Aside from the more left slant that Molly has in her teaching style( a joke the Molly will get if she ever reads this), she is one of the best teachers I ever had, and I will apply many the things I leaned from her in my classroom. I hope she gets mroe Ed classes in the future.

VERY disinterested in taking this couse, but had to to punch the academic ticket. Molly did a great job in keeping it interesting and engaging despite the fact I was there against my will. She's a top quality instuctor. If she's teaching a course in your major, you ought to be registering for her classes, IMO.

She is a nice lady no question about it and the work is really simple. Just go to class and do your group work, attendance is worth 50 points as well. Only complaint is she's a hardcore liberal who loves Michael Moore and thinks he's the greatest guy in the world. Still one of the better classes I've taken though.

Molly is a wonderful person, she brings more to the classroom than just the material. She is an easy grader, but really gets the facts across to you in a clear manor. as long as you dont miss more than 3 days you will get an A in this class!!! it def changed the way i see things! a good college course, take this class!!!!!

She is very easy if you go to class. her tests which are 3 total with the final are streight from the notes. Lots of note taking but its ok. very fair and easy grading as well.

I really enjoyed this class, although I thought it was just a easy A I really learned a lot and had fun. It was the first class I ever wanted to wake up and attend. She is cool and very vibrant. Cool ass teacher and very nice. You will have to read some and write papers but she is very open to everyones opinion and feelings.

Fun teacher, class is is, show up and do the assignments. Shows lots of Michael Moore stuff (ie two documentaries and encourages you to read one of his books) other than that good class

This class is just like health in high school except for the teacher...she really is the best at NIU. Nicest and coolest teacher you'll ever have and the work isn't hard at all...everyone should take this class!

I am in the MWF 8 am class, ans normally I would dread going to an 8 am class, but this one I love going to. It is fun and usually pretty easy. However, on Monday she forgot to tell my class about a paper, so she told us today. Its 4 pages long and is due FRIDAY. That is seriously too little time. I prefer to put time into my papers, but I cant now

I absolutely LOVE this class!! The reason being I think its Molly...shes an excellent teacher and she makes learning sooo much fun!!! In fact I'm taking another one of her classes next semester!!! Take any of her classes you won't regret it!!!

I can't express how AWESOME of a teacher Molly is and how great her class is! DEFINITELY TAKE THIS CLASS WITH MOLLY! You won't regret it! I had to take it for teacher cert. but I'm so happy I did! Even though I had opposing views with her I learned SO much and loved it! She's so enthusiastic about teaching... and she's just so dang fun!!!

Molly's class is one of the easiest I've ever had. She's fun and enlightening, but also extremely liberal and tends to Conservative/Bush bash ALOT! If you can put up with Far-Left-Wing political/social rants, then you'll be fine.

I'd have to say she is extremely left-winged, makes anyone who has a different viewpoint feel indirectly like they are just "uninformed rich people" I guess she just feels passionate for what she believes in, which makes her a great professor. WOW! There are so many wonderful things to say about her. Molly is spectacular! She takes students outside of their comfort zones and challenges them to think outside the "box". She's a great leader and she listens to you. She makes education meaningful and exciting. She's a fair grader-- no quizzes or exams. I strongly recommend her!

If you need to take 201 or just a interdisciplinary gen ed, take this class with her. She seems liberal, but she's all about making class fun and useful in real life. Practically everybody gets an A in her class, just participate. She's totally awesome!

I LOVE Molly! She is with out a doubt the best professor I have had at NIU. She is one of the few prof who genuinely cares about her students. Class is interesting and fun to go to. Great professor... I've taken all of her classes offered by niu. very down to earth. If you go to class and turn in assignments, you will get an A, and if you dont, just ask and she will give you a fairly easy extra credit assignment. Mollyl really cares about the student and helps you through hard times. She also goes out drinking at bars/parties.

Took this class for gen ed credit but I would have taken it if it wasn't. Great class, great teacher! Molly is definitely the best teacher at NIU! Really down to earth, very helpful and wants you to learn. Learned more in this class then any other at NIU. I HIGHLY recommend Molly if you have to take 201

Molly is a true revolutionary teacher and uses her classroom to help students understand the planet and give it some hope so that it may heal. I loved this class and recommend it to everyone. My revolution is not out of hatred for others but LOVE for my people.

Molly is a great teacher. This class is fun to attend, and I learned a lot. It is also a very easy class...almost impossible not to get a good grade! You do have to go to class though, because attendance is a big part of the grade.

Awesome teacher! Fun class! She is laid back yet very energetic and keeps you awake the entire time, you will find yourself not wanting to leave that class to go to your next one. She is great at what she does and is a great person. Work load is easy, mostly personal reflections. No right or wrong answers in grading just how much effort you put in.

