She has an heavy accent, but she makes things crystal clear on the white boards... Give her 3 weeks, she could teach a 6 year old deriviates... Best Teacher I Ever Had. If there was a 6 for Helpfulness, she'd get that.

At first you think, oh gosh, a professor who can barely speak english clearly. give her a week, your past the accent and you UNDERSTAND what the heck she's talking about. Great professor!

She got some accent for English, that's true...Many people were complainting about her ENglish..However, the clearly explained notes on the board will help you to learn better.

well, she can't really hear and she has an accent, but I got the best mark in her class of my university degree. I think she is the best prof for 206.

I took her Msc205 and 206, I have to say it's hard to understand her english sometimes but I can get all the important infos in her notes and I got A for both courses. Try to copy down all the notes then do the revivew U can get A also.

Awesome prof., easy to understand if you attend class and pay close attention...accent is very hard to understand but she clearly defines everything on the board...if you miss one word she says you will be lost though...:S..other than that she's awesome!

Quite easy course if you try. Her accent might be hard to understand. There are weekly assignments and help tutorials you can go to for extra help.

Hard to understand, but once you get used to it she is a very good prof. genuinely cares about helping students and really clarifies things. i recomend her

Great professor, I didn't appreciate her until I took MSC206 with John Barger. She was always helpful despite her accent. After about 1 month her accent becames clearer.

I love this woman! When she teaches, she acts like she is teaching a bunch of idiots, and teaches everything right down to the last, unnecessary detail, therefore making sure EVERYONE understands EVERYTHING. After two weeks, you won't notice her accent at all.

Shes great! May not be very clear but you get used to her accent. She teaches everything very thoroughly, like shes teaching a bunch of idiots. She actually makes it make sence, when you get notes from other classes .. they seem so much more difficult then hers. All in All.. if you get a chance to take her, take it, her classes go the quickest

She had a strong accent which was hard to understand, but her notes are clearer. Wants to make sure everyone knows everything and fo everyone to do well.

at the start of the class, there will always be a review of what you've done so far. she's very accomodating, will answer any question you have. the subject matter itself couldn't be any easier but if you pay attention and take her class, things will get a little better. if you have a chance, take her class.

A very nice lady who is very committed to teaching. She has trouble with her hearing sometimes but she makes up for this with her good examples. Probably the best teacher that you could get for this course. (Don't waste money on a textbook because you don't need it).

Dr. Wang is a very helpful professor. She reviews everything many times an is always available for office hours. If you are taking MGSC 1205 or 1206 take either Dr. Wang or Dr. Mishra. You won't regret it and if you put some effort in and understand the assignments (without copying), an A will be all yours. A very dedicated professor who cares.

Muhong is a great prof. she is eager to help and loves to each. She provides excellent examples in class and great mid term and final reviews. Taker her class above all others!

Dr. Wang is an excellent teacher. She is hard of hearing so you need to speak up. She explains all concepts several times andunsures you understand before moving on. If she thinks people don't get it she will keep trying. Take her for MGSC 1205 and 1206, you will do well if you pay attention and do the assignments yourself.

She is probably one of the best professors at Saint Mary's, especially when it comes to quantitative methods, if you want to get good grades and understand what you are doing take her class. Plus she made business calculus and derivatives seem like a piece of cake.

In high school math I was an embarassment. Failed the provincial exam. I got an A+ in Muhong's Quantitative Methods II class. She is not at all easy, but if you are in class and do the work, you will do excellent. She is always there for office hours. Take her if there are any openings. You will not regret it. She is wonderful.

She is the best! Muhong is always so helpful before and after class..and is very accessible during office hours. I was happy because she even remembered my name :-). She is my fav prof at SMU and I can't wait to have her again next school year :D

Best Professor I had all semester. I was nervous the first day because of her accent but I got used to it and plus she writes really good and gives the best notes and gives every example you need to do your assignments. Your exam is based on the assignments throughout the course and the teacher is very helpful whenever you need her help. Recommende

She is a wonderful teacher, extremely helpful and gives a lot of clear examples in class. She answers any questions though you have, though she may not hear them well since her hearing is a little shot.

