Be ready to be dazed and confused.. she skips class alot.. easy assignments but totally confusing and you have no idea how she grades.

She makes an easy class WAY too hard. take anybody else but her, or you'll wind up doing a whole lot of busy work, to find out at the end of the semester that you've failed.

Horriable teacher. Busy work. Seemed very confused. Not sure what to teach. She would gave a sylibus that said one thing, tell us something else, then change everything the day the paper was due. Not recommended to anyone who likes life.

Awful teacher! I took the online class and her assignments are very hard to understand! I am not sure how she is in class, but DO NOT take the online! I have never had problems in English, but dropped this class because I was receiving a bad grade. AVOID!

AVOID THIS CLASS! Terrible Teacher. Its possible she's a very nice lady & maybe her in-person classes are ok, I dont know because I have her online. ok she is the worst professor i have ever had. I am a nurse so obviously i am not dumb.... she just gave me a zero on a paper!!!!! a zero!!! i did everything that she asked for this paper followed her rubric and i still got a zero!!! i cant believe it. i am an A student and I can save peoples lives, but i cant pass her english class!!!!!!

For a 100 level course, this professor requires much more than necessary. I have always been a great english student (I took two AP courses in High School and have won several writing awards), but this english class was beyond difficult. The professor explains things horribly, often bringing in examples that aren't relevant. Avoid this professor!!!

She teaches at a much higher level than expected for a 100 level class and the work load is ridiculous.

She is the type of professor that assigns a serious workload. It is tough to keep track of all of the assignments because there are so many of them. She does not explain things at all. Even if you ask great questions, you will leave the classroom feeling lost every time. This is a definite. TOUGH GRADE, even if she likes your writing she doesn't

Beyond tough teacher here. I do not recommend anyone take her classes. Even the best of the best writers and English people want to steer clear of this professor.

If you are going to take an English class, steer clear of the professor! This class was extremely difficult to navigate. I felt like to find any information needed, you'd have to search through 5 links before getting what you needed. Tough grader and a ton of work that was way too much, in my opinion, for a 100 class. 100% do recommend this prof

Stay away from this professor! I worked my butt off and she doesn't care. If you do one thing wrong she will give you 0 points. I also tried emailing her for questions 4 times and no response for help. Hello this is a ONLINE class! ugh.

My very first class was a disappointment! She is a very disorganized and confusing professor. She gave a couple of assignments for us to get started on the first day of class and I was completely lost and was not the only neither. The syllabus was unclear and confusing to read. Before second class begin I swapped professor.

Professor Muhammad is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is confusing in every way, doesn't respond to any emails you send her, and is an extremely tough grader. I would go to her office hours for questions and every time she would talk about something completely irrelevant and leaving me feeling lost. Please do not take this teacher.

Avoid this teacher if you can! Confusing, no clear directions unless asked for, so much work! Expect 2-3 hours a night if you want to pass, even then don't plan on a good grade. She also likes to get snippy if people call her out on their confusion, still do it anyway or you don't have a prayer!!

With out a doubt the worst teacher i have ever had. She has the audacity to tell the student to invest 10-12 hours of free time into preparing to write when she can't even update her blackboard to this semester's material. Everything on blackboard is cluttered and confusing. She is a very tough grader for how lazy she is. Do not take this class!

Terrible black board lay out. Her assignments and information was like throw up. Just all over the place Assignments are very vague. Worst online professor yet. Asked for clarification and she recommended googling it. Instant drop.

VERY CONFUSING! for an online class, she doesnt do a good job at managing blackboard or making sure you know what you are doing. It takes her DAYS to respond to ANY post made by anybody. She talks about having 9 hours a week for this class. 2nd week she expects us to read 400 pages and write paragraphs describing everything we read in 3 days.

Horrible Blackboard layout. That was my very first impression upon beginning her online class. I thought I would be able to work though it but that is not the case. There are assignments that are hidden and you will never know they are due until it is too late. She does not respond to emails and assigns way too much per week.

Literally the most confusing class I have EVER taken. Her Blackboard layout is awful, she barely spells anything right, she is very condescending, and she doesn't understand that people have more classes (or work!) outside of her class. I would definitely recommend taking ANY OTHER class than this one with her.

This class is stressful. She is not clear about anything. When you ask questions she complains and writes annoying responses on blackboard.

