absolutely awful prof. he is very hard to understand and if you plan on going for help, do not see him!

Absolutely horrible. Can not speak or understand english. Marks pretty easy though - when our class complained about our average he gave us an extra 6%. If you have any trouble in math, stay away from islam...

Do not take this prof's class if you can possibly avoid it.Following his instruction in lab gave me a lower mark than when I ignored him and worked on my own.He told one class that their average was low because they were art students not science students.

Worst teacher ever experienced in 3 years at this school. Take any other instructor over him if you can, I did, and I'm soooooo glad.

SO GLAD I DROPPED THIS COURSE He is not a good teacher gets mad when you ask him questions, doesn't speak english and apparently is on probation at the school! NOT COOL... Drop out if you have the chance!

This was by far the worst class I've had ever. This guy didn't speak a word of english, was absolutely no help and without the textbook I would have been dead. If you get this guy, switch out as soon as you possibly can.

Stay away from his class! He is not organized at all, and you can not understand a word he says. If you ask questions, he doesn't seem to understand what you are asking. I had an A- all year until I dropped to a B after the final.

Was very mean to the class, made unecessary hurtful remarks to his students. Was very unclear on course material and was hard to understand. Exams were unfair!

If you want easy marks but a frustrating class take it. but if you depend on a prof who can TEACH, turn and run

I can't believe he is still teaching. Terrible at getting material across and not helpful at all. Its bad when students just dont go because they get more confused. The college needs to address this problem. Drop the class if it with this prof.

most useless class ever. if you get him, definitely read the textbook and do the work by yourself. attempting to understand what the hell he was even trying to say gave me a major headache. hopefully you'll only have him for a lab and you can get by through students helping eachother, like we did

don't even try to listen to him. you will never understand anything he says. just read your textbook and leave when you're done your work. for shame.

RUN NOW!!!! This man can't speak english or write clear notes. the only reason I went to class was to make fun of him with my friend. Do everything by yourself. The only thing that saved me were his sample exams and cheat sheets. Simply write out the questions from the sample test on your sheet because a lot of the questions are the same.

Sinfully the most boring person you shall ever meet. Even 3 cups of coffee before class, this man would make sure that you loose interest and doze off.

WOW....what to say, cant understand a single word he says, just starts writing notes and talking to himself and not explaining a single thing. Seriously wanted to fall over and die.

I Can't understand a word he's saying, and He mumbles to himself all the time. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Eg. Students are correcting his example that he's showing during the lecture.

DON'T DO IT. If you have to take this class, then don't take it with him. If you already have him, GET OUT NOW. Trust me on this, unless you like having a prof you can't understand, and failing.

If you can afford to**** on and throw out 3 hours a week, take this class, if not DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

This teacher is a joke. Honestly. I have no idea how he got the job to be a professor. I tried asking for help, but he's just rude and makes comments about how I don't listen or pay attention in class. Extremely hard to understand. Class avg on the first midterm was mid 50's, while other stats classes were all above 65. This guy has got to go.

Leave while you still have the chance. This guy doesn't know how to speak english clearly. It's terrible. I don't know why they hire people who can't teach worth a darn.

i feel like everything i have to say has been said. But just for fun. DONT TAKE HIM!! He might know Stats (cant understand him at all to know) but I had him for a lab and he does NOT know computers. The only thing good about him is that he eventually after 3 hours of gibberish will give you the answers to the lab questions.

sorry but this lab was a joke... I did not get any help what so ever.. mostly spent the time talking to friends on msn and could finish the labs on my own still got an a.... if you can take someone else do it...

Do not take this class. This man does not speak english. I am really annoyed that he is allowed to teach in this institution. There should be standards. I withdrew despite an A- standing because I was so irritated by the whole fiasco that was statistics.

Can't understand him.After talking lots in the lab he eventually gives you the answers. Didn't learn very much. Very boring, hard to stay awake in his class and had to teach myself a lot of material. Communication was definately an issue.

It is literally impossible to understand this guy! do not take him!! i had to use the textbook just to get me through the class..I strongly recommend to take a differnet prof.

He is a terrible teacher. He is a very smart person and knows his stuff but some people just can't teach. You cant understand a word he says and he is no help if you ask a question. I stopped going to class and just started reading the text book.

