She's good and helpful!!!
This class is the easiest A ever. The online tests can be done without reading the book (just search through the chapters for the answers) and most problems can be also answered using common sense. The teacher is unorganized though, but other than that, if you just want an A, you would have to try to get anything lower. Ridiculously easy.
She is super easy. If you get an A (which you obviously will) there's no final. Chapter tests are once a week but they are really easy. :)
VERY EASY!!!! TAKE HER SHE'S VERY HELPFUL!!!!
I worked really hard in her class. I participated, did all her quizzes, even extra credit. Some how I ended up not getting an A. Yet I had high scores on everything. I'm going to the dean. I feel my grade was personal. If you don't want to be graded personal and unfair, I advise you not to take her. I got marked down for blackboard mistakes.
I have no words to describe her. She is the best teacher ever. TAKE HER, TAKE HER, TAKE HERE!!! You will learn a lot.
Professor Nadia is such an amazing professor. She's very helpful and this course taught me countless important things about college and how to become a better student. I RECOMMEND TAKING THIS COURSE FROM HER. Her tests are fairly easy IF you read the textbook.
She is a very judgemental and narrowminded person. She often contredicts herself. It is a easy class but she isn't a easy person to get along with.
Professor Nadia is the best teacher at Ohlone college I highly recommend to take her class in person or online class it is easy A she is always there to help her student. she is the best teacher ever
She is one of the greatest teachers you will ever meet! The class is very helpful and as long as you show up to class and do the weekly homework, discussion and test, you will get an A! Guaranteed! (It is and is not an online class)
She's awesome!!!! her class is not hard as long as you do the work! heck it's one homework assignment, one small discussion, and an open book test! You can't lose! Show up and work and you will get an A! This class helped me greatly.
This class is highly recommended for new students.
Nadia is a great and awesome I took this class because returning to school and this was a great choice I have learned so much about how to succeed in college I would advise any student to not leave college without taking this class and how wonderful it was she is also a awesome counselor. you ROCK NADIA
This was a hybrid class. She is very kind but can sometimes be confusing but just ask for her to explain. She is a good person to know because she is also a counselor and can help you! The PD-105 is not a difficult class, a lot of common sense but its useful if you need help with study habits or test taking. I enjoyed the class.
Nadia is an amazing instructor! As long as you do your part as a student and complete your work you will get an A! I HIGHLY recommend this course to ANY incoming freshmen!!!
Really easy class, just keep up with the online homework assignments and you'll get an A
Great teacher, class was very informative and the workload was not bad at all! Highly recommend taking this class!
One of the best teachers I have had this semester. I needed advice and she does give the best answers. This class was easy and clear. Helped me a lot
Professor Dadgar gives your great information to build your college confidence. if you're a incoming freshmen this class is ideal to set up a good college future. this class is CSU and UC transferable and is a cake walk if you do attend class and do the work.
She is so nice shes a 2 in 1 counselor and instructor. This class was very helpful as it taught me everything i needed for college i recommend this class to incoming freshmen
Professor Dadgar is amazing!! I encourage everyone to take her course. Personal development is a course everyone who goes into college should take. It's a tremendous help in terms of learning about the techniques of passing through college without a hitch. Nadia herself is inspiring and always there to help no matter what! This course is a must!!
Completely useless class. Weekly assignments in which you write a 2pg summary on a chapter in the book. Weekly quizzes. Class chats are a waste of time, everyone rambles about nothing. I don't get the point of anything we did. Prof. doesn't know how to spell or teach. Take it if you need credits but not if you wanna learn anything.
Completely unhelpful. Good comments are because she gives an easy counselors class. She is Not a professor but Is a horrible counselor. Completely negative feedback. Told me I wouldn't be able to get into the Universities i wanted to but I Did. A pessimistic counselor with limited vocabulary and didn't offer any help. Worst I've EVER had!!!
Hey Professor Dadgar is amazing, I loved this class and trust me its a must take, shes so helpful, the class was pretty fun. If you have the chance to select her class make sure you do because you will have a lot of fun. She helps you with how to get through college life, I've left this class very well prepared to succeed!
She's an amazing instructor and counselor. The PD class was super fun and made the lectures very interesting. She is an outgoing person which made the class AWESOME! She's an attentive listener hence why she's a counselor as well. Would recommend her being your counselor to lead you in the right direction!
She has an engaging personality and teaching style. The guidelines for each lesson are very clear. She is very knowledgeable about her subject and tries to help every student succeed. Definitely recommend taking this course.
