Great teacher, very organized and straight to the point. Teaching method is excellant and always making sure everyone understands or he will not move on. He has pop quizess, but they are always off the homework the night before so if you do your homework, easy A on the quiz. He has people go to the board for problems, most of the time volunteers.

Very clear and concise. Very knowledgeable on the topics discussed, keeps the class engaged in lecture, ensures student understanding. Keeps the classroom relaxed and comfortabe. Always has a positive disposition. Would recemond to anyone.

Mr. Atique is a very helpful teacher. I would recommend him for student who are taking math classes at Antelope Valley College. He is willing to work one on one with each student if needed. He is very thural, and is always happy to teach the class something new each class.

He is very helpful. He teaches the subject matter, does examples on the board, and then gives you the opportunity to practice what you've learned. He gives enough homework to help you concrete what you've learned, yet not too much. There are pop quizzes and tests as well. Overall, he's one of the best teachers I've had. i highly recommend him.

He was a really nice guy. He made things easy to learn. I felt that he took to many short cuts which could easily leave room for mistakes. Hes more than willing to help any student and he tells you a lot about his traveling which is pretty interesting. Hes not ancient either so he does have a little more of a grasp on relating with his students.

I've never taken any Calculus at all but with his superb teaching I understand everything. I learned a TON. He gives you the grade you deserve, meaning if you work for it, you'll get it. Watch out for the pop quizzes, and do the homework; if you do, you'll do well.

Mr. Atique is great! He's got a great charisma for the subject he teaches and he definitely knows what he teaches as well. Attendance is mandatory, though. If you miss a class, you might be lost, but he will stop in the middle of teaching to explain something if you don't get it. I would highly recommend taking him for math.

Very nice guy. I took this class on-line and I earned an A. The Educosoft web examples help very much, but do not rely on the website alone. Most of the questions asked on the test came directly from the book, so if you do the unrequired book problems you should do just fine. If you rely soley on the Educosoft website, prepare to be unprepared!

It was an online class so unless your good at math i wouldnt recommend taking it online but Mr. Atique is a great teacher.

He is a tricky man! I thought I was reasonably competent with math until I entered this class. 46 people started our semester and only 26 made it to the final, of those I bet only half actually got a C or better. His tests are SOOO hard! obviously knows his stuff but i felt like he taught the class like a review session.

Mr. Attique Is a great guy and he directs the course based on what the class knows and then directs us from there we coverd all the material needed and the book really sucked it was confusing so I was glad he taught from memory rather than the book. the book was WAY confusing. Props TO MR. ATIQUE

Mr Atique is the best math professor I had @ AVC. I loved his class. I liked his style of teaching. He would introduce a theory, solve an example,then put examples on the board for students to try. SUPER EASY BUT THE CLASS IS TO LONG

very good professor. I took him twice. once for stats and once for math for teaching. In stats he did everything possible to make sure you understood. He even got private class tutors. Math for teaching he would stay after class and talk to you and do everything possible until you understood. He is a very nice guy and I recommend him to everyone!

The way he teaches is great. If you like a professor that misses 2 weeks of class without notice then this is your guy. Wasted my money by ending classes early, a hour class is an hour class not 30 mins. Puts stuff on the final and mid-terms that he did not teach till later on in the course. All in all a POOR professor.

He teaches straight out of the book. He's a good guy though and relatively young it seems like, so it seems like a casual but mature class when he teaches. He missed tons of classes for one reason or another, but he was able to keep up with the syllabus in the end. I would recommend him. He's a fair grader on tests and pretty cool. Do your homework

Mr. Atique was an okay teacher. I always get A's in all my classes but he gave me a B. I did all the HW & did good on tests so idk? Educosoft sucks, theres way too much homework. He missed a few days& covered alot of material in the last 2 weeks. There are probably better teachers out there..

I would take someone else if I could do this class over, hes very clear in lectures but the tests are tough. I got the grade I earned but I think i could have done better, if math is tough for you he's attentive and helpful. He also goes slow and tries to help everyone, but like I said the tests are the killer in this class.

