Homework assigned on webassign. Pretty lenient with homework due dates because of the web assign. Easy grading on test. Sharma was very sweet, and very helpful if you were confused at all.

I didnt take her full course but she is very fast and it is so hard to catch up with her fast pace. one second she is writing the notes on the board and you try to copy down the notes and when you look up within literally a second she would be halfway done or erasing the FINISHED problem and moving on to the next note/problem/example.

She is great. Best math teacher I have had so far. You can tell she really cares for her students and do everything to support them. I would definitely take her again!

I'm only ten weeks in her class and I love her, shes an amazing math teacher. Shes great if you have not taken math for a long time or have been bad at it before. Don't get intimidated the first day, because the next day you'll feel really comfortable with her teaching style and how much help she offers.

Personally I loved her. I was concerned about people saying her accent was thick and hard to understand but that's not the case. She is extremely easy to understand and WANTS you to pass. She makes herself very available and double checks that we understand before moving forward. I'd definitely take her class is I needed another math class!

Professor Sharma was a great instructor for Math-52, much better than the instructor I took over summer. She cares about her students, and is willing to help however needed in understanding the material. Does not assign to much homework and drops your lowest exam score. I worried signing up for her that she would have an accent, she does not.

I've taken a few math52 classes and she was the easiest. The math is the same every class I took, but her lectures really cover it to where it's easy to understand. The hw was in mymathlab and she dropped our 2 lowest hw and lowest test. Would recommend to everyone.

Grading can be tough, it must meet exactly what she was expecting, even when grading homework. But she offers partial credit on test problems. Lecture is very thorough and well paced, she offers helpful in class assignments and is always willing to help. Make sure to show your work on even simple problems. Tests are straight forward no curve balls

I would take Sharma for every math class if I could. She cares very much for your understanding of the material and is comeoltely fair with all of her tests. She will not throw curveballs at you on test questions, all of the test questions come straight from lecture or homework so as long as you stay up on that, you will receive a good grade.

Prof. Sharma explains well but her class is a lot of work. She encourages tutoring. If you attend each class, ask questions and use tutoring, you will pass. By no means it was an easy class but if you keep up with the work, you can pass with a decent grade. Tests are comprehensive but similar to homework problems . I would take her again!

She was Awesome! Prof. Sharma does give a lot of homework, but as long as you do it you will most likely pass the class. She offers some extra credit opportunities and is not a tough grader on tests as long as you show enough work that you understand the concept/idea. She's such a sweetheart. dumbs-down lectures to make it easier to understand but she goes pretty fast. All her homework is on the syllabus so there won't be any surprises. You have 3 tests (3-4chapters per test, no multiple choice, and she provides the formulas) and a cumulative final. She collects the hw on test days. Extra credit for tutoring.

If this was the first time I took 52, I would have been completely lost because it felt like she went a little fast(could be because its spring) but she gives great lectures and offers some extra credit. Prof. Sharma made me work really hard and I am glad that I took her. I have gained a lot of knowledge from her as her lectures are crystal clear. I do recommend using tutoring otherwise it gets overwhelming, only thing I didnt like about the class was my math lab.

Let me just say that Prof Sharma got me through college math. I took her class for 2 semesters Math110A & Math52. I've always had high math anxiety but her style of teaching definitely worked for me. She's very clear and thorough. She also cares about her students and will help you succeed. Tip for success: Go to tutoring! It helps tremendously.

Really great professor! She makes you work for it but if your willing to do your work you will do fine. Her lectures are really great besides going a little fast sometimes but the homework definitely helps if you got lost in class. Professor Sharma is a really good professsor. I took her over the summer. Still in high school. I found that she teaches like most high school teachers. If you do the homework you can easily pass the class with an A or B.

I took Prof. Sharma for summer Calculus 2 course. I was nervous at first but felt good after first week. Her lectures were clear and she was there for anyone who was struggling. There was a lot of homework, I think that practice helped me grasp the concepts better. Take her! She really cares for her students.

Professor Sharma helped me pass all math classes that I never would have otherwise! truly cares about students as a whole makes sure they are well with their life outside of school so they can do well in class. she even makes accommodations as necessary to help students pass whether it's having kids, sick family or poor health. HIGHLY recommend!

Ive taken her math 52 class and stats 1. Passed both with an A, after barely passing math 101 (diff prof). She really cares about her students success and is there for any questions or clarification you may have. Use the time she gives you to ask questions if you have them, because she genuinely wants you to pass. Best professor Ive had.

I hated math and was really terrible. I have had her as a professor for a few classes now and she is easy to understand and has true dedication to her students. She wants you to succeed. I haven't had another teacher as hands on with her students. I can actually do statistics and calculus now. Do your homework before the deadline!

No text book required. She has textbook reading but its free, videos that help with the problems. Calculus is hard but if you put in effort then you can do well. She responds quickly. I would recommend taking her class.

Professor Sharma is a great professor. She is very helpful when Calc II gets difficult. Her recorded lectures are long but they do help you though she talks really fast. She grades quickly and you get multiple attempts on homework and quizzes which helps you learn the material better.

I am glad I got an opportunity to take this class in person with Professor Sharma. Calculus is not easy by any means but her lectures were clear and to the point. She was available before/after class to help answer questions. Amount of homework was not excessive. two exams. use tutoring. Do not miss class. :)

Professor Sharma is amazing! This would be my second time taking a STATS1 class and she was very helpful throughout the semester. She basically has the same assignments due every Saturday with the exception of labs/quizzes. They're all pretty standard. Homework is worth a lot more than the exams or quizzes so make sure you do good in those.

Took her online Stats class & passed with an A. I never read the book portions she posted & did just fine in the class. Some of the lectures were a bit crammed with info but as long as you take notes and listen, you'll do fine! She replies very fast to questions and concerns. 3 exams total. Statcrunch helps soo much! Very nice prof, I recommend!

If you're in-between choosing for an intro stats course I totally recommend! This was my first semester in college and coming from someone who was not good at math in high school, I don't feel that it mattered in this class. This math isn't complicated in my opinion. As long as you stay on pace with the course I wouldn't stress.

Professor Sharma is a very sweet woman. I don't thinks she is that great at teaching Statistics though. There was several times during class that she could have made it simpler to understand but didn't. English not being her first language also made it a bit more difficult. She wants to help though, and she will help however she can.

Calc 2 was the hardest class I have ever taken. 6 weeks summer session made it even more challenging. I really enjoyed and learned so much during the 6 weeks. Prof. Sharma always kept the class engaged and broke down concepts in a way easy to understand. She was happy to stop and explain in the middle if anyone had questions. I highly recommend!

Professor Sharma was an amazing professor. She didn't assign too much work only about 1 assignment a week. Maybe 2. Each assignment only takes 30 minutes to an hour.She always gave study guides for the 3 exams and she made them very doable. She is also accessible outside of class. Overall if you try your best you will succeed.

I took this class online. It wasn't an easy A, but it was a doable B—you definitely have to put in the work and actually study. There's a lot of homework, but it's open book, and she allows you to use tools like StatCrunch and your calculator during exams. Stats is tough, but the professor was incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way.

If I could take Professor Sharma every semester, I would! I had been out of school for 13 years and decided to go back and took her stats class! She cares so much about her students. With that being said, stats is not a cake walk if you miss days you will be lost. Do the homework right after class and you will pass this class. Amazing professor!

She is super understanding and caring. You can get 10 pts extra credit by going to tutoring. Stats is not easy, but her class made it so much easier than I could have imagined. Occasional discussion, 2 hw assignments, occasional lab (which is like 4 questions), 3 exams, occasional notes submission. Take her if you need stats!