In PD 105 we learned a basic guideline of essential parts of college without actually applying anything or going deeper into it. Lectures were repeats of what we learned for HW. It is a very easy class with the HW only being 2 pgs as a summary which wouldn't help with the application of concepts. Easy class but not very useful information.
This class is the best class for a person to take in college. I wish I would've taken it when I first started 2 years ago. It has helped me in ways such as self-assessment, taking notes, memorizing, studying, transfer, motivation, & career & lifelong success. I only wish she was a more quick to answer me back on questions I asked her over emails.
The material learned in this class can benefit us students greatly for the long run even for the future. This class can give students a new perspective on education which High School fails to teach in counseling. This class is one of the most important classes which can help with "College Success"
Just do the homework and you should be fine.
Mrs. Nadia Dadgar is an awesome teacher! You will not be disappointed for going to her class. Real easy going and smooth, she just wants the best for everybody! 3
Professor Dadgar is honestly one of the best professor's. That I had for the Spring 2016 Semester I would honestly take her class again and recommend that others take it to. It was a helpful and structured class. I think that it really helped me to plan out my stay here at Ohlone. It also helped me to take my education seriously .
Her class is inspirational and it motivates you to try harder in all of your classes. , This class didn't really help me decide what I want to be in the future but just make sure to do the chats that are required once a week. You have 1 assignment due every week and a quiz every week also. She lets you turn in late work which also helps .
Great class atmosphere. Participation is key and I would not miss class if I were you. You get to interact with my classmates on a weekly basis and the online chats we have are very helpful.
Nadia Dadgar is a very great professor. She is very helpful and puts things into perspective.
Nadia is a great professor she is a an honest a straight up when she lectures. She is also counselor which she is helpful if your having trouble picking your classes. But I would take her class again is an easy A class
She is a really nice professor. it is such a fun class. it is super easy class and helpful for new students who want to know which classes you should choose, how to manage your time, how to manage your stress and life stuff. it will help you to boost your GPA. Easy A if you come to class regularly and do your work ( not a difficult work).
Funny lectures, one homework assignment a week, one test and a group chat. She doesn't ask for a lot on the assignments. She is a great teacher and and is there for her students.
Nadia Dadgar is an amazing professor. She cares for everyone in her classes and wants the best for all. Class is pretty easy, you can easily cruise through the semester with an A in her classes.
This PD class is a must take!
Nadia is so amazing!! She is always there for her students ready to help. Her lectures get you thinking about your future and help you succeed! Such an easy grader you will deff get an A or B! All you have to do it try. Super duper easy class
Don't Think twice. Professor Dadgar is an amazing teacher! If you are a freshman or if you still have questions about your college career take this class. It honestly helps a lot and it is made very easy by the way she teaches.
Very supportive professor. She is very understanding and helpful. Class discussions weekly, along with one test, and one homework assignment. Nothing too crazy, do you're work and you will get a good grade. I definitely recommend this class.
Must take! I definitely recommend this class for every college student. Everything taught in this class is extremely beneficial and incredibly helpful. Mrs. Dadgar is very knowledgable; its obvious she wants her students to exceed and push towards success. This class is life changing for those who lack motivation and aren't sure what they are doin
Professor Dadgar is a great Professor she is very helpful and pushes you to do your absolute best. In addition she is helpful in planning out your future and making your stay at Ohlone effective. Professor Dadgar is willing to work with you and be that counselor who will carry you through the two years that you are here at Ohlone.
She is a nice and helpful professor ..
Ms. Nadia is one of the best teacher I have ever had. she is very easy. just do all the class works and homework's and you will get nothing but an A. she is very helpful. she is always there for you. she is willing to work with you so you could get the best grade possible. very fun class looking forward to take another of her class soon.
She's always there to help and has distributed home assignments so that they are not hectic and can be done throughout the week. Easy 'A' if you take little effort.
she is my favorite professor and the best
great class. It teaches you how to be a better student and better person and how to succeed in life. Mrs. Dadgar really wants you to succeed and become a better person in life. Homework and tests every week but not difficult at all. I enjoyed this class
very good class to help with transfer. if your new to college this class will help you pick the classes you need for you major.
Everything you do for homework and test are all online. If you just do the homework then you pass. There are group chats which are super easy and a lot of bs. I would recommend taking her she is a great professor. Gives your GPA a boost.
Ms. Dadgar really does care about her students and wants everyone to succeed. I took this class to fulfill a transfer requirement and I think she knows most students do but regardless she looks out for all her students. It is a hybrid class and as long as you do all the homework and tests and participate you will pass no doubt.