LOVE Atique, he is so awesome. At first I thought he was pretty intense but really he's just very into his subject and making sure we students understand. Professor Atique is a great teacher, I am a retread in math 70 and the first time i took the a/b split which i don't recommend take this professor he is easy to understand, has 3 in-class tutors and has great skills when it comes to math plus he is a very nice teacher. I have learned a lot from him.I had him for math 050, 060, 070 and I am going to have him again spring 102. I have been going to avc for about 4 years and I got to a say "he's one of the best professor's in avc that I had."

Mr. Atique is awesome. I took stats in high school and completely hated it, so I was dreading taking it in college. Atique made the subject relatable and simple. I would highly recommend taking any math class with him--he makes sure that everything is clear and straightforward. Just show up to class and do your work and you're golden.

I was border line failing the class. He does recognize efforts. I did great in class participation, but not a great test taker....but after all, I did pass the class!! He is very clear about things you don't understand. I honestly didn't think I will make it, but he will help if you ask!!

This was a class that I was required to take but it was fairly easy. He had everyone bring the book to class everyday to practice weaknesses and he would help out as much as he could. Mr. Atique is a very nice teacher and helps you understand problems better. I would definitely take him again!

I actually enjoyed this class. He does a great job at teaching the class and if someone doesn't understand he will make sure you do. He uses Educosoft and often gets angry if you complain about the system. He makes his own tests but gives you credit for attempting the problem even if it's wrong. I would take him again.

He is a good teacher,but you have to be at least some what successful in math already. Half the class dropped mid way through the class&bombed his tests. They aren't that hard, but you do have to study.Overall the class is average,he explains it fairly well.If your in Math 050-070 take him.

He has tutors go around to help students out on problems. He is realistic though on what it takes to pass the class. But the tests I think are fair. Study and you will do well. A must take.

Took his online math 130. I very much liked the pacing of the class as I was able to finish on my own time and not dwell on what I already knew.

Professor Atique is an amazing teacher! I have had him for math twice. He grades fair and wants you to do well. You will have to do work in his class. He has pop quizzes almost every week. STUDY STUDY STUDY and you will do just fine.

Great class. College algebra is easy if you focus. If you ask for help, you will get help. I'm terrible at math and don't like it at all. I live 2 hours from Lancaster and took the online coarse and barely made through the end of the semester but I feel if you take this class, with this professor you will like the organization and flow.

EXCELLENT teacher! Very intelligent, but is perfectly able to simplify things so that people can understand. Very organized and easy going. Very helpful and patient. Always claps for anyone who does work on the board and is very encouraging. I would definitely take another class from him. Homework worth 5% of grade, just like it should be.

Very good professor. Make anything clear, and easy to understand. HW is not too much, but you need to do it. If you are not good on math, I will recommond him, he explained very well.

Best math teacher ever! Helps you to understand, until you get it. He breaks down the steps, and it's so easy. I'm lucky, because math is a hard thing for me, I won't swim I'll sink in sea of math. He also has tutors who are there to help you. He is dedicated to showing you how to succeed. All you have to do is listen.

Very good professor, I wouldn't take anyone else for math. You can tell he is passionate about the subject, he wants you to learn and he wants you to succeed. He is very good at making things clear and explains things very effectively.

If you have the chance,TAKE HIS CLASS! I've taken him for 50 & 60. He's the only teacher I actually understand and I'm HORRIBLE w/ math. He's very clear and doesnt skip steps, to ensure that you know exactly what it is that you're doing. Plus he has tutors in the class which add for extra help. He was just born to teach math i guess lol

This was my 1st semester w/ Pro. Atique & won't be my last. I really enjoyed his enthusiasm for teaching math. He is thorough, clear, and cleanly organized which I love! He has a fun & easy going side but also means business when class begins. Respect him and he will respect you. Don't interrupt him while he is lecturing and turn the phone off!

Atique is an excellent teacher, however you must be a proactive student and ask questions when you don't understand. His class is organized which allows students to develop a routine. HW is assigned each meeting. There are 3 exams all similar to HW and problems show in class. Atique is very approachable and will answer any questions. Fantastic!

