She is really informative and has a lot of passion for writing. Makes you really think about the content you're writing and makes it fun.

Dr Rodieck's assignments are political in nature, which was a little intimidating at first, because I lean towards the opposite end of the political spectrum, but She grades papers on their merit, not the beliefs behind them. She will challenge you in this class, and it will make you a better writer. I highly recommend any class Dr. Rodieck teaches

Sweet teacher, very personable and easy going. Heavy reading but manageable. The class introduced me to books and films that I would not have watched or read otherwise. The class offered a good mix of content, such as, writing, reading, and discussions which was enjoyable.

I want to say I was scared at first because I took her express class but was fairly manageable.She is a great teacher I highly recommend her she is sweet and loves and cares about you learning. Not to many teacher like that now a days she makes writing very interesting and I learned a lot in this class was very interesting would take her again.

Dr. Rodieck is a great professor. I wish I hadn't enrolled in the accelerated course so that I could have learned more from her! In the little time I had, she truly helped me progress in my college level writing but I did leave the class feeling like I had more to learn. Overall: I’d love to take another class with Nahal!

Best teacher I've ever had! She is so sweet and nice and is always willing to help you! If you go to class, you do some reading and activities, but then you just have to write essays outside of class. She gives you time to work on them in class and helps you or will go over them with you. I got an A in both WRT classes.

Nahal is PERFECT she is so easy and understanding. Her class is also a lot of fun. Easy A for sure!

I took Professor Rodieck's WRT 102 class over the summer. It was the 5 wk format and moved very fast. Nahal is crystal clear on assignments and she makes class extremely fun. My only regret is I didn't take the 16 wk format. I highly recommend her class. Do the work, turn it on time, and getting a good grade is very easy to do. LOVED THIS TEACHER!!

The beginning of the semester she starts off as a tough grader and then eases up. Good teacher and fun. Did not improve my writing because when she grades she does not tell you what you did wrong. Easy A. All your papers will evolve around ethics.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN. Phenomenal teacher & person. Extremely friendly & funny. Lots of in class analysis of short stories. The majority of writing is done in class: some analytical, some creative. Only 4 outside assignments: 2 response packets, 1 article analysis essay, 1 research essay (very big & important). AMAZING class & teacher! Definitely take!

Going into a writing class after not being in college for a while Ms. Rodieck made it simple that if you came to class, did all the work to the best of your ability you'd be able to get a good grade. It may not be an easy A but she still made you work for it. You do have to participate every day that your in class and turn in all assignments.

She's an amazing professor. A little unclear sometimes, but just do the homework and show up, you'll get an A.

I had Rodieck for Writing 101 and she was an absolute sweetheart! Her class was not difficult and I missed a few times, but she was more than understanding and it never affected my grade. She will give you the assignments you miss when you are gone. I didn't learn anything new from her, but I just needed the class for credit.

If you're attending PCC and have to take this course (which most of you do) I highly recommend taking Dr. Rodieck! She's a very intelligent professor and she cares greatly for all of her students. So glad I got have her as a professor, her classes fill very quickly so reserve a seat!

Awesome teacher! Took Dr. Rodieck for both WRT 101 & WRT 102. She is great and really cares about teaching and her students succeeding. I found that I liked the Summer semester class better than the full semester. Overall she is excellent!

She's the greatest teacher ever!! When it comes to writing she focuses on your content the most. Although formatting is a usual must she makes sure that you are actively understanding the readings and that you can create a good response. Rodieck was clear with the assignments, very sweet and understanding and helps with your writing skills.

Nahal is a n outstanding teacher. Her grading rubric is very clear cut and easy to understand. As long as you follow the grading rubric, all of the papers you write will get A's.

I took her for 101, and 102 is essentially the same deal. Follow the rubric and you'll be fine.

Such an amazing professor, she genuinely cares! As long as you keep up with the work, you really can't mess up.

Wasn't sure what to expect in this class. Was pretty confused on some of the assignments but after I visited her during her office hours it was really clear on what I needed to do. Got stuck doing majority of the work on the 2 group project but they weren't too hard. Gives you plenty of time to finish the papers she assigns you so start them early.

Great teacher. She's passionate about her work and if you really try and show interest and focus you'll do just fine. Do the readings, don't half ass the readings.

go to class, get your work done . She gives out multiple assignments at once so be prepared and organized. Pay attention to her feedback on your assignments, it'll help you become a better writer.

She is extremely nice and caring, though there are quite a few papers, which is expected in a writing class. No homework other than the essays, and a majority of work is done in class.

I love how she actually cares about the students. Like if you're struggling, ask her to help you and she will. She is very kind and inspirational in general. Her lectures actually relate to real life. She also elaborates a lot on the stories read in class.

She is a great teacher! She is "Your mother in writing" so she helps out when she can is very laid back. She understands what a student usually goes through. She has helped me out a lot and is always easy to get a hold of. Will take her next class and if you do the work and participate you should be fine!

Dr. Rodieck is an amazing teacher. The stories assigned in her class all revolve around a central theme uses this to relate authors and clarify details in the work. She gives good, constructive feedback and is very welcoming and encouraging. The class itself is a lot of fun and she keeps it engaging.

