i think he is best math teacher i have ever had...........some ppl argue that he doesnt know how to teach but i think he;s really cool
If you are Not good at math, take him. He is very helpful, great teacher .laid back, like to talk students off topics. Also, you can bring 1 sheet of paper on the test.I failed math141 twice, but got A on his summer class!! Just do homework, you'll be fine
OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR! For a dinner-time class, it was never fun to attend, especially on Fridays. But with this professor, it was always a pleasure going to class because he always made it really fun. He's hilarious and down to earth. Wish he could teach more classes. You'll love this class!
Best Engineering professor ever. Highly recommend, always willing to help students, very enthusiastic and loves to teach. He makes engineering fun. Definately worth taking on a friday night.
This professor is the best i have ever had.Mo knows what he is doing and he makes things easy to understand. If you didn't understand something then he will find a way for you to under stand it.I love going to class he makes it very fun.I think every one should experiance the mo.. very happy guy
Happy, friendly, wants you to learn. You could not possibly ask for more in a professor than Mo has to offer. Take him. It's worth going Friday to have his class.
Nap time! Takes a good half hour on one part of a question. And must refer to the book because he messed up on the problem somewhere along the way.
Professor Mohsenzadeh has an excellent teaching skills and tries so hard to help his students succeed. Those students that talks negative about this professor are being unfair.
he is vary nice and easy teacher I took a short term class with him it was challenging but he made it easy for the whole class theire were 50 + students in his class i believe that everyone passed the class. He has a funny persian accent.
Professor Mo. is the most creative in his teaching style and enjoys the teaching profession.Always encouraging students to learn. He is the first class professor.

He is teaching an engineering class, statics, talks about how he has teached it plenty of times before, then when i look here, he's only teached math. Somethings fishy, he's a good prof knows what he's doing but is not very helpful, such a hard class but I wish he could do something to help more than talk about how hard it was for him at SDSU.
Prof. Mo is the most knowledgable instructor I have ever had in college. If someone fails the course, blame yourself for your failure not him. Good class. I got 'B' in the course and learned a lot. Thank you!
he is not a good teacher, not helpful, covers a chapter in 30 minutes because the whole time he is talking about himself and his experience... doesnt know how to expain anything.. if you are planing to take his class you have to be willing to study on your own....
Prof. Mo is awesome. He is a very inspiring person and he really cares about his students. Everyone should definitely take a class from him, especially stats which without a good teacher would be awful. GO PROF MO OH YEAH!!!!
Intersession. He is fair and considerate. Spends extra time explaining if asked. Lots of stories but is interesting and funny;makes the class easier to deal with(get back to stats by asking a stat ?. Easier if you have a great math background. You have to work alot on your own dont expect him to hold your hand. I would take him during the semester.
Intersession! Very intense in a short amount of time, but he makes it very interesting and actually fun (he has great stories). Keep up with the work and you'll do great! He is a very kind and smart professor who loves what he does and cares about his students!
took it intersession, hes a really nice guy, fun to listen to his stories, but intersession was just too fast, im pretty sure it was his first time teaching this course over 5 weeks, so most of the class was struggling VERY much, but he is understanding and was generous, would have loved the class in full semester...
NO BUENO, rambles, hard to understand whole class struggled, no explanations, take someone else
Professor Mohsenzadeh's lectrure is so clear and repeat the samething several times until you understand the topics. He wants you to learn and cares about his students. He is unique in his teaching. Experts in teaching both engineering and Math courses. Thanks Dr.Mo....

Loves white people.
very unhelpful.... he always acts like he knows everything but he doesn't and his class is extremely hard... verrrrry hard, specially his test omg he thinks we are in ucsd or cal or ucla... no review before test..and when i talk to most of the students from his class they said they rnot gonna take his class for Eing 250 or 260 because he is bad...