I was really nervous about taking this class, however, Prof Atique soothed all my anxieties. He's very clear, straight forward, has a great sense of humor, and doesn't take sh*t, which I highly respect. He's always willing to explain things further if need be and I find him to be very engaging. Do the work, don't miss class, & the rest will follow!

Took stats with him in person and college algebra online. Overall a great teacher. He is very clear and available to help but you HAVE to come to class and be serious about it. If you don't know the material, you WON'T do well.. Take good notes and study for the tests and you'll be fine.

Exceptional instructor. takes time to explain in detail to any student who did not get it the first time.I had to drop this class for personal reasons,but i highly recommend this instructor to anyone who really want to learn pre-algebra and above.

I just finished Math 70 unsure if I've passed or failed yet, but i'm signed up for 102 with him as well. He's very clear, if you don't understand he'll go over it until you do. Super friendly once he knows your in for the long run! Be prepared to study hard! No study guide, your expected to know your stuff! Overall great professor, loved the class.

This was my second class with Mr. Atique, and he's probably the best professor I've ever had. He really wants his students to learn, and he's very encouraging. Sometimes he gives pop quizzes, but if you did the homework, you should be fine. Make sure you study for the tests, and don't be afraid to ask questions. He's always willing to help.

He a great professor he teaches very clear and I like his teaching style. Only thing that bugged me was hes getting paid for 3 hours of class time but he only have us an hour and a half each test. And most the class never had to rush the final. We had 10 mins and I had 5 or 6 questions left out of 20.

As long as you're willing to help yourself get help, he will try his best to help you and will not continue until you understand. He is patient and funny but is always on task and overall a great instructor.

Professor Atique knows what he's doing, he's super helpful and he responds to email quickly. The only reason I received a C is because I didn't do too good on the final but if you ask for help he can definitely help you out.

Professor Atique is a proficient teacher, his classes are easy as long as you pay attention and take satisfactory notes. he is straight forward and will help students if they ask him.

His teaching curriculum can be rough at times, but he makes sure you understand the material before you get into any trouble beforehand. Make sure you concentrate on the course at hand because the material you learn will count towards his tests as well as the final.

Professor Atique is so nice and very clear. He makes math easy to understand. He encourages participation and studying. His exams are not tough if you are prepared and he is always willing to spend extra time to help his class succeed. He is very adamant on no cell phones in class, so just turn it off, put it away, and leave it alone.

Good teacher. Teaches you not only how but WHY we solve things a certain way. He gives you chances in class to try the problems on your own. He also gives class work time. Yes there are a lot of homework problems but that's how you learn. Do NOT wait to learn,study, and understand the day before the test, the tests have a lot of material on them.

2 tests and a final. Pop quizzes. Participation is part of your grade. Overall an easy class. He teaches different, but better, than the book. Easy to understand. Just do the hw, which is part of your grade anyways. He's leniant on the grading (gives 12 pts, doesn't mark it all wrong if you forgot something). Take the time to study! Tests grade!

He is a really great teacher, cares about you passing the course, but the one thing i have to warn you. Don't fool around in his class, take his class seriously the material goes by fast. The tests aren't that hard, but their not that easy either. I learned a lot in in his class he'll give you respect, if you show him respect.

A little condescending at some point but he really knows his stuff. He's a good teacher and it's more important that you pay attention or you're done for. He teaches pretty clearly and if you need help, he'd be there to assist you. But then of course, all of the learning is up to you.

N. Atique is one of the best instructors hands down. He is always available to answer questions but be specific on the question. Tests are worth a lot so study what formulas goes with what scenario. However, he gives credit for showing work which can save your test grade. Participation is key, not just for the grade but to study. Great teacher.!!!

Took his class during intersession (much harder then a regular semester due to time) and he's a professor who knows his stuff well. Be sure to ask questions. He will explain until you get it. There's is only 2 test, a final, and pop quizzes. Hw and participation does matter in his class. Overall great professor

This is the second time taking Professor Atique. First time I had taken one of his classes was for Math 130 Online. He is to the point and explains everything that is going to happen in his class. He gives ample time to study for tests as well as review time. Attendance is required as sometimes there is a pop quiz.

