Extremely unclear!! Lectures have no direction, hard to understand what she is saying. Very boring!! Tests are not that hard but you never know what to expect because the classes are so unclear. Seems like she is not comfortable talking in front of groups.

Nice lady, but not cut out to be a professor. Very unclear in class about everything. Seems to not know the information at times. Tests are hard to prepare for because there is so much material given and she isn't specific about what will be on it. Definitely avoid taking her if possible!
I think that she is hard and not a good teacher at all. Her lectures are unclear, and her test are tricky. I would not advise anyone to take her class because she is not professor material. She does not seem prepared and she is always in a rush. Never a study guide! HARD to understand!!!!
Great teacher!

Claims her tests are straight from lecture, but in all reality they are not!She seems knowledgable about certain topics but fails to convey her smarts properly. She is unclear and indecisive. She goes far too deep into Geo for this intro level class and looses her train of thought about 10 times a lecture..I dont recommend Ms.Mcgraw by any means....
Have to study for her exams, but everything is on Power Point.
Hard professor, but very helpful outside of class.

I have her now and she is great! Reviews everything at the start of each class and goes over things until everyone understands.
Whoa! Scatterbrained, but very knowledgeable. CANNOT SPELL to save her life, but brilliant! LOL
Good professor
She does loose her train of thought but overall she is a good teacher. She is always willing to help you and her door is always open. The tests are not hard and she gives you all the info.
She's a great teacher because she cares about students and is fair, unlike many professors who have contempt for students. If you come to class and study you should have no problem at all. She is always willing to help you.
This woman has no social skills whatsoever. She also treats people like they are in junior high. She will yell at you about cell phones or not looking at your book when she tells you too. The class is SOOO easy but you have to go to class b/c she doesn't stick to her syllabus. I wouldn't recommned her.
Extremely nice. She basically doesn't put up with immature students that don't know how to act in a classroom. If your intent is to sit through college and read Harry Potter, than she will have little patience with you. Overall she is excellent -- passionate about her subject, and very easy to talk to. She goes out of her way to help you.
This teacher needs to seriously learn how to teach. She loses track of thought in the snap of a finger. She says UM at least 5 times before every sentence. She gave us a test and told us the class before we would all fail
going to class is a must her test are from lecture.I made a D so make sure you don't take the class for granted because in the end its what you will end up with. If this is not your major take someone else.
She is very passionate about what she does, teaches a good course, and is overall a good professor; however, she lacks a little bit in the public speaking department.
She is a good teacher. Has problem with spelling. If you can study and don't expect to be handed a good grade for doing nothing, take her. I enjoyed her class. Cell phones should be off in class, I understand why she gets upset about them. Students think class time is social time - how about thinking of it as study time? Grow up people!
Dr. McGraw is awesome. She's a little goofy. Her tests come straight from her notes... She doesn't require you to go to class, but you really need to attend to do well. She hates cell phones and will publicly embarrass you if your phone goes off. She is a great teacher, and very passionate about her subject. She makes it interesting.
This lady is up and down. She has her good days but then she'll be in a bad mood and it really affects class that day. She can be really rude sometimes. Treats people like her inferiors, but then all of a sudden she'll be really easygoing.
This lady cracks me up. She is ridiculous and it's so entertaining. She really is an awesome lady and really loves geography of Louisiana. I sat in the front and basically goofed on her the whole time and she was okay with it as long as it didn't take up half the class. She hates freshman though so if you are on, your screwed.
She is a great teacher very passionate about Louisiana geography. She makes the class interesting with her spunky personality but students know not to cross her because she doesn't play. Great overall teacher I actually learned alot.
Pretty annoying lady to be honest. I hated her personality, hated her humor, hated a lot of things. BUT, she is a good teacher and is extremely enthusiastic, so that helps. My biggest complaint is her clarity, or lack there of..taking notes was almost impossible at times. Overall the experience was solid and I'd recommend her.
Dr.McGraw is an okay teacher. Very enthusiastic about teaching geography. She seems to sleep, eat, and breathe it. She has a sense of humor, but it's not the type for everyone. If you go to class, and take the notes and STUDY, you should do fine. I ended up with a B in the class, and I missed 3 classes, BUT I did my work as well.
Summer Term 1 class 100% internet. LA geography in 21 days. Lots of reading, very interesting and informative. Tests were timed, long and at times difficult. You really have to study the material. She was quick to respond if there was a question or problem. Good class but be prepared to work hard.
The class was 100% internet so no attendance. Had to read a little book for fifty points, and three tests for 100 points a piece. worked hard in this class, and ended up with an 89.24. And she did not hesitate to give me a B. Three tenths of a point and she wouldn't even curve up. I wish I had taken McNeil instead of this lady. You are warned.
Great teacher! You need to attend class if you want to make an A. She is very entertaining and informative, and goes out of her way to help you at any time outside of class. Attendance is not mandatory, but you should attend class if you want to make a good grade.
All grades come from the 3 exams (100 pts each) and the final (200 pts). Engaging about geog (pretty obsessed), tries to keep you at least somewhat interested. She'll say her exams are very straightforward, but the wording can still be tricky. All exams have a list of countries/rivers to know. 50 questions: 40-ish mult. choice & some map questions.
