Manati actually showed real life situations rather than just reading from the book. She acted like the client for one project and had us perform a mock meeting. This is a lot better than just reading from powerpoint.

I never showed up but she allowed me to do all my work from home and online . Every assignment I could retry multiple times till I got an A+. Every single person got an A+. Easiest class ever . Best teacher ever , shes almost like a pushover teacher , but low key shes just insanely ely nice

I took java class from her and i learned lot of stuff. Classes are interactive and helpful. In whole semester she gave just 2-3 project that s it no homework and stuff. I suggest everyone who want to get easy A and understand the class.

Reading the zybooks online textbook and doing the labs really helped me learn a lot and pass the tests.

By no means is it an "Easy A". Professor Manati is smart and just makes sure she provides every piece of help and opportunity she can to her students so they get the "easy A" feeling. I truly enjoyed coming to her classes and having her be my professor for 2 of my classes. If I could take her for every class until graduation I would. Sadly I can't.

Computer class, kinda boring, but prof Manati is a sweet caring lady, very knowledgable enjoyed her class just have to work on the projects, only need the code for Cengage not for the actual textbook.

she is super nice, i was scared the first day when she was explaining what we were gonna be doing throughout the semester but she made it so easy and helped us along the way explaining each step and answering our questions, very happy with this class!!

She's very easygoing and the class is easy enough if you have basic computer skills. The program you use can be tricky but she will help you through it just save yourself the time and just ASK.

Although, I selected attendance mandatory, If you have to skip class for any reason just let her know, and she will be able help you out. Once you get to know her, you will see that she is funny and care about her students.

She gives almost no homework with the exception of 2 or maybe three projects and gives more than enough time to complete them. If you need help she is always there to help and gives you plenty of resources to utilize to get your assignments done.

Great Professor

I feel that no matter the class, it's the professor's teaching and personality that makes or breaks the understand-ability of the subject they're teaching. She made this class a lot easier to understand and more enjoyable with a joke every now and then that I'd chuckle at too haha. Definitely a great teacher to take!

Professor Manati is a great professor and is always willing to help any student understand the material. Students should read over material for the class and be present in class in order to understand the material. She does not assign any quizzes or tests and is light when assigning homework. She is available after class for any questions.

Overall this is a great class to begin your journey into computer science. She gives plenty of time for the first project to make sure that everyone, even people who are struggling or behind a chance to really work on it and understand the material. The only grades are a few projects and she assigns chapter reading weekly.

Hello, I am currently taking Prof Manati and I really enjoy her class. She has a very modern teaching style and does not give tons of time consuming assignments. She will walk you through all the steps in class and has a very clear and direct set of instructions of what she expects. Don't hesitate to take her. She is awesome!

Prof Manati is a great professor to learn from. Her expectations, although seemingly difficult at first, end up being easier-to-finish than one would originally think. You must at least attempt to answer all questions given; there's no wiggle room for not at least trying to answer questions on quizzes/tests. Very flexible if you're trying to learn.

Great class, there are very few assignments. The assignments themselves are short and easy, and if you have prior coding knowledge, it's going to be a breeze. There are no textbooks either.

This professor has long lectures for seemingly no reason, but she makes the class so easy that as long as you have a computer you'll probably get 100%. If you are already well versed in MS programs these lectures will be TEDIOUS, but she does give you options sometimes that if you have the course material done already you can skip that lecture.

A Cengage access code is required for this class. All assignments are done on Cengage and they are fairly easy. She provides a class schedule in the beginning of class, so make sure you keep up with the due dates. Attendance does not really matter, and YouTube will be your friend when it comes to projects. Can be boring but the class is super easy. You will have to buy cengage as that's where all the assignments are located. She gives a semester schedule that shows when and what is due so you won't fail as long as you don't miss the due date lol

A Cengage access code is required for this class however, you could take advantage of the 14 days trial period if you have the experience in MS programs something the teacher is not quite transparent, with that said, the class is easy. YouTube is a great resource. Words, Excel and PowerPoint 3 Projects & exams, Access projects are optional.

Prof. Manati provides clear and concise direction to learn the course material. The classes tended to be lecture heavy with light text book use. I felt that prof. Manati was understanding in grading assignments. For example, if you made a typo error but she knows you understood the problem, you would get full credit. Personal help is offered too.