Good lecture notes yet sloppy with his words. He is good at repeating things over and over and over and over...Can not use notes at all during examines. But our class was an exception due to everyone's failure (his word problems during lecture did not match his examines, so you get lost of how to start the problem)..weird teacher. DO NOT TAKE THIS
I took him during the summer semester. It was an absolute nightmare. I am a 4.0 student and had to drop his class. This guy is totally disorganized, and teaches of the top of his head. Every time I asked for help, he gave me some lame answer like read the book, do your hw, etc. DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT MATH! Such a disappointment
Agree with previous comment. Also, his tests have nothing to do w/ his hw. Very confusing, and lacks patience with students. This guy treats you like your major is engineering. The textbook is a better teacher than him, and makes more sense. I can't believe he's head of the engineering department. I now know why everyone dropped his class.
It started off at 30, and now there is like 9 students. He is really confusing, so I just stopped paying attention in class and just read the chapters on my own. This guy flies through lectures, and wasn't helpful to students who didnt understand. Luckily I'm decent at math, but I'd avoid him like the plague. GPA killer though, this guy sucks.
he is a lier... he told me that he has a PHD in mechanical engineering but he doesnt... he is a such lier and he only has a master degree in physical science.......... i can't believe him. DONT TAKE HIM IF U DONT WANT To GET F
If u luv 2 teach yourself, by all means, this is the guy. If u are not good at math, do not take him. I warned u..... he gets a big fat F from me. Terrrrrrrrrible!
EASY. IS not big on takig role and is the easiest math teacher. LEts you have pages of notes. Need any help just ask him. Tests are not hard either. Take him.
He is a really nice guy and a good teacher. His class is not easy but if you work hard, he will help you to succeed. I don't recommend a summer class, but it's possible. You really have to be serious and keep up to get an A. He is very helpful.
Tests have nothing to do with material he teaches in class. What a joke. If you are good at teaching yourself go right ahead.
Math and engineering classes are hard to begin with. If u are not prepard to study hard and learn, u are not gana pass the class. These aren’t some Art, Music or other GE classes. If you think you cann’t do this change your major simple as that!!!

really good teacher.
This guy is terrible. I never tried so hard for a class for him to tell me to drop. His lectures are off the top of his head, and his tests had nothing to do with the book. If you are good at math, he's okay, but if you suck like me don't take him. Very unhelpful.
very nice guy. very easy class if you pay attention. gives out a lot of a's i had a 70 average and got an A
Not a good teacher If you realy want to learn go somewher else. Not clear,
Dr. Mo is a great professor and he tries his best to help you learn. He cares about his students. He teaches really well. I higly recommend him.
It was nice having a teacher with a personality teaching a dry and boring subject. He would usually let the class out a little early being that it was an intense summer course. This instructor does not give homework so you need to be proactive in your studying. All points in the class are from the test and every one counts. Final grade is curve
By far the best professor I have ever had. I struggle with math & professor Mo worked with me to pass the class. He is very helpful and willing to work with his students to help them do well. I highly recomend Professor Mo!
not recommend at all because his exams are so hard. look for other professors.
do not take him, his exams are difficult. if you ask him a problem from the textbook he doesn't know how to solve it. unless he looks it up from his solution manual in order to solve it.
He's actually a pretty funny guy if you'd ask me. His Dinner time class was kick-back, fun and relaxing. He knows his stuff when it comes to Engineering. There were only 8 of us attending and it wasn't all to bad and we all got A's. For those who rated him low, next time learn your lesson, don't take Engineering Profs to teach you Math..Uh Duh!
Thanks Professor Mo. for the great semester. Your Circuit class prepared me so well to transfer to SDSU. You are Great. Keep up the Excellent work.
I higly recommend Dr.Mo for both Engineering and Math courses. He helps you learn the subject really well. He cares about his students. Thanks Professor Mo. You are the best.
I would like to thank you Dr.Mo for the great semester. Engineering Materials Science is a tough course but you made it so simple and clear. I could tell that you really care about students learning. I have a high respect for you. Keep up the good work...
