She is the greatest teacher alive!!!

Dr. Zukic demands a lot and gives hard exams but I learned a lot. She cares about her students' learninig, and I can't say that about many of my Professors. I can't wait to take her Media Studies class.

She's the best professor ever! There's much work but you'll learn a lot. The exams are not very hard, but the speeches require much preparation. The professor is young, beautiful (esp.eyes:),and very funny. The class is really enjoyable, the professor is always there to help you. Take her, you'll never regret!

She is great & cool. The class was easy to me bcs she tells u what u need to know. Just listen to her & do what she says. No tricks. Must be always prepared for the classes if you want to get an A. No cheating. She will kick you out for that. And be respectful because it is a speech class. I enjoyed it so much.

Yes Prof. Zukic kicked out a dude for cheating in our class too. She was so red in her face and probably scared (the dude was huge) but she kicked him out. She's chill othewise. And funny. The exams are hard, and homework and readings are tedious. She'll help you but you must work work.

The most caring Prof. I studied with at the College. Strict but helpful, if you have your act together and take school and class seriously.

she is a very good teacher. her grading is quiet hard and when she wants you to do a speech between 5-7 minutes u better be in that time range. you shouldnt miss any speeches it will affect your grade. her test are quiet hard but my final was a take home. other than that i enjoy her class..couldnt ask for a better professor

Be sure to put time and effort into your speeches, and you should do well. Practice, practice, practice! It really helps. Exams are straightforward and easy if you read the textbook well.

Dr. Zukic teaches Critical Media Studies and psychoanalysis!!!!!!!! She is heavy on theory, but will break it down for you. Writes strong letters of recommendation if you do well in class. I'm off to NYU next Fall. She pushed me (in a good way).

Professor Zukic is a really great teacher. If you will be ok to her she will be to you. Make sure you put effort into your speeches. She will give you an A but before that you have to prove that you deserve it. This professor is not for lazy students.I loved her class.

She is amazing. I went from dropping speech twice because of my nerves to doing really well in this class. She is great commands respect but is so friendly you just want to do good to show her you can do it lol....anyway you can share textbooks and she gives you good feedback.Dont take it if your constantly texting or going to the bathroom.

Prof. Z is a great teacher. I took her for a summer class and while she was very demanding with her work (This is college) she was also very helpful every step of the way, you have to work for your grade, be on time and turn of your cell phones in class. Definitely recommended

I took her 4 speech 100 durin summer 2. She is a great teacher with even greater teaching methods. She gives her students the environment and confidence to overcome their fear of public speaking. The assignments were fair and easy if you are willing to put in the effort. i highly recommend taking speech 100 with her, u will have a great experience!

Ok so you people say she was great i guess she was at that time this semester spring 2012 she was rude and mean to students she would close the door on the dot ..too bad for those who were late and if yu were lucky to be let in she would embarrase yu infront of everone but overall she was good MAKE SURE TO DO EVERY ASSIGNMENT and READ the chapters

She will give all the resources to pass the class.The rest is up to you.She very intelligent and confident.I would recommend her if you like to learn something!

Laerned a lot from Dr. Zukic. hard class if you skip on readings. come to class because she'll take off points if you are late or absent. and if she sees you texting you'll lose participation points. she's funny. just don't text in class.

She's insightful and passionate. She practices activism through her own research and performance art in her personal life and it's as if she treats her classes the same way. She truly believes that she can make her students into active members of society who challenge ourselves and others. I believe in her think that she achieves this.

Great professor, however a very tough grader. It would help if she was clearer on what she wants you to do to get the best grade instead of an average grade which most of my colleagues received.

Professor Zukic is an amazing professor, and is very intelligent. She will work with you, and encourage you to be a great speaker. Everything is in the syllabus, her book cost me $4.00 on amazon. You will not regret taking her class unless you are lazy and full of excuses to not work

She was one of my best professors I have ever have. She is really friendly and close to us. There are many speeches that give you the chance to improve your public speaking skill

Professor Zukic is one of the most passionate professors at BMCC! When you show effort as a student she definitely recognizes and appreciates all of your potential! Her assignments and tests aren't easy, but if you apply yourself you are sure to do well and she will notice your effort! I loved her, very sweet, caring and smart professor!

