know about all the resources available at Butte college and meet regularly with students outside of class.

Super sweet lady, one of my favorite instructors so far. Had her last spring and she was super understanding, would've gotten an A but i misunderstood on of the requirements for the final still got a B. Unlike most professors at unis she did not interject her personal beliefs into the class. Super respectful and respectable woman.

Professor Emmons is an extraordinary teacher. She has a very clear grading criteria and by the end of the course if you get enough points, the rest of the assignments are only optional for extra credit. Her assignments and lectures are engaging and she's an extremely understanding person. I highly recommend this professor.

Molly Emmons not only cares about your grade, she also cares about you. She assigns a total of four essay for the semester and for each one she attempt to schedule a meeting with you in order to revise it with you. She takes time out of her day for you to make sure you are doing well in her class and in general.

What to expect out of Molly Emmons: A contract grading system, you only need to complete about 2/3 of work given, anything else is extra credit. Morbid sense of humor. Strict but fair.