I took it as an Internet class- worth it. Make sure you save all test info to your computer before test day or it'll be gone. Teacher was willing to let us come to office hours to discuss test. Overall, very easy.
Easy, Straight forward class. Tests and quizzes come directly from her study guides and slides. If you do not get at the very lowest a B in this class, then you are not really serious about school. She is fair and is willing to help if you have any problems
This is a terrible professor she failed me and I never fail a class. Her test do not come from the notes, but mainly readings and parishes. She would not give me any points besides the four test grades or any extra credit. She also uses profanity in class without respect for the students. Do not take her unless you are good at Geography.
She was funny and very nice but don't use your phone or fall asleep in her class. She will call you out. You really have to study in her class. If you don't read the readings it'll reflect in your grade.
One of the worst teachers Ive ever had. Tests r confusing & she isnt willing 2 explain things. She cant spell & has illegible writing but loves 2 write on board. Definitely need 2 study 4 tests, but questions r bad. Explained geog terms 2 foreign student on final but wouldnt help another with regular word. Ive never left a final so angry. HORRIBLE!
Spacey woman who has neglected to refine her teaching ability. Often times rude and condescending, and very unclear on objectives. Would not recommend her to anyone.
She is sometimes rude towards students, sending insults instead of answering questions. Not very much feedback about tests. Not a super tough class, but her attitude and superiority complex didn't help.
Was an easy online class with not much work, but the tests were definitely harder than they needed to be. In some cases, couldn't find information she asked about anywhere. Wasn't terrible but could've been better.
Do not take this woman. She's very careless when it comes to the amount of work she throws on her students. Each exam consist of tons of information, not to mention her final is cumulative with 200 questions. imagine trying to learn so much information. More than half of her class is failing and she blames it on not taking good notes.
Dr McGraw helped me during a medical issue. She answered all my questions and helped me makeup missed work.
Dr. McGraw is actually one of the worse professors I have taken. She's rude and demeaning. She has very little patience for questions which is unfortunate because she teaches at lightning speeds. She expects everyone to be experts day one of class. However, she is very passionate about geography.
Don't listen to the other comments Dr McGraw is good prof. She reviews before every class and test. Very nice lady who knows her stuff. Hates cell phones.
Tough but very good professor. She does not play around. Very direct
Took over summer online. Straight forward class. Professor answered my email real fast.
She is amazing professor!!!! I enjoyed her and will take her again and again.
I was hesitant about taking her class, but she is easier than I thought. There are only 4 exams, 2 map quizzes, and 2 homework assignments. She gives you several chapters to read from the textbooks, but I never read them. As long as you go over the powerpoints you will pass the exams. She gives extra credit if you don't email her stupid questions.
Lots of opportunities to do well in her class. She has a lot of easy assignments. Her tests are very easy, just follow the powerpoints. The class was very interesting; I learned quite a bit about Louisiana. She is happy to help if you go to her office hours. She cares a lot about her students' success.
Nice professor. Four exams, couple of quizzes and homeworks. Will take her again.
Basic online class. Very easy to make a good grade in her class. If you want an A you have to read. If you want extra credit don't ask questions that can be answered by the syllabus. Very straight forward and organized!
Four exams, a couple of map quizzes and four easy assignments. You need to read the book, but everything is straightforward.
Good class to take online. Gives bonus. Exams require respondus lockdown, but they aren't too difficult. Recommend taking this online course
I took her previously for 103 and decided to take her for 322. It is basically the same except you have quizzes along with the exams and homework. A little more work! You have to read. Make sure to check the syllabus for readings, her moodle isn't organized that well. I suggest doing the homework early on so you can focus on the quizzes and exams.
She whispers throughout the entire lecture, anytime you ask her a question she never knew the answer. Doesn't allow cellphones. When taking a test you have to keep the paper down although some test are front and back. 2 Map quizzes, 4 Exams and 1 hw assignment
Her exams are SOOO vague. Literally a question will be "Boundaries" and you have to decide what the heck it goes with. I wish i could add pictures. I am taking her online so you do move at your own pace. My only wish is that her exams would make more sense.
Only recommend you take this class online. I would NOT take this class in person. 4 test, 3 map quizzes. Everything you need to know is on moodle. Easy online class, but once again, do NOT take on campus.
She is not a very compassionate professor. If someone in class does not answer a question, she gets rude. If we ask questions, she answers in a rude tone. Very hard to understand. Whispers the whole class. Does not use good powerpoints. Mumbles the whole time. Asks very specific questions on tests.
She mumbles and her powerpoints are not the notes, you have to copy down everything she says. She does not post any information (note material) on moodle so you have to attend. Tests are terribly specific, only reason I have an A is because I'm very good at memorizing. You'll have 30 pages of notes to memorize details of before each test.
I took her in class and she talks low while she is lecturing and rarely answers any questions if you ask during class. Her power points are not the lecture material notes you need for her test. You must go to class and write down what she says for the test. She does not provide study guides and she does not post the lecture material on Moodle.
