a lot of people in the class got A's, pretty easy class, as long as you do all the hw then you have a pretty good chance of getting and A on the quizes and tests

Great teacher, I recommend her. Dont listen to the last guy, they most likely didn't try. She has a slight accent. Great clarity. Explains the equations well. She grades the papers very fairly. Do the homework, pay attention in class, and you will pass.

SHES REALLY EASY... all the problems on the test are the same exact ones she goes over in the homeworks and in class. She drops half ur final or ur lowest test grade....the homework is worth more than the final!!!

If you just do the HW, and do decent on the quizes, you should be in w/ an easy B or possibly an A. Very good w/ explaining if you ask the right questions.

good teacher, really makes sure you understand the materail, i hate math, and there wer times in this class were i actually became stimulated becuase i started to undertand, one downside is though she has an accent, adn sometimes is forgetful, or confused, but overall good teacher.

Shes not as bad as people say she is. More than half the people in class got an A. She has an accent but not to hard to understand. If you go to class and pay attention you will do good her test are pretty straight forward and she will help if you need help. Very nice also

she was my first math teacher in college, and in high school i would barely pass math with a "C" but she made me enjoy math. yes she does have a strong accent but she knows what she is talking about. just do your homework and you'll do fine. i passed that class with an "A"

She's a little hard to understand but if you have a question she will take the time to help you. Her test are great because the questions come straight out of the book.

She is helpful and explains step by step in doing problems and in answering questions. Quizzes and Tests are not hard as long as you do the homework (optional) because they're really similar.

She is nice and is a very easy going teacher. I like her class so much!! Her is easy too and i got an A.

its hard to get easy stats teachers. so if u get bensidi, stick to her!! if ur the below avg student, WORK hard! if ur OK in math, this class will b a peice of cake!i studied like just 3 hrs fr her midterms and scraped an A! fr her final, make sure u go through the practice finals on susan dean's website n the bac of the book! good luck!

She is very patient when teaching. Accent takes some getting used to, but she teaches the class in a way that makes it hard to fail. with quizes weekly, 3 exams and one final. she drops worst hw, worst test, and worst exam or half the final. seriously hard to fail.

I had her for 212 & she was really easy. Very nice & notes are organized. I decided to take her class for 114 & failed. She teaches you the material in 1-2 days, expects you to know it &quizzes you on the following FRiday. Goes too fast for 114 but drop the lowest hw, quiz, & test scores. Do her hw, know the material, take the notes, & u will pass

Do her homework and you will PASS! I find that the material is not hard if you do the hw and take notes and show up to class. She does require you to do hw. She also find ways to help you pass the class. She's very helpful and doesn't make you feel dumb when you ask her questions.

I love her class! It was difficult, but you have to put in work in order for you to get an A+ . I spent at least 10 hrs in tutoring a week, but it paid off. She's very helpful, but if you don't get what's going on I recommend that you go to tutoring. I would pick Stats over 114 any day. You really have to study for her quizzes and midterms!

Professor Bensidi is a very nice teacher. She's very helpful, but she makes many mistakes on correcting tests and lectures. Very easy class, but there are a lot of homework online, Webassign. TAKE HER CLASS!!

Tests and Quizea are very easy. she drops one test, one quiz and one HW. she wants every body to pass her class

Although she has a bit of a french accent her lessons are really good. They get to the point and the class is a little English heavy for my liking.

I love her! I have an A in her class even though stats is not my thing. I would love to take her again. pay attention in class, put in effort, do your homework, which is webassign, which is pretty good, ask questions, and don't skip class. you have to put in effort for you and for her and you will be okay. we had free online textbook.

One of the best math professors at De Anza, she is so clear with everything and breaks things down to where they actually stick with you. She also gives great notes and awesome examples to help with homework.

Ms. Bensidi is THE best math teacher I have ever had. She explains everything thoroughly, slowly and will stop the class to explain a concept for a single student if she has to. I've ALWAYS struggled with math, and I'm getting A's because she explains every little thing. She's patient and reasonable, If math is hard for you, take Bensidi.

Nadia is an amazing teacher! She cares for her students and wants everyone to pass. She is VERY patient and will make sure you understand before moving on. Easy A if you really try in her class. Attendance is mandatory! She is willing to help you 100% of the time if you take her class seriously. Homework is mandatory but it is there to help you!