I took Professor Rodieck for 101,102 and I love her, pretty good teacher, and always there when you need her and have questions, very easy class, it was an easy A, I really recommend her 100% very good teacher.

I was blown away by Nahal, she is an amazing person and teacher, I feel when it comes to writing you have it or you need to be taught, she was the type to only help if you needed it, she was not overbearing and her grading was tough but very fair. I am going to see her again for WRT102 that is a promise.

Nahal is a great and amazing teacher, her class was very fun and not overwhelming like WRT101 surprisingly. A few presentations like a speech and a fun visual essay. The research paper was only 5 pages which was great. I wish I took Nahal for WRT101. TIP: Don't buy the short story textbook, you can get all of the readings free online.

She is definitely a great teacher, very engaging. She is very helpful and does respond to emails and text if you have questions. I am surprised she does not have that many reviews.

I've never been a fan of writing in general, I've always had teachers who would grade pretty harshly in the past so I was nervous for this class in the beginning. She turned out to be the best writing teacher I've had hands down. There was quite a bit of papers we had to do but as long as you follow the guidelines it's an easy A. Would recommend.

She is nice and caring, the class itself and classwork is rather easy and not laid back. You really don't know your grade until the end of the semester, because there isn't a gradebook that she updates. You'll most likely end with a B, if you did exceptional well on the speech and visual project, you'll most likely end with an A.

She is so great! She is so nice and loves all her students. She loves what she teaches and it really shows. All of our papers or projects are interesting and exciting. She really encourages discussion of important issues and lets everyones voice be herd. She is always wiling to help you if you need help.

Dr. Rodiek is a real gem. I had her for 101 and 102 and I would definitely take the classes again. She is super willing to work with you outside of class to help with projects/papers to help get you started. As long as you follow her guidelines for assignments, youll pass. If you want a professor who cares and wants you to succeed, take her class.

Nahal is an angel, show up to class and feel the education, man.

There are a lot of essays but she grades them really easily and you have a few weeks to write them and they are usually worth only 10 points. There are a couple of group projects. She really approachable when you have questions regarding an assignment or an essay. She is one of my favorite English teachers ever.

Dr. Rodieck is an amazing professor. She is totally upfront and lets you know what is expected. Come to class prepared and listen to what she has to say and you will be fine. She is always available to answer your questions. Make sure you go to class and listen and ask questions and you will be fine.

Don't skip you will be confused if you do. As long as you turn in the paper with as many pages as required you get an automatic 100%. SUPER nice lady but she seems lonely though. There are 2 group projects AND NO MAKE UPS ON PRESENTING if you are absent you get an automatic 0% on the whole assignment even if you finished all the work for it.

I loved WRT101 with Dr. Rodieck. She really cares about her students and is accessible outside of class. She gives great feedback and its really easy to be attentive in her class. Attendance is mandatory, but its not difficult to get an A as long as you do all the work. She gives a good amount of time to do each essay.

Nonfiction for first semester and short stories second semester. Discussion questions every week and papers and projects every other. Decent amount of work but if you have good grammar you'll get 100. Very sweet lady. Fair grader, respectful of other opinions and not one of those crazy radicals. Very surprised I actually enjoyed a writing class.

Dr. Nahal was an amazing professor. I took her 8 week course and it was really work heavy and at a fast pace. Lots of essays, lots of discussion assignments, a few pop quizzes - all doable if you really work for it. In total 3 essays, 2 projects (law project and one speech project, must present in class), one final exam and a final essay. Very nice

Professor Rodieck had many different topics of writing we would do and it kept the class interesting and it was actually fun to write. She loves having people write about debatable topics and gives viewpoints from all sides and allows you to choose what to do. In this class put in the effort! It's worth it.

She was a loving teacher very over qualified treats all her students like children in WRT 102 we did have 6+ essays and a speech which I thought was a bit for a 3 credit class but she grades nicely, for attendance you can miss 2 days anymore will have points taken away

Doctor Rodieck is a gem of a human being. She is incredibly kind. She pushes back due dates if the class has a bit too much on their plates. She also encourages students as much as she possibly can. She likes to bring food to class (especially morning classes). She rewards her students, like taking especially hard workers out to lunch We love her

Dr. Rodieck is one of the best educators I've ever had! She is very enthusiastic, and is passionate about her teaching. She will commonly push due dates back if there is a lot of work piling up, and she is very forgiving if work is submitted a few days late. The class was taken in the fall of 2023, She was the best. I hate writing and reading, and attending class wasn't miserable. I have no idea what the negative rating comes from she's a sweet old lady, but who knows now.

I took Writing 101 back in Fall Semester 2023 after a long break from school, and Ms. Rodieck became one of my favorite teachers of all time. She is so nice and caring, and wants everyone to succeed. Whenever I asked her for help on anything, she would gladly help out via email or in person with no issues. Writing essays in her class was easy.

If you already took Ms. Rodieck's WRT101 class and loved it, then you will also love her WRT102 class. I loved taking her WRT101 class and was excited to have her as an instructor again in WRT102. She genuinely cares about all her students and is always willing to help with anything you need. I liked writing all of her essays.
