Neda can seem mean at first, but if you go to office hours she is very nice. She is willing to help, and understands that her students have other classes besides hers. She is very strict with what she wants, but that will help you know exactly what to do. Her quizzes and test are easy. but her final is hard, that will make ur grade drop.

She is a very nice professor and I enjoyed her class. The homework is very similar to the tests and quizzes so as long as you do your work you will get an A. The final is not too hard as well.

Honestly, she knows the information, but I could not really connect the information to the homework outside of class. She gave us very easy examples where as the homework and test study guides were extremely difficult, in comparison at least. The GA was absolutely fantastic at least. Dr. Neda is one of the best math teachers at UNLV. She is caring and will explain the problems to you until you get it. Make sure to go to the test reviews because she offers 5 points extra credit. Exams aren't that difficult, usually very similar to her homework questions she gives online.

She's alright. I wouldn't say she's the nicest professor. This was her first semester doing the final project, & it seemed like she didn't know what she wanted & expected us to figure it out. She did give us a chance to retake our first exam. However, gave no review for the final, so we kind of went in blind. Final wasn't cumulative for my semester

Horrible Professor. Every class period was spent yelling at us for 15 minutes for not knowing material. She began to do an oral pop quiz at the beginning of every class, which was graded so she took attendance very seriously. Group project was also a mess with her constantly yelling at everyone every class and micro-managing everything. Avoid.

Take her proofs class if you can! She really cares about teaching. She wants everyone to understand the material so she sometimes moves a little slow through the book. She gives lots of opportunity to correct mistakes on HW and tests too. The downside is that she does expect perfection by the end but with all the chances she gives its doable.

Hard material, and she expects us to know too much stuff for final and exams. Doesn't tell you what specifically you need to know so it makes studying difficult. Go to class and basically teach yourself the material. Good extra credit opportunities though.

Skip class? You won't pass.

Dr. Neda is a solid math professor. There's nothing tricky about her tests. If you've done the homework and took her practice tests, then there's no reason to not ace the exams. She cares deeply about student feedback and checks in with everybody during the semester to make sure they're getting what they need from her. I really like her.

I took this class in the summer so it was only 5 weeks long. She made an unbelievable amount of homework and notes due every day and we had to take practice tests for each 5 of the tests and the final. It was a massive amount of work for a summer class but in the end she uses all of that to buff up your grade, and she applies unexpected curves!

Overall, great professor

Dr Neda's class was a lovely experience. I was terrified to take Calc, let alone during Covid, but her class was so well structured that my anxieties easily melted away. My section had five exams and one final. Exams score were overwritten by one of the next exams if you did better. It had a lot of homework, but it was a lovely class.

If you get a higher grade on any of the tests or the exam throughout the semester she'll put the previous tests to that highest score if they were lower.
