A wonderful person and excellent teacher. Extremely helpful! She will help you all she can...also works in advising...this wonderful woman motivated me to be a better student. If you have a chance to have her as a professor...shes absolutely wonderful. She likes for you to show up in class, and is hurt if you don't make a good grade.

Tests are pretty easy. She is extremely helpful. Somebody is really lying. Do not trust him or her. attendence is mandatory. Mymathslab is mandatory. Do all the assignments you will be good. Do not listen to anybody . Take her. She is little fast paced though. Nothing wrong taking her class.

I took college algebra with Nahid Pope. Somebody is definitely lying about her. Her class is fast paced but her tests are real easy. She is straight forward but not harsh. I know who is writing bad comments about her. and also know she is blaming Nahid Pope but she did not study at all. Attendence is must. Online homework must. So take her.

She is good. We had fun in her class bcz we did all the online homeworks. We were present in the class all the time. She is real serious about assignments, attendence and online homework. People who did not study they were unhappy and complaining. You close your eyes . Take her because her tests are real easy.

College algebra is itself a tough subject. Tests are piece of cake. If u study otherwise hard. But you will be fine with her. She is a straightforward but good teacher.

We got grades today. Whoever was expecting D they got C. Poeple who expected C they got B . People who expected B got A. So it is prooved She is not a bad teacher at all. Nothing wrong to take her. But college algebra is a hard subject. if u do not study hard do expect somebody to favour u.Miss Pope is great.

I took B in her class. I cannot see anything wrong why u should not take her class. Study hard . Do what she ask u to do for College Algebra . U will be fine . Don't be scared take her class.

i found that class super duper easy...u have to keep up with mymath lab..u wouldnt need the text book...and she will replace some low grades with ur mid term which will be optional..if you are willing at least to read her explanation once a week..ull have an A.

She is very nice and kind and helpful. If you study, and do your mml homework and attend the class, you will have no problem.

A great teacher. Bad comments are from an angry student who didn't work hard and expected a passing grade. This was my second time taking this class. she did a great job explaining things in math. she knows her job. She had her notes online. you could print it and listen to her, didn't have to take notes. Two thumbs up for her.

A hard class but a very good instructor. She is an instructor with a heart. She really cares about her students and wants to help them as much as she can. I have recommended her to everyone. Don't listen to those students who gave bad rating. They were lazy students who wanted to pass without working for it. Take her, you won't regret.

I was so scared of taking this class someone told me to take prof. pope. She was the best math teacher I had. She explained things very clearly and she was very nice and she incourages you all the time. I liked her very much.

I have taken many online classes and I recommend taking prof. Pope. She is patient and encourages you to do well and most of all you don't have to wait 2 or 3 days for her to answer your emil. She emails you fast. Unfortunately she doesn't teach college algebra online. I would have taken her again.

This teacher is very nice and easy. Shes helpful and will do problems over and over. In Dmat she was very flexible and fair with tests times. She will help you outside of class as much as you need and allows retakes on test. very good and easy teacher I will continue to take her math classes.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK and it will change your life! Basically all you really have to do is one section a day and review because she has a quiz at least once a week. I would suggest getting ahead because it helped me understand more when she taught. She gives extra credit when you answer a question or catch her mistakes. You get the grade you deserve!!!!

This instructor is awesome. She gives many examples until it becomes crystal clear. She is nice, Kind and funny. I enjoyed her class very much and I learned a lot. I recommend her.

You cannot get a better math professor. She gives tons of extra credit, she helps in any and every way she can. If you're looking for an A or at the very least a very easy B then take her. She's so understanding and gives you second attempts on tests if she sees that you really are trying. You will not regret taking her!

Mrs Pope is extremely nice. If you pay attention, read/take notes from textbook, and keep open communication with her (via email - she is good at returning emails). If you are having difficulties at any time talk to her. She will help you.

I enjoyed Ms. Pope's class. She is the best math teacher I have had since high school. She goes over everything a few times to make sure you understand it. Nahid Pope is an amazing person! She is a fantastic teacher and explains the concepts very well. She has to cover certain material so if you fall behind expect to goto the math lab. Mrs. Pope is probably one of the best math instructors ive had at northlake. She was always helpful and gives you plenty of ways to get high grades. Have to show up to class, but the class is fun and for someone who hates math, it was surprisingly not boring. Definitely recommend her to anyone needing a math credit. Shes sweet and always helpful.

I took this course in spring. I am a nursing student and I needed this course. Mrs. Pope is a great instructor. She explains everything very clearly, goes over it a few time and gives many examples. She is patient and answer your questions very kindly. I liked her very much.