Dont know how well he teaches other classes but he sucked at teaching dynamics..got stuck on problems everyday...the book was clear so that was helpful
I took EE200, 250, 260 from Prof Mo. "Beautiful" teacher. Cares about students. Reviews for test & are straightforward. Had difficulties with 260 problems in class. But heck, most students cannot solve problems on the fly in the middle of lecture either. GREAT person, wish I could take all my EE classes from him!
Professor Mo. is the most knowledgeable and caring engineering professor. I have learned a lot in his classes. I am well prepare to transfer to SDSU now. Thanks. Dr.Mo.
I am so thankful to receive all the help from Professor Mo. He is so versatile on all areas of Math and engineering. He is the best professor I have ever had.
One of the best teachers at Mesa. HE is very passionate about his job and is willing to help in any way.
Professor Mohsenzadeh is the great professor. Very serious about teaching. He wants you to learn. Do not miss his lecture. Thanks professor Mo. I learned a lot in your class.
Awesome professor. Very patient and helpful. Mainly teaches Engineering during fall/spring and teaches math in summer.
Hes kind of chill...very good personality
HE IS A BALLER!! super sick teacher for engr 101 or intro to engr. it is a very very easy class if you come 80% of the time you will get an A. No test or homework.
Professor Mo. helps you to understand the most difficult problem in engineering. He made the subject so fun. I am so glad that I took his class. I higly recommend him to all potential ENGR. students.
I loved the class! He drops the lowest test score and let you make up missed exams. Exams are from book examples. Homework is optional. Lots of extra credit throughout the course. I definitely recommend him for this course. You will learn a lot. Trust me~Absolutely the best engineering professor.
Morteza is one of the best Professors ever! He could make this course very hard so you'd hate it, but he never does. Encourages to read the text so you'd have a better understanding of the materials. If you do the homework, you shouldn't get anything less than a B.
Mo is the sickest teacher out there and makes Statics a breeze. Take him, you won't regret it.
Mo is a great teacher. His class is not easy, but that is because of the subject matter. He presents the information in a straight forward, easy to understand way, and elaborates well on the books presentation of the material. I will take him again.
uncertain of his lecture material, grades on the test not exactly fair. Lectures are just basic concepts and he doesnt do a good job in explaining the small steps.Boring to listen to, prefer students. He kept saying he gives the grade base on how he feels abt the student. Wow not good at all.
Mo is a really good teacher and an Engineer. He really pushed me to succeed in his class by taking time to study for tests and doing homework. His stories about students who aren't successful realy inspire me to work harder and really dig into the books concepts and homework problems. I'm glad I took his class this summer.
Is not clear, expects u to know half what he is talking about already. Annnoyed if you ask a Q & has to explain again, 50% he will give u a lecture too. Tests are not like homework. Only 10 qs per test, so if u mess up your screwed. Will not cut you a break bc thinks students r lazy & don't study hard enough but really bc he does not teach well.
DONT TAKE HIM!!your grade is ONLY based on 5 tests and a final. his lectures are boring, he thinks your dumb if you dont get what he is talking about and constantly compares you with his son who is in middle school, saying he does the same material, dont ask alot of ?'s and dont correct him or he'll get pissed and also has favorites!
Thank you Professor Mo. for making a difficult course so easy to understand. I have learned so much in your class and I would like to let you know serious students appreciate your dedication to teaching. Ignor all the winers.
I am so glad that I took Engineering Statics with Dr.Mohsenzadeh.He is one of the best professor that so far I have encountered. He cares about your learning. He knows the subject really well and prepare you for the upper Division courses in Engineering. Thanks Professor.
he is useless!! gives u hmwk then tests you on the exact opposite!! expects u to knw everything! only grades on tests. As a human being he is kind and has a good heart, hes good at math but not very good at explaining math! oh yah and he compares college students too his 11 yr old son!he also thinks hes the best teacher out there and no one is bett
Mo is a very nice guy. He is a super helpful teacher. I suggest taking him for engineering 151. Probably got an A. Sometimes he is a little unorganized but the class was fun.
