Cool and great teacher. Easy A class, unless you do not study at all.

This teacher is Rock!!!! She is very nice to people. Always want her student to pass the class by giving give-away questions for the mid-term and final. Also,for shy people, u dont have to worry taking this class.She will make u as comfortable as possible

She gave us giveaway questions for midterm. Most people get A in her class.

She is really easy and funny, the only way you can't pass this class is if you really don't do your speeches and follow the outline.

Probably the easiest class I've ever taken. She's very clear and specific and never leaves anyone in the dark. She grades very fairly, and even generously. Her over-optimism and corny humor can get slightly annoying, but she's extremely kind and I reccomend her to anyone who needs to take speech.

When I took this class I was so nervouse I thought I would never pass it. I took the class hoping just for a C but Dr. Anson is a very very good proffesor and made it so easy for me to get up in front of the class to do a speech and I did it I overcame my fear and I got an A. She is the BOMB! I strongly recomend her.

Dr anson was a great teacher. she is a fun and enjoyable teacher. not to hard, just show up to class and you'll do fine. i heard she is switching to mulitable choice test, which are easy. i am not a great test taker and i skimed over the book and got the highest grade on the test. take Dr Anson she makes speech fun.

Very fair and easy. Makes you feel comfortable while doing speeches. Very clear on what she wants. If you're going to take speech she's the one to go with.

Good class. Dr. Anson is great. She keeps things very relaxed and not too difficult. She wrote the textbook and made sure it was concise and inexpensive. I highly recommend her class.

She was way awesome and way easy. I think what makes her class so easy is that she wrote the book and knows her stuff. Her four assignements aren't hard at all and she gives you some of the answers to her tests!

She makes everything so easy for the students to follow. If you do not get an "A" ,you are lame! She wants everyone to do well and shows everyone EXACTLY( holding your hand) step by step how to get a perfect score. By the way she is VERY nice!

Dr. Anson was awesome! She created an atmosphere that didn't make me hyper-ventilate! I enjoyed her style of teaching, and she was very helpful. You didn't have to create a very LONG speech, although she does time you. The textbook that she uses for her class is the one she wrote! That was great too! I highly recommend taking her class!

I was not looking forward to this class at all. But I took it because I was recommended by a friend. So now I am recommending you. Her class is easy and the speeches are not hard at all. She does not critize you and she is a very decent grader. I dont want to say it is an easy A, but if you have to take this class take Dr. Anson.

EXCELLENT TEACHER

If you can't get an A in this class, something is wrong...Easy grader, but talks about herself ad nauseum. I've never had an instructor tell me what their GPA was for every step of their education. She wrote the $50 textbook, which you can't sell, or buy used. Easy, easy class.

Dr. Anson is amazingly funny at times. She is so clear on what she expects. Anyone can pass this class if you follow "the formula" for all her speeches. Its easy cheesy! lol... Literally, she can be cheesy but she's such a funny lady... Very sharp and can help you really build confidence in delivering a speech... I recommend her to ANYONE!

Very helpful, clear and sometimes really funny.

The class is better than I expected. I was real afraid to take it and then it turns out to be one of my favorite one's at Citrus. She is not to hard a grader and funny at times.

Excellent Professor. Knows how to motivate you. Was afraid to speak in front of people. Now, a little tense, but have confidence. It's a confidence building class and you make great friends. Fair at grading. Do what's required, you'll get by great. Tests are on lectures and book material.

Dr. Anson is a gem! I absolutely love her! Great teacher, great at communicating, extremely helpful and her class was SOOO MUCH FUN! You don't bond with your classmates until you take a speech class. Everyone is nervous but everyone is there to support eachother. TAKE THIS WONDERFUL TEACHER.

mrs anson is just ok. the class itself is really easy all you need to do is use her outline. try to do your speech on the first day she is more lenient. wrote her own boo so makes you have to buy it because you have to tare out pages and turn them in. and you cant photocopy. kind of a snob dont need to go to class just on speech days.this teacher:(

i took the class in summer. it was so good. easy to follow formula. i hate to speak, it is so hard, teacher made it clear and now speaking is not easy better than before.

I hated the idea of public speaking prior to this class. However, she made it a fun and safe environment to learn. Still wasn't easy for me to get up there but I did it and I don't think I could have without the help of such a kind teacher. Highly recommend.

Take this class, Professor Anson is the greatest. I was so afraid to speak in public before her class and now I am not! Lot's of class participation and you get to know everyone. Study for mid-term and final and follow the outline and you'll get an A. I highly recommend her!

I am scared $h!tless when it comes to speak in front of the class, but she's changed me into total opposite.Exams R very EZ. Participate by simply following the formulas given by her, for pretty much all the speeches, and U get an “A”. Let me put it this way, If U wonna FAIL the class, U’d have to work hard. Dr. Anson knows her stuff! class is easy and she makes it enjoyable. highly recommend her. mid term and final exam are 40-t/f questions, which she gives about 10+ when attendance is low.

Very Entertaining and Helpful Professor! Just follow the speech formulas to the DOT to get A's on the speeches. Her midterms and finals are very easy -- I aced them with only 3 hours of studying before the test! She makes giving speeches easy and entertaining. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Dr. Anson was very clear about what she expects from the speeches that must be given. Plus the text tells you exactly how to write up your speech. 4 speeches and 2 exams. The exams we took we all true/flase but she changes them every year but they are very easy answers are out of the text. I suggest u take her, its a fun class :D

Mrs. Anson is probably one of the best teachers you'll ever have! She's helpful, entertaining and nice! She often lets class out early, assigned speeches are always under 5 minutes and the class actually helps you become a better public speaker!

she was such an easy teacher to get along with! The test were not difficult at all. i strongly dislike speaking in front of people but she made it so much easier. i was able to read my speech off my paper and she didnt mark me down.