Professor Pope is a very interesting teacher. She explains everything and will clarify anything if you're not understanding it. She give extra credit pretty consistently, and will work with you if you need more help. Tests aren't bad when you do your homework and mastery tests beforehand. Pros: Incredibly easy class. All it takes is to do all the homework she assigns and you will be ready for tests. She is very nice and makes sure that students understand the concepts she teaches us. Cons: There is a lot of homework. She went slow in the beginning and crammed at the end a little which was inconvenient. Sometimes tough to understand.

I took Mrs. Pope for algebra and statistics. She is the best. she goes over everything a lot and give examples and give you similar problems to do in class. She is always available to meet with you and answer your questions. She is funny and cares for her students. Take her and go to class and do your homework. You will love her.

The best math professor I ever had. Business Calc 1325. She does a very good job of teaching the material. MyLabsPlus was a large portion of your grade. Must get MyLabsPlus. Expect to fill up an entire notebook by the end of the semester. Tests are exactly like the Mastery Tests taken in Testing Center. She really cares about you and you can tell.

Ms. Pope was amazing at explaining everything and very accessible and easy to talk to. She's always willing to help you and if you ever need help she'll always be there for you. The tests are pretty easy and the homework load is manageable. The homework is really good practice too, but beware of daily quizzes in her college algebra class.

Took her for Business Calculus, this class is not easy, but Professor Pope will do whatever she can to help you pass. If you go to her office she will help you understand the math and pass the test, she also gives lots of extra credit if you do the homework on time.

Mrs. Pope is a lovely person and a relatively good teacher. She works with students well, and clearly enjoys teaching math. Here is some advice: do not talk in class or mess around! She is not mean or anything, but she definitely graded others better who are quiet and eager to learn.

Professor Pope has some of the best lectures in college algebra 1314. She has her notes ready to go and hits it like bullet points with build up examples on the board. We usually have daily quizzes but only for her to see how the class understood the previous topic. Homework is not mandatory, but she takes quiz and test questions from mylabsplus

She very clearly goes over all material and you clearly know what will be on the tests before you take them. She goes out of her way to help students succeed, far beyond what is required or even expected.

She is the best Professor i have ever met. I hated math since i was 5. This Professor made me love math more than anything. Never miss a class or mess around in class. She doesn't like anyone talking in class or meddling with phone. She gives a lot of bonus points for class participation and doing homework. Getting A is not impossible if you listen

Best professor. People who give negative ratings are either lazy or stupid. she is the best. Matheffort. You cant expect A without efforts. Just studying one hour a day or three hours a week will guarantee A.

Sweetest teacher I ever had. VERY generous on extra points on quizzes and exams. Quiz every class but 70 points were for attendance alone and 30 points for 3 questions. Quizzes were easy and based off of the previous class. A lot of homework but unlimited retries and few questions. She cares about you and wants you to pass. Cutest European accent.

She is one of my best professors ever. Math is not easy, however she makes it easier by giving real life experiences related to maths. I took her 1325 at NLC, and today I am at UNT; Because of her class, my Finance 3770 is so easy based on simple basics she provided. Always available outside theclass, and wants students to get A. I had her for stats, the 8 week course, and she goes really fast but the work is easy. The class does require the 130 dollar access code. She gives a quiz every class but they're from the previous class and they're really easy, regardless, you'll still pass them. She gives out a test every 2 weeks and she gives a review as well.

Amazing professor. You have to buy the access code to do HW and quizes which you get 3 attempts with explanation and practice so you can get 100. 4 tests but she gives you reviews. If you practice the reviews and learn exactly how to do it, youll get an A.

Had Professor Pope during the COVID pandemic for 1325, so I didn't get to be in actual class, but it didn't even matter. She was awesome in our video classroom setting, great at her lectures and gives great feed back and loves when you asks questions. Super caring but you must work hard, not an easy class. Best Math professor i've ever had.

I had Professor Pope for the first summer session during Covid-19 and she was AMAZING. Answered emails super fast and would answer any questions you had during lectures. Her tests were reasonable, and the homework was really nice because it gave you examples worked out for every problem. Highly recommend her- she made math in the summer easy!

Professor Pope is good overall. I took her online stats class and it was challenging. The lectures didn't help but the my lab examples did. She answers emails very quick so communication is really good.. I wouldn't take her again though, exams are worth your entire grade basically so if you aren't a good test taker like me, avoid this professor!

Absolute gem of a professor. I wish every professor was like her honestly! She is so caring and sweet. I dont know what the negative reviews are for. This professor was amazing. She is very understanding of any situation and will gladly help you if you need any help for the material. I’m not great at math which is why I got a C+ in the course but Professor Pope was amazing in lectures and makes the material very easy to understand. Lots of homework and reviews to help with quizzes and exams.

this class wasn't as bad as you think. yes I know it's a math class but it's pretty simple. the class is very tests-heavy and there are no mid-term or finals just 4 tests and quizzes and ofc homework. there are many ways in making the class easy and one of them not watching the videos Pearson gives it. it really makes it harder and a waste of time.