Professor Mo. is the best professor in both Engineering and Mathematics. If you want to learn take him. He cares about your learning. He is the only engineering professor at Mesa. He truly prepares you to transfer to 4-year colleges.
Absolute worst teacher I have ever had HE CAN NOT TEACH Yes he is a nice guy but that wont stop him from stabbing you in the back on grades He'll rush through an example, spend 20 min about how he avoided traffic getting to work then 10 min complaining about how short the classes are DO NOT TAKE HIM felt there were students who could teach better.
He's a great teacher. I can actually understand what is going on in math for once! The tests are fairly easy. The only problem is he tends to stop in the middle of explaining a problem and start talking about language or something that happened to him in the past. He also has a bit of a hearing problem. Other than that, great teacher!
Intro to Engineering - Mohssenzadeh - very passionate about teaching. with that said this is one of the worst classes I ever took. Totally useless, most of the class was spent with him telling useless stories about how he knows this person and that person. If you are really interested in learning about Engineering I suggest you talk to a counselor.
Thanks Professor Mo. for teaching me the foundadtion course Engineering statics. You are the top Professor with knowledge and care for your students. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended. Ignore the losers comments.
I am exremely happy with Dr.Mo's teaching style. He is an experience engineering Professor. I have gained Tremendous knowledge about Computer Aided Design using Pro-Engineer. He is one of the best in this field. He does not wants you to miss any classes. Thanks Dr. Mo...
Thanks so much for your energy and dedication to this course. I have learned very much and actually enjoyed statistics. You are very kind patient and caring professor. Thanks for your authenticity.
I am glad I took Statics, Dynamics and Materials with you because it was exactly like you said. This semester I took Mechanics of Materials at SDSU and because of your great teaching I ended up getting a B, which I am happy with because it was a very difficult class.I wanted to thank you for pushing me in the lower division classes at Mesa.
This Drawing class was a blast w/ Prof Mo. He was still getting used to the newest version of the software installed the week before classes started, but he was still a great help when you had any problems. Simple and laid back teaching style. Relaxed attendance requirements. Just get your work done and you will do well.
Statics is a hard class, but it's a lot of repetition based on what is learned in Phys: Mechanics. He assigns a LOT of homework. My advice: DO THE HOMEWORK. the tests where I fell behind on HW are the ones I did poorly on. He has some trouble effectively describing how to do some problems. Work hard and you're sure to get a good grade in the class
I think (I may be wrong) he has no formal training in ELECTRICAL engineering. If you can self-teach the basics, then this class is easy. Unfortunately, his lectures are nearly incomprehensible. He will confuse and mislead you because 1) he doesn't know the material and 2) he's horrible at communicating. (Nothing personal, he is a nice guy)
Prof. Mo! I just wanted to say thank you for a great year! I really enjoyed your classes (statics and dynamics). I felt like I really learned a lot from you and will take it through the rest of my college career, and more. I'm now off to SDSU for the rest of my education. Thank you again for all of your help with my lower division courses!
he obviously writes almost all of these reviews himself.
Puts the most difficult questions on the test when he only gets around to teaching the basics. He acts like his students are stupid so if you ask for clarification he will start his whole explanation over again. he is really stingy on partial credit too because he doesn't think you get it even if all the work is correct but you graph wrong etc,
Does not know how to teach or the material he's teaching. You'll spend the semester learning from the book. Class is useless. You will pass just because he curves the grade and everyone else ends up not learning anything also. Take it somewhere else.
This teacher never has a lesson plan. Stalls class by complaining about how "easy" community colleges have it. Always has to look up solutions from the text book. How does he expect his students to understand the material when he cannot even understand what he is trying to teach his students? Someone take away his teaching degree please!
I'm taking the CAD class with him right now and I really enjoy it. He doesn't take attendance every day but losing 3 hours of working with the software isn't a good idea. He'll take as long as he needs to find a solution with you to any problem which is nice, and he likes to relate to his students on a personal level. Its a very enjoyable class
Im currently taking this class and while I I'm understanding the software well this is all thanks to my own ability to teach myself out of the book. Professor Mo is a very nice man that enjoys talking to his students. If he only had that same energy to actually lecture/emphasize things he wants people to know for his exams people would do better.
