A great professor. Should take the class if you hate math. A lot of homework but it helps for final test. It's definitely not an easy class but with an enthousiastic professor it's easy to swallow!

While his academic background is impressive and he math knowledge a plenty I felt lost in his class all semester. He went way too fast for someone who doesn't get math as easy as others. I still managed to get an A but I had to work extra hard for it.

I have had Professor Benaoui for both MAT 094 and 192, and he has been helpful throughout all the material. He helps you understand the material and is always willing to help his students. In terms of material content he has a wide solid range of knowledge on the material.

Benaoui is the best math professor. I had him 4 years as my math teacher in high school and now in college. Benaoui has different method of explaining his class work so students can understand it. He is a very good teacher. Everything he explains is crystal clear and his class are joyful.

I wish I took this class before my STEM classes. In past math classes, I was always stressed & full of anxiety, never really retaining the info. Not the case here. Two thumbs up!

Math 194 has some challenging materials, however, professor benaoui made it easy to understand. His grading policy is the best. In my opinion, his teaching method is awesome. I was looking forward to take him for 197, unfortunately he won't be teaching it. I would recommend him if you are lucky to get a seat in his class.

Professor Benaoui is helpful because he wants students to pass his course. Professor Benaoui told me that he changed the final exam because almost all students didn't pass the previews one. I was the kind of student that did work on time but he gave all other students several weeks to complete online homework assignments.

Professor Benaoui is one of the coolest math instructors I have met. A very relaxed person who likes his football (soccer). As long as you attend sessions, show respect, pay attention, do your home assignments, practice his practice exams, then you will come out successfully in his course. I would definitely sign up for his class again! It was fun!

Bottom line, if he is teaching a class you need for credit, sign up for him! Assigns homework every week but realistic and its not too much. Spends time making sure you understand the material. Really funny too! Show up, do the homework and use his guides for testing and you will get an A or B in this class. Wish they would hire more like him.

I took Dr. Benaoui's MAT 194 class Spring 17 and had an overall great experience! He's very passionate about the subject and his students. He does go through the material pretty fast so you either have to know it or be a self learner. The mid term and final are straight forward. If you do the work and go to class you'll be fine!!

This was the best professor I have ever had. I struggle with math but he found a way to get it across to me. He responds to emails/texts very quickly. Gives a clear syllabus that he follows. Allows one piece of paper with notes on it for in class midterm and final. No quizes or tests. Just homework weekly, midterm and final. He's awesome!

I took Professor Benaoui's MAT194 class this past Spring at BHCC. As someone who has forever hated math (and hasn't stepped foot in a classroom in 10+ years), I found his teaching style welcoming and sincerely helpful with wanting students to learn the material. Lots of hw, but this was the best way to learn! Wish he was teaching more courses.

One of the nicest math professors I've worked with! He takes his time going through problems, showing exactly HOW he got an answer. He explains everything in detail and his lessons are easy to follow. The lectures were fun with his lighthearted jokes! We're able to bring specific problems from the homework to work on in class if they're difficult.