She is overall a very nice person and wants everyone to ultimately succeed. Grading criteria are also very clear. She absolutely wants every student to pass, and is very willing to work with you if you have any problems.
Awesome teacher. Great mentor. A person to look up to once you hear how successful she has become ever since she was a everyday college student like us.
Nadia is an AMAZING teacher! She has completely opened my eyes to school, to be more aware about my choices while I am in school and most importantly to BELIEVE that college is not easy but it is absolutely 100% doable. This class is PERFECT for students that need motivation with school, this class is perfect as a beginning course to your GE.
The class goes really in depth in things that students can do to be successful in college, and even beyond that. The teacher is really nice and always tries to connect with the class, which helps liven up the atmosphere. Overall, this class can be really beneficial to any and all students who are willing to put the content to use.
She is a vey kind teacher that really inspire you to want to try hard in school. This is a good class for people that just arrived into college, teaches you how to succeed. Just stay on top of your assignment and your good.
Nadida's Personal Development class gives a new outlook on the college life as well as skill used inside and out side the work place. This class gives clarity for the future and helps build motivation. I recommend P.D 105 with Nadia to all new college student who want to experience the best college experience possible.
Ms. Dadgar is such an amazing teacher. She really sits you down and clearly explains what the class is about and what is going to happen throughout the semester. The class opens your mind to what to expect now as a student and as a professional. I recommend this class for someone who wants a to understand college and what their future could hold.
she the best pd teacher i ever had
Expected to attend the class. Online homework of 2 chapter quizzes and 2 assignments per week. Course material is mostly common sense. Good to boost the GPA with an easy A.
Professor Dadgar is an amazing professor and her class is the best. I highly recommend to take it, it's easy and really help you. I'd also recommend her as a counselor she's VERY helpful. Easy A class that counts for credit take it!!!
Doesn't seem to know about the subject she teaches. Every class is just the class reading from the book and her unhelpful occasional commentary. For the unit on speed reading we basically watched an infomercial, and one of the units she gave hw on she didn't even go over in class, and instead had a unrelated 'societal discussion' on race & gender.
This class was fun and teaches you a lot of techniques to help you in college.
Really great class to change bad habits, mney management, overall prep to be successful in college. Would take again.
She is very well-versed in the subject she teaches and is very passionate about it. Not only that, she is very passionate about her students, past and present. I just overall loved her as a teacher and would recommend her class to anyone.
She is very nice and helpful. You can come to her with any problem and she will help you get through it. Her class is very useful for finding out what you want to do in your life for a career.
Great Professor! Cares about her students. I would definitely recommend. She is super flexible with our schedules since it is a hybrid class. It is very useful for incoming freshmen. Definitely a must for first semester!
Great class and great teacher. She is very willing to help you out and the class is super useful in day-to-day life. You do have online chats which can be a pain to plan time for, however it's worth it because it is fun and useful to communicate with your peers. I definitely recommend pd-105 and this teacher!
It's my second year at Ohlone College and I decided to take this class just as a GE but quickly learned that this class was very helpful. I was able to learn tips and tricks to help me become the best student I could be. She is very good at what she does and she is very inspirational I highly recommend this class especially cause it's only 3 units.
Great professor. Super nice and very understanding. Would highly recommend for any new students as it is a great class to help adjust to the new atmosphere of college. A pretty easy class but also very fun. Definitely my favorite class so far.
It's my second year at Ohlone College. This was the most bs easy 3-units I've ever earned in my life. I rarely needed the book, because most of the quizzes/tests were found online lol. Don't skip class. Don't forget to participate in the class. If you're looking for an easy-going class, this is the one for you. Trust me you'll be fine. ;)
She is a very good teacher and this is a very good class. I really recommend if you are a freshman you should take this class ASAP. It is very easy to get an A. and make you a better person!
she is amazing highly recommended
As a professor she is amazing, she works with everyone and gets everyone engage in all subjects she was teaching and this method worked the best for me, and all the subjects that we learned were very helpful to me. and as a person, all I can say is that she is just an amazing and very caring person.
At first I felt hesitant to take PD105 because I felt I knew what to do in order to be successful in college. However taking this class definitely taught me lessons that I wont just apply just to college but in life. Professor Dadgar is a gem to Ohlone. She really wants to help you succeed. I came out as a better person at the end of this class.
Best ever. would take over and over again. Awesome professor. So good I cant explain it. Make sure you do all your work and everything, great teacher always helpful and funny.
She's an amazing teacher. Very motivational and helpful. If you submit your assignments you'll definitely get an A.
She's very polite, understanding, and is able to help you get through College.