Very nice guy but lectures are a bit disorganized and not always productive. Plan on reading the book to learn what you need to know. Tests are fair and not overly difficult.
The budget cuts have really caused students to suffer and "professor" mo whom to my understanding is not even a math teacher is a fill in to teach a math class the original professor could not teach. Great! He doesn't teach just shows how fast he can solve a problem, then gets upset when no one knows what he is talking about. Thanks budget cuts!
Very very nice guy, but I basically had to teach myself. He taught each lesson really fast so it was hard to follow, but its a pretty simple class and the book is pretty clear on what to do. If you need help he sometimes gets annoyed, but he still helps you 1 on 1 until you understand. Again, great guy, but he needs to work on his teaching methods
Here's what you need to know. Like all students here, I complained the first few weeks on how horrible the class was, however, once you stop complaining and start studying the material the class is straight forward. Prof. Moe will NOT spoon feed you the material. You will have to work your a** off but that's what engineering is all about ;)
Basically taught myself. Unorganized lectures (diffrt order from textbook), winds up talking about irrelevant stuffs too often, DON'T KNOW THE MATERIAL WELL ENOUGH TO TEACH. Tips: read in advance of a class, learn ALL the chapter summaries b4 exams, do his assigned homework, BE GOOD AT ALGEBRA and have good tolerance for foreign accent.
Professor Moh is a fun teacher and if you need help on a problem, he'll always help you 1-on-1. However, during demonstrations, he often flies through them which makes you ask for help (which he gives). Once you get better at the software, class will fly by. I still enjoyed this class more than any other this semester.
Professor Mo is excellent at teaching Statics/Dynamics. Took him for both and worked my tail off. Do all the homework problems in the book. Put in at least 2 hours a day. Dont cry when you fail, try again. Learn for yourself, dont expect Mo to feed you. All problems have some sort of twist or trick and the only way to master solving is practice.
Did not present the material in any type of helpful way. He flew through lectures, sometimes two chapters a day. I found myself receiving more help in the tutoring lab and from youtube videos than from Mohssenzadeh. Went to office hours for help, but left dissatisfied because he was so unclear. I basically paid money to teach myself.
Horrible to teach Intro to Engineering! He is so bad that I almost changed my Major to something else but ENG. Any one can teach this subject better than him. All he talks is about how much math one needs for this major (obvious), mechanical engineering or any tangent. The only good thing about him are the group projects, which are fun.
He's a very nice professor. We had 4 exams in total and some homework. He does not drop any exams and so grade is based on how well you did on them. This class met once a week and so attendance is a must. The book is essential for practice problems because he can be confusing at times. If you are willing to do the work and study, an A is possible.
Lectures are awful, and borderline useless. He will give problem sets at the end, doesn't teach or explain the material, will spend much of lecture saying it is important to attend or anecdote, and is rude to those he judges to be of inferior intellect. If you want to learn in his class you'll have to read the book & solve problems. He should quit.
Took him for 100,151,200,210 and got all A's but I worked HARD. Mo is wonderful man- Very intuitive and he'll know if you dont care about what youre doing. Lectures go off topic but are full of great advice for life in the engineering world, so listen to him and take notes anyway. HW is a rarity, & he'll tell you almost exactly whats on the exams.
Very poor lecturer and instructor. Writes items on board with small writing and only explains in a cursory fashion. He preaches about hard work in college, but he does a poor job organizing his lectures and the class in general. He sometimes shows videos during class time of OTHER professor/teacher doing a lecture!?
Unless you are willing to teach yourself all of the material outside of class, save your money and time. He's so unclear in his lectures and often goes off topic. Also, exams are your entire grade so there is no way to make up for any points with homework/quizzes.
