She's cool. She can be intimidating, but she is worth it. She does have a bit of a hearing problem too. She is certainly worth taking. P.S. She likes to scare the first day.

If you have a hard time with math and take someone else WATCH OUT! She makes it easy to understand. She has pissed people off, but you have to get to know her and know she is teasing. Makes understanding Phil. easier!

Moya is the best teacher I've ever had. Whoever thinks she's rude or mean needs to lighten up. She is great and teaches wonderfully. She wants to help. Don't have a stick up your behind and this class will be soo much fun. She's jsut awesome, I wish I could have her in all of my classes.

Moya is a great teacher. She's deaf so make sure you get her attention before asking a question. She's kind of mean the first day and she'll pick on you like an older sister but she's never boring. Logic is hard so prepare to study.

Her class was kind of easy. She is weird in a good way. She's a little deaf and it's kind of hard to get her attention, but she makes the class very fun. Her quizes are ok..just take notes to what she says and you'll do fine. I totally recomend her.

I think Moya is a great teacher. She is really tough, but it is for our own good, and she is really funny. If you need to have a really tarditional teacher, she may not be for you, but if you are open-minded, you can learn a lot. She challenges you. Isn't that what college is for?

I think the term for Moya is "endearing." she's very entertaining, and very interesting. maybe she's different, but then isn't everything new "different?" Isn't that the point of school. I loved her class. Philosopy piques your interest in an entirely different and unique way than other classes. she's helpful, and understanding. A+++

Show up class and do homework, then you will get A or B. She seems to enjoy teasing students. If you are good at math, this is cake!

This teaher is a total trip, and I say it with love. She is hilarious, she will bring up controversial topics just to get the class to wake up. If you're frothing at the mouth you're awake, right?

She cancels class a lot. She never actually grades your papers because she is so far behind. You take a final that is never graded. Why would you hate her? I loved her!

Her class was basically three tests, since I had a B from those three tests she said I didn't have to take the final. Her lectures can be weird and sometimes funny but if you follow the basic concepts of the book you can easily pass this class. For the most part just show up and nod your head to pretend like you understand what she said.

Moya is hard, do not be deceived. Students need to have the time to dedicate to her assignments, you can't miss class or you'll be lost. If you need help, she's there. She has a great sense of humor, she tells stories...My class was at 720am, so she did a lot of shock value to wake us up. This is a really good class, and is on university level

At first I dreaded going to class. I thought I was going to fail. She gives quizzes randomly. She's a cooky/wackly lady. Do the homework and try and complete all the quizzes and tests and you should be fine.

She's pretty funny and sometimes if she notices you're working hard on a test, she'll point you in the right direction in solving something if she sees you're getting it.

She is a wonderful lady. Very nice and approachable, I recommend taking her for Phil, I got an A and that is better than some of my friends in other classes. She is willing to help if you need it. But pay attention and do all of your homework and you will do fine. Don't miss class! It's not worth it to fall behind!

She is AWESOME! She makes learning the material VERY easy!! She wants her students to succeed and understand the material. SHe teases students, but nothing too harsh. It's all for fun. She makes the class entertaining and if you show up and pay attention, you should do extremely well.

I took her class years ago, but she was my favorite! I actually loved all her stories. It makes it easy to understand the subject and makes the class very enjoyable. I looked forward to her class, which is something I don't think I've ever done. I would def. look into taking another class of her just for fun. Very nice lady.

This is a hard class, but it is necessary for your degree. Moya is extremely halpful and will tutor you or help in any way she can. She tries to make lectures interesting. People who don't like her probably do poorly and want someone to blame.

Moya is awesome! I love the way her brain works! She is sarcastic and witty and really knows her subject. Moya makes philosophy and logic easy! I highly recommend this professor to any student that wants or needs to take philosophy. It is important to study the text, but she is sooo much easier to understand than the book. Good teacher and class as long as she doesn't find a reason to single you out or pick on you. One on one she is very helpful, but in class she is not afraid to say anything, no matter whose feelings she hurts.

Moya truly has a passion for philosophy. She doesn't care what anyone thinks and will teach you right. No subject is sacred to her. Moya has a lot of life experience and draws on that to make examples. The only negative thing about the class is that she's partially deaf and so probably won't hear you the first time. Besides that, awesome class.

Moya is pretty coll and weird but she really knows what shes saying. Learning in her class was always fun and she is very helpful and is a fairly easy class. I would take her because she is really helpful, an easy grader, and has a great attitude!!!

Very nice woman. Take advantage of her office hours and extra credit. Almost didn't get an A because of the first test- make sure you are VERY prepared for the first one. She is very kind and is more than willing to help her students!!

I have taken Moya for three classes cause she's just so enjoyable. She has a strange sense of humor, can be kinda vulgar and loves to talk about things that make people uncomfortable. But it's worth it. You learn tons and you have fun doing it. If she picks on you, don't take it personal, she either knows you can take it or knows you can do better.

I never would have thought Logic could be this interesting. But she did it! Moya knows how to put on a show and have it ingrained in us for life (hopefully, that is). Just a warning though, if you're easily offended, you won't last long. She makes fun of everybody and everything. And that's why she's so awesome! I highly recommend you take her!!

Not going to lie. She is a tough teacher. She will work with you as much as you need but non the less her lectures are helpful but its maonly up to the student to go home and study for 3 hours straight.

Amazing professor. Her lectures are extremely informative and are useful at helping you remember topics that the book will only blandly explain. According to her she is partly deaf, so if you're sitting in the back of the class you probably won't get to hear her over the talking of other students (I highly recommend sitting near the front).

Logic, either you get it or you don't... I didn't! Professor Moya was super. She knew when students were having a hard time. She lead extra class/study time on the weekend before tests to ensure everyone had a chance to ask questions.

Moya is the kind of teacher you'd find at a university. Makes your grow, but a total pain. I succeeded in her class so working hard paid off. Do your readings, be present mentally in class, and do your best to figure her out. I grew a lot but be ready to work hard and reap the rewards!

Shes the best. If you found her class hard, then you shouldnt be in college. Yes, you have to read a lot and the homework amount is normal like any regular college course. Youll be glad you took her class. Give her a chance, shes there to open your mind. Teaching people to have different perspectives isnt an easy task. Shes the best teacher.

He is an awsome professor. His lectures are long but they do help. His tries to get the class involved with discussion and let's you share your own thoughts. He gives great reviews for the exams. His quizzes are a breeze, and makes sure you are prepared. Would definitely take again.

There's three books, you can buy them used. Make sure to do the reading and you'll be fine. There are two group projects,but there's plenty of time to get it done. There is 3 papers due that are 3 to 4 pages , make sure to get them down. The professor gives you credit as long as you get them done.

I took her Phil B12 class and she is the most inspiring teacher you will ever have I think i cried a total of 5 times in that class because of how impactful she is. I learned so much in her class and so much about myself it was great.

If you get an A on the final you will get an A for the class. She also gives extra credit for forming study groups. When i took her class, about half of the class got an F and the other half got an A. There is really no middle ground. overall great, but if you want an easy A take someone else.

If you want an easy A, go somewhere else. If you want to LEARN, take Prof. Moya. Amazing! Fell in love with logic because of her. Class moves fast but if you do the work, you'll be fine. Absolutely would take her again!

Professor Moya is one of the best teachers BC has to offer. Do not judge her abilities by the first two weeks of class because she can scare students off but the ones who stay do well. Her lectures are some of the best and she does them in a way that makes philosophy easy to understand. She's a great choice for a teacher.