Hard at first, but once you get the hand of it, it's simple enough. I had a 60% at the beginning and ended with an A; don't get scared and drop.
Lectures are confusing so studying for the tests is kinda hard but she gives a paper for extra credit after every test which brought me from a C to an A.
She isn't the worst professor out there but she is not far off from it. She moves way TOO fast on notes so be prepared to get notes from others in the class. Also, if anything DO NOT MISS CLASS if you do you will be behind and the makeup tests are all essay questions so good luck.
If you have to take this professor take her class online, you will do so much better. I personally have taken her in person and online and I did way better online than in person. She isn't the best but there is a way to make it around her class and it's taking it online.
This class was absolutely ridiculous. If you can, avoid taking her at all costs. If you do not write down exactly what she says during lectures, there is no way you can pass the class. I am typically a great student with straight A's every semester, but this class brought me down.
I would stay away from taking her classes. The material isnt hard, but she is very confusing and doesnt take time to answer questions. Would not take her class again.
Good class. Learned amazing stuff about my home state. Have to take lots of notes and You have to study for tests.
Really nice lady, but she hates cell phones. Good class.
Loved the class. You must study.
Easy class very organized
Hard at first but gets easier once you learn how to take the tests. Simple quizzes.
Straightforward class.
Taking her this summer. Not the easiest and not the hardest class. Three quizzes and four exams .
She's a hard grader. The powerpoints aren't really helpful for the test but that's all she gives you. I did not like her class.
The study material she gives you is power points, videos, and reading the textbook but her study material is not always on the exams. Her tests and quizzes are horrible, they are timed, lockdown browser and webcam, and also she makes them to where you can't go back to questions once you click next. She doesn't let you look at your quizzes or tests.
Do not take her if you care about your sanity.
Do not, under any circumstances, take professor McGraw online. I'm sure she's much better in person, but her online class has no direction whatsoever. 3 tests and a final, and only three assignments to help boost your grade. Studied for hours and still failed her tests because the questions are so random. Please take anyone else but her.
Don't take her. Her powerpoints are useless for her test and all she tells you is to memorize them to pass. Test are monitored and you cannot go back once you submitted an answer, very anxiety indicting. Homework is very straightforward but it's hardly worth anything so it just seems more like busy work. I did all I could and it was still hard.
Do not, under any circumstances, take this woman for online geography 103. Maybe her in-person class is better, but her online class was torture. Only 3 small assignments and 3 big test grades plus the final. Her only instruction was "study the powerpoints" and even upon studying for hours, half of the class could not make a grade above a C.
Awful. 3 assignments, 3 tests, and the final are the only grades. She gives a few videos, 1-3 30+ page PowerPoints, and chapter reading. Tells you to memorize slides to pass but many tests questions aren't in any assigned reading. Trick and poorly worded questions. lockdown with webcam and can't go back. only reviews grades in her office.
The three quizzes were extremely easy but the tests were so hard. After weeks of studying the highest i could make was a 74. She talks so quiet and asks for feedback on her teaching methods but if you actually give critiques, she gets so mad and defensive. Avoid her if you can. Easily my most skipped class. Her negative attitude was exhausting.
This course is very fast pace. She has a lot of quizzes. You will need the textbook!
This professor has the hardest tests I have ever taken. The questions on the test are very dimly related to the subject that we had to study. Example: I studied that Louisiana produces a vast amount of crops; the question on the test would be: "How many types of sweet potatoes are there?". She takes away study material the day of the test as well.
I took this as a term 2 class, so it was very fast paced. we had one outline (500-1000 words) due every other week and on the other weeks we had exams (50 questions). Her exams were a little tough, but manageable. She does take away study material the day of the exam. She was very easy to get in touch with and always helpful when emailing her.
The professor doesn't teach. Students are expected to learn and study from textbooks and PowerPoint. Powerpoints are summarized to the point that everything is unclear or filled with unnecessary information. If you work & go to school full time expect to struggle and fail. Course is unreasonable for the subject matter.
It's kinda like she wants you to fail. Took her online, power points were super summarized and unclear/unhelpful. Zero explanation for anything. She removes all material like 24 hours before the exam so you aren't able to go back and look over things last minute. I've never heard anything good about her in person either but online it's just awful.
I have never hated a class the way I hate this class.
Genuinely one of the worst classes I've had the displeasure of taking. She talks incredibly quiet and refuses to give clear answers to questions. Avoid if possible.
Hardest most boring class ever, There's no structure and it's genuinely super hard to understand/keep up. Please avoid this class if you can. The university needs a refresher on Geo322 courses.
Mrs. Molly was amazing! Yes you only have 8 assignments 4 quizzes and 4 exams. She was very easier.
No study guides, switches the test up sometimes from what we learned, only 4 quizzes & 4 exams no in between help. Would not recommend her if this course is needed for you to pass.
LOVE HER!! TAKE HER!! SHE IS THE BEST!!
She's not a bad professor, but I would avoid taking the class if you have the chance. You have 4 tests and 4 quizzes (each worth 30 points). She talks quietly and her presentations aren't great - so you have to try and listen to everything she says. It isn't that difficult of a class, but be prepared to take good notes and show up EVERY class.