He is awesome
the worst professor i ever had he is not there for you if you have question, he grade based only on exams, if you fail a exam there is no chance to pass the class. he assigned lot of homework but he does not take the time to grade it so you do not know if you are doing it right. he do not do examples only long lectures. do not take this professor.
Loved this class! He's clear in what he expects and doesn't kill you with work. Great professor if you put in effort, otherwise probably not.
A joke. still in the semester, and he hasn't uploaded ppt's. grading marks on tests are totally unclear, and he just failed to go over the last test since he forgot. uses old pens you cant even see on the board. I thought teachers were there to teach, not praise themselves and put you down. he cant even do his own problems during lecture.....?
If you want to become a successful Engineer take all Pre-Engineering classes at MESA COLLEGE with Professor Mohssenzadeh. He teaches the subject Matter so well and he cares about your success. Thank you Professor Mo. for preparing me to transfer to SDSU. HE is well respected professor.
Professor Moh's class is straight forward but he will not spoon feed you. He is always available for questions during office hours if you are struggling. His classes are not easy but I have learned so much in one semester and feel well prepared for future courses. If you sit in the back and never say anything when you are struggling, you will fail.
Great professor.
Work hard and you'll be rewarded. Do the homework, study for hours on a daily schedule and you can make it. As long as you understand the fundamentals.
Dr. Mohssenzadeh is a great professor and has passion towards teaching. I have enjoyed taking several engineering classes with him at Mesa. If you want to learn attend the class and ask for help anytime needed. He cares about his students. He prepares you to transfer to a four-year institutions. I highly recommend him.
Mr. Mo, is a great teacher. He is passionate about teaching and that is what's most important. Math is not my forte by any means and I passed. He is willing to help if he sees you trying, however, if you are slacking and not asking questions, coming to class late he will not be as lenient. Genuinely a good person.
Best Professor of Engineering I have ever had. His teaching method is excellent. He is very dedicated to his teaching. Because Professor guide and help now I am transferring to Berkley majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Thank you professor for all your support. Myself and other students will miss you.
we used the PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 textbook during this class. All the homework he gave us were the tutorials and projects. Make sure you have an understanding of blueprints because of the dimesioning thats going to take place within the Creo program. The program is 6/10 difficult at first, but with some practice and patience, you will succeed.
Mo's class is difficult. Its not a "none shall pass" deal but over a third dropped. He has mandatory attendance but spends at least half of lecture talking about other stuff. I now know that concrete reaches its maximum strength at 28 days, this is totally irrelevant to the class how ever was stated many times.
Talks mostly about how much he knows and how many people like him during lecture. It's really weird and takes away from class time. When he is trying to teach, he fumbles through it and is completely aloof. Comes across as a know it all. Probably the worst professor I've encountered. Make sure to avoid at all costs.
Professor Mo is one of the kindest professors I've ever had! His class is what made me lean towards engineering, he makes me understand the subject as someone who struggles in math. Just go to class and pay attention, he will answer your questions in detail.
I worked very close to Prof. Moh he is a great guy, cares for students, takes extra time to perfect his lectures. now offering youtube videos to help students learn. treats you like an adult, you can come and go from the class as you want just don't make it a bad habit. overall i would take classes with him in the future.
Impressively bad lectures with little to no explanation of the material. The book is pretty dense too, so most of the time outside of class was spent watching videos to learn. General consensus seems to be that he's a decent person but has no clue how to teach. Supposedly, he's teaching fewer classes soon, so he won't be the only choice.
Prof Mo wasn't my favorite. Doesn't do a good job explaining the material and can make it confusing. Asking questions doesn't often yield a clear explanation. The subject is hard but it's harder with a bad professor. Try and take someone else if you can or be ready to teach yourself. Homework 20%, 4 Tests 55%, 1 Final 25%.
Skipped steps like you should already know what you should do. When anyone asked questions he was still super unclear. Gave practice tests that were similar to the tests but really werent. You never know what your grade is and do we have hw I dont know?? Worst part is you need to get a 75% on the final to pass the class. Do not take him.
