She is a very nice teacher! She loves her job and she loves to teach. She was very helpful. If we didn't understand something she would hold extra sessions before a test to study the material which really helped. She is really nice!

Prof Feazell was great. This is the last class I have to pass before I can go to nursing school. I have taken it once already with another professor and got a D. Dr. Feazell explains things so much more clearly. I not only passed but I think I actually understand OChem now! Great Teacher! I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent professor. I came into the class with no enthusiasm, but Prof. Feazell made things so clear, step-by-step, and easy to understand that it ended up being my favorite class so far. She will happily explain things as often as needed. The homework and quizzes are very reasonable and useful. Very friendly, cheerful, engaged, knowledgeable.

Prof Feazell was very good in class. She never made you feel stupid, always tried to make class interesting, and didn't have any problem delving into the material for those who didn't understand. She's very energetic and likeable. Class was death by ppt, but material was posted. Made studying easy.

Dr. Feazell is wonderful!!! She is passionate about chemistry, a great lecturer, and cares about her students doing well. She is also very, very organized. She grades tests and quizzes quickly, and all of the class materials for the entire semester are posted online on day 1. I've taken 2 of her classes already, & just signed up for a third : )

LOVE LOVE Dr. Feazell!!! She goes over everything and checks multiple times to make sure everyone is ok! Chm is a hard class, but she makes it fun. I just signed up to take 112 with her! If you want to do well, study and come to class. She rocks

Probably one of the best professors I've ever had in my college career. Hands down, I enjoyed her class a lot. She not only taught organic chemistry well and clearly, she made it entertaining and while making sure we understood the material as we got along. Her test aren't bad at all(read,practice problem,hw), loved her class! definitely sign up!

GREAT GREAT Teacher! She's so nice and very funny. She really loves organic chemistry and you can see that. She has a slight accent, but it's nothing distracting. The tests are not hard if you study and practice for them by reading ahead, doing the homework and the extra credits. She drops 1 exam and 2 Hws. Take Her !! Im glad I Did :)

She is a fantastic teacher. I never thought that I would actually enjoy taking Organic Chemistry. She made this class enjoyable. She is a great teacher, uses good examples, and is always available for office hours. I would recommend her to EVERYONE that needs to take ORGO. Do practice problems and HW before tests! You will do great.

Dr. Feazell is AWESOME! At first she can be a little intimidating but if you get to know her, she is super nice and helpful. She understands that chemistry isnt for everyone and she is really catering to that. She knows her stuff and uses her PP notes for the exams. If you have to take chem, I highly recommend her!

My wife and I took Orgo 2 together and both have to say that Dr. F is one of the most excellent professors that we have encountered. She knows Chemistry like the back of her hand, very knowledgeable and intelligent. Orgo is a tough class, but if you put in the time and work Dr. F will provide the tools necessary to achieve an A in the class.

She was one of my best professor. Test was little hard, but you can do it. If you dont skip the class, you can get good grades. All test is from her lecture. I learned a lot. Best of best.

Absolute favorite teacher at NOVA! Ended up taking all of my chemistry classes and could not have asked for a better teacher. Chemistry is hard and she gives you everything you need to pass all you have to do is study and do your part. Office hours are amazing, shes always there and always willing to help. She's also really funny!

She is a great teacher. I was scared to death of organic chemistry but she told us to make sure we did the reading before class, and worked the practice problems she gave us. She is compassionate and answers all questions, and even asks the class to email questions. She wants students to succeed. Excellent professor.

She is very energetic during class and likes to have the class participate during lectures. She's constantly making jokes which makes class a lot more relaxed and fun. She's not all fun and games though. You still have to do the work and apply yourself in this class to get an A, but it's totally doable if you do. I highly recommend her!

From previous feedback from my friends, Ochem was one of the worst classes ever. Took this class with Prof. Feazell over the summer, she was amazing! Got a B on the class, I'm still surprised. Be sure to do the homework and to read the material before class thou. It is not an easy class, so do your part. She drops the lowest exam and 2 lowest HWs.

Orgo II was somehow much harder than Orgo I. I ended up going to Dr. Feazell's office hours after class most days. She helped me with the practice problems and re-explained all the problems I had trouble understanding in class. I ended up really spending about 10 hours a week on this class, and she made it bearable & even ENJOYABLE. She is amazing.

She is amazing ! Replies to emails so quickly and efficiently she is always willing to help and will show you all the steps unlike other professors. She knows chemistry is difficult but it is SO doable with her. Anyone that gets a bad grade flat out didn't try. If you study the lectures and practice exam, easy A

She is a great professor. The lectures were long but not boring. Dont expect to do nothing and get an A. It's a chemistry class and its hard. But she grades fairly. There are Four tests which she drops the lowest grade. She also drops a bunch of low grades for Quizes and labs.

Her lectures are clear and understandable. Read her slides, then practice, practice, practice, the WS paper and extra credit. She has a great sense of humor but do not let that make you think she is flexible. Her rules are in the syllabus and she will not give leniency for any reason.

Nicest professor I have ever had. I am a very anxious person and tend not to ask for help even when I need it, but her energy made me feel comfortable enough to do so. She has practice exams that you can do and turn in for points. She gives many quizzes but they prepare you for the exam & their dates are listed on the syllabus. No pop quizzes.

