Believes that geography is the single most important subject. He is very good at teaching, however, as it has been a few quarters since I had GEO 101 but I still remember everything. Very interesting while not wandering off subject too often.

If you truly want to learn something about the world we live in, Mo is the professor you want. He will go in depth in all aspects of the subject and is available outside of class for further help. Mo is very knowledgable and a great person to know.

Mohsen is a great teacher, when you leave his class you will have learned a great deal. He is an American,with strong views,but an open mind. This is college,so to pass his course/tests it usually helps if you can spell,and proofread, unlike said above.

Mo is very helpful and NEVER wrong, he truly knows what he is talking about, even when you think he is wrong and you are right. He really cares about his students, he has the biggest heart ever and he wants everyone, no matter what major to do well.

a charismatic person, knowns a lot about geogrpahy but he lets his political views interfere with the class TOO MUCH -it takes him an entire quarter to get through one Chapter. You'll learn more about American foreign policy than about Geography.

Mo is a highly intellagent teacher. Sure, he has polital views, but he is open to everyone's opinion. He is truly an example of what the future needs as a teacher. He is the most helpful teacher I have ever seen at Sinclair, he is a wonderful man.

Mo is a phenomenal prof. Still, 5 years after I first came to him for guidance, he has provided me with valuable insight on where to attend grad school to obtain my PhD in the field. In his class you will learn the habits that will allow you succeed during the rest of your academic career.

Its hard, but you learn alot from his discussions in class. I have alot of respect for this teacher & if you cannot handle a instructor who will not let you slack off then do not take this class. This class teaches you about what is going on in the world, which I think every American should know.

I think that Moshen Khani is one of the Best Professors that I have ever had. He made me see things in a way that I would have never thought of looking at them. I truly appriciate all that he has taught me, including hearing his views on religion and Politics. Thanks Mo!!

Very hard class, but I got an A. We only got through the intro and Chap 1&2 so I wish we stayed on schedule. Has a lot of opinions and doesn't care if people get offended. His class really opened my perspective though. I learned a lot and fell in love with Geography.

The first few days I really didn't like Mo. Everything he said rubbed me the wrong way. However I remained in class and learned a lot. He is very passionate and does focus on certian areas such as the Middle East. He is great if you work hard and really want to learn. If you don't take someone else.

Mo is a very good teacher. This class is not easy atl all. Do not take this unless you are wanting to really learn Geology. Not a cake class. This course will challenge you!

Mo will make you learn. If you aren't ready to do that, you won't like him. He is very passionate about his work and won't tolerate slackers. He is the best teacher you could hope for!

Mo was very helpful and really cared about how his students did. He came up to me just to see how I was doing even 1.5 yrs after I had finished his class.

He is a great teacher if you are prepared to work. He doesn't hand out A's. He loves what he does and is very passionate about the world. He is also pretty hot!

Mo doesn't hate anyone. He tries to give WASP's a different perspective. Yes he talks about the middle east a lot, but currently that is the most important thing in geography to know about being involved in a war and all. Is everyone going to like him no, but if you want your veiwpoints challenged then take his class and learn.

He is a good Geography teacher. He seems to really know what he is talking about, and is very enthusiastic about what he teaches. However, politics, and the war in Iraq often come into the discussion taking the focus off of what we are learning about European geography!What does American politics have to do with that? Other than that, he's good.

Good Teacher! Best teacher I've seen so far at Sinclair. He really cares about his students and wants them to improve and succeed. There is no way you can fall asleep in this class... if you do you'll be awakened. Mohsen, I believe, has a good reputation @ Sinclair and that's good. Only prob. is he talks a lot, but it's interesting when he does.

The most passionate teacher in his profession on the PLANET. He is the "Crocodile Hunter" of Geography. An immigrant from Iran, he believes all his students should appreciate the oppurtunity they have at a good education. He expects his students to study hard. If you want a great teacher choose him, if your looking for an easy "A" or "B" forget it.

The only teacher i ever had that cried in the middle of class over poor children in the Sudan. He's like really hard to get a good grade from but loves what he does.

I took his class over a year ago and since then have finished my undergrad at WSU. I can honestly say that Mo was the most passionate profs I have ever had. His enthusiasm for the subject was contagious. Don't take the class if you are not willing to work hard or if you have problems with different view points.

Mo completely changed my outlook on the world and opened my eyes to subjects i had never paid any mind! You must go into his class with an open mind. He teaches more than geography not only because the subject itself is all-inclusive but he brings so much to the table and allows for open interaction at any time and his door is always open!

Mo gives EVERYTHING when he teaches, and he expects the same in return, so if you're looking for an easy class don't take his. If you're looking to learn, look no further- HE'S AMAZING. The only drawback is that you will walk away knowing ALL his personal political beliefs and he will want you to agree with him...even though he says he won't.

Mo tried to be a good prof. However, he lets small, irrelevent things get to him. We once spent a good part of class trying to get a native african to speak in his native tongue for instance. Mo will go out of his way to help you, even if you have to twist his arm a little. The best thing to do for his class is dont bring up your political beliefs

LOVED Mo! He was one of the best prof. I've ever had. He is somewhat arrogant and he does go on tangents; however, they are very useful. He expects a lot from students , including that u do independent studying. He may seem unapprochable, but if u do, he is very helpful. Does have strong views but apperciates others. Very passionate.

Mo is very intellectual and firm in his beliefs. If you're going to argue with him you better know your facts. He was extremely knowledgeable in this class, learned a lot. Know this: *Just because someone doesn't think what you do doesn't mean they are dumb or wrong* be prepared to hear Mo's strong views and don't get mad about it

Great professor! You can tell he really enjoys teaching and knows the subject matter well. He does give his opinion often, but, is also open to student opinion. I would take this professor again.

I love Mo, he will teach you well provided you are willing to listen. He holds his students accountable for their work and respects those who work to the best of their abilities. He does not tolerate mediocrity. At first he can be intimidating, especially since he projects his voice while he's teaching. Once you get to know him he's wonderful.

Mo is a great professor. He is very opinionated, but also has an extensive knowledge of a lot of things. By far my favorite professor I have ever had!

He is a college prof that has college expctations of his college students. Show up, do the work, study, and you will be fine.

Moh is the best mentor in social and Geographic Science, he refuses to dumb down the lesson and expects people to think and speak and to really connect to not just the material but to each other.

Challenging, but has a LOT of knowledge and is very passionate about the subject! He relates everything to Geography so be prepared to talk about real world issues...including politics and religion. He was tough on grades and really made you learn the subject. However as a teacher I am very glad I took his class. People gave him a bad rating a lot but that's just because they were too politically washed to see what he was actually trying to teach us about Human Geography. Mo is an amazing professor. He has so much knowledge not only on geography but the entire world. Yes he is clear in his beliefs and yes he will tell you if he disagrees with your beliefs but he's never rude, just honest. He does teach, he just wants the class to participate so he requires YOU to ask the questions. He's basically yoda.

Mo is maybe the most passionate person I've ever met. I seriously think that Geography is the love of his life which is really great because whether you want to or not, you WILL learn in this class. It doesn't stick to the schedule because he teaches you a lot of stuff that is more of the "big picture" variety. Its a tough class but worth it.

Mo truly loves geography, it's his life. Students who take this class as a gen ed will find it hard, he teaches and makes you study like if you were majoring in the subject. I took two of his classes in one semester it wasn't easy. As a person he's one of the best person you will meet, he has so many stories to share.
