One of the best lab teachers at Fresno State! He is very helpful and he makes everything CRYSTAL clear regarding what he wants in your lab report. If you do what he says, you'll get 100 percent on every lab! Take him if you can!

Very caring and fun professor. Took precalculus with him at Fresno Pacific University and he was a very caring instructor. If something went down online and I wasn't able to complete the homework, he always reopened it and understood. He wanted to make sure the class was actually understanding the material. Made a 7:45 am class a lot better.

He is very passionate about his work and he is also very understanding of any situation and accommodates. He listens to student needs and amends according to suggestions.

Very caring and forgiving professor. I spaced on the time at one point and showed up over an hour late for my final. He stayed behind to let me have the full two hours to finish it. Had him for lab and was extremely caring. It was hard because it was online, but he tried to explain the best he could and how to properly do labs and recorded class so attendance wasn't mandatory. From the first day of the lab it was clear Professor Inan cared about his students' understanding of the material. With in-depth lectures preceding the actual activities and further explanation from the professor that was given, the course content was engaging and was not diminished at all by the workload. Dr. Inan is good at presenting topics from different perspectives for individuals. Lab was often the first time we saw the topics in PHYS2A he provided supplemental slides to explain the content. One of the best teachers at Fresno State. He cares about students doing well and is extremely helpful. Professor Inan did his best to fill in the gaps between the lecture and the lab courses, would provide lecture slides and videos ahead of the lab so you can come in prepared, and finally would allow you to make corrections on work.

I think hes a good professor to take physics 4a but i do have some grips about the class itself. The Homework is very lengthy and difficult at times and it is online which can be a no to some people. Other than that the tests are fairly straight forward and there is a ton of extra credit. I passed this class because of the extra credit

Dr. Inan is a caring, accesible, and committed professor that clearly enjoys teaching the subject. He offers many many opportunities for extra credit and you passing the class really depends on the weekly homework and quizzes (online and he gives extensions if you ask nicely). Lectures are dense but fun, he does go VERY quickly through the subject.

Great dude honestly. Cracks dad jokes, fun personality, and you can tell he actually enjoys his job with the way he teaches. Before every class, he took like 30 minutes to do a quick run down of the theories being covered in class that day. Gives great feedback and acknowledges when you work hard.

Professor Inan is a very knowledgeable who is very good at explaining the concepts and gives plenty of resources. However, the amount of HW/Quizzes that are assigned on Cengage is a little overkill, and it was 40% of the grade. Be prepared to work if you want at least a passing grade. He does care about students & does allow extensions for the HW.

Attendance not mandatory because he uploaded pre-recorded lectures from his previous Zoom years. Personally never went to class and just watched basic youtube videos on the topics. There was kind of a lot of homework but it wasn't too hard, just time-consuming. he gives practice tests to prepare for actual tests and gives lots of extra credit

I would highly recommend Professor Inan to any student, whether they like physics or not. He has a clear and efficient way of lecturing. Anyone, regardless of their skill level, is going to be able to understand the content, and eventually start to even like it. Participation does matter! AMAZING!! Prof Nader was very lenient, understood we were taking more classes, and did not want to pile more stress on us. He allowed us more time to do assignments and his pre-lab lectures were very helpful (more than my lecture class imo)

Professor Inan is probably the most caring professor I have ever had in the 3 years I've been in college. He makes sure to let each and every one of his student's knows that he cares and wants them to succeed. He will do everything in his power to make sure you pass the class. Lots of extra credit and endless help provided by the professor.

Physics in general is a hard subject for most, but Dr. Inan makes it possible to do well in class if you put the work in. What makes Dr. Inan a great teacher is the time he makes for students outside of class, while also responding quickly to students if you have questions regarding the hw, quizzes or upcoming tests. Physics itself is hard saying that you need to study on your time however the professor's lecture was clear and rather than just giving you the formula or going over the slides, the professor drives the formula and explain like where and why are we using a certain formula. If you get a chance I recommend taking him.

Professor was very helpful giving much time on the side via zoom to help run through material and achieve higher scores on tests. Professor Inan, also was very understanding and gave time to complete assignments or make accommodations when a situation arose.