Mrs. Dadgar was a great teacher, very inspiring and really here to help you I definitely recommend to someone who needs some good college tips
Professor Dadgar is not only an incredible counselor, but also as a professor. She helps you know what your goals are as well as helps you set them. She also makes sure you're on schedule and helps you decide what classes you need to take to transfer. She is super caring and kind to her students. I would take all her classes once again.
Completely loving and compassionate teacher. Would always be positive and build people up. Wonderful chance to experience the love and compassion of other students.
Hella good suuuuuper easy take this class first seriously
Goes over what you need to bw successful in college. You should take her.
Definitely a class I should have taken my first semester, but either way this class helped me a lot. I was able to learn how to transfer, go into detail about many topics that I did not know about, and also guest speakers that help us with life lessons.
Professor Dadgar, is very helpful, she is always very motivational and she wants the best for you. If you so the homework and all assignments you will get an A.
friendly
This was a great class and Nadia is great! She is very caring and constantly reminding her class that she is there for them. She doubles as a counselor so it's helpful to have her on your side. The class was fairly very easy. This was a hybrid class so there was a lot of online homework and tests, but they were easy to do. Definitely recommend!
She is an amazing teacher/counselor and she will help you out a lot. In class we have discussions and group discussions which really helped me out and they are really motivational. Take this class if you are coming to college first year. This class will help you graduate college fast and easy. Amazing teacher and class. TAKE HER, SHE'S THE BEST!
Nadia Dadgar is supportive towards her students. However, you do need to put in the effort of being involved and committed. Which is fair and understandable, I would say build a connection with her and she will do her best to be understanding.
PLEASE TAKE A PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT CLASS NO MATTER WHAT YOUR MAJOR IS!! Saves you so much time towards graduating
Effortless. Be present in class. Submit your quizzes and submit your assignments. TA-DAH you get an A!!
She's an inspirational lecturer and always leaves you with something great to think about when you get home. Her class is an easy A, just do all your home work and tests online and on time and come to class and you'll pass easily! 10/10 recommend
She's really into her class and really does care about her students. It was an enjoyable class to attend.
Mrs. Dadgar is one of the best Prof in entire Ohlone. She is simply amazing by caring about her students. She is not only a good Prof also an amazing consular. I should admit Mrs. Dadgar inspired me with lots of things thro my academic career. I have learned many things from her class. We need more of Mrs. Dadgars in our college. Thank you, Mrs.
If you cannot get along with Mrs. Dadger then you cannot get along with anyone. Mrs. Dadger has helped as me teacher and as a counselor for over the last few years and she is great at explaining any college concerns you may have at all. If you are looking for a class to help you be successful in life, I would recommend taking any of her classes.
She's an awesome teacher that really cares about your well being. She also does give out her fair share of assignments online but its all doable and can be done within an hour.
This class was very helpful. It focuses on a lot of aspects of college life and how to improve yourself. Nadia cares a lot for her students, she is a counselor so she can also help with making an SEP and answer any questions you have pertaining college. Not too much work: a quiz, discussion and assignment due on Sunday each week. Easy A!
She is a really doo teacher. She is really helpful in this class. The class assignment is always online but she gives you a week to do the homework. Really flexible if you get stress with other classes you are able to talk to her about it and she will help with the load of the class assignment. The things you learn you will take beyond this class.
She is an AMAZING professor, I took her PD 113 and she expects you to respect everyone which is very important. We learn a lot in this class. She is very specific about what she wants and its very straight forward. It is an easy A for sure. Just go to class and do the online work thats IT.
One of the best professor at ohlone college. She taught me very crucial things in order to be successful in college. THANK YOU PROFESSOR!!!
This class helps you learn what you need to do
Professor Dadgar is very caring and she's passionate about what she does. Her lectures are clear and straight to the point. You learn a lot in this class that applies to your life and it's an easy A as long as you show up and do the homework. She genuinely wants the best for her students! I highly recommend taking her classes.
I learned a lot taking her personal development class (PD 105). She really sets you up to succeed and provides you with all the tools to do so. Professor Dadgar cares so much about her students and I recommend her class to anyone who needs a little guidance through community college.. and life in general.
I took Professor Dadgar's PD 105 class and it was amazing! I felt very motivated and had clear goals for my future. This class is a class I would recommend every student to take. The professor alone is great and very accessible. The homework was always due every Sunday via Canvas and its really up to you to manage your time to get them completed.
Professor cares deeply for you individually as a person and constantly motivates and supports students to become the best person we can be. Definitely enjoyed this class and feel like I could take on the world.
