Shes the worst teacher I've ever had at UGA. The material is way too hard for an elective, and she doesn't care at all about her students and is overall rude. Genuinely don't understand how she was hired.

Great personality, but she goes by the textbook & that's about it. You don't get any connection to current events or how about what you are learning is applicable to the real world. She gives you some room in the points and tests were not the hardest I've taken but you still have to prepare a lot. Would not be my first elective choice.

Do NOT take FINA 4810 with Moore. The class is so unnecessarily hard for an elective. I wasn't expecting an easy A, but I also wasn't expecting the difficulty of the tests and quizzes. Doable if your course load isn't heavy to begin with. Overall would not take again.

Prof Moore cares a lot and is willing to give you the help you need to do well in the class. She explains concepts as simply as she can. That said, the content of this class is extremely monotonous and tricky. I don't recommend taking this class for a fun finance elective unless you plan to be a forex trader or something.