She is so confusing. It appalls me that her "teaching style" is even allowed. She assigns an unbelievable amount of busy-work that will keep you wondering: "Did I miss an assignment?" every minute of the semester. She also cannot spell.

1. Her blackboard sight is equivalent to trying to diffuse a bomb when you are not trained properly - scary, confusing, and impossible to navigate 2. I took this class as a dual enrolled student I feel like I haven't learned as much as I should. You don't get feed on assignments soon enough to help you on a paper so if you don't understand something you will continue to not understand it. I ended up having to have my sister teach me. Could never understand what she wanted. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!

Currently taking English 101 w/ Professor Muhammed alongside two intermediate Computer Science courses. I spend drastically, drastically more time on her course than any others - and 75% of the time sink is spent trying to navigate her organization - which is very confusing. She's nice, and seems to know her subject, but terribly organized.

I took her for an online 101 class. Her layout for assignments is extremely confusing - you never know if you're missing something. If you ask a question she will direct you to her "overview" video of the assignment where she only READS what's written instead of explaining it. Posts feedback super late which doesn't help on future assignments.

This professor is by far the worst teacher i have had. She does not grade things until it is way to late to be relevant. I spent over half the semester not knowing what my grade was. She is unorganized and her blackboard is a mess. Many spelling and punctuation errors make knowing what to do very hard. Stay far away from this teacher!!

The way her schedule is layed out for the semester is 100% confusing. You have 3 to 4 assignments every night it seems like. She puts out a lot information all at once making it very confusing to follow. I have written some of my best essays in that class and still only received at most a C+ on them. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I cannot put into words how chaotic, frustrating, exhausting, maddening and lonely the experience of this class with Prof. Muhammad is. There are not enough characters available in this review. Issues were: Unhelpful Grading Times, Hidden Assignments, Unanswered Emails, Short Unhelpful Responses to Questions, Contradictory Assignment Information.

I took her class online as a dual enrolled student. I emailed her letting her know my situation and she was angry that I was taking her class? Every time I asked a question I would get a snarky, unhelpful response. I am normally a straight A student and I was failing this class so bad that myself and another student dropped and GRCC paid for it.

worst prof I have ever had. Instructions are not clear. Assignments don't become available until 2 days before due, which I don't see working for any student that has other classes. (especially in my case of being a full time student, mom, and worker). Assignments are lengthy and she is very unforgiving with her grading. Communication was terrible

I took online class and she makes attendance mandatory but then spends most of the 3-hour lecture explaining the same thing and even then no one understood it and was very rude to people that asked questions. She also treated the class like it was our only responsibility giving unbelievable amounts of homework each week that she also grades harsh.

The homework load for creative writing is absolutely unrealistic. Professor acts like her class is our only responsibility in life. Expectations are not clear. Grades are not in until the end of the semester, so you end up doing 5+ assignments a week while not even knowing your grade.

Lots of pointless busy work to be completed outside of virtual class time, and in her lectures she rambled for the majority of it. On multiple occasions the class was really confused and she was rude and snarky when we tried to ask her questions. Also grades hard. on our first project it appeared the avg. grade from my classmates was 68-70%.

One of the worst english professors ive ever had. Very harsh grader and not very helpful. My mother is an english professor and reviewed every essay I wrote and I still received Cs on many of them. Assignments are confusing and workload is inconsistent. Do not take this course online.

First off she changed the syllabus during the first week of class, not just some requirements but the books. The books I already purchased and opened., therefore could not return. Secondly she randomly changes due dates. Thirdly shes very very disorganized. I can say she is very enthusiastic.

Expectations and instructions are grossly unclear. Grading is harsh despite not being clear on grading criteria. J had more homework than in two of my other classes combined. Grades were put in at the end of the semester, giving no time for any really feedback. The most frustrating class Ive ever taken.

Class is only 3 credits and is a 100 level course, but has more homework than any 300 level class I've taken towards my actual major, and more than any 4 credit combo class with lab I've taken. The class is set up poorly and has fodder material that doesn't actually help you in the end. If you have to take an English class, don't take this one.

She acts like its your only class. Givens you a bunch of mini assignments on top of everything else. Doesnt explain assignments well. Expects you to read over something once and completely understand. Definitely not a first year class.

Out of my entire academic career, this is hands down the most frustrating professor I have ever had to deal with. The workload is ungodly with loads of busywork and she grades as if you wronged her in the past. The expectations are confusing and if I could give one word of advice, never take a course with this professor in your life.