Prof. Zukic is amazing! She is fair and rewards hard work. She just wants to see you trying. She made what was an 8am class fun. Highly recommended.

Professor Zukic was so sweet and truly loves what she does! She is amazing and you will learn a lot from her. Her mass media class opens your eyes to so much you were blind to before! I highly recommend her and you MUST read and her tests are NO JOKE !!

Zukic is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject she teaches. She provides real life examples to make abstract theoretical concepts more understandable. She's super sweet and personable but make no mistake- your textbook for this class should become your new best friend if you don't want to fail the tests she makes.

Professor Zukic is a cool teacher. Do what she said in the class, you will be fine. But, if you want to get an A grade, you need to show your hard work.

Follow what she said and your speech will improve from 01% to 99% . I was afraid and nervous before a speech. However, Thanks to her, my speeches are better than the first time I did in her class. Remember to write down your notes in her class and the key is practice ! . Use your own tools, such as, your camera and film yourself when you practice

I took Prof. Zukic Spring of 2013. She is pretty good speech professor. She's nice and sincere and can really help you out with outlining your speeches. I would recommend her. Try to pick interesting and unique topics for your speeches. She dislikes the same type of speeches on: abortion, euthanasia, & female genital mutilation. Take her and pass.

Read assigned texts and articles carefully. There is a lot of heavy theory in her teaching but she takes the time to explain the difficult language. She is a tough grader. Go to her office hours. She is more approachable and gives you additional time if you need clarification. Don't miss class and dont be late or she may mark you absent. She's ok

Professor Zukic takes her job very seriously. She teaches with intentions of creating leaders. She is amazing and by the book, she is also flexible and strives to help her students become better public speakers. Very professional, well educated, and doesn't take any bs.

Prof. zukic is amazing. she really cares about her students and loves what she does. she has a very clear grading policy, and getting an A in class is easy if you show up to class everyday on time, and you do your work. Her are not always hard, but some takes time to do, which she gives you enough time to complete your work.

My confident level was very low before this class, she helped my boost it up. She's amazing. you are never scared to give a speech in front of her class. she gives you confidence to go up, and gives back feedback about your speech.

Took her mass media course during a summer class, which meant very little time, but she's funny, easy going, relatable, and caring, which made the class very enjoyable. I only regret that it was a summer course, so we were on the clock. I recommend her if you're taking Mass media.

She is a serious professor, and Mass Media is not an easy subject to understand. However, She is very understanding and open person, she helped me to recover my self confidence for final speech and encouraged me to study better. Such a great professor. Gives great feedback on the speeches. We had 5 speeches to do. I am glad I take her class. Just do your work and try your best and she will pass you.

Professor Zukic is a tough grader, but fair. She is super caring, but reminds us that grades are ours to earn, not hers to give. I earned a solid B this semester. Work hard from the beginning of the semester and don't skip class and you will do ok. Don't be late to class, you will lose points .

Professor Zukic makes you work for your grade, but she is one of the easiest professors that I have had. She grades you solely on your speeches and your participation. The only bad thing is if you are late, you will loose points but it is very easy to gain it back of you ace the speeches. I would love to take her again in the near future!

If your goal is to really learn, this is your Professor. She knows her field best, and her feedback are really inspirational

This is the best professor so far I have met. She is an expert in her field, and those people who complain about her is because they didn't do the work. She gives you very specific directions of how to get your work done, do this and you'll get an A. Oh, and don't be late!

