If you are having trouble learning from Dr.Wahby, then I have nothing to say. She is very demanding but if you put your 80%+ effort then you will do just fine. DO NOT MISS LECTURE OR LAB. Quizzes in every class, so cover your lecture on the same day you get it. In general, she is the BEST prof. you can have, if you want to Learn and Pass CHM 1050.

Dr Wahby is the deal. One of Macombs top professors. She knows her stuff and can relate it to students. She is very approachable. You will have to work HARD in this calss to get an "A" but it is possible. Do all the homework she assigns, not just the odds! It doesnt hurt that she is easy on the eyes!

Chem 1170 is not for wimps!! She taught us everything we needed to know with a smile and compassion. What a great lady!! I wish she would teach chem 1180!!

The class in itself isn't easy, but she is a great teacher! Homework is manditory but relatively easy points. Labs aren't hard and she is helpful. Tests are moderate, but are managable...would take her again!

Great Teacher, I would tell everyone to to her if you have to take a chem class. I went into the class not knowing anything about chemistry and walked out knowing a lot. If you take good notes then you will do good on the test!

I used to do so bad in high school chemistry, although, my teachers knew nothing about the subject. She is my favorite teacher of all time and I am actually upset that she doesn't teach higher chem classes above 1060. Had to brush up on Chem before I attempted 1170 and I'm glad I took Dr. Wahby!! All day Tuesday class was tough but got of class by 1:30p every time. I just wish that she was teaching the S/S CHEM-1170 :( She kinda drills the material in and do the hw b/c it helps a ton and its 10 free points. Explains labs!! I don't like chemistry at all and I suck at it, but I took CHEM 1 from her and got a 4.0. It is A LOT of hard work, but it is doable. She is very clear and extremely helpful and enthusiastic. I would take her over any chem professor at OU.

Dr. Wahby is without question the best prosessor in existance. The subject matter can be challenging, but the format she lays it out in makes it easy to understand. If you have the opportunity to take one of her classes and don't, you are doing yourself and your education an extreme injustice. She's everything a professor should be and more!

Professor Wahby is the best professor I have ever had. I wish every teacher taught the way she taught. The class averages were very high and the tests were very fair. Books aren't really needed except for the fact that you need it in order to log into Owl. I wish I could take her for every class.

Took the 6 hour, once a day class. Pretty rough, but labs and classes ended early. Wahby is a great teacher, but the tests are worded completely different from her lectures. She thoroughly explains labs and reviews before tests. Sometimes she can make you feel stupid for asking questions to reassure yourself on a topic. Emails back quickly.

Dr. Wahby's class was way harder than Dr. Champagnes because with those multiple choice tests you never know what is going to be on them. The chemistry department is pretty sweet, too bad their all star player in every chemistry class wimped out on organic chemistry 2. I said take organic chemistry 2 you might win a nobel prize. Chemistry is neat.

She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I took her all day Chem class and at first I thought that Chemistry from 8am-3:30pm was gonna be tough, but with her it's SO do-able. If you need to take chemistry look no further. Best professor I think I ever had. If you can't get an A in her Chem 1050 than you probably will never get an A in any other class. Of course there is homework, quizes and tests as with all Chem classes. Show up, do the online homework and it's smooth sailing. She sincerely wants students to do well.

Excellent teacher. I was honestly scared of chem before I took her class and now I feel like a pro. Studying is very helpful but it does not take much time or effort as she gives you everything you need to know in her lecture. No lab quizzes so that is a plus. Lots of assignmentsquizzes to cushion grade. Not hard if you keep up on the material.

One of the best professors I ever had. She was always available for help and would go over anything you didn't understand again. You are graded based on labs, homework, extra credit, and exams. She has students do problems in class as practice and calls on someone to give an answer. Literatly the best teacher! she cares about her students and will help you if you do not understand something! she wants students to ask questions and truly cares about her students. DO YOUR OWL HOMEWORK IF YOU WANT TO PASS! Quiz everyday, but she tells you what shes testing you on so super easy! Exams are hard, but if you study you'll do good!

AMAZING PROFESSOR

If spend time on HW and complete all assignments easy A. Dr. Mona only requires 4 exams to be taken. The final exam is optional and can be used to replace the lowest grade out of the 4 exams. She tells you what will be on the exam, and will sit there and explain anything as many times as needed. She provides numerous examples and a practice exam.

Shes fantastic! All her lecture videos are online. She has weekly Zoom meetings to answer questions. She responds to emails right away. Really great professor.