He is by far the worst professor. He's extremely rude when you ask him a question. He just puts you down. He talks about himself more than he talks about the material. He also rushes through the power points that he himself did not create. He should not be teaching. I am surprised that the school still allows him to teach there. Avoid at all costs.
DO NOT TAKE. He insults you when you ask questions in class. He rushes through lecture and talks about himself for most of it. He also doesn't seem to really know as much as he says he does. Earlier this semester a student had to explain to him the difference between a free and a sliding vector. His explanations are also very vague if he answers.
The class should be renamed Professor Mo's life story. He hardly lectures and always goes on tangents mostly about himself and how great he is. The school pays him for this? This is ridiculous. A lot of people dropped and many are not doing well in class. I think the problem is him as a professor, not engineering. Worst experience ever.
Look man, this class is gonna be hard and the professor will make it harder. If you have the option to have another professor for 200, do it. But you probably don't. None of us before did. He's the gatekeeper of your engineering career. You will go through the class and you will come out of it stronger or try again. Good luck. You will need it.
Professor Mohssenzadeh is one of the best Professor I have had so far that actually teaches you to become an engineer. If you are not good in Math you are going to struggle in this class. Thanks for the great semester. I highly recommend this Professor.
I was in your Dynamics class last semester at SDSU. I wanted to say thank you Professor Mo so much for your drive for teaching and for working with me in my best efforts this semester to help me pass the class. You were truly one of the most committed professors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from and I simply wanted to say thank you.
I had no knowledge of any Mechanical Drawing or CAD. Professor Mo is so knowledgeable and makes this class so comfortable for his students. He frequently ask you if you need any help. I have learned so much from his class that I am ready to apply for a job in Drafting-Sold Modeling using Creo-Parametric. He is an awesome professor.
Great Professor. Highly Recommend. Professor Mo is a knowledgeable in the area of engineering and he cares about student's learning. Thanks for great semester.
Where to start from, cannot explain the material at all, talks about himself more than half of the lecture, exams are extremely hard. A lot of people ended up dropping his class. AVOID!
Very awesome professor that helped whenever students had problems with drafting assignments but otherwise would only do short tutorials and let you do your thing. Just wants to see good work and learning. If you miss class you can just catch yourself up or finish an assignment from home. Fun class with a very solid professor who clearly cares.
I took Professors Mohssenzabeh ENGE 151. He is very caring, funny and knowledgeable. When I needed help with any of the models he was very patient when explaining, while at the same time teaching me different techniques. He is always reaching out to students offering his help he knows ALOT! If majoring in Engineering don't hesitate to ask him.
Snarky, rude and will insult you on the pretense of caring. He schedules & grades the 1st exam such that you wont get it back until AFTER the first add/drop deadline. He lectures all class long but goes over 0% theory- only textbook examples or elementary math. Hes quite stubborn in his point of view. Be prepared to selfteach the entire course.
Mr. Mohssenzadeh is a great professor. He will teach you a lot of techniques on solving problems. He also always entertain the class. I will recommend him, if he knows your trying, he will help you pass.
good professor he is caring if you take the time to ask for his help, pay attention to his lectures and you will do great
I had Prof Mo for two semesters in a row, 101 and 151 (A's in both). Mo wants and believes that everyone can get good grades and be an engineer as long as they work very hard. He sometimes goes on tangents about wise things he's told other people but he is very good at his job and honestly I think he overworks himself. He sets you up for success.
The lectures will look nothing like the homework and the homework will look nothing like the exams. If you don't do every single problem in the book for each chapter, you'll never encounter the problems you'll find on the exams. The first exam, the highest score was a 67%. That's the level of preparation Dr. Mo will afford you. Nice guy, though...
So I took him for stats, and let me tell you the class is a hot mess. The exams no one ever gets better then a C on them! I've gone to EVERY class, I print out ALL the notes, do ALL homework and even just the random problems in the book and still get a C. He is curving the class, but gets mad when you ask questions. I don't like how he teaches!
