She is very hard, does not lecture, makes you take your own notes out of the book and does not give any material to review. She does not teach what so ever. Be prepared everyone my class failed her tests.

She does not lecture AT ALL. She makes this clear on the first day but what she doesn't make clear is that she does not assign any assignments. The entire semester consisted only of tests and our "homework" was to take notes and she would group us the following day to study in class. I definitely do not recommend this teacher.

She is awful! She does not care to teach, she moves the class around at least two times during class to waste time since she doesn't teach. when you ask a question is very monotone, she rolls her eyes, looks at you and says wrong! makes you take random notes and her test are hard. I was always there & read my book so I couldn't why I was failling.

The very first day she tells you that she doesnt lecture which is completely true! Get out while you can! You literally read the book, take notes and take tests. She doesnt lecture at all and spends most of her time reading over notes, arranges the desks and puts you into groups. Very boring and when you ask questions her answers are very minimum

She does not lecture at all! All you do in the class is write notes from the book and study for tests. She assigns chapters from the book and you write notes in big flashcards. Be prepared for a lot of writing and studying. If you can, don't take the class. It's just too much stress.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Absolutely awful. Does not lecture at all. Spends the entire class rearranging desks over and over. Basically assigns chapters and tests you based on that. No study guides what so ever and sometimes she's "not sure" if the answer is correct. Worst mistake ever taking her. Do not even chance it.

Prof does not give you a syllabus nor does she use canvas. This was hard for me, since i like to see a lay-out of all my assignments over the course period. She "grades" you by how well and specific your notes are, she doesn't lecture, extra credit isn't offered. The entire course i didn't know my grade and when i asked her she didn't know either

The most stressful class ever! Doesn't lecture. All questions on exams are trick questions. Assigns 2 chapters per class to take notes over then groups you with people based on similar note taking style. Be prepared to teach yourself and still be completely lost! This instructor is without a doubt not only the worst instructor youll ever encounter but just as bad in her person. On the first day, she arrived late, appeared disoriented and was slurring, and 100% extremely rude. She made it clear that she did not care for her students, she wasnt their mother to care for them. She said their is no lecture! F-

Be prepared to take LOTS of notes, and have exams over tests. She doesn't lecture. The whole class period she takes out notes, scans through them and then moves people into different groups the whole class period. She doesn't do make up quizzes. I would NOT recommend her. I dropped her class after a month of having her.

There is no lecture whatsoever, and hardly any chapter discussion. You'll be teaching yourself from the textbook only. She is no help. More often than not, she was 15+ minutes late to class. Takes a long time to get back to you outside of class. Prof is rude and blunt. Does not use Canvas & won't know your grade for the whole semester.

I never had a teacher that barely cared, yet unprofessional. If she doesn't teach, why she in that job to begin with? Had to copy notes from book, teach ourselves, barely use canvas (Even in COVID-19) She gives us random stuff I don't know, including tests (time), and grades late for avg score. You're better off with Crash Course PSYC.

this professor does not teach at all. between exams, she emailed maybe three times total just repeating which chapter to read that was it. she is rude, she does not care, and she is not accommodating. never once posted a lecture or even gave a study guide. you teach yourself and she gets paid for it. she does less than the bare minimum. do not take

This professor gives your 39 questions on test, expects you to finish that test in 25 minutes. She is most selfish and non caring professor I have ever met. She is the worst Psychology teacher . Do not take her class!!!

I will never be taking one her classes ever again. She shouldn't even be called a teacher, SHE DOESN'T TEACH!!! Only communicates through emails and she doesn't post lectures. All she says in the emails are that you have tests a certain day and to be ready. If you want to teach yourself this hard class go ahead. Only has 5 assignments for semester!

I took this class with the hopes of learning all I can. I was very disappointed when I found out that this professor doesn't do anything to help with understanding the material. If you take this class you are teaching yourself. The exams are terrible, with the time being so short I would have to race against it.

Four exams and a writing assignment make up your final grade, with the final exam being worth 60%. If you're good at teaching yourself then try this class out. The only communication you get is when she schedules the exams. There is more exam questions than there is time, which is stressful. I was excited for Psych but she ruined the whole subject.

This teacher doesn't teach NOTHING, no modules, no homework, NOTHING. She has 4 tests with a short time to do it, For example. 40 questions 20 minutes and 1 individual writing about your personal test. She wants you to read and learn the whole book, and that's all. She doesn't explain the chapter's NOTHING. Her tests are tricky.

I emailed her once with a question and she gave me the worse attitude, then I emailed her again with another question weeks separate and she suggested to withdraw from the course after responding to my email. Her test are really hard because she doesn't give enough time to even read all the questions and the times up, witch that hurt my grade

I wouldnt recommend taking her for Psych, Ive been stressing over this class the entire semester and shes not very reasonable or understanding . She doesnt allow extra credit to help your grade either and she doesnt do the best on helping understand the lectures.

Professor was the worst by far to date, does not allow students to write notes as she lectures, does not explain her lectures if questions asked, and always moves her students around in the seating arrangement which makes it hard to create a peer to peer relationship for study purposes. Her test have many questions, and not enough time to finish.

The only thing she explained was what pages you did and didn't need to read. Any questions asked were met with rudeness and sometimes would answer the question by telling you what page to read in the book. Test were very easy, as long as you read what she instructed you to read and studied you should pass no problem.

If you are a lecture heavy learner, you will struggle in this class. The semester consist of her assigning readings/examples for hw, felt like I was teaching myself. She never once got up & taught. I was scared to ask questions bc she would respond sarcastically. I believe she cares for her students, but makes the class very hard to enjoy.

Her speech is incredibly disorganized and does not make anything about her instructions clear. And when you ask about instructions, she would respond very rudely, sarcastically, and ultimately just pick on you. She would move students seating around the class all the time for no reasons or just if friends were sitting together. Don't waste your $.

She doesn't explain properly, you're basically on your own in this class. If you're interested in psychology, don't take her class. The reading is easy. Test questions are also easy, however, she doesn't allot enough time for the tests. If you're a slow reader, her tests will be hard to complete. Also, she doesn't really communicate effectively.

I personally prefer professors that teach, she does not she will tell you what to read, and that's it. Her whole class is reading she never once got up and gave a lecture. She has a total of 4 tests including the final, and one writing assignment. Don't take her if you like lectures and learn better that way. You will have to teach yourself.

Everything is being learned from the textbook, she doesn't verbally teach. I'm relying on God at this point.

The absolute WORST and LAZIEST Teacher on the Del Mar College Faculty. She should be fired with prejudice and made to pay back the money for this most recent semester. She should be required to pay students who had to deal with her BS this past semester she is literally and figuratively the absolute worst.
