If you want an easy class, The guys a dim wit.. He doesn't understand the material he teaches. He assigns huge amounts of home work with out looking at what it is.. Test wise, there's huge emphasis on remedial crap like how to spell hypotenuse or isosceles and complete neglect of harder problems. If your in college to learn, do not take.
This class was fun. I felt that I learned a lot about Math. The lectures are interesting and easy to understand. Yes, there is a ton of homework. Professor Barakat really tries to help to make Math easy to understand. He can be a bit impatient at times, and comes across a little rough around the edges, but, he means well.
SECT easy to understand, if you don't understand the material he'll do anything he can to help you out. LOTS of homework but that's what the tests are based on. Unfortunately I didn't pass Math125 but that's because the material itself is REALLY hard! He was helpful in every way, I just wish I had gone to his office to ask for help!
currently in his class, very easy to understand, but he doesn't put up with people slacking off. Also if your trying to add be sure to attend EVERY SINGLE DAY of the first week or he will not add you. Also tons of homework but honestly its to get ready for exams. all in all if you actually do your work you will pass with out a doubt.
He teaches step by step. Makes it clear and fun to understand. He's funny, cute!gives tons of h.w but will prepare u for the testes. All in all you can tell he loves what he does and teaches very well. Im actually even starting to like math because of him.
A pretty good teacher, he explains everything pretty well and will not hesitate to help you and is always open to questions, and will help you after-school hours. His tests are extremely long, loads of homework, does not grade on a curve, and if you're trying to add the class, you need to show up everyday for the first week.
He is a great TEACHER!All his lectures are crystal clear and he would not hesitate to explain a topic twice if one of us didn't get it.This class is for someone who actually wants to learn not for someone who likes an easy A.If you're never absent & do your homework then you will probably get an A.All his exams are straight forward nothing tricky.
GREAT TEACHER!!! Best math teacher I've ever had, he is extremely helpful and takes his time to explain as many times until you get it... He leaves tons of homework but nothing he does not explain in class, this is not an easy A but his class is just crystal clear I RECOMMEND IT!!!! BTW HE'S HOOOOT!!! :)
Awesome Teacher. Such a nice and funny man. Class wasn't easy but he is a very good teacher. Quite a bit of workload but definitely manageable. I strongly recommend him. Really helps you understand Math.
He is the best math teacher. I'm still taking his class. He gives a lot of homework. You need to do work if you want a good grade. I love him very much.. He is smart, explains very well. Im going to take math 120, 240, 265 with him if he will teach those classes. LOVE my Professor very much... Take Him... I highly recommend him.
He is the best teacher.. I love him very much. I highly recommend him. I'm still taking math 125 with him. Imgonna take 120, 240, 265 with him if he teaches those classes. He gives a lot of homework. I start to love math because of him. He is smart, excellent teacher.Take him, and you will look forward for his class every day. THe Best Prof!
He is perfect teacher. He does is job with love. When you r in his class, time flies. his class so interesting. I love math because of him. He is also very friendly. he explains same thing 100 times until u understand. I highly recommend him. If u want to learn math, take him.Im gonna take M120,240 with him.Noone drops his class,he is the BEST
I HATE MATH. That aside, Barakat is a GREAT teacher. I don't dread his class as much as I've always dreaded math classes. He's extremely clear, helpful, and will MAKE SURE you understand before he moves on to the next topic. Will take again!
I used to hate math until I took his class. He makes math easy to understand step-by-step. Homework is given daily but it's not so bad as long as you do it regularly. It also helps to pay attention in class,he's cute.
Best teacher. his class is not an easy A. he doesnt like people who are lazy. I love him. his class is crystal... if u wanna learn take him. btw, he is so cute and friendly.
He is the greatest! His enthusiasm and love for math is contagious. He will answer every question till you understand. His explanation is clear, makes algebra fun and easy. Planty of homework to practice and deepen your knowledge.Attendance is a must but I would NOT miss a minute. I wish he'd teach all the math classes. I'd stay with him forever. HOT!
Absolutely great teacher. Enjoyed being in his class. If you pay attention and attend every class, you wont have any problems. He explains everything as many times as you need until you understand. I wish he taught 240 next semester!
easy a! very rude to elderly students. highly DISORGANIZED with teaching materials! do not cheat or he will take away your paper. attendance is mandatory and be on time to his class. he repeats random sentences throughout class.
