Monique Doll is such a doll. Monique makes learning marketing interesting and fun. She won't hand you the answers but she definetly will point you in the right direction. I just had her for a 3 week Marketing course and it flew by so quickly and I found myself learning a great amount of knowledge. If you have to take marketing, get Monique!

Great professor, very energetic.

I just finished the 8 week online course. There is a decent workload, however, it is pretty easy and interesting. It was my first online class and I loved it! Take it, you have to do assignments every week but they are easy and fun.

A very fun teacher....really enthusiastic about marketing. As long as you do the case studies, participate, do group projects and do well on her tests, you will be fine. I totally recommend this teacher for marketing majors.

Best professor at Macomb. You would have to be an idiot to fail. Pay attention, do the work and I promise, she will make you interested in Marketing. Highly, highly recommended. Group project isn't as bad as it sounds. She makes it ok.

Super easy class and wonderful teacher! She absolutly loves her job and her students. I took the 3 week class over the summer and got an A , so her 16 week class would be a breeze i think. For all tests you get to use front and back of sheet of paper for a cheat sheet. Take her for an easy A.

Prof. Doll is an incredibly enthusiastic teacher who always finds a way to turn otherwise boring material into an exciting new endeavor for her students. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in marketing or other business majors.

Prof Doll is loves Marketing and tries very hard to promote it. Her class isn't really hard, unless you wind up doing a group project with morons. You will get an A if you study and do the work required. She also gives extra credit. I like marketing as much as a root canal, but if I had to take it again I'd choose her. BTW she HATES Kroger!

Took her for my first online class in an 8 week period and the class went perfectly. Because of her I am in love with online classes now. She always gives feedback and is extremely helpful.

Really hyper. You get to use a cheat sheet on every exam. Be prepared for group work. Psycho about cell phones. Either way, I liked her for the most part.

Had Monique for 2020 as well and both classes she made an impression on me. She teaches the class and it may not be conventional but you learn. Her classes learn she has quirks and that makes the class participate more. If you hate her class I recommend another major because Marketing is not your future. Best instructor at Macomb EVER!! Professional, fair and fun teacher.I learned a lot from Ms Doll in the mere 3 weeks our class ran-she gave us the confidence & support to handle such a demand. She is one of the most helpful teachers I've ever had, it's hard to find that anymore. TAKE HER CLASS - you will be happy you did.

It was a pretty rough class to take. It's definetely best as a 16 week course. Concentrated on "250 word minimum" a little too much, as opposed to the quality of some posts. (Sometimes you can't stretch things to 250 words without losing the quality). Got the grade I deserved with the effort I put forth

3 week summer class. I would have rather waited for the regular 16 wk class. You will have to do a group project which is difficult to do in 3 weeks, otherwise Monique is fun, knows her stuff and is obsessed with Kroger. Don't mess around though and put your head on your desk or interrupt her!

3 week summer course. A lot of work, but you will get it done. Monique is fun and loves her job. If you want to talk, text, sleep, or otherwise screw off, then do not take her class. She doesn't like those kind of students and neither do I!

Monique will do everything possible to make your success happen. She's charismatic, knowledgeable, and thorough. She clearly states her expectations. Very exciting, interactive, yet informative classes. Please don't mistake her "open discussion" class culture as an invitation to shoot down the material (or examples) she's teaching. A+. Professor Monique Doll is onf the very best teachers I've had at Macomb! She's brilliant, fun, and intelligent. Very gifted with what she knows. I learned so much from her in a very short time. I wish the class was longer, because I had a blast! Kudos to Professor Monique Doll!

Wonderful teacher. She really knows her material and gives you all the information you need. Examples are often used, which helps for remembering the material and is useful for exams. I would love to take more marketing courses just to have her again, she makes you look forward to class.

Love Love Love this Prof! She is super fun and class is so interesting. As long as you show up and pay attention and do some studying you will be fine. I wish she taught all marketing classes cause I would be first in line.

I really enjoyed taking MKTG 1010 with Professor Doll. She kept things light during her lectures while maintaining structure. The group project she assigned was fun to create. One thing to keep in mind is 50 points toward your final grade are based on classroom participation.