I really enjoyed taking this course! This was my first class here at Ohlone and I was really nervous and worried about attending! When I actually came to class and heard Professor Dadgar teach it helped put all my stress about college at ease.I would definitely take this class again. She is an amazing teacher who is really funny and kind,
Very fun class, easy going teacher, with appreciation for students opinions and views. Very open and warming classroom.
she really cares about what you want to be in life. shes very much involved with who we are trying to be in the future. this class was so helpful to me in getting ready for what college has in store for me. this class was not hard but it really gives an idea in what to look forward to in becoming a successful college student. take this class!
This class is easy if you do the work on time and show up to class. The professor is super caring, makes sure you have a good time in the class and is always there to help you. It's a great class to take especially during your first year in college. It helps you get settled in and teaches you how to get past the obstacles you might face in college.
Pd113 This class was extremely fun and she was a lot of fun to have talks and go into deep conversations about
Amazing class, amazing professor. Definitely recommend to everyone, especially those who will be first-year college students!
Took her during the Fall semester! Professor Nadia Dadgar is extremely understanding and caring, I recommend this class to everyone. She's also an amazing counselor!
Professor Dadgar's course is really straight forward. Just show up, participate and do the homework and you do just fine. You will learn a lot of information about yourself and how yo be successful
This class was very cool and vyry helpful and made me feel like a part of the class. Professor Dadgar was really nice. We really learned a lot in class and out with the text book. I really appreciate the help and the motivating myself and the class as well.
This class was pretty helpful as a first semester college student. I liked how she made the SEP (student education plans) an assignment. I would have never known about that resource if it weren't for this class. This course also gave me a lot of information about life-long skills. You should definitely take this class as soon as possible.
Very understanding and is approachable to talk too. Not a lot of homework just a weekly section of work due on midnight each Sunday. Not all lecture based does have some in class projects with partners. Also at the end of each lecture she has everyone say one thing they learned. Overall, an easy class if you show up and participate.
Taking this class was one of the best choices that I have made during my time at Ohlone College. Mrs. Dadgar is not only a great professor but also an awesome counselor! Thanks to this class, I was able to find my passion, my goals, and overall what I really wanted to do in life. I believe that you guys will learn something useful from this class.
I recommend everybody to take this class, especially during your first semester. We learned so much about stress, mental health, how to be successful in college, work, etc. This class was amazing and VERY beneficial not only for college, but for life. Professor Dadgar is hands down, the best and the most caring professor you'll ever have.
Professor Nadia is very sweet and inspirational. this class is very helpful for students who are in transition from high school to college. this class provides great life skills that can later be applied to your other classes and work. she helped me create my student education plan and really helped me to make sure my two years at ohlone were worth
This course gave really good information, information I could imagine using in the future to better handle college courses. Professor Dadgar was willing to talk and discuss any issues had with the course.
I joined this class because it was presented to me by another counselor during the Summer semester when trying to register super late for classes. And I made the choice to join this class and I am thankful that I joined this class. I also got to meet a great professor who really wants the well being of her students while teaching college skills.
This teacher is extremely dedicated to helping you pass this class and succeed in life. You'll learn a lot of skills from time and money management to planning for the future and setting goals for yourself. I would suggest taking this class your first semester at this school as you can apply skills learned in this class elsewhere. Very Enjoyable.
I had Prof. Dadgar for her PD 105 class, and it definitely helped me develop a new and better attitude about my experience here at Ohlone. She's very passionate when she's teaching and she talks a lot about her personal experiences during lecture, which makes the class interesting. She's always open to talk if you need help with anything.
This is an excellent class to take on your first semester of college. It is motivational and teaches you the skills needed to succeed in college. It also goes over the obstacles one faces during college and in your professional life. Some things to consider before taking the class is that there is a lot of busy work and homework in the class.
She is hilarious and her lectures are amazing. She is very inspirational and really knows how to motivate students to reach their goals. She is also very honest, but in a good way because she knows how to help you improve in your skills. From this class, I learned a lot from the importance of student education plan, time and money management. :-)
Gives great advice on life skills, such as money management and time management
She is really supportive, optomistic and caring. Really informational and helpful class, it gives you a lot of skills and insight.
Best Professor at ohlone
Great Professor, always happy and has a real desire to help you succeed.
Nadia was one of the most real and coolest professors I've had! She obviously cares about her students and wants to give everyone an A. I recommend this class to any student, it's useful to everyone.
It was mandatory for me to take this class for General Ed, but it actually decently helped me keep on task with other classes.