Professor Mo is a great professor. Despite how fast hes gonna show you what to do and you will not understand it first hand, you will get it after the 2nd or 3rd week of school and then designing stuff in his class will be extremely easy. He goes fast because he wants to give you enough time towards the end for 3 projects.
This professor is much more concerned about telling you how you should be living your life than actually teaching. At least during COVID, he only "teaches" from powerpoint presentations that are provided to him from the text book and does not work out any problems. You would be better off buying a text book and teaching yourself. Awful experience.
just reads the PowerPoint. I learned from Youtube and I won't take him again
You get a short amount of time to do the tests and quizzes and if your work isn't summited to canvas formatted as a single pdf before the time limit, you get a 0 on it. he does not answer emails, accept excuses, or drop anything. Each test is worth about 15% of your grade so if you submit a second late you better hope its before the drop date.
Professor Mo is good. He tries his best to explain the topic, but sometimes he just read the PowerPoint. His tests aren't that bad if you do a lot of practice problems and attend peer mentoring. For the people complaining about getting zero for not submitting the test on time, it's your problem and you are in college so grow up, stop complaining.
Take him for ENGE151 but try to avoid him for ENGE200. At first I wanted to associate the lack of organization in the class to being online due to covid but now I know the issues are consistent in class too. His reviews are super accurate for 151 and 200 so scroll down. If you do end up with him for statics try to not take any other tough classes.
One of the most unorganized professors ever. DONT TAKE HIM.
I learned more from his TA than him. Prof Mo spends a lot of the time talking about how much of a hard worker he is and future courses. He reads off slides he didn't create himself really fast. I'd recommend taking this class after Calc 3 because it's all vector and 3-dimensional problems. He's good in the 151 class but not this one.
Stay away from this class. This profesor does not really teach anything, the class is self taught. The projects are due once a week. The classes are really long and are mostly taught on Saturdays. Beware the professor well drift away from class and talk about himself and other classes bad behavior.
Will find every opportunity to give you a lecture on life. One time he told the whole class, "My friend, if you've taken this class three times find another major." "Engineering is hard guys, why do you want to study engineering?". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He fails at teaching and discourages students.
This professor is completely unprofessional, and focuses more on discussing his personal life. He clearly lacks the basic knowledge to continue teaching any pre-major courses. please yourself a favor I did not take any of his classes.
Strap in. Mo is difficult but if you run from him instead of working you should drop the class. I got lucky and met a great group of people who helped me work hard in that class. We'd cheer for 40% on tests. He pretends to be unsupportive at first but curves your overall grade like crazy. From the 40 of us,15 were left, he didnt let any of us fail.
DONT TAKE. Statics isn't that hard once you practice the problems 100 times. BUT he WARNED us. "You NEED to work with the class tutor." Frightened, I did. This tutor TOLD US that Mo WANTS his FBD in a SPECIAL way. I did this 'way' on a test and got an F!!!! I told Dr. Mo but he laughed at me! I ACED the next test outta spite and dropped his class.
This class is self taught do not waste your time and money on this class! He is a complete joke and will hardly teach.
Lectures are a lot of life advice and personal stories, professor is nice and smart but for covering content it's mostly just power point slides. Only reason I passed was because of the Peer Mentor, he is super helpful and patient, highly recommend him. Final grades get curved at the end of the semester, so don't get too stressed.
Class SEEMED HARD AT FIRST but after 2 weeks it was a breeze (week 1-2 different than rest). MUST USE TEXBOOK (no lectures just demonstrations). If you are stuck or don't understand something, ASK (KEY TO SUCCESS IN HIS CLASS). He is very caring and will show you how to do it. If you finish early or are ahead you can leave whenever you would like.
I learned nothing and he never responds to emails. It genuinely feels like he does not care about us as students.
Really bad
Professor Mo is a great person, but he is not that good of a teacher. He is always willing to help you and he will give lecture for the first two weeks, after that you have to learn everything else from the book. I enjoyed the class because the Solidworks program is fun, but I can't imagine someone enjoying the class if they don't like 3D modeling.