This was my first college English class and it made me want to quit school altogether. The amount of work this class required was completely unrealistic. The prof wouldn't accept my accommodations or work with me at all. She was rude and snarky anytime I asked questions or went in for help. Never answered anyone's questions, unorganized, awful!

This course required more work than my two other courses combined. The work is graded so late that I didn't really have time to fix my mistakes on my next assignments. I hope and pray that I pass this course. The amount of work required per week is ridiculous. This should NOT be a students full time job to keep up with this class!!! It is Eng 101!

Prof Muhammed and the creative writing class I took with her was without a doubt the worst college class I've ever taken. The amount of pointless papers & assignments she has you do is ridiculous, and you don't see most of your grades until the last possible moment. I have never had a college course stress me out more, & she gives wrong info a lot.

It is week 10 and I'm sick of giving her excuses as to why we have so much work every week. Makes you do way TOO much hw and it's all expected to be done a full week prior to it being assigned. She doesn't include an accurate schedule and expects hw to be done during holiday breaks and weekends. Ridiculus with the amount of work assigned.

Lots of homework, also assigned 2 4-6 page essays in the last 2 weeks of class. Took a month and a half for grades on the first essay, so couldn't see what was wrong with the first essay to fix things for the next one. Very inflexible due dates for an online class, also doesn't seem to know how to use Blackboard very well.

Worst Professor I've ever had. She is very unorganized. Don't bother asking her for help she will only reiterate the mess that she posted on blackboard that didn't make sense to begin with. I spent more time trying to figure out what was expected of me than actually doing the assignments. Amount of work she assigns leaves no room for anything else

There is so much pointless filler work. She takes forever to grade your work, does not answer promptly when questions are asked. The filler work is basically writing the same things over and over on different assignments and in BB. I spend usually around 3+ hours per night on work she has assigned. She is not clear on directions. Avoid her class!!!

This is also the most unorganized class I have ever had. It is so difficult to figure out what certain assignments are asking of me and it is hard to even find these said assignments. Do not take this professor if you have a choice.

So much work and no actual help with the assignments. Lots of repetitive work, you will write the same things multiple times in multiple spots on BB and in papers. Her videos don't help either and her directions are never clear. Stear clear unless you like to read and have 15+ hours a week to dedicate to her class.

This class is a lot of work with little helpful feedback. The professor's instructions are unclear, and the grading is slow. However, using tools like unstuck ai for study prep can help navigate the workload.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is not helpful in any way and is super passive-aggressive when answering questions. There were multiple times I would have to turn in something late because she wouldn't answer my question about an assignment until the very last second. Everything is unorganized, and her assignments don't make sense.

The way she structured her online class was very confusing and I felt like I was teaching myself from articles she assigned, only to find out I didn't understand everything like she thought I should resulting in unexpected bad grades.

The most unorganized professor I've had, she is all over the place with random stuff and expects everyone to know what is going on.There is sooooo much unnecessary homework in the class, and she takes forever to grade. Would never take a class with her again.

Horrible. Lots, LOTS of homework that is graded critically. She expects you to work constantly on your writing and assignments, which she does not explain thoroughly. Some of the assignments you have to figure out yourself as what is expected, even what the assignment even is. I would not recommend to my deepest enemy.

Just awful. I'd give her 0/5 if I could. Syllabus claims we get work graded in 3-5 days, what a joke! 2 weeks if you're lucky. Doesn't accept late work with the exception of a one-time use pass you need to use BEFORE the due date. Little to no feedback, not great with using Blackboard, and good luck getting an email back.

Oh my goodness I had to drop this class. I love English and I love writing, and I was excited about this class but the work load is just too much for anyone who is taking any more than just her class. She is a fine person and she's very funny, just a little unorganized and very hard to keep up with the class.

The syllabus was jam packed from the start, clicking into each assignment often revealed that not only was there a bevy assignments but they often contained further assignments in the hyperlink to the top level assignment. Decided I like my sanity and could take a Withdrawal for the first time in my student career.

Class is set up terribly. You have to go through several links to find all of the instructions for assignments. Very hard to get feedback and responses from her that are truly helpful. There's never anything you can do, just things you should've done before. Reached out several times about my grade, no response about my extenuating circumstances.
