He does not give out tons of homework and you can definitely get by without the textbook in his course. He includes personal stories to make his subjects more interesting and his passion is infectious. Would definitely take his classes again

Dr. Das was a great professor. He normally only teaches 108 every so often, and it's very lecture-heavy content, but he's incredibly passionate about ecology, particularly birds and fish, given his background. If you're lucky, he'll wear his dinosaur shirt to class. Definitely a class to put work into, but ask questions and show up and you'll pass.

Dr. Das is very passionate about evolution and the origin of species. He is very kind and always willing to help. Lots of memorization is required for this course, but tests are very fair

He's a very nice person and in the first month and a half he was very generous with the pace we were moving at, but by the end he ran out of time so we had to rush things and he even had to make an entire chapter an online lecture on a day we didn't have class. I really would not recommend him if you get stressed out easily.

A very enthusiastic professor who often told anecdotes. Some were nice examples of the material we were learning, but they may have led us to cram near the end of the term. I liked that he ensured the class was quiet as he taught, as I easily get distracted.