This class was good for me because it gave me extra motivation. Professor Dadgar is very well respected, she is very clear at grading plus the assignments are clear to understand. Take this class even if you just need a couple more units.
Professor Dadgar was amazing! Ive been struggling with myself and my education and this class has definitely helped me find myself and it has helped me discover my strength and weaknesses.
Professor Dadgar was an amazing teacher as well as her assistant Manisia, i really enjoyed this class and id want to take it again. Thank you for a great year.
She is the best, and her class is really interesting, she was also my counselor at the time I was choosing my classes for the semester and she recommended it as an easy GE, but throughout the semester I really enjoyed coming to this class. The class meets once a week and you have tests every weekend, but nothing scary. You will actually have fun.
Great overall professor
We watched a lot of motivational videos, group discussions, etc. Lectures every class meeting, and we had to do a group discussion online, an exam on the chapter and an assignment. Overall very inspirational class and she got jokes. Has a personality so the class was always something I kinda looked forward to.
I would recommend this class if you're struggling with knowing what to take or major in. It taught me valuable life skills.
Its chill. Show up once a week, hw is due every Sunday online which is usually a discussion, a paragraph, and a quiz. If you show up and do your hw you're set. Kbye
Professor Dadgar is very motivating, inspirational, funny and she cares about all her students. She teaches us life skills that are very beneficial for the future such as money management, stress advice, test advice, and many more life skills that will help throughout college.
Really great teacher. I think she really cares about the students and their successes. It wasn't the hardest class, but some work is needed. Make sure your work is being kept up with. She cares about the students and is easy to talk to one on one. Nice class. I would take her in a class again.
Worst professor I've had so far! (she's actually a counselor at Ohlone) Be prepared to do a lot of work. She's very unorganized and bad at responding to emails. She posted work out of order and sometimes late, which gives you less time to do work. She also posted the final (which is a paper) late.
good class too raise gpa and alot of helpful tips to get you through college. highly suggest taking a PD class when starting college. Professor Dadgar is also a counselor and is willing to help and work with students to keep you on track.
Ive taken two of her PD classes and theyve both been fairly easy classes, had weekly organized homework, quizzes, discussions and tests on canvas. Her classes are very straightforward and she doesnt just read the context straight out of the book she thoroughly explains the topics and relates it to you and your personal life. Shes a great prof!
Nadia Dadgar truly cares about the success of her students. She is well spoken and has a great style of teaching. it is not the normal lecture style we got involved with groups, she brought home topics with videos and even held a web class one week which I though was really cool.
A good class thatll help you get an idea of how to navigate around and through your journey at community college.
Professor is flexible and willing to work with you on most deadlines. The class makes you think about your life a little more.
Definitely a class that ought to be taken on the first semester. Really helpful with providing tools to help manage time, as well as the requirements needed for transferring on time. Best of all, the professor is very kind, helpful, and someone you will likely see again in the counselor's office.
Professor Dadgar is wonderful, I learned a lot in her class such as transfer prep and even about myself. I would definitely recommend to any student at Ohlone.
Great class to take, you learn a lot about yourself and many tips that are helpful towards obtaining a degree. Professor Dadgar is a great professor as she always go that extra mile towards making sure her students succeed.
Personal development is an amazing class. It teaches us strategies to manage stress and the techniques of studying and test taking. The Professor is really sweet. I recommend this class to every student.
Prof. Nadia is such a very caring professor. She really wants her students to be successful in college. Shes also a counselor at Ohlone and helps students achieve their academic and career goals. Ive already took 3 PD classes with her and I found her class really helpful and easy.
Its a educated course on how to get you on track to a bachelors degree.
Awesome teacher/Counselor. Shouldve taken her my first year.
Easy A, you dont really have to show up, just do the work online and youll be fine.
Very cool teacher!!!!! #1
Dank professor. Pretty simple class. Do the work; discussion, assignment, and a test due every Sunday night. Show up often and befriend the teacher shes a great counselor.
Ms Nadia is probably one of the best professors you could ever have; not only are her classes fun and engaging, but shes always there to help her students out. Its because of her help and advice that I got accepted into a graduate program at CSU! Her classes will make you a better student and more importantly, a better person.
This class was very entertaining. I liked the flow of it. There are 1 page assignments every week, but they help a lot with my writing.
Great class to take to get a better understanding of how to succeed in not only College, but also in life. I took this class for the credits but ended up learning so much more about succeeding in life, managing money, and of course school. I would highly recommend everyone to take this class. The class is also 3 credits and transferrable.
patient and give more flexible than other professors
Im took this class and shes was amazing, you only meet once a week on Wednesday from 3pm-4:30pm but really we end around 4 we always lets go early. Shes super nice and caring, very easy to get along with. The homework is online its super easy not hard at all that I can complete all the work she gives in 1 hour. Overall shes the real one.
