Test impossible, teacher could care less about students, impossible to understand

Listing to someone scratch their nails on a chalk board would be a symphoney of music compared to listining to this man speak. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you want to do well in Econ.....

Does not give students ANY idea about the tests content. Tests are extremely difficult and long. Some concepts should be gone over multiple times but material is rushed. I hate to leave a bad remark but I'd avoid taking this class at Bergen.

I think this is the worst professor I have ever had in college. He Can Not teach 4 his life. Test are nothing of what he goes over in class because in class he doesnt teach. And he also wants u to finish his sentences like u no what he is goin to say

i found the difficulty of this course to be mostly cause of the professor

Terrible, TERRIBLE teacher. I'm taking his class this semester, and not only does he rush through material, look down on his students as if we are inferior creatures, but he does absolutely no pre-test coverage. If you have to take ECO, don't take Baligh.

He is an old man. His accent is foreign and very difficult to understand. He is a nice old man with a good sense of humor, but that doesnt help me in the long run. His tests are extremely difficult, and its easy to get lost in his class. avoid!!!

as of fall 2004 Baligh is the only economics professor during the day time at BCC. If you take economics take it after 6pm, so you don't get stuck with him. He is a horrible professor, condescending, and you will have a diffuclt time with his tests. even with a 40 point curve most peple still fai

prof.baligh is not very good in getting out all his point of view towards the course. he can give the most stupidiest example and he would think that we (students) under stood him. im very interest in the course but it make it hard for me to find interset with this prof. on board. please avoid him.

The worst professor ever..Very condescending, I would like to see the same effort he puts trying to put people down, in trying to help students. His frustration to be teaching in a community college is very clear, but how far can he reach, university level?? yeah right. The usage of words were often said by him in class and the grammer and punctuation are almost perfect which reminds me of him when he graded my paper. The man is insane & I don't know why a man with a degree from Oxford is teaching in Bergen. He is rude&should retire now.

I took the class several years ago, my first semester as a college student...WORST CLASS EVER. Not only does he not really want to teach, he clearly thinks he deserves better, and if he's so smart, Why the eff is he at BCC?? Nice guy but worst teacher ever. I'm a straight A student and I got an C in his class. He doesn't make any sense, gives useless notes and the textbook doesn't comply with his tests. His study sheets are a waste of time.

Dropped him after the first class. I understood maybe 15-20 percent of the words that came out of his mouth. Not only can he not speak english very well, but he also speaks very quietly. Usually, I can deal with accents and speech issues, but his is so thick and impossible to understand. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

This guy makes for a horrible teacher. He's difficult to understand, likes to belittle students, and is just plain morbid. His notes, if any, are illegible and prove to be irrelevant when it's time to take a test. Overall, he lacks communication and social skills to be teaching at BCC. Terrible professor. He is unclear and is almost impossible to pass. I dropped him halfway through the semester because my 4.0 was rapidly dropping. If you don't have to take him don't.

I'm typing this while I'm in the class, not only is this proffesor close to impossible to understand, he teaches things that are in chapters all over the book, making it impossible to study. I cant believe he is still teaching. I had him in 1979. Looks like nothing has changed. He failed 60% of the students every semester and they couldnt get him out of there. Yes, the jokes were bad, but thats the only thing i can remember after all these years. LOL