HE IS A VERY GOOD PROFESSOR, I'D SAY HE IS ONE OF THE BEST I EVER KNEW.
Greatest professor for math, he really cares about his students getting it and helps you til you do
Seriously disliked this teacher. NO calculator at all? Come on dude, everyone in the world, today uses a calculator. It's society. I just had a feeling we didn't like, like each other to begin with. Attitude from him since day one.
he thinks he's better & smarter than us all rather than making us feel like were his students, the class shouldnt be hard but he makes it alot harder than it is, he doesnt use the text book even thu he requested for us to buy it then he makes us print the lecture ... finally i dropped his class, will not recommend to anyone, beware!!!
He is the BEST teacher i've ever taken at Valley. He explains the material super well and very throughly! I have never in my ENTIRE life enjoyed math until I took this class. There is alot of homework, do most of it and you'll be just fine. You seriously will not find a better teacher then him! Amazing! Would recommend for slower students.
This professor is helpful and very funny. He explains math in a fun way and applies it to real life and how it can make you money. Overall very good and straight forward. You can't go wrong.
great math teacher but the class itself is hard, alot of homework, but if you're interestd in math class at valley college, highly recomended.
He is very passionate about teaching, but has a temper. If you ask him a question during lecture he'll most likely make you feel like a moron. No extra credit, a huge amount of homework. The final(25% of the grade) is nothing like the material covered. Impossible to get an A.
A very good math class I highly recommend it. The Professor is very good and he explains with clarity. I was not very good at math but in this class I understood most of the material and passed. Although there is a lot of homework and the final is really hard and cummulative, this is a great class and an excellent professor.
i hate math, but when i took his class it showed me that math isn't that bad. you must attend each class if you want to pass and take down everything that he writes on the board, because it will be helpful in the future. he's a GREAT prof. he explains everything. he does not tolerate people talking while he's teaching. will help after class if need
Took him for Winter 2012. He is an amazing professor who is very passionate about teaching and making sure his students understand the material.Make sure you attend all classes and do the homework.
He's a good professor, he's very helpful, and explains the material clearly. He may give a lot of homework, but that's college for ya! Make sure to study before the exam!!
Prof Barakat is the best math teacher I ever had: he is passionate a/b teaching & cares if his students learn the material or not. He moves thru the material according to how the majority of the class understands it & will help you if you ask questions. He assigns a lot of homework but test questions come from the homework. Attend class regularly.
I took hist class and got a D. So yeah :(
I loved math, until I entered his class. He makes everything more complicated than it really is. He talks all throughout the class and never wants to give a break. His homework takes forever to do, and they never have anything to do with what's on his test. Worst class/teacher I've ever taken.
he is one of the worst teachers I've ever seen !!! he is taking hard!
Professor Barakat is an amazing professor. Probably one of the best math professors at Valley. He is clear and enthusiastic. Humorous as well so it made my 3 hr winter session pass by very quickly. Highly recommended.
He makes the class harder than it is, goes to past.Lots of things to know in short time. He think everyone smart like him. I think the test come from some other place like mars. But he explain the problems very well, which does not work for the test.
Great teacher. Teaches well, clear, but at times can be quick. As a student, must take notes & follow closely. Attend every class, or get notes from someone. Best to attend and absorb material. He'll help you if you ask. Participate to understand, do the homework, and you should pass the tests. Excellent math professor.
This professor is good for people that are already really good at math. He moves way too fast. I studied super hard and did all my homework and was still getting horrible grades because he crams a lot of stuff in one test and last minute too. His reviews for the test suck. I feel his class has no structure. Thanks to this class i got my first "W"
HORRIBLE PREFESSOR!!!!!!!!if you want a stressful semester take his class. he is unorganized, unclear and unwilling to change. Basically memorize the proofs from the book and the definitions and youll pass without understanding anything.
He is hard but just make sure you attend class, do your homework, and study. He does move fast so try to keep up. He hands out helpful materials and shows you the long way to get the answers followed by a short cut. Oh... an NO CALCULATORS ALLOWED. Overall you can learn a lot from his class if you apply his methods and study.
He goes a little fast, but you'll be okay if you come every class. He gives plenty of good examples, I didn't need the textbook. Just be sure to have your homework done everynight, because he may take some of the problems for the test. He comes off intimidating, but he is really not so bad. Do not miss more than 6 days or he will drop you.