Anson is an easy A, just follow her formula. Do not deviate from her formula. Save your money and use her textbook that's available at the library.

If you're looking to take a speech 101 class, take anson. =) she is an easy A. just follow the formula in the book and you'll do just fine. everything you're tested on is based on the book. read and takes notes on the book if you want a good grade on the tests. i highly highly recommend to take anson. you won't regret it. =)

Dr. Anson is one of the best teachers. The speeches and tests are really easy because everything is explained really clear prior to it. I definitely recommend this Dr. Anson for speech class.

She's a VERY easy teacher, perhaps even too nice at times. She gave away over half the answers to the final as "givaways." You're all but guaranteed to get at least a B+ in her class.

I'm very shy, so I don't necessarily enjoy speaking in front of others. BUT professor Anson made it easier for me. She is a down to earth and hilarious! Expectations are clear, just stick to the formula with her outlines, and you will do well. I recommend her

Greatest professor ever. She is the best prof. i have taken a class with in college. She is extremely nice, and she is more than willing to help. On a slightly different note, she gorgeous for her age. She always makes sure she looks professional, and i found myself finding her extremely attractive. Can't wait for her speech 101 class this spring!

Awesome teacher!!!! I wish she taught other classes at Citrus. Make sure you buy the book, chapters are short and informative which makes the perfect study guide for the final. Speeches are under five mins. You can even pick when you want to present your speech. She even has giveaway answers for the tests! I definetly reccomend her class.

She was an awesome teacher! One of my favorite teachers. She allowed me to make copies for my speeches from another students book, since I couldn't buy it. She was super fair with our speeches. AND, I had such a blast in her class since it was 6 weeks, and I didn't want it to end. Lots of us dread speech, but it was such fun! Take her for sure!!!

This was a great class! We always got out an hour early and the assignments were super easy. Her formulas enabled me to write a five min speech in 20 mins! I used to take hours preparing a speech, and her formulas really helped. She is very clear with the assignments and the tests are easy. Make sure you get the textbook. Best class so far!

This class is the perfect summer classs! YOu only do 4 speeches a midterm and finak for the summer it's the easiest class and she always lets the class out early

Most fun I have had in any class. She is very animated and clear on how she wants her speeches. Just follow the formula and you will pass with an "A". She is positive, funny,open minded and a great teacher. She encourages creativity. Never a dull moment. Her tests are from her book (easy). You will have a good experience in her class.

This is a great class to take if you are looking for an "easier" class to take with your load. With each speech, she gives 3 days for the speakers, so that is 2 days you get to just go listen to other speeches! She does take role everyday, so don't skip class, but she makes public speaking doable and her textbook is easy reading.

Dr. Anson is wonderful. Her textbook is made JUST for this class, and it has tear-out pages that you use for your speeches. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives out "give-away questions" for the exams and if she sees a lot of people absent on a certain day, she'll give out more than one LOL. She keeps you awake and you will learn a lot!!

This teacher was really nice and easy! She explained everything clearly. Don't really have to attend class that often. The book is not really necessary but will be helpful when studying for test. overall, She Is Awesome!

She said she changed her teaching style and I could definitely tell. Took her for Fall and Spring for both speech classes. She made my classes work for our grades and I still didn't get an A in both. Don't take her! She is different now and she said she liked her new style =(

Recently took Anson because of the reviews on here. Alot of ppl say that she had to step up her game because she wasnt strict enough for the curriculum.

She gives away midterm and finals question and the midterm and final are true or false. She gives you the outline for the speeches and they are super easy to follow. I am not big on public speaking but this class is helpful with organazation of speeches and as long as you show up and give your speech you will get an A

Follow the formula,prepare for your speech&show up for the true/false midterm&final and you'll get an A. I recommend taking her if you're not big on giving speeches&if you're looking for an easy class to take.

Dr. Anson is one of the best professors i've ever taken at Citrus. She's constantly making jokes and holding the classes attention. The book is mandatory as well as attendance, show up and give your speeches and you'll pass. Also, one of her biggest pet peeves is when you speak without raising your hand.

Dr. Anson is a very good teacher and I suggest that you take her during winter/summer. The formula truly works but always follow every step of the formula or your grade will be deducted and don't over her time limit

I'm going to tell you right now if you cant take constructive criticism then you shouldn't take this class. Anson can be a little impersonal and strict but its only because she wants to make you a better speaker and she will. So glad this class is over, was so nervous about taking speech. Took it with her over summer and it was a breeze.

She is so easy! She gives you outlines for all the speeches. Just follow the outlines and you'll do fine. The only hard part is going in front of the class to speak. The only homework was to read the chapters she assigned and study for tests. She usually lets you out early on speech days but on lecture days you'll stay a little longer.

As a past student, I saw a professor who fully understood her role in the lives of her student. She doesn't just try and do the bare minimum like many seasoned, jaded professors, rather, she evidently puts a great deal of thought into how she can honestly help her students. Her teaching style is relatable, but above all, focused. I recommend her.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Dr. Anson is the teacher you MUST take if you want an easy A. Curriculum consists of 4 very short speeches and 2 easy T/F exams. Class is always short: 1/2 - 1 hour. She's a mostly lenient grader on the speeches and is clear-cut in her instructions, organized, and funny. Her textbook is short and the examples are helpful.

Textbook is required, it is cheap however and actually readable. Grades are made up of 4 speeches, midterm, and final exam. Incredibly understanding and respectful of your time. Lecture days can be long but there's not too many of those days so, otherwise, no complaints for her teaching. Great professor.