Mrs. Feazell is one of those professors who if you meet her halfway, she will go the distance. She gives many quizzes both in class and online, but that only prepares you + adds up! There are pre-exams and she will give extra credit if you turn them in before the exam. There is no possible way to fail this class unless you don't try at all.

Dr. Feazell is a solid professor that provides clear grading criteria and sticks to it. Every resource you need is provided on blackboard at beginning of semester. CHM is tough, but if you work hard you will succeed and understand the material. Lots of quizzes, but not worth a lot, and gives you extra practice before tests. Humor, made CHM fun.

Chem's terrible but Feazell makes it doable and fun. She posts lectures online that help a lot and there's a lot of things that get dropped so you'll do fine. The in class quiz is a group quiz of 3 people so make sure to choose them wisely and the class should be fun and an A is definitely manageable.

All of her power points are available on blackboard. Talks really fast on purpose so she can leave class as early as possible. Labs are extremely easy if you know how to follow instructions. She drops the lowest quiz and test grades which is awesome. Very friendly.

I cannot begin to express how glad I am to have her as my prof. She is lively and always ready to help her students. It is chemistry... you'll have to study. Prof. F is absolutely one of the best professors I have ever had, and I already have a Bachelors and Masters, so Ive seen it all! She is very organized and gives you all of the resources to succeed. She has designed the class in a way to help everybody get an A. Show up, do the work she assigns and the practice problems, and you will do great.

By far THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I tried to take Chm twice before and had to withdraw because I was just not understanding the material. Professor Feazell has a great teaching style. The text book is not required bc she records her lecture and uploads them on blackboard. TAKE HER! She is amazing and awesome and really wants her students to succeed.

Awesome teacher. I'll be taking Professor Feazell again for CHM 112. A bit of a tough grader, but tons of extra credit, and awesome lectures. Never had a class I enjoyed going to as much as this one. If you put an effort in and show up to every class, it's hard to fail.

She is great. Listen in class, she tells exactly what is on exams. If you can learn well on your own, her exams are straight from her power points and worksheets which she posts online. I enjoyed her class and the tests are not hard if you know what you are doing.

This class was really tough. GO TO CLASS. Her extra credit is what saves you in the end. I really enjoyed this class though, it is very challenging but an A is very possible. Find a good study group! Also, labs are fun!

Dr. Feazell provides you with EVERYTHING you need to pass this class. From ppts, youtube videos of her lectures/labs, add'n videos, practice worksheets and exams. If you use the resources she provides you'll do great. Lecture isn't mandatory, however, I would go cause she does a good job at explaining material.

Chemistry is hard to teach, and for me, also hard to learn. Mrs. Feazell understood my difficulties and was willing to speak to me after class about how I can improve my grades. Organic is hard but she tries to keep it from being awful. It is definitely possible to get an a or b but you really have to study. She is available outside of class to help. She's nice but she can seem mean or impatient sometimes. She drops 1 exam (not final), 2 quizzes, and 2 prelectures. The 5 exams are 500 points out of the 660 point total.

I loved this class so much! Dr. Feazell is such an amazing professor. Lectures are crystal clear. Still challenging material, but if you understand the lecture material you'll be fine. Overall this is a great class!

She does have a good spirit most of the time, but she rushes through PowerPoints and doesn't show us enough reactions. I would rather spend less time on words about the reaction and more on the actual reactions since that is how we are tested. The exams aren't horrible, they are very fair. However, they are very broad. Get Organic as a 2nd language

I am writing this after I have transferred from nova. I am currently taking orgo II in William and Mary, and to be honest, I am more grateful for Dr. Feazell everyday. If it weren't for her and the way she presented orgo I, I wouldn't be doing so good at my current class. She's amazing!!! You, of course, have to put in work, but she is real helpful

Dr. Feazelle is by far the best chemistry teacher I've had and this is my second bachelor's degree. She explains everything and cares greatly about her students. I advise you to read the chapter and watch her youtube videos before you go to class, then attend her class, and go back to solve all the chapter skill builders and practice questions.

Took the summer class and it was amazing! She didn't put too much content in each test and the final was optional since she drops the lowest test grade. If you go to the lectures and do the extra credit (good way to study for tests), then this class is easy to pass. She seemed really nice and cared about her students!

She is amazing, I also had her for CHM111. There is extra credit for each exam. At the end, she drops one quiz, one lab, and one exam. The most difficult chapters are 14&15. She also does not count sig figs! She has a lot of resources on her canvas as well like the class recordings and her youtube, which has videos of her powerpoint lectures!

I was worried about taking chemistry . But Dr. Feazell made her class so fun and interactive !! You can tell she truly loves the subject and is passion about teacher . One of the sweetest professors I've had! Homework and labs really help your grade, and she drops the lowest one or two from each category (labs, hw, exams). I took her Zoom class and most of the time she cut it short. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Professor Feazell has lecture videos on her youtube channel. She teaches material in a very easy way. She offers points during lecture that gets added to your exams. Exams are not hard, study from the powerpoint and extra credit. You can earn up to 5% all from extra credit. She has office hours and replies to emails fast. Just take her!

I hate chemistry with a burning passion, but she's the only professor who actually made it an ounce enjoyable. Plus, as long as you dedicate around 5 hours max to each upcoming exam and do your extra credit, that'll set you up to get an incredibly low F and still pass with an A.