Such a great teacher! Wants all her students to pass, if you're someone who struggles in math I recommend mps. There are 4 quizzes and 4 exams she drops the lowest of both. Gives you updates on grades every so often so that's nice. Takes attendance assigns hw daily on my math lab. Up to you to do it or not, it does affect your grade.

Nadia is simply Amazing! She should have a 5.0! She is very patient and is great at her job. Which is to TEACH. Homework does affect your grade but it is there to help you pass the class with an A. Quizzes or Test every other week but super easy and drops lowest scores. Pretty easy class as long as you show up and do the work which isn't much.(MPS)

Bensidi made this subject very easy to understand, and her tests is what she teaches us in class. Take notes, do the extra credit, and don't be afraid to ask for help. If you print out her practice exams and worksheets that she emails it will most likely help you pass the class and understand the material more. She really cares about her students!

I LOVE HER. I came into the class not knowing what to expect but she made stats so easy to learn. She is also very understanding about homework and grading. If she feels that people are confused, she gives extensions. Everything you need is in the notes she gives in class. I loved her and would take her for any math class possible. SO SWEET!

Nadia is very nice and gives extensions on HW and extra credit. She's a bit impatient though and doesn't go through everything. If a maths major, I wouldn't recommend. If you want an easy A, go for it. My class felt a bit like high school and some students were immature, so be prepared for people like that that aren't serious about their education.

She is super kind! She can get a little frustrated at times, though I don't blame her-- in my class, we had many students that wouldn't pay attention. She will help you if you need it, and she extends the homework a lot! Homework is not overwhelming-- the tests are a bit difficult, but nothing crazy. There's also some group work, but very easy!

She is a good teacher though sometimes she late for class. She helped me a lot, she worked hard on class but often made mistakes on details lol. To be honest, the homework a little bit much.

I loved Professor Bensidi's class! Her teaching style is clear and easy to understand and so is her grading criteria. She is so nice and caring and she will extend deadlines when needed. The class consists of homework, tests, quizzes, one project and group labs. Loved her class, I wish I could take her again for other classes!

Tests and quizzes are a lot easier than homework!Of course, just like any other class, as long as you keep up and pay attention in class, you will be guaranteed successful in this class. She takes an approach in which she answers all your questions regardless if it takes more time. She is flexible with homework extensions, etc. Highly recommend!!!!

Good Stats Professor. Wants you to understand the material. Fast paced class. Don't skip class. DO -->all HW, online quizzes, 3 group Labs (tough lab grader so ask questions if it's not clear to you), Extra credit, and study guides. STUDY! And you should be fine. Help is available at the tutoring center.

Great teacher, at times goes a little fast with her lectures so sometimes self teaching at home is needed. But always gives ample time for homework, extends it when asked and lots of extra credit opportunities. Tests problems are a lot easier than the study guides, but you still need to know the concept to pass. Coming to class is key.

Ms. Bensidi is an awesome professor; she will go above and beyond for her students to make sure you understand. She's very involved and will check up on you to make sure you are understanding the material. There is quite a bit of homework, so be prepared, but if you pay attention in class, you should be fine. The best De Anza Math teacher Ive had.

ec rly boosted my grade. shes super nice and caring but her lectures are hard to understand, mostly self-study. exams and quizzes on zoom open camera, only 3 on webassign. lots of hw but always extends. drops lowest 1 lowest quiz, exam, and hw. the hw is a lot of points so do them. tests/quizzes are fair and similar to hw, but u have to show work

She was such a good professor to have, I took her precalc 1 class which is math31 but it wasn't an option on the selections. She's very caring and if you don't understand her, all you need to do is ask her to explain it and she will be more than happy to help. She's SUPER lenient on late work and will extend anything overdue, you just got to ask.

Professor Bensidi was very kind and caring about her students. She was communicative and available in class and during office hours even though the course was kind of hard and challenging. If you have any issues with assignments or schedules, please contact her ahead of time or meet with her during office hours because she is ready to help you.

the textbook she provides is free, she honestly is a great professor. put in the effort to do the work she assigns and ask questions, you'll do good in the class. I took her last fall 2022, and I dropped out of my stats class in hs but now know a lot because of the way she taught it. she's very approachable

If you struggle understanding professors with accents don't take her. Attendance isn't "mandatory", there's online hw and a quiz once a week, super manageable and easy, but she will DIRECTLY be rude to you if you aren't paying attention to her boring lectures, I only showed up once a week for class. She grades hard on labs and projects aswell
