Very very good teacher, she is so smart and is one of the nicest and forgiving and helpful math teachers I have ever had. She is new to HFCC but has been teaching for a long time look her up at Wayne State University and Lawrence Tech University. All good ratings none bad. Don't buy solutions manual she is there early to help. Take her!!!!!!!!!!

She is very helpful. She goes out of her way to help students. She fully realizes that most students will have trouble with math topics at one point or another. She re-explains topics without getting upset. She really tries to help you to get a good grade if she sees that you're trying in her class. She gives great notes too.

How can a Calculus teacher be so nice? After every exam she gives out an opportunity to earn 15 bonus points. She explains crystal clear. Calculus is horrible but when its taught by Haidar its not that bad. If you want an A, take her. If you want a B, take Seavitt or Chidambarram. If you want a C, take John or Barnett. I'm getting an A. :)

If you have an opportunity to take Calculus with Mrs. Haidar do not hesitate to do so! She is literally the best professor you will ever come across. The subject is difficult but she makes it so understandable that it becomes interesting. Don't you dare take it with anyone else. Her notes will become a big part of your life, so take them well!

Mrs Haidar is truly the best math teacher. I took precalc with her in the spring and wow she goes extremely fast. However, she really cares about her students and puts her best effort in helping her students succeed. A lot of work is needed to get an A in her class. Daily online hw is a pain but the 8 points extra cr after each test helps a bit

Mrs. Haidar is the absolute best! I struggled in math 080 and I did extremely well in her 110 class! She helped so much and drops 5 homework grades and 1 quiz grade! Take her!

Wow is all I can say! I was lucky enough to have her as my math teacher. If you don't know anything in math you will end up knowing so much because of Mrs. Haidar. She is the BEST teacher out there!! Mrs. Haidar is agreat teacher. She always tells you what the test is on and she gives extra credit when she feels the class needs it. Her office is always open. I took her for Calculus 2 and she was very helpfull in explaining everything. Her grading is also very fair. I recomend her to everyone!

Mrs. Haidar is passionate and also extremely caring. She always has office hours for help and she really does want everyone to pass. She gives great explanation over every section, but she does go fast. She gives plenty of examples and drops the 3 lowest quiz grades.

Mrs. Haidar is a great teacher but she doesn't mess around. If you don't put your answer the way she wants it, she'll minus points. Shes really nice and helpful though and if you go to her office shes more than willing to help you one one one. 10 quizzes and 4 tests. 14 weeks in a semester, you do the math. a lot of work but possible to get an A.

Her final won't help you it usually drops ur grade by 10 percent. Also when your close to another grade you would have to tell her a good story why you couldn't get that grade or she won't help you

Mrs. Haidar cares so much about her students. She was always available during office hours and even had review sessions before every test in order to give us extra help. Math is my least favorite subject and Mrs. Haidar would always encourage me to believe in myself. If you want to learn take her she will dedicate her time and energy to help you.

Mrs. Haidar Knows her math better than anyone i know. 3 Math degrees. Shes very very very helpful, she will tutor you whenever you need it. Her quizes are very similiar to what we do in class. Her tests arent hard. 10 quizzes (2 dropped) and 4 tests. 2 of the 10 quizes are online. Calc is not easy, must pay attention class is at a fast pace.

Best math teacher ever! I have always had a problem, but Mrs. Haidar goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. She forms study groups, you can always get help during her office hours or catch her in the learning lab. I would never take anyone else for math. Lots of homework, but practice makes perfect.

BEST-CLASS-EVER. She is really helpful. She always does this review sessions that anyone can attend. Just study the notes that you copy down from the board and do your math lab(there is always one question from my math lab) and you should be fine. I scored an A+ easily, of course thanks to her.

Best math teacher I've ever had. I was horrible at math all through high school. Even though I had a hard time in this class, she helped a lot. She encourages you to come to her office when you are lost or don't understand. If you get anything lower than a B it's your own fault. These negative reviews must be from apathetic high school kids.

SHE GIVES A LOT OF HOMEWORK, TEST AND QUIZ EVERY WEEK. IT BECOMES TOO MUCH WHEN YOU ARE A FULL TIME STUDENT. Great teacher, quick pace at the end of semester though. 10 quizzes 4 exams, and a good amount of material to cover. Always there for you when you need it, great personality, and a great professor. Good teacher, she has 5 tests and 10 quizzes, expect a lot of online homeworks and book homeworks also. Her tests are logical and all the staff is discussed in class. Well, this class needs a lot of work to do, but if you do your homework and don't miss lectures you'll be okay. Also she helps us in office hours where we used to have group study.

Amazing teacher. We had a small quiz every Friday and she was always very clear on what is going to be on it. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. MyMathLab due date is always reasonable and she will push the date if necessary. Her notes are amazing, clear and to the point. Lovesss questions and lots of office hours! Best teacher!!!

Mrs. Haidar is literally my favorite professor. She goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material. She is willing to meet before or after class to help you with anything you need. Professor Haidar is a very kind, respectful, understanding instructor, however she leads a difficult class. I took her for Calculus 3 and i had a 60% most of the semester. I really buckled down and worked harder than I've had to before and ended up with a 82%. I will parrot what most of her reviews say; work hard, and you will succeed.

She is a good professor, she helps out a lot during the semester. At the end she rushed everything in real quick. Tries to help you and is accessible out of class. The class is hard and you do need to pay attention. This is college so start studying and don't play around in her class

Mrs. Haidar is my favorite professor of al time and I think regardless that will never change, she really inspired me to try harder and gave me the motivation to continue with the semester, she has true potential at being a professor, I am sure most people can agree that she is an amazing soul in general.

If you have to take any math classes online your best bet is with Mrs. Haidar she is literally so AMAZING. She is caring and takes the time to work with you if you have any problems, literally the most sweetest teacher ever. Unlike most teachers, she will do everything in her power to help students. She teaches the class correctly and teaches tricks so it's easier to process the lessons. She is by far the only teacher I've had that truly cares about her students and wants what's best for everyone. I hate math, but she helped me love it. I still hate fractions.

Mrs. Haidar is incredibly helpful. She really wants everyone to succeed and does as much as she possibly can to achieve that. She is always available for office hours and can explain things in multiple ways. Put in enough of your own effort and she will do the same. This class is pretty tough so keep up on the homework and you should be good.

Professor Nahla is very nice. For every test, she posts a practice questions on Webassign, and she gives same questions on the test, so if you master the practice questions she posts (about 30 for each test; not graded), you can get a 100. Wasn't expected to be that easy. One thing is that she is a tough grader, but overall, easy A+ :)

Professor Haidar is a very good professor, but Calculus 3 is not an easy class; it requires time. She gives a quiz every week and four exams during the semester. She is a tough grader, but she will provide a practice exam beforehand, and she will include the same questions on the actual exam. So, if you study, you will pass her class. Easy A.
