She is absolutely my favourite professor. She is very patient and helpful.

I have taken 4 courses with this professor starting MTH 3, 4, 151 and 152. I would like to take more classes with her. I never found anyone more helpful than her. She is demanding and makes sure that we learn it well. She goes way and beyond her duties to help when she sees a student is working hard. She is a very good teacher.

I like her teaching. She is extreamly patient and give individual attention to students. I did not think that I would pass this course, but I finish the class with a "B". I am very happy.

She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. What I liked about her is that she is very organized and not all over the place. She shows us how to do the same problems in different ways.

Professor Sultana is very understanding and cooperative to those who put forth forth a genuine effort in learning. She is extreamly patient and a very pleasant instructor. We love you Professor Sultana. Please keep on teaching!! We need you!!

Although some people say that they don't like this professor, i'd still say that she is one of my favorite teachers... yeah she is challenging but in a helpful way. I'd recommend taking her! As long as you do you homework and go to class you'll do fine!

Great teacher. Breaks everything down into simpler terms. Attendance is highly recommended. She doesn't like students talking during class. She moves somewhat quickly over hw problems. Tests are average.

I disagree with the comments that the previous rater posted. I just finished taking a class with Professor Sultana in the Spring. She is awesome. She works through plenty of problems in class and always answers questions clearly. Some students sign up for this class without finishing the prerequisite. She advise them to take the right course.

Professor Sultana is a wonderful instructor. Most importantly she is extremely knowledgable regarding Arithmatics. Furthermore, attend classes only if you choose to learn and better yourself in life. Knowledge is power and the concept that distinguishes individuals from others.I would highly recommand this teacher if you care to learn MTH concepts

I am taking MTH 151 class with Professor Sultana. I really like the way she teaches. Her tests are hard but fair. If you study, then you will do just fine. I recommend Professor Sultana.

She is a good teacher and does give a lot of notes which should be copied and those notes pull you through the course. If you stay focused and are punctual in your assignments then you can easily pass this course with 'A'.

I just finished taking MTH 151 class from this Professor with an A. I completely disagree with the comment prior to this one. She is one of the best teachers I have had. Her tests are fair. If you take good notes, then you should be fine. Math is not one of my favorite subjects. I was pleasantly surprised by my grade and how much I learned.

Awesome teacher. Very knowledgeable. I like the way she teaches. I learned a lot from her class. I hate math, but the way she taught me, it wasn't bad at all. This is the first time I got an A in Math. Great feelings! We appreciate what you do for us. Keep on teaching! :)

I have had Professor Sultana for three semesters straight! She is the GREATEST professor in Northern Virginia Community College. Always willing to help you, tests are straight out of the lecture notes and like the homework problems. She's really nice, all you have to do is put some effort. She really is one of a kind. Math is fun with her!

This is one of the best professors I have ever had (if not the best). She knows what she is talking about, is clear, concise, fair, and takes great interest in how each of her students performs. If you can take one of her classes. Don't listen to any negative comments, she is great!

Professor Sultana is great! I did not like her in the begining, but by the end loved her and want to take another with her again. All you have to do is pay attention and do the homework and you will pass. The testes are not too hard as long as you study ( that means doing your homeowrk).

Really nice teacher. She grades fair and answers questions thoroughly. Tests are pretty hard, but the homework and quizzes will pull your grade up. I think she's one of the few good math teachers. I highly recommend her.

I love how Mrs.Sultana teaches. Math was my most feared subjects, but she is so good at explaining it, and very helpful too. Test is was not hard at all. I just finished taking MTH 151 with Professor Sultana. She is one of the most patient teachers I have seen. She goes beyond her way to help students. I have a fear of Math. But she made it very easy for me. She always answered questions and sometimes explained things multiple times if needed. she was very kind to students.

Professor Sultana is wonderful. I'm very bad with math and I got a B in her class. She explains the subject very well and listens. She really concerns about her students success. Overall a really good math class. I do not enjoy math at all, but Professor Sultana is a very quality teacher that shows she cares. Very rare in math teachers.

I honestly thought she was the best math professor I've ever had. She has a very clear schedule and finishes all of her lectures in a timely manner. She really walks you through every little thing in each lesson so you can do well in the class.

I thought she was great! She was usually late to class, but she's a contractor and works in DC. She gives only a few tests and drops the lowest grade. The final only had 15 questions, which I was thankful for. Some people can't stand her, but as always, we all have our preferences and our needs are met in different ways. I would take her again.

I found this professor pretty fair in terms of the work expected. A clear expectation was provided at the beginning of the semester. If a student does not want to study and spend time outside the class, this teacher is not you. I wad there to learn and it worked for me.

She will go over something if you dont understand it. But you really have to make the effort to study outside of class time to pass.

I took this online, so some lectures did feel long, but they were never anything too bad. She responds to emails quickly, and almost all of the work is graded automatically, so you never have to wait for a grade. Just read the textbook and do the homework and you'll be fine. If you put in the effort, she's very helpful and willing to work with you.

Listen, if I can pass the class I have been dreading to take my entire time at NOVA because I absolutely HATE MATH it makes me feel so dumb but I managed to take it in a summer 7-week course and PASS?? It says a lot. This professor is great at helping her students pass rather than fail. Really accommodating to the whole class

I have to admit that she sometimes did act in a rude manner, but she really did truly care for her students and only wanted them to get a good grade. These ratings are all so bad because these people are mad that they failed. She will r teach you what you need to know to pass the class. we used ALEKS, it was reading intensive especially if you're a heavy notetaker, however its all managable, she really does want to see you pass and cares she gave us the opportunity for extra credit and listened to feedback regarding how heavy some of the stuff was and move the dates forward to give us time to do it, very reasonable professor