You have to be crazy to take MKTG 1010 online with this teacher. This is by far the most work I have ever had in a class. The tasks aren't very hard but they are time consuming, you will drive yourself crazy trying to keep up.

she is very energetic and happy to teach this course, she has a real passion for marketing. If you miss a class there is no making up the inclass exercises, which can damage your grade. However, she does do extra credit! overall it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed attending

I took Monique for 4 classes so far and try my hardest to get into any that she teaches. By far the best most enthused teacher EVER. She expects you to do quality work and participate so if you do both you will learn ALOT

Ok... I have took many online classes before and I have never had a teacher grade so strict. I understand this is college but her grading is INSANE. You will lose points for the smallest thing. She does not let anything slide. Take a different teacher if taking online. Plus side, she grades things very quickly.

Presented material very well, extremely enthusastic. Her background in automotive marketing very relevant to Detroit. Rarely wasnt 100% on technical issues but would say so. Highly recommend this class to anyone in sales

If you are looking for a blow off class.. take another! If you are really interested in learning about advertising..then this is the class for you. There's a lot of work but if you do all of your assignments you will for sure pass with a good grade. I took her onlone

If you are a slacker, do not take her class. She's a very happy and energetic professor. She helps whenever you need. She doesn't take mess from her students. You do have to read the chapters to pass the test. If you show up to class 95% of the time and read the material you will have nothing to worry about. She also has a few in class activities.

One of my favorite professors at MCC. She is extremely passionate about marketing. I never wanted to skip her class because she made marketing FUN. She gives out study guides and she allows a cheat sheet front and back for exams. Exams are part essay, multiple choice and T/F. Participation points are given. One in-class project. Very satisfied!

Relatively easy tests, lots of homework and DQs, group project is complete garbage. You better hope your group tries because Doll will mark your participation points down even if you do all but 1 part of the group week's work. Btw, that group work will make or break your grade. Professor Doll was a tough grader, but her assignments were clear and interesting. She is very helpful and quickly responds to student questions. Overall I enjoyed the class and learned a lot.

Took professor Doll for both Consumer Behavior online and MKT Research on ground and both were a great experience. The online class was well ran, clear expectations and due dates. Lets you choose 2 of 4 discussions to choose from which is cool. Doll is super quick to reply to emails and grading assignments with feedback. Great professor and person!

Teaching Style: Professor Doll is a great teacher with positive energy every morning. Talks fast but keeps you engaged. I have ADHD and she managed to keep my attention on her lectures 80% of the time. Homework: She assigned one homework per month with four in total of the semester. Exams: Allows cheat sheet to be used during exam. Not hard.

Professor Doll is wonderful and sweet. She makes the class fun and exciting. Her lectures are so much. If you put in effort on the homework, you will probably get a good grade. I don't find her to be a hard grader at all. She will also let you use a notes page on exams.

Professor Doll is the best professor I've taken at Macomb. (Don't listen to any of the bad reviews on here!!!) Her classes and lectures are interesting, and I'm always excited to come to her class. As long as you participate and do your work you'll do great in the class. Definitely will be taking Professor Doll again when I have the chance!!!

I can't say a bad thing about Prof. Doll. She has helped me every step of the way, you just need to reach out to her and not be afraid to do so. I was struggling very hard in this class and I have been maintaining a B+, it hard. She has made me feel confident in what I am learning and I suggest her for anyone who isn't afraid to speak up.

I've taken numerous classes with Professor Doll. I'll give it away: ALL OF YOUR ANSWERS ARE IN THE TEXTBOOK. Yes, there is a lot of homework - this is an online class (MKTG2055). However, as long as you actually try, she isn't a hard grader. If you have issues reach out to her, but make sure you've read the text before you do.

This was my first time taking this professors class and I would definitely take her class again! I was in an 8-week online class, so there was a bit of work, but she gives clear instructions, and you can find almost all the answers in the book. She seems like she loves what she is doing and she responded relatively quickly whenever I had questions.