I took his class last semester, and I can say he is very knowledgeable and brilliant. To me, he is the god of math; he is very patient and excellent. Take him for any class if you can. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This professor is good for people that are already really good at math. He moves way too fast. I studied super hard and did all my homework and was still getting horrible grades because he crams a lot of stuff in one test and last minute too. His reviews for the test suck. I got my first "D" :( over all his good professor though.
Mr.Barakat is a great teacher, he is fast paced but is willing to explain something again if you ask. This is not a class you miss (but what math class is?) and he is fair when he grades. I will continue to take him because he helped me push myself and actually do the work. I left every class knowing that I actually learned something.
Barakat is a busy man because he has a ton of classes. This class was probably the best math class I have ever taken. He is such a nice guy, and he is very fair. His tests are not the easiest but they are not hard either. Take him for Math 260, you will learn a ton.
He is very knowledgeable in his field, and I will never doubt his skill in math. But his ability as a teacher is not on par with his skill in math. He is very condescending, and lacks the one ability a teacher must have, and that is to help.
Drops lowest test grade. Says "beautiful problem" x100, it gets annoying. Test mostly based on boardwork and homework. I had to deduct points at helpfulness because he was absent once for two weeks and expected us to know the stuff missed AND he grades really slow. I didn't get to review my last test for the final. still got an A. EASY CLASS.
If you are looking for a teacher to change your view on math this is the one. tests are difficult but he is the best teacher in the sense that he makes sure that everyone is on the same page. If you miss a 2+ class he will know and don't expect to be treated equally. He is very energetic and really knows how to teach.
He was really helpful to those who would help themselves. He explains the material accurately, and in a relatable manner to real life. I really liked his class, and I feel well prepared for ensuing course work after the fact.
Worst teacher ever. An arrogant useless teacher. You'd be better off staying home, reading the book, and teaching yourself. Don't ask any questions because he'll make fun of you in front of the class.
Amazing! I totally recommend
Biggest jerk. Makes you feel scared to ask questions and makes you feel stupid infront of the whole class on purpose. His lectures go so fast and confusing everyone in the class was lost. I'm an A student and I hardly got a C in his class studying my behind everyday. WORST TEACHER EVER!!! Before teaching he should take some manners class... RUDE
I suck at math and his the first professor that helped me understand the materiel after failing math 105 3 times I finally passed math 110 the first try with him thank you prof. Barakat!
makes you look stupid in front of the class. very rude and has no idea how to communicate with students.
Professor Barakat is an insightful professor, and wants students to not just learn mathematics, however wants them to apply to their everyday life... The only part I will expound upon is his test are all handwritten without the use of any formula sheet, no unit circle visualization, and rushed tests. The Summer and Winter intersessions are tough.
Great teacher. He really breaks down the material. I enjoyed lectures. I struggled in this class because of the fast pace of summer session and the little time allowed for exams. However, if you do all the homework and review your lecture notes several times, you'll be ok. His exams cover every little thing he taught in lecture so know everything!
Professor Barakat is the most arrogant instructors I have ever met. His tests are all self handwritten without any visualization of the formulas or the unit circle, in other words no reference material, all 30+ formulas memorized for regurgitation, insanely reckless so called teaching approach, especially during a 5week course. Students BEWARE!..
I never thought a professor could be this bad. He made me hate math. I do not recommend this professor at all. Keep away if you care about your time and GPA!!!
Barakat is one of my favorite professors ever! He's teaching skills are amazing and he is very funny as well. His class made me love math and prepared me to do amazing in my further math classes. He is a tough professor, but if you do your HW daily and chapter reviews in the book before the tests you'll be fine. (I took this class in 2013)
Great accent! He is very funny and sarcastic which makes it easy to listen. His tests are exactly what he gives in his lectures and HW and he lets u know what exact examples will be on the tests. Makes sure you understand before moving on. He lets you use note cards on tests so that's a big plus!! HW is simple just do it, ask questions, turn it in.
He is a great math professor. I would absolutely take him again. He makes sure everyone has a clear understanding and pressures students to be in class and to pay attention. His math knowledge is a turn on and I like his accent(it's really easy to understand). He is a fair grader and as long as you do the homework and come to class, you will pass
I attended his Math 125 course Fall 2014 and do not regret it one bit. This professor is knowledgeable, lectures with direction, and is able to tie all topics together. If one is willing to put in the time and the effort, chances are one will walk out with a high grade. His sarcasm and reality checks are a perfect guidance in the path to success.