Dr. Zukic is there to help you. You can ask her questions if you need help. Pay attention to what she asks of you, (follow the structures of the speech), read when you are supposed to and simply practice! She makes everyone feel SUPER comfortable to stand up and deliver a speech. Great/specific feedback. Class is not hard, I promise. Take her :)

the hardest class I have taken at bmcc, but dr. zukic will sit with you long after the class is over, answer your questions and help you understand the theory. go to her office hours to get clarification on class concepts. the book is dense. she's also funny.

She expects you to give your best and she will help you with whatever you need. Be professional, respectful and show up. You have 3 or 4 speeches throughout the semester and some papers that will be graded. She's caring and prepares her students to professional life. Would def take her again.

Dr. Zukic is a knowledgeable and endearing. She creates a good learning environment and supports, encourages classmates to support each-other. She's honest and straightforward, sometimes blunt, but more often attentive and caring. If you have decent attendance and do the work according to the assignment you'll pass. It's not that hard. Trust me.

Dr. Zukic is a true college professor. She is not here to coddle you but prepare you for the real world. Do what she asks and you will get a A. Don't come late, don't be rude. Be clear and concise and speak with belief in your own words. The work is not bad 3-4 speeches and 2 papers. I know it's scary but if you listen to her it's less frightening.

She doesn't like to be challenged. She is some what of a bully if you challenge her about you grade. She is a hard grader but overall she is a good teacher

Good Professor. Interesting Class. She is a tough grader and be prepared to write a 10- 15 pages at the end of the semester. Do the work and particpate and you will get a good grade.

I have already taken two courses with Dr. Zukic, and I affirm that she is a gift to BMCC. The best teacher I've ever had in my life, I took her intercultural relationship and mass media classes. Her classes are not easy, and it requires a lot of commitment and dedication, but it really prepares you to follow an academic life.

I initially took this class for requirement purposes but Professor Z really chose challenging readings. The weekly writings and readings helped open my mind to many elements in the media. I was able to hold conversations about the difference between sexism and feminism which blew my mind. She's flexible with time and able to help and support you.

She always gave helpful feedback and was always there if I needed help. We had to do a lot of writing and if it wasn't for her clear instructions it definitely would've been tougher.

Took it Fall 2021 & it's asynchronous, she graded very fairly and according to the rubric so FOLLOW IT because that is how you pass. She will help you so ASK if u are confused. There is a lot of writing, DB every week, 2 exam & a 15 page paper at the end which is easy if you follow the outline. I did not buy the textbook I downloaded it in pdf.

The readings are challenging but she will explain and clarify until you understand. She doesn't take attendance. She leaves it up to the students to decide how much participation they want. Fair grader. Eye opening course.

You get out what you put in. Get ready to work.

I took 3 classes with Zukic and this one was the hardest. Come to office hours and ask questions. She helps you but you must be prepared to work. She writes strong recommendation letters (for NYU) if you do well.

I love her she is nice. But a little tough grader but all over she's nice you just have to be extra careful with your work cause she doesn't accept any resubmitted work or any extra credits. No late work.

Prof Zukic is patient and will help you understand difficult material but you must participate. I asked questions and meeting times and she was patient and answered my questions and motivated me to keep going. Zukic is strict but she helps you.

The professor is knowledgeable but can be strict on deadlines and political leanings. Engage with the material, use office hours, and leverage resources like Unstuck ai to succeed. It's a challenging course, but doable if you put in the work.

Not the easiest class. Readings are hard but she will help. Whenever I asked to meet and talk Zukic met me and explained whatever questions. Just take initiative and wantto learn. She's ok and chill. And she don't care if you don't.

Dr. Sukic is an amazing professor! She provides very clear guidelines for every assignment + very good feedback. The content in the book itself was easy to follow and relevant, especially since living in NYC we already interact with people of many backgrounds.I recommend anybody needing a writing intensive to give this one a shot, fav class so far.

Took Zukic for three classes this semester, intercultural, media, and gender. Love her. Strict with the deadlines, but talk to her ahead of the time and she is reasonable. She will make you rewrite anything AI written. Or she says she's disappointed and won't bother with rewrites or grading you down because we cheat ourselves in the end. Ouch.
