I hate the fact that for the H.W we have to write down the whole question. Gives H.W. quizzes to check if u do your H.W. No calculators allowed. She goes fast when teaching. covers from 1-2 sections a day during summer session. She is very helpful. My suggestion to her is to be more energetic or happy, since she's always serious when teaching.

Very nice and cool professor. Always willing to help students in class and during office hours. Mrs. Panchal is serious about teaching her students. Her homeworks are reasonable and test guides definitely comes up on the test. Overall, she is great!

Stats is not an easy class, but prof is really clear. She is very nice is you try hard. some prof put the hardest questions on the exams, Panchal puts the easier ones which helps. No suprises, just do the work and you will get an A. Take Panchal or Siswanto. Don't take judge.

Panchal is the best math teacher I have had so far. I hate math w a passion but i really enjoy her class=) All those complaining about her are most likely not giving it enough effort. Stop complaining! She's really sweet if you are there for the right reasons.

I really learned alot in her class. She teaches very clearly, and shes well organized with her lectures. Shes also a very fair grader, drops lowest scores, gives helpful reviews. I know many people have posted very good comment about Professor Panchal, I honestly feel that she sometimes lacks clarity and preparation for her students. I wish she gave more relevant examples in lecture to the homework she assigns us, and helped us a little more on the exam reviews. She likes to brief over sections alot.

I had taken her a while ago and did not do so good but this time around just taking the class by its self much better. Actually had fun and plus she gave us a project to work on which was really fun to do.

Ms. Mona Panchal is a great professor: crystal clear lectures, fair grading, approachable when confused with material, and of great quality overall. Her Calculus 2 class was one of the best math classes I have taken. She challenges you without making you feel stupid. She lets students make up some points on exams. TAKE HER!!

She is one of the BEST Math teachers I have ever taken here at ELAC. She is Crystal Clear on everything, we worked from MathXl, but regardless she will still go over the problems with you till you understand what you are doing. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. TAKE HER even if you're have problems with math she will make it CLEAR enough for you. LOVE LOVE HER

Great professor. She breaks down everything for the class to understand. Explains the problem or/and question until every single one of us understands. Use MathXL to do homework but 50-75% time does not match with lecture but she will answer them before due date. Highly recommended only spring/fall because she goes by fast. Test are hard, quiz easy

Highly recommend you take any math course with her. She is clear and very visual, ASK if you have questions!! I took her for Winter she'd go over HW questions and then lecture. Quizzes & Tests were not too difficult but not easy. *Very chill and easy to approach.

This class was my all time favorite because lectures were so clear it made it so easy to study. I am not saying it's an easy class; therefore, students are required to do all H.W/ Pop Quizes/ Tests to pass successfully. So this is the class students take if they want to learn because you'll actually learn.

Excellent teacher. She has a lot of patience, makes it fun, makes you go up to the board. I never liked that part b/c is not my strong suit. She made eye contact w/you to see if you understand. One of the best Math teachers I have ever had, in my entire life! Hardly ever utilizes the book, yet she still manages to teach very efficiently. She writes everything out and makes sure she does everything in her power to allow her students to do well. Her final covers everything!!!!!!!!!! so if you fail that and you have a C in the class, good luck. I didn't pass her class and she took a long time to submit grades, so I was not able to register on time for spring. total b/s. You will learn in her class, but just have to remember it.

This Professor is amazing!! I'm a average student busy with life and trying to take classes. She understands and she helps you as much as she can offer. Crystal clear from the start to the end. Make sure to check the online homework every day and take notes. Everything she covers is going to be on the tests she gives so there are never any surprises. There will always be at least one quiz every week and everything she covers from the beginning of the class WILL be on the Final. Great prof.

There are two take home quizzes per week. She may be lenient in the first few weeks but she does not accept them late at all after that. Lectures are very clear and her tests are hard enough to make you study but easy enough so you don't have to spend hours and hours of studying. Expected a C, finished with a B. Also, her final is not very hard.

Professor Panchal is a great teacher. She is strict but fair. She gives us surprise quizzes all the time whenever she feels like it, but don't worry if you did the homework than you should be fine. I'm taking her as long as I can while I keep moving up in math.

I took her 8 week class, she moves at a fast pace, but she has to because it is a short term class. NO CALCULATORS, you can skip a class, but if you know the material and if you do good in final exam you'll pass. HW are online, she drops the lowest scores in a quiz, test and HW. If you are not really good at math, don't take a short term class

Professor Panchal is AMAZING. That does not mean this class is really easy. You have to work for your grade. She explains anything as much as you need it. If you don't understand something ASK. Every morning she asks if anyone has questions about the homework. uses MathXL for homework, you can see your overall grade as well.

I took Prof Panchal for a 6am class and it was a difficult class due to how early it was. She was excellent! Her demeanor and attitude every morning really made it so easy to stay awake and active. Whenever I had a question in my head ready to ask it, she would answer it before I even asked. She will go over it until you understand it.

Took for math 115 at first she can seem intimading and hard but quickly you realize she does care that each of her student passes 2 quizzes per week but it is based on what she lectured recently her lecutures are very easy to understand she does drop 2 quizzes and 2 chapter tests

I took her hybrid class. The quizzes and homework are much harder than the actual exams. Homework and Quizzes are done online through MathXL. Exams in class. She can rush through lessons because we meet only once a week,and she did point out that we had to do a lot of studying on our own at the beginning of the semester.

She is the BEST math prof I have EVER had. I have taken Stats before, &dropped it. I suffer from math anxiety, and her clear lessons and her patience really helped! But she is very good and doesn't use the book so you don't have to spend the money on the book. The tests are NOT surprises! you get tested on the study guide. Would DEF recommend.

Great! Professor Panchal gives lectures that are directly related to homework and quiz/test problems. Weekly quizzes. Chapter tests. textbook was accessible. She has office hours. She is very helpful and willing to correct any mistakes. When she was absent she brought in a great sub and she updates her syllabus to help students plan and study.

Professor Panchal is a very supportive teacher. Tests are in person. Not proctored. She drops your lowest test grade. She doesn't offer much extra, but when she does it'll count as a test grade. Homework is graded based on completion not if it's correct. The lectures are recorded and you can look back at them. Overall, Dr Panchal is very supportive

Took class during the Summer and dropped after 2 weeks. If you have not taken math in a while, dont take this class during winter or summer. Originally enrolled in a different instructor's MATH241S for the previous semester, but had to withdraw because I couldn't keep up. Enrolled in Professor Panchal's MATH241S in the short summer semester but felt much more at ease and comfortable asking questions. Best math professor I've had at ELAC so far.

I enjoyed professor Panchals class. Math has not been an easy subject for me and Professor Panchal gives great lessons to make you understand what she is teaching. I took this course during winter, having to memorize formulas was difficult for me since I have not taken a math class for the past 22yrs. However I advise everyone to take her class.

Prof. Panchal is very straightforward, her notes and breakdown concepts were very clear and organized. I took her statistics class in Spring 25, she offers office hours to answer students' questions, Overall Math isn't an easy subject, but my experience with her was quite unforgettable. Most of your grade will come from Exams and Quizzes (60%-65% of your grade). However, if you do the homework, ask questions, take advantage of tutoring and office hours, you will do great. Each exam has an extra credit problem at the end you can do. Do the homework, participate, study, you will do great. Professor Panchal is a great professor.