Prof is nice and has entertaining lectures, but she is impossible to contact outside of class and never responds to emails. I have never been so thoroughly ignored by a prof lol. She has very few assignments with often vague instructions, and leaves zero feedback. This is a problem because if you have a question/issue, you can't contact her to ask.

Very kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. Professor M knows exactly what shes talking about and this class was a pleasure. Will be taking her for more programming classes later on.

Professor Menati is great. I've had her for a couple classes and will gladly take more with her. Her assignments are highly effective at teaching the related concepts. Listening to her lecture is easy, since she has a nice voice. I wish more professors had Menati's qualities.

A very solid professor and relatively easy class if you have some knowledge of programming. If this is your first programming course you may get a little lost and have to reference websites or the textbook a bit. However, she is more than happy to assist you and help you understand the content. Class is broken up into lecture and practice sessions.

Professor Manati was realistically very professional at the time she taught our COP2800 class online. She was very friendly and would answer any questions. I really appreciated her as a professor. If you have an assignment late or something happened, let her know, and she will help, take it :DD

The class is very straightforward. If you do the work the week that it is assigned, you won't have a problem in the class.

Very sweet, patient lady. Happy to answer all questions. This was a Zoom class and we had one project and one exam due each week. SUPER easy class and we did the projects together on Tuesdays on Zoom. I would totally have this professor again. This class was a breeze. I was able to do my exams the night before they were due.

This is a very easy class if you can teach yourself how to code. There are not a lot of assignments and she does not give feedback but she is an easy grader. She gives a free pdf of the textbook so as long as you read it and do the work you'll be fine.

Is very easy the class, and you don't need a textbook but all assignments is through Cengage and that you have to paid. I got a B just because I got lazy at the end of the course but is so easy that everyone could get an A. The trainings are the same as the exams so I would recommended to do them at the same time.

She is really caring and likes making conversation with the students. If there is a certain problem people had under some circumstances she would extend the deadline. If find that you need to attend class she makes it easy to understand. She even would give us some kind words if we were going through problems in our personal lives. Great professor.

Highly recommended professor for the class, she's very nice and caring about how you score, though despite the automatic grading that the software uses, she completely understands that the process makes some mistakes and happily adds points back to make up for it, I could make a 5 page essay on how great this professor was but I'm limited to 350 ch

Took this in fall 2022. Take her if you want to learn absolutely nothing so you have time to self-study. This class is unbelievably easy and information is often repeated (con). She is a very good person, but she didn't really teach us much, just the bare minimum. Work is not that crazy. 2 projects, 1 mini project, a midterm, and a final. That's it

Professor manati was a great professor, she helps you in every possible way and basically impossible to fail her class. If you want learn how to code take this professor. You will not regret it.

My biggest complaint is her lack of response. Everyone in my class related to the fact that no one could access her, and if we did, it was so late. With that, some of her instructions were really vague which left some students a bit confused. Overall, she gives lots of time for each assignment. I would recommend to find a few buddies in the class.

Good professor, she knows her stuff for sure. My only complaint is if you take hybrid class, it makes it a little harder (not by much). You dont get enough class time to really get good so you need to do your own research to better understand C. Other than that, good class.

Striving for quick graduation, I'm studying at two FL colleges. Found this online C# course on floridashines. Despite being one-month accelerated, the professor made it manageable by guiding us through code and encouraging teamwork. Clear grading made it even better. Eager for more classes with her, maybe PHP next? :-P

She is a perfect person and teacher.

Read the text book, she goes over each chapter in lecture but if you don't read the chapter, you will be behind. Mid term and Final make up 65% of the grade. But exams are not hard and the code you need for the test has been done in class and in projects. Professor is friendly and is available in class or online for questions.

This is the second course I've taken with her. She's very laid back and generous with her grading. My only "complaint" is the assignments were a little too easy. However, the laid back atmosphere made learning this stuff more enjoyable.

Professor Manati is a very good choice for COP-2800! She made the course a breeze. I took it live online, where participation and attendance are important! However, the assignments are easy and she's very flexible if there's any problems completing them. Overall, I loved her class! I'd definitely take a class with her again.

Kind of a teach-yourself course, but the class is easy. Most of the assignments besides quizzes you can retake until you get 100%, and she was lenient with turning work in late; she accepted assignments all the way at the end of the semester.