By far the best Physics professor at Fresno. Exams are basically the practice exams so if you master those, you're guaranteed at least a B, and for most, an A. Don't be afraid to ask for help as he really does try to help his students succeed as much as possible.

Dr. Inan is a great choice for Phys 2AL. Experiments are 70% of your grade, which he gives very specific guidelines for how he likes them completed. Quizzes are the other 30%, which are taken online. Dr. Inan lectures briefly before each lab, which is very helpful. I would recommend.

Dr. Inan is one of the best professors I have had so far! Phys-2A is not an easy course, especially over a 4-week session. It was quite challenging, but if you put in enough time for the lectures and homework, you should be fine. Dr. Inan offers a lot of extra credit and exam revisions! Take the practice exams seriously; they are really helpful!!

Staying on top of the homework and doing the practice exams multiple times is all you need be successful. He gives partial or full credit if you show effort and work on the exams when you go to office hours.

Overall, amazing physics professor. The only reason I rated 4/5 is because at one point I was told there was no way I can comprehend the material in 4 weeks and I should focus on memorization. Which may be realistic, but also seemed to downplay my ability as a student which was frustrating and slightly discouraging. Always attended office hours!

Took this class over the summer and it was definitely tough but doable. Once you get the hang of the assignments and how the tests are done it is not that bad. I think this class in a normal semester would be enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who is planning on taking it.

Dr Inan is amazing. Physics tends to be a challenging subject but he has clear expectations for students. Do the homework, the practice exams, attend office hours and you'll get your grade.

What I didn't learn in the lecture, I learned it from him. He is AMAZING at simplifying topics. He will give you all the foundation you need for each experiment before you start the lab work and leave the formulas you will need on the board. You don't need to finish the post-lab in the class but it is due by the end of the day.

Good class! Guidelines are very clear and pretty easy to understand. Assignments are due the same day but it's manageable since class usually never takes up the whole time usually will finish the whole post lab by the time I left! Overall would recommend for physics since it's an already difficult subject

If you want to learn physics while enjoying the class, I would say you should take Dr. Inan. He is one of the best professors in Physics. He teaches very well, plus he is very approachable and understanding. His exams are to the point, and he provides very beneficial study guides, which are exactly what to expect on the exam. Dr. Inan's use of practice problems and relating the concepts to everyday life helps reinforce the topics, and I was able to apply them on the exams. He was also very kind, going out of his way to set up office hour appointment times to make sure that the students understood the material and earned a passing grade.

Course was taken during the Winter session which was 100mph for 3 weeks. If you're taking this course during the winter, set aside a minimum of 4-5 hours a day to keep up with the lecture videos and the assignments. Dr. Inan is extremely knowledgeable and approachable, I rated him as difficult solely for the material being covered. Great Professor!

His lectures are very well structured and follows along with the exams. Many of his examples will be seen again in homework and exams with different values so it's important to understand how to derive the equations and what concepts the information actually represents. He gives out tons of extra credit if you are willing to put in the work.

He's a super chill guy and makes lab fun

I don't even know what my final grade is because he takes forever to grade. He's only graded 3 out of 10 labs and the semester is basically over already. You meet every week in a zoom meeting and he separates you in breakout rooms. He explains the labs pretty well though so I would recommend taking him.

Would recommend I learned physics by just watching his videos posted not even lecture helped me learn physics as much as he did. If you are going to take physics 2A lab choose him he is very helpful and cares about his students.

If you do all the work, you should pass the class

Dr. Inan makes this class very easy. Does not grade hard and if you miss points on your lab report he will let you fix it and get points back. He takes a very long time to grade but don't worry because it is easy to get full credit on each assignment. Your lowest lab report is dropped, making this class very easy. He is nice and easy-going.

He does a good job giving context & helpful info to guide you through the lab. If you have a question, he's ready to help. I had his night lab & the quizzes are due usually the next day at 11:59 pm & it was always in relation to the lab, just different values. At times I found his explanation more clear than my lecture. I highly recommend him.

he's the sweetest lab professor ever i enjoyed every lecture. Even though his class are 2 hours, he only talks 30 minutes and lets us go to work alone and if you need clarification he's always there to help.

You work in groups which makes it so much easier to get through the material. I had some family emergencies throughout the semester which Dr. Inan was very understanding & accommodating w/ the labs
