GREAT teacher. She makes class fun. We had a lot of interesting discussions. There are weekly quizzes, but they're easy if you go to class. She's young, fun, laid back, and actually remembers what it was like to be in college, so she tries not to stress you out...probably my fave prof. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

She was my favorite teacher that I ever took in high school or college. There are weekly quizzes that take 5 minutes, and she lets you out of class almost every day a half hour early. She is the nicest person with a great personality. I recommend this class to everyone!!

I'm taking her online class. Was frustrated and emailed her. She got back to me within 2 hours! Not sure about you but I'm not used to prof's actually responding. Really cares about students. Most grad classes are a blow-off. Not this one. You learn a ton and actually enjoy it. Welch-Deal is so not the typical teacher. So much better!

This is a weekend class that I'm in right now. She kept us focused, taught a ton of information, was clear with expectations, grading, etc. Totally respected everyone in the class. So motivational. I didn't even think about skipping. Loved that she didn't have any "favorites," treated everyone the same and with respect.

And there was no final... as long as you showed up to EVERY class, which wasn't too hard. It's an easy A, but you'll learn a lot from it. I would definitely take another one of her classes.

Her lectures are relevant and easy to listen to, she gives great feedback, is always clear on what is expected, and welcomes questions/discussion. There are never surprises. I have Molly for Abnormal Psych. It's a great class; very interesting lectures and examples to help us better grasp subjects. This class isn't just memorization. It's lots of application. Tests are hard but graded fairly and she will let you re-take tests or do group-tests if necessary. Easy to see why she's the favorite teacher on campus.

So she is awesome. She is available via text, call, email, whatever. She has a lot of outside experience in the counseling field and brought that to the classroom. She does not assign unnecessary assignments, they were all things we should know in the future. She is really cool. She gives two mental health days where you can miss class w/o penalty

I took this class over Winterm, and it was so easy. Dr. Welch was great with feedback, and was very encouraging when it came to tougher assignments. I'd definitely take her again for an in-class lecture. She seems like a nice lady with easy grading criteria; as long as you take the time to read and learn the material, you'll pass.

She is an amazing professor that cares about her students success, not only in the classroom but as an individual as well. She gives her personal cell phone number so students can call or text with questions/problems. She is very understanding and is so sweet. She has helped me with many things unrelated to class.

She was able to make everything clear from the beginning of class for PSYCH 350. Yet, all assignments would need to be done outside of class. So, basically you just need to manage your time well outside of class, but the assignments are not as difficult along with the final exams. I would love to take this class again if I could :)

This was an easy class. There were no tests, no midterm or final, and fairly simple assignments. However, it is self paced so you have to keep on task. As long as you do that and follow assignment instructions, you'll pass with a good grade.

Every semester is different with Molly, but still structured enough to learn and apply.

I took Abnormal psych online and there were only a few assignments. You do four exams, three research summaries, and a final case on a movie character. It was very straight forward and easy to get, She always gave good feedback to my research summaries and you get to choose the subject. (It just has to be related to book) Would pick her again

I've taken Molly for Psych of Adjustments and Positive Psych and I can only say good things about her. She is incredibly respectful in her lectures. By the way, notes aren't necessary to pass her class. For her "exams" they are all discussion based and you may have to use the textbook on occassion. She's a godsend.

Molly is by far the best professor I have ever had, mostly by her caring and outgoing personality and her desire to make everyone cared for and comfortable. In this class, however, I didn't learn anything except writing a paper about a celebrity and a power point about myself.

She is really open to feedback and loves to hear what you have to say. The class was easy, and she cares about your well-being so if you're behind, she'll be understanding.

Such a kind person. She responds really fast when you reach out (she has your text her phone number), and is always willing to offer accommodations. Dr Welch really knows what she's talking about and tells great stories along with lectures. Absolutely would take again!