Barakat is no mathematician. He is arrogant & completely turned me off from calculus 1 despite being a math major & plays favorites with students. I 'had' a 4.0 GPA until his class. He is very inflexible & will absolutely not expand beyond the scope of content he wants to cover. Exams use given HW problems. Is 'Crystal' clear with covered content.
Great professor. Very knowledgable, great teaching style! If you come to class, and pay attention very easy to pass.
Put simply, Professor Barakat is amazing. If I could take him for every math class, I would. He gives great lectures with opportunities to really understand the material. Do your homework, study for tests and you will earn an A. A lot of people failed because they did not put forth the effort Barakat required. Put in the effort and get an A!
Barakat is an amazing professor. He really gets into detail about the material and will answer your questions so if your confused about anything, dont be shy. He is however fast pased so if you tend to pick up slow i dont recommend him. He does give out alot homework. The final is literally based on the same problems as the previous exams.
Prof. Barakat is still a wonderful instructor he always is. It was an 8 weeks Cal II class. He is very clear and concern about students' understandings. He always try to make sure you understand the materials before moving on. His students like his humors, too. Do participate well in his class and do the homework, you will learn.
I passed the class, but the professor is really rude. At first I ignored it but when you feel the need to ask questions in class it can become uncomfortable. His lectures weren't helpful because he would spend as much as 40 minutes answering a single question while neglecting the new content. On a daily basis he kept our class 10-40 minute late.
Doesnt make math fun. Very strict also arrogant. Study guides were pathetic. Deducts points for the most minor things. Avoid this professor if you are not fond of math!
Tests are hard and his idea of a study guide is pathetic. Hours upon hours of homework daily. His teaching methods and attitude in general did not make math fun.
Although I believe Intermediate Algebra is not hard, the teacher itself is. Expect every day with homework in MyMathLabs; rewrite all (yeah I said all) Exam questions you did w/ explanation (20ea), and handle gettin docked points of a single question. I would rather go back to middle school to relearn the material but sadly I can't... sigh...
He has been one of the best math teachers I've ever had. He truly cares for his students and makes sure everyone understands before moving on with the lecture. He may be a tough grader and gives semi hard tests, but if your study you'll earn an A in the class. I highly recommend him. I look forward in taking him again for calculus!
He definitely made Calculus easy for me, at least as easy as it can get. He'll replace your lowest test w/ your final, and he always pushed backs tests if he felt like giving us an extra day to study. He also does a review day before the test. He loves proofs for everything but I learned to appreciate that. He takes his time during lectures.
No study guides hard tests, makes you keep a binder full of homework and notes to inspect every exam day. Very anal about deducting points for petty things. Class was like a ghost town by the end of the semester. Will also single you put in class and keep track of all and everyone of your absences. Takes 2-3 weeks to return exams
Great teacher. I definitely recommend him. Be ready to work yourself to the max.
He is an amazing professor. I learned so much in his class, i hope i can take his class again in the future. He teaches with clarity and if you need help he is there for you. He is always in a good mood and he has a very good way of explaining lectures. He makes you get a binder to keep all your class work and homeworks so you can learn better
Steve is one of the best professors I have encountered at LAVC. There is daily homework and binder checks but they're for your own benefit and he actually teaches you instead of giving you a bunch of problems to work out yourself. Take him if you're looking to actually learn something
Teachers are supposed to inspire the students not tear them down. Barakat has a lot of insecurities & a not so happy life outside of the class room, which is why he likes target specific people in the class... particularly positive students, who enjoy participation. Not to mention he is very inconsiderate and unkind to students with disabilities.
I absolutely hate math, but really identified with Barakat's teaching style. I received an A despite math being one of my worst subjects. He is sarcastic, but not in a condescending way. If you meet with him during his hours he is more than happy to help you with any confusion. I did however have to study my ass off and there's quite a bit of hw.
A very good teacher. He is only crude at times because he wants to give us a push to work harder and even then he still helps everyone.
never take him. bad, bad, bad. he is a nightmare.
