Prof. Abbas is very helpful & answers any questions you have. He takes his time & makes sure you understand the problem.Makes the class interesting,is not confusing & I really enjoyed the class.

Comes out very serious in the beginning, but then becomes very friendly and supportive.

His class was a great experience. I looked forward to being there everyday. He makes math appear simple. He calls on students to participate to make sure everyone understands everything for test day and to keep the class alive. He really cared for our sucess.

He is the best professor I have ever had! He always showed how applied mathematics fields are needed in whatever field we wanted to do in the future..I actually started liking math believe it or not. Just don't get distracted with his great looks and sweet personality..

I had him for calculus laboratory, and he was very nice. He gives sample exams and reviews that were very close to the tests which made it easy to do well in his class. He is friendly and funny and cute ;)

He is wonderful,cool,friendly. And very talented at teaching . He does require constant class participation :( he does put u on the spot if u mess up on a quiz or miss a homework.If we did a mistake after he stressed about it before the test, he gets quite mean and insulting. Otherwise, he is really great. He gave us a pizza party which is nice.

If u study his notes, u can't do bad. His test questions are straight from his notes and review, no difference. If u take this dude, ur in luck. He always came with good news and bad news , neither of which was actually bad. Quite an entertaining class.

Very helpful guy. Everything is great. Test questions straight from class notes...just not that many questions, so too many points lost if a question is wrong. Yet, his tests are identical to review.

He was by far the coolest Prof I had. He can be a show off at times , but he is really good at teaching, and very fair in his grading and tests. I would recommend him over any other math Prof I have had.

Laid back and chill. Took him again for my elective course. Wish he taught other subjects as well.

had him in 2011 . loved his class. Loved him ! He was an amazing character in every way. Teaches math very well and is very helpful and understanding. But he never answers his emails :-( and and its like the class's joke on him every time he walked in. All in all, u r very lucky if u take his course.

Amazing professor, I learned more from him than any of my teachers in High School. He will try his best to pass you, but if you're lazy and don't do work don't count on it.

He gave one homework the whole semester and it was for extra credit on an exam. He also doesnt make you buy the book because he doesnt use one, so there are alot of notes. If you miss a class be sure to have someone in the class you can ask for the missed notes. He has office hours but is also open to helping right after class if hes not busy.

IF YOU WANT TO PASS MATH TAKE HIM! very straight to the point, does not use the textbook (saves you money) & does not do the labs (saves you time). the tests are straight from your notes, the problems he does in class are what is on the test. has a sense of humor & is helpful, makes math less complicated & stressful. if you can take his class do it

Prof. Abbas was a good teacher. Kind of fast paced, but if you keep up with him, you will understand for sure. I never got high scores in any math course prior to taking his course. Overall, easy class if you pay attention, attend everyday, and take notes. Would definitely take his course again.

two tests are worth 30% and final 40%. He's a great guy. He explains math in the easiest and most simplest way as possible. The test and finals may seem heavy. But aslong as you show effort that your trying. You will pass, he's very passionite and understands that were all not math whizzes. He prefers effort over talent. grear professor overall

Funny, outgoing and easy professor. He doesn't beat around the bush. You will know exactly what is on every single test. He does not assign homework, he does not require textbooks, however if you miss one class you're screwed because you need his notes. He makes sure you understand everything prior to moving on to the next subject.

He's very understanding and one of the best professors I've had. His main goal is to see everyone pass and pass happily. He's very thorough and will never just leave you to figure something out on your own. If you want to do well and learn and remember information definitely take his class! Not only all that but he makes everything fun to learn!

Very sarcastic but funny prof. Take him and you will pass the course, just study for the exams. Many times he will give extra points on exams and even get rid of your lowest test score. Would def take again, plus he's a hottie.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! Took him for remedial math and then again for SLS 217! Makes class enjoyable and the material is easy to understand. I hated math until his class! Very funny and sarcastic. Wish he taught SLS 218 also!

He was a great teacher especially online, since it is a little harder virtually. When he went over homeworks every week he broke it down what he wanted to see on the final but make sure you take good notes because he wants the math done exactly how he taught it. He is a little unclear with directions but other than that he was a great professor

I thought his class was hard. But stats overall is hard for me. He is really understanding and he'll look out for you with good communication. The only thing I didn't like is that he gave no homework so it just caused for more studying and it was hard too get the extra practice I needed. Otherwise he's a really good teacher.

Very funny and knowledgeable professor. He joked a lot but made sure we actually grasped the material. I endured something stressful during the semester and he ensured I felt safe/present during class. Really a good guy.

I'm currently in the middle of my semester with this Prof. One of the best Profs.I've ever had. His classes have no homework and all his tests are based on questions you've done in class. He drops the lowest test score and is overall very reasonable and clear in his explanations and if you don't understand something he'll explain it again. 11/10

I've never written one of these before but this professor deserves all the 5 starts he gets honestly. I absolutely SUCK at math but he did make it easy. He always takes questions in class and gives us dates for tutoring and math workshops. Something happened in the beginning of the semester for me and he was so caring and showed so much support.

Honestly this was probably one of my best Professors.He was very understanding easy class always willing to help if I could take this class again I definitely will.He doesn't assign any homework highly recommend to take his class.