I would take him again. If you are not willing to work for your grade or willing to learn the material, just find someone who will give you an "A". If you are looking to be prepared for the higher math classes, then he will definitely give a strong foundation to build upon.

Professor attique is awesome, he is a great teacher for someone who is majoring in engineering or any major that math is REQUIRED because he actually TEACHES. He teaches clearly and thoroughly and will work with you to understand material. Has an abundance of patience. He sets a high standard for other teachers!

I just separated from military. I was dumb down. Had been out of school for 6 years and I'm glad I stumbled upon professor atique. He made sure to go slow and explain his lectures with clarity. He defintley makes sure you are ready for the next course i am now in pre cal thanks to him and not lost like the others.

So i just took my first math test with mr attique and i got a B, this is the second semester i take class. last professor i had set me and the rest of the class for failure. i wasted a semester and money but it doesnt seem like this will happen again this year. if you can take him, i strongly recommend him

Prof. Atique is the type of professor who intends to teach, if you don't care about learning nor your grade, don't take this class. He is an excellent instructor for the students who plan on Mathematics being a large part in their career choices. Make sure you have a solid foundation in mathematics prior to this course.

So I promised if I passed his class I would give him a good review so here we go. Reason being is I suck at math and I failed multiple times with other instructors. Mr atique is a great instructor he loves questions, which I had plenty of. He defintley saved my semester. Needles to say I moved on and will continue my math at Avc with him.

Prof. Atique has been amaing in Math 70. He literally teaches the material as if we have NEVER seen Algebra before, which makes it so much easier. He explains the actual process and makes you understand why, we go out solving problems certain ways. I definitely will take him next semester for Math 102!

professor Atique is one of a kind teacher. he teaches out of passion not just to collect a paycheck. i am currently in his math 102 class and i am finally been able to say i like math, he is a good instructor. you will not see him read a script and teach out of the book, this man knows his material.

Mr Atique is a great Math teacher, he is fast paced but with a little communication he will slow it down a notch and be eager to address your questions. I have never liked math, but he made it interesting. Just like any other teacher he expects you to know the material on tests, but also gives partial credit. In the end you have to earn your grades

This class was mostly online with most communication between student and teacher through email. He is very clear with you and is willing to help you if you ask. Since i had pretty much taught myself this course these are the only things to be said! Would definitely take again!

helpful teacher, but very hard. he is a tough grader literally. he is sometimes rude and very sarcastic. I had to withdraw from his class, at the the end of the semester i heard only five students were left in the class. Do not take him.

Professor Atique is very enthusiastic and precise, and replied to all of my e-mailed questions promptly. Everything was made perfectly clear on the syllabus other than the fact that we couldn't bring calculators to the midterm test, but that didn't really matter as I found both tests quite easy. Class was simple and straightforward.

Professor Nabeel is a really nice teacher. He prefers us to understand the formulas, so we can easy to remember them. If you like Math, I strongly recommend to take the class with Mr. Atique. Remember always listen the lectures and do all the homework. An A is not that hard for you.

Enjoyed learning calculus alot with him, id taken calc in high school but it was very rushed. Really understood the subject matter this time around, highly recommend taking his class for calc 101a

Professor Atique is a great teacher in Ohlone. I will definitely chose him again. Although he gave lots of homework, it is not collected. The class has lots of pop quiz. He will give you the range of the examination before it starts. The final has lots of questions that youve done before. A lost of extra credits and be sure participate the class.

He is not an easy A but his lectures are fun

Lectures are engaging, but expect a challenge. Textbook is essential - read it closely along with engaging in class. Unstuck study AI was a great study aid alongside other resources.

While I cannot say that Math 101B is an easy course, Professor Atique is absolutely here for your success. His class is very test heavy, so make sure to review during his daily office hours if you ever feel unprepared. This course is designed with zero shortcuts, you receive the grade for the genuine effort that you put in. I would take it again.