Professor Barakat is my favorite Professor even though I had to do a late transfer to his class. His lectures are very interesting, but his class is very challenging.
this proffesor is rate high because all test questions are exact from hw. he doesn't teach calculus material to class, only does homework problems that he assigned. promises that test will be multiple choice and next day gives all essay question tests. Good class if you memorize hw. you will not learn material compleetly. mean to students
I really enjoy this class at first I was scared but if you need help he will go over the homework to make sure you understand. You don't need the book but you do need the access code in order to complete your homework. I would for sure take his class again.
Great professor. Had a lot of homework but doing all the homework practically guaranteed an A on tests. I actually found myself looking forward to his class because he is fun and personable
He is a great professor. I like his teaching method. His lectures are interesting and you will never feel bored from this class. Do your hw and it will help you to be ready for the test. Don't be afraid of asking questions!
Great teacher. May be harsh at times, but tells it like it is. Doesn't allow for many absences, so showing up to class is a must. Lots of homework and most of your grade is based the exams he gives. Exams equate to the homework so if you do the homework then you are fine. I recommend him to those who are struggling with math and want to pass.
Also goes by Steve. He's a great math professor. Homework is online and there's a lot but it helps for tests. 5 tests but the lowest score is dropped. He'll go over the homework problems people had trouble with and will review the tests the class before. He'll tell you how much you need for your final in order to pass the class. Worth the struggle.
Very strict on attendance, 3 strikes and you're out. Homework is online and just space out your time evenly and you shouldn't get overwhelmed. Wants to make sure students learn efficiently. He's funny too! Would take again, he's great.
Required Attendance is required!! He will drop you. I took him for Winter 2017. Only allows 5hrs of absence & for spring allows a week and if you miss he drops you himself. He's explains GREAT. He has an accent but doesn't really affect his teaching. Homework tons but it's reasonable through an online access code. Seems scary but not that much.
The best teacher, if you respect him he will respect you and do what you want from answering questions or so never try to answer back at him if he criticize you because you will regret it amazing lectures, Funny math jokes, people come here to study and learn so dont try anthing like talking or listening to music in class just be cool for 1 hour
Steve is a really good professor, but he is tough. I took him over the summer which I kind of don't recommend because it is alot. He's HUGE on attendance. DO NOT come late. Teaching wise, he's fantastic. Clear, concise, helpful, and funny. Take him, hes cool just not over the summer or you'll pull your hair out.
Ive always struggled with math and last semester that I took him I got an A. He comes off a little rude at times but hes an amazing professor and really knows what hes talking about. He does care about his students and is always willing to help after class with questions. He does give a lot of homework but as long as you do it, youll be fine.
He only appeals to those with a good sense of humor, don't take if you're sensitive. He's an amazing math professor. He makes sure all of his students are disciplined, he's strict but he cares. The class is fairly easy if you do all the homework, he goes over the whole test & tells you what every single question is going to be about. He's awesome
He is sarcastic and will not tolerate absences. He will call you out in front of everyone and even make inappropriate comments. There is homework EVERY NIGHT. Lectures and covers up to 3 sections and homework is due the next day by 8pm. Tests are only 20-25 problems and he will go over the exam thoroughly the day before.
Not the best teacher! There are better 125 teachers at Los Angeles Valley college. Im letting you know! Do not take this teacher , he has attitude and very discouraging. Don't waste your time on him! He uses fear to get the best of you! I recommend You drop Him right away, for your sake . Goodluck !
He teaches step by step
Great professor! 5 exams throughout the semester + final consists of questions from those exams. So save them and study them for final. If you put in the work, you will pass. Definitely makes you work for your grade but I'd take again. Really cares if students understand; ask & he's willing to further explain concepts. Funnyctures aren't boring
Great teacher. He will call you out in front of the whole class, but thats only if you do something youre not suppose to such as sleeping in class, or start packing before he finishes his lecture. Hes very clear in his lectures, so that helps a lot with learning. Basically, do your work, and itll be a smooth semester.
First math class Ive ever gotten an A in. Goes at a great pace and helps you understand the material through and through. He may be sassy but thats only if youre disrespectful or goofing around. Quite a bit of hw but it really helps with the 5 tests. He goes over questions from hw. Funny genuine guy, would definitely take again!