Lectures were pre-recorded videos and Professor Wahby held optional zoom sessions each week to answer questions. There was a 10 question quiz for each chapter and a lab assignment due each week. Additionally, there were four exams and a final which could replace lowest score. E.C. was offered. I really enjoyed this class! Would recommend

Professor Wahby is great. I had her completely online for the 16 week course and it was a very good experience. She has pre-recorded lecture videos for each of the 10 chapters that are very detailed. There is graded homework for each chapter and the labs are easy. Do notes, STUDY 30 mins-1 hour a day, and practice concepts and you will get an A.

Shes the best teacher Ive taken in awhile, shes so nice when you have a question and truly wants to help you understand what you dont get. Chemistry is hard regardless what teacher you have, but you definitely want a teacher like her for this type of class!

Chemistry is a hard class so you have to study but Dr Wahby post her own videos to watch lectures with. Her exams are based off her study guide and practice quizzes. Prof Wahby is an amazing professor. She explains concepts extremely well and goes through them step by step. During my course, she would host zooms where you could ask questions before a quiz or exam and gives you the material to know and study. She records all of her lectures and if you take notes and study, you should do great.

At first, she may seem intimidating and a little strict, but she is one of the nicest professors at MCC. She takes time before exams to review material, gives a list to study for, and gives extra credit on the next class after exams. If you put in the effort and don't blow off the class, you'll find she's a sweet person with a good sense of humor.

It's a hard class. but she does offer so much help that I wish I took more advantage of. It's a lot of studying especially if chemistry is not your best subject. Her videos make it easier to understand than just the books and it's nice to have all the material she gives to use any time you need it, she also makes herself available when we need help

Was struggling and thought I would not pass but she helped the whole class by giving us help before exams and study guides to lead us in the right direction.

Dr. Wahby is one of the best professors I have had at Macomb. She has a lineup of lecture videos available online for you each week, you just have to put the effort in to watch them and take detailed notes. She explains all of the labs before you even touch anything which was very useful for me. She provides office hours every week, GO TO THEM!

Dr. Wahby is one of my favorite professors that I have had at Macomb. Chemistry is a hard class, but her videos prepare you well for the exams if you take notes and pay attention. Labs are fun and pretty easy. She genuinely cares for her students and wants to see you exceed and get the best grade possible. Take her for any Chem class!

All lectures were online for this class and only had labs in person. Everything on the exams were straight from the lecture videos. Very fun and helping at all times!

Dr. Wahby explains chemistry so very well. She tells you exactly what to expect on the exams. If you pay attention, do the homework and study you can easily get an A. She helped me out a lot during office hours and after class.

Dr. Wahby is truly one of the best and most caring chemistry professor. She offers so much extra credit, explains everything very clearly, and is always available outside of class. She puts in so much effort into her lectures. This is a difficult class, but as long as you attend the lectures and put in the work you will pass!!

Dr. Wahby is the best instructor. I really enjoyed her class. For a 1050 it was very useful to learn the basics from her first. I really recommend you take a class with her.

Don't get me wrong, the course wasn't easy by any means, but Dr. Wahby is so compassionate and really wants to see you succeed! She gives you the tools, you just gotta use them. There are many assignments and opportunities to make up bad scores on tests and quizzes. She's very knowledgeable and obviously loves what she does. Take her if you can!

Dr. Wahby explained Organic and Biochemistry SO well. Tough class but if you study you will do well. Lots of extra credit opportunities.

I took Dr. Wahby last semester and learned so much from her. I am now at OU and doing great in Gen Chem 2 because she prepared me very well. This class is not for wimps. If you work hard and do everything she tells you to do you will succeed.

Dr. Wahby is a great teacher. Her lectures were very useful and not boring. She does 4 in-person exams, but also tells you what's gonna be on it. Her labs were also good, too, and she was lenient with the lab grading. Dr. Wahby always offered out support and is easily my favorite chem professor.

Dr. Wahby's class was tough, but using Unstuck ai and the free textbook really helped me ace it. She's a caring professor who wants you to succeed.

Professor Wahby is an incredible teacher! She explains information well, encourages her students, and gives extra credit opportunities that are educational and interesting. I took Intro to Organic and Biochem from her. You don't have to use the book much as long as you really listen to the lectures and take notes.

Professor Wahby was great, she literally tells you exactly whats going to be on exams and gives the last years exam questions to you so you can understand how the test is formatted. She would review the written portion of the exam with everyone in class the week before exams. Her lectures were short and straight forward. Gave a ton of extra credit.

I took Professor Wahby for my first chemistry class as well as having no background in chemistry. This class is not an easy A but overall if you study and watch her videos, you can get an A. She is always willing to help students!