Stats I found was a hrad course until you understood what was going on. Take advantage of math help sessions, that is what got me through this class.Islam is not that bad to understand but his tests are similiar to his practice exams on the internet.He will be one of the easier stats teachers, but you really need to be able to teach it to yourself

Awful terrible teacher. First exam was brutal, only one person finished. He was forced to make Mickey Mouse 2nd exam so people could pass the course. Very difficult to understand due to a language barrier. When we asked for extra help or clarification, he said it wasn't his fault the class was stupid. Run students run!!!

I would NOT recommend. He was the worst teacher that i've ever had, however, despite the fact that he cannot teach at all, you can tell he knows a lot about the material. Just can't translate so that students will understand. Class was pointless, lab definitely boosted mark, don't bother taking notes; they won't help.

Absolutely worthless excuse for a teacher. Can't teach, can't speak english. I'm honestly shocked this man has been allowed to teach for so long. He may know the material but he has absolutely no idea how to teach it. Just writes equations on the baord while the class sits there looking around in confusion.

This prof is horrible. I strongly suggest 100% to avoid him. I absolutely love math but this was the worst teacher I've come across. Can't understand him, makes too many mistakes, final exam was too difficult. if you want to teach yourself stats, then go for him. Otherwise, avoid him at all costs. you'll constantly feel like you're going to fail.

HORRIBLE! this class yanked my GPA down big time. my worst class. i was in class the whole semester and never missed a day. but no matter how much i try to focus and comprehend what he was trying to teach, i could not. he barely speaks english, on top of that he talks soo fast.not helpful.not clear.AVOID HIM! the whole sem was a complete NIGHTMARE!

brutal, drop the class

horrible. I had an A throughout the semester but went down to C+ because of his impossible final exam. It was so different from the assignments that I was completely stuck. On top of it, he comes to me and says "only on question 4??" (and it was only 20 mins into the exam)... way to make me feel good. trust me, do not go with him.

He loves his job. but thats it. its too difficult to understand him as his accents heavy he talks quietly and mumbles. not good. his notes are a jumbled mess. i feel bad rating low but its the truth

It hurts to write this because he's a pretty nice guy, but his class is terrible. I stopped going entirely because he speaks too quietly and with too heavy of an accent to even come close to understanding. If you take this class, be prepared to teach the entirety of it to yourself.

He jumps around all over the place and seems like he even confuses HIMSELF as he pauses multiple times and reevaluates what he just said ... i eventually just stopped going to lecture because it was SUCH a waste of time and taught myself which got hard towards the end of the course ... UGH

A clear example of someone who knows what he's doing, but not how to teach it, he doesn't explain things very clearly. I found him really hard to learn from and to understand: he has a very thick accent and speaks very quietly. If you're talented at math you'll be able to keep up, but if you struggle with math at all your grades will plummet.

HE IS THE WORST INSTRUCTOR EVER TO EXIST. He stands at the front of a class of 70 people mumbling into the whiteboard in a different language about god knows what, I dont even think he was talking about stats half the time because he was basically illiterate. Horrible, horrible, horrible, had to drop the class.

Just an awful class. I had to drop it because I couldn't understand what he was mumbling half the time or read his writing on the board. Homework was easy and the lab is really easy. Please change classes if you are stuck with this teacher seriously!

He is definitely the worst prof EVER! He is very mean to students. He also has super strong accent, he basically mumbles most of the class time, his writings are illegible. It took me 3months to understand what his standard deviation sign looks like. He also blames students when they fail the mid term:"you don't attend my class regularly"

He is actually the worst teacher I have ever had. He mumbles all the time, his writing is messy and he jumps all over the place, using random numbers in equations which leaves everyone confused. He makes no sense and he makes me frustrated and hate statistics.

***DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HIS CLASS*** Very difficult to understand, notes are messy and don't make sense, course direction is all over the place. He always teaches over his time limit, he would ask a student in the front row how much time he had left in each class near the end.

Avoid him if you can. He has a very strong accent and mumbles a lot. Don't expect to hear him if you are not sitting at the front. Unhelpful because even you went to him for help, you will not understand anything he said. He kicked people out of his classes because they didn't get a good grade on mid terms to maintain high class average.

He's very boring and unhelpful, but if you do the practice exams his exams are exactly that!