Professor Nadia is more than just a professor, she helps you with any problems you encounter whether its school related or not
Prof. Dadgar is honestly the best. She really makes you think about your life. Not only is she a professor, but also a Consular at Ohlone. She always wants the best for her students and cares a lot about them. You won't regret taking her class. Make sure you take it your first your at Ohlone.
I recommend everyone to take this class in your first semester.
Professor Nadia is very organized about the assignment and the deadline. She is the Counselor and teaches personal development classes. All of her PD classes are very helpful for students in different way. I have taken PD 105 in spring 2019. This class has taught me how to handle many things at the same time by organizing the priority of work.
Professor Dadgar provides an excellent course that helps students make the transition into adulthood and the rest of their academic career. She is very caring and empathetic, and truly wants her students to be successful. This class is extremely inspirational and gave me a will to live. Everyone should take Professor Dadgars PD classes.
class is overall helpful. Every new coming college student should take this class
Does not know how to properly say Procrastinate she forgets the r after the c
Professor Dadgar is a really easy and understanding teacher, little work and not hard at all. Theres a chapter test every week and she offers extra credit to boost your grade.
Very nice and helpful teacher. will sit with you and help you where you need help. this class helped me learn a lot and I would definitely recommend everyone to take this class.
This class overall was not difficult and I would recommend it to others. Professor Dadgar does not dismiss class in time and always makes everyone stay later. I wish she would respect others time. The homework is due every week but it is not difficult and could be finshed in one day.
Professor Dadgars class is definitely a class you should consider taking. This class (PD105) is made to your benefit and its goal is to help you succeed.
Professor Dadgar is such a great professor ! I highly recommend taking her course she gives great lectures and the pd class i took has been very helpful for me. We learned about money management and great things for us to plan our careers to get them started ! Great professor def recommend. She has a book that's required but you download it. :)
This class will not only help you plan and prepare for your future in college, but will also give you insight and a good grasp on your future after college. Its a fun class and you will make a friend from it.
This class has been so beneficial to me. Professor Dadgar is really helpful and positive. Her lectures are great because if you forgot to write something down she provides the PowerPoint on canvas. Overall I would recommend this class to everyone it is a great environment to be in. I really enjoyed this class and urge other to consider this course.
The PD class was really helpful for my first semester at Ohlone College. The professor does give homework but it is usually due at the end of the week, and as long as you complete it you will pass. The class prepares you for the upcoming semesters and even the transfer process. It is really informational and helped me plan for the future.
This teacher is the best at ohlone, she's also a counselor and gives great advice for your success. She guides you in the right way, so there's no need to stress. This class teaches you a lot, in order to further pursue in your education. I would recommend all her PD classes, since they are helpful for earning credits and you won't regret it!
chill teacher and does a bunch of activities in class and watch videos
Dadgar is probably the best professor at Ohlone. She cares for all her students equally and will try to help you get an A.
This professor helps you and makes sure you are getting your work done. Do not be afraid to reach out and ask for help. She wants everyone to succeed in her class to help them have an easier time in college. I recommend taking any of the classes she offers and really getting involved.
She is a great professor and honestly motivated me to do better! Just make sure keep up with the assignments on canvas and attend class.
This class was mostly just discussions assignment and quizzes every chapter. Because the class was only an hour long and once a week, it made classwork and lectures really rushed. I suggest a more efficient way of lecturing students and taking notes.
Professor Dadgar is a very caring teacher. Not only is she doing her job, she is also there to look out for you as a person who is there for you. She is not here to grade us based upon how good we can do an assignment, more like how much we can express our thoughts and creativity. I believe you should take the time to take this class.
Nadia, throughout the first semester you have shown nothing but care towards us students and you have taught me a lot about how to be a better student and person. When taking this course i was in a tough spot but throughout the semester i got to learn a lot about myself and how to look at perspectives in a positive manner.
Professor Dadgar is amazing!! She cares about all of her students and her being a counselor is also beneficial for good info. She takes into account that all students have different learning styles, so I enjoyed how she incorporated videos into her lessons.
PD-113 was a great class with Professor Dadgar. She is a very funny and outgoing person and never fails to encourage us to strive and achieve our goals. There is a quiz, discussion, and one-page write up based on chapters we over in class on canvas each week. This course well-prepares us for our next educational goals and our future in general :)
Loved this class very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone! This class will really help you transition from high school into college. This will also help you learn some life lessions and how to study correctly, and use money wisely and how to create a budget.
