This guy has it all!!! He is young, good looking, smart, funny and can relate to his students. The tests come straight from the lecture notes and homework. The tests are challenging, but not difficult if you do your homework and put forth effort. His humor makes class fun and interesting.

I truly enjoyed Mr. Hamka aka. Moussa. He made the time fly by. I've struggled with Math in the past & had problems asking for help. Moussa was very help and supportive. If you did your work, tried and participated in went the extra mile with help with any poblems 1/2 before class. If you have to take a Math class just 4 take Hamka Moussa.

Really enjoyed him as a professor, he really wants to help you learn. As long as you go to class, PARTICIPATE, and do the homework, you'll be fine. Not bad on the eyes either!

I really enjoyed taking this class. Mr. Hamka went through the chapters as planned. He gave us tons of homework, but it helped us prepare and excel on the test. I think this class was fun, students must do their homework, participate in class, and study. Mr. Hamka gave us some good breaks throughout the semester also so don't stress yourself.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.Not every student likes him,but i garantee you that very few studnets hate him.I have taken him twice now with no problems.He is a cool guy, and a good teacher.The last rater needs to relax,Hamka always tells us that teaching at HFCC is his favorite part of the day,and never mentions money.Hamka's the man!

I took him in the summer. He mentioned that this was his 1st summer class, and it showed. He gave WAY too much homework. Other than that he was a pretty good teacher. He did make the class interesting and he is clear with his explanations. If I had to take him again I would, just not in the spring or summer.

I also had him in the summer, i will never do that again. He is ok and i will take him again if i have to but i will make that my last option. I have learned to network with other students in school before i take someone. I failed his class and re-took the class with Ailawadi , i worked twice as less as i did in Hamka's class to get an A

A true asset to his profession. It is very rare to find a teacher that is passionate about their subject matter. Mr. Hamka's enthusiasm is contagious and his work ethic is admirable. He always found a way to "dumb" things down for us. We all enjoyed the 'kid" and "bus" example. Keep doing what your doing Mr. hamka and good luck with the new baby.

Mr. Hamka is a very easy going instructor who really breaks down each section. He has made math more than easy and he is the funniest instructor I have ever had..he should truly be a comedian. He really is the best!!! Give him a try.

Very hard working teacher. Knows the material really well...and helps students out. Dont expect this class to be a blowoff. THe class it slef is hard, not him. Its the material. Well where do I begin...he was a great teacher! I hated math but he made math fun and interesting. And yes he is HOTT, but that did not hit me until late in the semester. Anyway he does need to relax some and take his time with those who need the extra attention. Hamka you are cool, just learn to relax and slow down especially intro classes!

People u need to relax. Nobody is perfect. he is doing his job, although i didn't get along at first he knows what he is doing and he helps. No he does not hit on anybody, he just joking. if he does. sometimes he just gets happy about the material he likes to jump around. Always take him, he helps out so much.

Not an easy A at all. passionnate about his job and it shows. and he is very cute too! i aimed for the A, but didnt get it. Love his class, would definitly take him again. Precalc is now a piece of cake after his class.

Mr. Hamka was great!He did many examples,always answered questions at the beginning of class regarding hw.But he did give lots and lots of hw,so u might feel overwhelmed by it.It does become a hassle and a hinderance,it gives u little time to actually study a bit more for tests.But trust me u want to do all the hw.Check his curving,it's a bit iffy.

He's a great teacher. Sometimes he used to bother me when he jokes. He gives a study guide for practicing for the test to help you out and whatever problems on the study guide comes exactly on the test but different numbers. I would recommend him as teacher even though you gotta be in class everyday and work a little hard outside the class.

I wish Mr.Hamka teaches me Calc 2. He is the MOST helpful when it comes to tests! I really enjoyed being in his class. He is NOT boring unlike all the others. He is young & cool and teaches us what we NEED to know, not what we don't! There are though some flaws in him in my opinion, BUT compared to other instructors,I don't care about those flaws!

Calc by nature is hard and challenging to say the least.Hamka was able to effectively teach the material at a level where most are able to understand.He has high standards and he will push you.This class is not a blow off as he does assign HW.I will agree with the last post,he does put people on the spot,espicially if u r sleeping/talking/texting.

I agree with the previous person. He assigns a lot of homework, barely grades any of it, and it doesnt even help with the tests or class. He is also mean to all the students because he thinks he is better than them. He also screws u over if he doesn't like you which he did to me. His tests are also very unfair and so is his grading.

I'm a high school student who was really nervous about not being able to understand clac.Mr. Hamka was such a great prof and made learning so much easier and through his stories, also taught us so much about life. Over the course of 8 weeks he has not only taught me calc, but inspired me to be a better person. definately an awesome professor!

THE BEST!! Not only is he eye candy BUT he knows how to teach. I never had questions because he makes everything plain! If your AFRAID of math TAKE HIM!! There are all nationalities in my class and he answeres every question, I have heard him tell students wait til after class BUT thats all races. I would take him for ALL math classes if I could.

His class was interesting. He did know his math stuff and taught it good. I will say I think he needs to be tougher on students disrupting the class though. He is a very active teacher and has a lot of side comments that do not pertain to math, but all in all he is a decent teacher!

took his class in the spring, and it was very easy. he is a very easy to get along with, i never seen him pick favorites or anything like that. As long as you do your homework he will answer any questions you have. However he doesn't return tests in a timely manner so dont rely on that.

The best Calc teacher @ HFCC! He explains things clearly, gives practice exams, and allows us to make test corrections. He is hot, and funny...I personally like hearing his stories they make you stop and think about whats important in life. More dads should be as passionate towards their family like him.

Nice guy and his tests are just like the studyguides but he sometimes pulls out these random hard problems on the test :/ It pretty much depends on if he likes your class or not. Basically you have to study and get ready to be independent because I feel like he does not help you besides the notes. STUDY!!!

Hes very easy to understand and nice. tells A LOT of stories but over all an easy teacher. Only 3 exams and maybe he'll throw in a quiz. not to much homework but lots of notes. def. recommend him!!

Mr. Hamka is a great teacher. He explains things very well. However, his class is not an easy A. You have to put in the time and do all the work. If you study his notes, his guides, and do practice problems from the textbook then you should do just fine.

He's very helpful. Very funny. He makes math easy, and I am usually terrible at it. As long as your class has fun people, the entire class will be a breeze. His stories are always interesting and he creates a relationship between him and his students. You need the book and MathLab.

He gives a lot of homework, but i believe thats how you learn the material. If he didn't give the amount he did, personally I don't believe I would've learned. Unlike most professors he goes over any questions you have and explains thoroughly . He definitely knows how to teach math, best math professor/ teacher I've ever had, hands down.

Professor Hamka is by far the most significant, most genuine teacher I have ever had in my life. If you have the opportunity to take him, please take it immediately as he profoundly takes care of his students and makes sure everybody understands his lectures and tells personal stories in the free time that makes us feel connected to him.

This professor is very easy!! homework per week and is very helpful. his lectures are easily accessible whenever! do your work show it to him and you're in a good position. Loved his class