Great teacher, easy A, only one paper to write (one page)during the entire class. If you miss a class you can make it up on Friday at an open swim.

Molly is truly the greatest professor at Northern Illinois. She is not only fun, easy going, and passionate about teaching. She is out for the well-being of her students and an inspiration. she spends 30 hours making a book to be bought for $15.00, just for her students! I really liked the class but I thought that a lot of the time she was very once sided in her arguments and was kind of rude in the way she addressed the other side. Overall though i really like Molly and thought she was a great teacher.

I went into that class without any expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Not only does Molly make class fun she makes sure that we're learning in the process as well. Best teacher I have ever had!! She allows you to actually say how you feel/what you think. I will never forget the experiences I had in her class. There is a fair amount of work, but it is all very interesting and opinion based. There are relatively no wrong answers and she is genuinely interested in every single one of her students.

I loved Molly! She is really nice and cares about all her students. I lost my brother and she was there and always checked on me. Every other professor did not care and just blew me off. But staying on topic, she was a great and loved her job. She was really into the topics she was teaching!

She absolutely loves Paulo Freire and he wrote about how teachers should not fake neutrality in the classroom because no one is ever neutral and students can think critically. I had a night class but her energy made the class stay awake. Does not like it when you leave class early and gives a lot of survey clicker questions to see that you did attend class. Test were easy if you attend class, take notes, and do the reading. If you do all of that the class will not be hard at all.

Molly is extremely passionate about what she teaches and does not like it when you get up and leave in the middle of her lectures. Her energy kept everyone awake and made class entertaining. Exams are easy if you attend class, do the readings, and take notes.

She's funny and really friendly! Test are easy. It helps a lot to attend every class. Makes learning interesting and fun. Very passionate about her subjects and very helpful. Homework is assigned but it's very easy. Do the work and you'll get an A. And there is group work in classes of 200+ students to make class less boring. 6 stars!!

Molly is a great instructor. She doesn't really sugarcoat too much of the topics we're talking about. She's a very caring and loving instructor. Probably the most caring and loving instructor on campus.

She is one of the most inspirational people I have ever come into contact with. She truly cares about every one of her students, even the ones who are disconnected and seem to not care. She has a huge heart and all of her assignments are fun to do. The only way you will fail is if you just straight up don't do the assignments.

This teacher is amazing! She can ramble a little but if you show effort then you will pass. The tests are online and easy and the projects are simple and done online. I was close to an A at the end of the semester (3 points away) and she gave it to me without batting an eye! She is so sweet and I would take more of her classes! Thank you Molly!

Molly Swick is by far the best teacher I have ever had. She is such an open-minded, respectful person unlike other professors I've had. She allows everyone to voice their opinions in class and the assignments are easy because they're mostly opinion based. She's my spirit animal, I love her.

She is an incredible woman. She possesses an ample amount of knowledge regarding social injustices and cares about her students. It was a real shame most of her students did not participate in class. Oh by the way, she is also really hot, had the biggest crush on her, so that's a plus.

She was fantastic. Great personality and really is passionate about what she is teaching. I would recommend her to anyone. She likes to build personal connections even in a 200 person lecture hall.

10/10 teacher! i just finished her intro to public health class and if i hadn't finally been accepted into a nursing college i was 100% ready to change my major to public health because of her. her lectures feel very personal even though there was 200 other students. book was dry but shes looking for a better one and the papers are super casual.

Molly has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the field of education. Any education majors should take her if you can! I learned and absorbed so much from the way she teaches. I also admire her passion for social justice. A very enjoyable class. Show up to class and just put some thought into assignments and you will do well.

Molly is great Professor for Intro to Public Health. She cares about her students, and has a passion for teaching. Molly has online open book tests. Come to class to watch clips and for info on the test. Teams meeting with classmates are required. Molly gives out a lot of extra credit, she really wants students to learn and to pass.

Molly is one of the most caring professors you'll ever meet. She wants to know everyone on a personal level, something you can't find on most campuses. She is very outspoken and funny. She is a one of kind professor.

Molly tries to preset you with the most current information she can find. The exams cover material from every source, the textbook, class notes, the syllabus, what she does and says in class, and the power points she posts. She loves group work and you will have "team meetings" almost every Wednesday. The textbook chapters are long and recommended.

Great easy grading teacher. LOTS OF EXTRA CREDIT. exams are 2 hours long but pretty easy if you have book and lecture slides open.

I've never seen a professor that cares more about her students than Molly does. Yes there is a decent amount of papers and homework but they are interesting assignments. She is so caring and genuine and that creates such a positive environment. You do need to go to class though because that counts for a lot of points. Take her classes!!!