Very helpful and its fun to do group work. Helps a lot
She was a good teacher, get the book, you can ask her any concern you have about the class or grades, just read the book for the quizzes and be nice, participate a little and don't procrastinate and check due dates.
Couldnt have asked for a better professor and counselor! Shes so great. Always ask the students if they need more time with homework, and shes so funny! Everyone take HER CLASS !!
Taking PD 113 and 105 with Professor Dadgar in my time at Ohlone has been the best experience! Passed both times with an A+. We have a discussion, assignment, and super short quiz every week which is all online. For the final we watched a movie and had a potluck. She also opened up a really cool meditation room. Definitely RECOMMEND her!
Shes an amazing professor and she definitely helps you prepare for the real world. I wouldnt be the student I am today without her. I definitely recommend if youre looking for something new and useful for the real world.
Best PD prof at Ohlone, she really cares about her students and the assignments are helpful
Professor Dadgar is very caring and values the students and their opinions. She gives amazing lectures, she is very funny and easy to listen too. There is a lot of in class participation with groups of students.
Professor Dadgar and PD 105 is an amazing class to take when you need extra units and are struggling with your major. She is extremely helpful by giving tips and tricks that can help you become successful not only in college but life as well. If you take a hybrid class, dont forget to turn in your work in time. Highly recommend!
I definitely recommend taking this professor. She has an amazing teaching style and is focused on making sure all of her students pass. She makes you feel welcomed and inspires you to get involved.
Professor Nadia Dadgar is easy-going and down-to-earth. Her teaching approach is really straightforward, and she really cares for the well-being of the students. Her PD-105 course is an easy and a simple one. With a little bit of effort, you can get an A easily.
Took this class online due to COVID and really enjoyed it. Lectures are interesting, with some participation required. Prof. Dadgar is very nice, and truly cares about students. The homework each week usually consists of a discussion, a video reflection, a test, and a two-page assignment. If you meet the minimum requirements, you should get an A.
Discussion + Assignment (MLA format 2 pages ---> full credit) + chapter quizzes. (Some answers are from the book!)
Professor Dadgar's class is an easy A. As long as you put in the work and participate, there's no reason why you shouldn't pass. Staying 15mins after class is normal as she isn't really organized in her lectures. Because she is also a guidance counselor, she really pushes getting an SEP which is great for first-year students. She helped me a lot.
Took this as a "late start" course and LOVED IT! Super easy, get the work done (work load is manageable and easy) and you will pass. The professor was easy to contact and was always sweet + straight forward.
Pretty easy class, but Prof. Dadgar is not really accessible outside of class. There are 1 test, 1 discussion post, 1 assigment, and 1 video assignment per week, and 1 final assignment. It is a pretty self-explanatory course, so take it if you are willing to learn on your own.
I took her class online, the class was very easy. Although there were a few little mistakes she made in assignments. And when I emailed her she would take forever to respond. If I ever needed help with an assignment or exam I could not go to her for it because she would barely respond to emails.
I learned PD from Professor Nadia Dadgar last semester it was a great experience She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material Her lessons were engaging and she was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning PD
Lots of assignments. They are easy, but there is a lot.
Super easy class. The only downside is three assignments a week. They're super easy but just inconvenient because it's only a 2 credit class. But I got a 99% in the class so I would recommend for an easy A.
This professor is super nice and caring; no complaints whatsoever there. My advice is to really think about taking a pd course. These courses are only meant to familiarize somebody with basic concepts, study habits, etc. Most of which can be done on your own. While good for credits it would be better to take a requirement if you are able to.
Professor Nadia is Amazing! Not only as a Professor but also as a counselor. I took all of her Personal development classes online and found them very useful as they teach you to improve upon your general life and academic skills. Her assignment instructions are very clear and to the point. She is also forgiving for late work. Definitely recommend!
Professor Dadgar likes helping her students and is very understanding and fair with grading. I took PD113 during the summer and the assignments were easy and you can get them done quickly, just make sure to read the chapters required. There are a few assignments every week so just make sure to stay on top of your work and you'll be fine.
PD105 with Prof. Dadgar is a pretty straightforward class. The workload is manageable, and if you put in the effort, you'll likely get an easy A. I found Unstuckstudy AI to be a helpful tool for preparing for the quizzes.
REALLY EASY CLASS , but won't teach you much but it was a very fun class.
Class was easy and super helpful and helped me decide my career and make my resume, lots of extra credit opportunities for A+