I e-mailed the teacher early on that I would miss my first day of class due to medical reasons. His excuse was that he gets a lot of emails (obviously didn't check it) and decided to point his finger at me and make a joke out of me in front of the class. He said it counted as an absence and that two more I'd be dropped from the class. No thanks
Great professor who explains the material really well. Like any math class, it is challenging, but if you keep up with the homework its not that hard since most exam questions are from the homework.
He's a really good teacher. I took him for math 125 and received a B. If you go to class everyday and get your work done you'll get a good grade. Also do all your homework it really helps with his tests. Honestly if you don't like him you're soft.
I found this professor to be very rude and I did not like the way he embarrassed students in front of the class. He also graded very unfairly on exams. There are a lot of really great math teachers at LAVC and I would recommend taking another.
Had to go from live class to online bc of COVID-19. I loved his lectures both in real life & in a virtual space. He answers every & all questions, & explains it slowly. Real life tests are around 12 questions w/written work. Online are 12-15, some chapters were multiple choice, others written. All of the qs pulled from hw, so do them.
He demands students to bring donuts to class if they're late. He insults, ridicules, and humiliates students. He writes critical comments on tests with wrong answers. He teaches straight from the textbook, but the textbook explains the material better. His teaching method is convoluted because he can only regurgitate the material.
Rude and will judge your questions and consider them as interruptions. He can be helpful, but he ruins it with his attitude as if he's owed respect without returning it. You have to pay for an online textbook and you'll most likely use it to teach yourself a lot since he won't. And this is from one of his better students. He got BIG boomer energy.
Nah I thought he was cool in the beginning but he just the opposite. He is literally rude to students. I felt like I couldnt ask questions because hell judge my questions, he did it to other students who were concerned. Calls people out in class and doesnt even teach? Spent an hour and 25 minutes going over homework and nothing else. Dropped
See the thing is, he can be quite rude. If you work best when professors are caring and actually take the time for you to learn, don't take him. He will make you feel like you should already know the answers to the questions you're asking and I personally can't work well with a professor that doesn't encourage me.
AWFUL! I had to drop his class because I would not have been able to maintain my gpa. He is VERY rude and condescending. He gets annoyed when you ask too many questions. He assigns a ridiculous amount of homework that take a while to complete. He assigned 3 homework assignments the day before an exam. Easily the worst professor at Valley.
The professor was very difficult to work with, very unprofessional, and overall had a very condescending attitude when approached by students. I would recommending avoiding any of his classes as his overall attitude makes the class miserable.
Prof Barakat is a great teacher. As long as you pay attention, take notes, and go over the study guides you will do well. However, your grade is based almost entirely on tests, so make sure you study and manage your time well. That's where I messed up ): but I'd definitely take him again. He can be very discouraging but his teaching makes up for it
The class was one that should be passable so long as you complete the homework. The tests are based off of it and if you have any issues with a specific problem, the professor will go over it in class the day after assigning it so you can complete it at home. As long as you don't ask a question that has just been answered, all questions are valid.
He is truly the best professor I've ever came across. He truly cares for all his students and helps them succeed. He really makes sure all his students understand the material. He lets you know whats covered on all the exams as well as prepares you to be fully ready. He did every effort to make sure I understand the material.
Genuinely the most awful professor I've come across. He is very rude and brags about most people not passing his class. He said he would give our class extra credit if we showed up in person to an online class and waited until someone asked when we would get the extra credit to tell us that he cant do that. Was extremely rude to other students.
This professor is very disrespectful to students. Just flat out rude and likes to make this class a lot more difficult that it needs to be. Not helpful whatsoever and yelled at another student for trying to help me catch up. His lectures are fast paced and not helpful at all. He is very discouraging. Stay away at all costs.
This professor is incapable of correctly teaching coursework. You are meant to teach yourself as he assigns hours of homework a day for a simple pre-calc class without going over it. He does not understand that people have things to do and that his teaching method isn't really teaching. He is just there to make fun of you and drop you.
Professor Barakat's MATH259 class is challenging, but if you stay on top of the homework and use tools like Unstuck ai, you can succeed. He really cares about students' understanding and is willing to explain concepts further. With dedication, this class is worth taking.
Professor Barakat is a little rough around the edges, but he is DEDICATED. His lectures are amazing, he will not stop until you understand the material. He has no problem doing side review from previous math classes. I learned SO much in his class, take him if you want to be successful in your next math class!! Best math prof at Valley! (+Mendoza)