Very good teacher. Old school teaching style. Gives handouts for every new topic, which greatly eases note taking. Would recommend for anyone.

Best teacher I've had at SMU so far. She actually teaches you instead of reading from the text or powerpoints. You just need to get used to her accent.

Best prof I've ever had, hands down I would take any course she taught again. Didn't see it coming at all, with her accent and two hearing aids, thought it would be a nightmare.

Excellent professor. Her accent isn't bad at all, and she writes everything on the board anyway. She goes everything you need to know to do well on the assignments and exams. The only thing is she has difficulty hearing (and therefore answering) questions in class. That said, she's very helpful during her office hours. Textbook not needed.

EXCELLENT professor!!!! SO helpful. she does have a thick accent, but great at answering questions at office hours... attend class and do all your assignments and you should do fine.

To begin, this class is not as hard as some people make it seem, nor is this prof so bad. Her accent is quite thick, however, she writes everything on the board and after a little while you barely even notice her accent. It is much better than some of the other profs I had. The class is pretty much building on grade 10 normal distribution.

Probably the best prof for quant, she's very good at explaining and giving examples in class. Don't miss class and copy everything from the board and you'll have stuff to look back at while doing her assignments. She is very very organized, I would recommend highly. Did not need to text book.

It can take some time to get used to her accent but once you do its really not that bad. You gotta pay attention in class or else you will get confused as most ppl would with a prof who has an accent or not. She's always willing to help during after and outside of class. Got my first A+ with her! She means well

Her accent was hard to understand on the first day but by the second i got used to it and could understand her. She's a very good prof and makes sure you understand the material and if you don't, she will help you during office hours. Need to go to class because if you miss one class, you miss a lot of information.

Dr. Wang is a wonderful prof! She provides great examples and works hard to ensure that her students understand what she's teaching before she moves on to the next topic. If you attend all of the classes, take notes, do the assignments and bonus in-class exercises, you can pass with an A+.

Attend class and you will have no problem with the class. She basically does the assignment questions in class with you. Very sweet lady.

Good professor, and you will pass if you show up for the lectures and do all of the assignments. Mid-term and final are very similar to assignments.

Such a good professor! She cares about all of her students and is really accessible outside of class if you need help. Midterm/final are very similar to the assignments and in class examples, so go over them! If you show up to class, do the assignments and practice, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good grade!

Amazing! Muhong is an incredible instructor. I struggled with the calculus at the beginning of this class but she will always help you if you do the work and just ask. She is super approachable. All tests are based off of the assignments and she gives you all of the information you need to do well. I wish I could take her for more classes.

Professor Wang is great! I struggled terribly in Quant 1, so much so that I had to hire a full-time tutor just to pass. I was so stressed going into Quant 2, but took it with Wang and it made a WORLD of difference. She gives endless examples/explanations, so go to class and you'll do fine! Exams are directly based off of assignments!

I struggled a bit through out this class because she does go through it fairly quickly. However, she is super approachable during office hours and will help you until you fully understand it. Her midterm and final are based fully off of the assignments so if you know how to do those you'll do great.

Amazing prof!! Her accent is hilarious and one of the goofiest profs I've ever had. Go to class and write down practice questions and you will do great. Had a 70 in highschool calculus and had 100 on my midterm. Assignments were harder then tests and she will always help you with all the questions after class.

Muhong Wang is the best teacher i have ever had. She can be hard to understand at some moments of the class, just make sure you go to class and pay attention. She is very humorous in a special kind of way, accent can be thick but just pay attention(Be ready for the Marshal's question). Assignments can be difficult but she reviews similar question.

Muhong is an excellent prof. Straight to the point, tons of in class examples, and assignment questions are identical to the exams. She's pretty funny as well. Class isn't too hard just have to make sure you understand how to get the numbers. All notes are in class though so have to attend

I found the profs lectures kept my attention. She is hard to understand but for a math prof she is very neat and easy to follow. Recommend going to every class.

I really enjoyed her class. She breaks things down into really simple steps and goes over it multiple times. She encourages students to ask questions and get tutoring. I made a mistake and lost 6 points on an assignment, spoke to her and she gave me 4 points back. You have to work hard but she's very happy to help you.
