A wonderful teacher; very helpful. I definitely recommend her. Tests and practicals are very easy and straightforward, plus it's VERY easy to get an A in her class, as long as you go to class or keep up with the work

Super easy "A" Tests are straight forward. She gives lots of free days to "practice" so you don't even need to go. You really don't need to buy the textbook. I didn't use it once and I'm not that good with computers to begin with.

This class is so easy that there is no point going to class; just study the questions she hands out once in a while and you can an A. No need to study for the final as anyone with a bit of computer knowledge can do it.

Many are commenting , that this course is super easy. I disagree - perhaps , super easy for one already versed in Office software applications. Great course to take, to develop a working knowledge of this software. Do the work and you will do well.

This is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Just Listen to what she says in class and you'll get an easy A.

Great prof, super nice! Very understanding for people who need to move tests (especially during reading break!). We arranged to move a midterm AND a quiz when I explained I wanted to go away. Ridiculously easy for people that already know how to use Microsoft Office!!

Most helpful, patient, and passionate teacher by far. Also the nicest teacher and hot too. Easy to follow lectures and notes lead to great assignments and easy exams. She makes an easy course ten times easier, and that's what other teachers should do: make students feel at ease.

Well she is very nice and all but the corse is just so dull. I totaly understand the importance of computer knowledge and all but is it actaully useful to spend a week or two learning how to use Word? And comeon how many people actually don't know what the X button in the top right corner means????

Great prof. Its an introductory course so its VERY easy. Barely had to *study* at all. The text is useless, YOU DONT NEED IT. Just don't skip class and you'll get an A FOR SURE. Its that easy. Nice lady, will not put you to sleep. Hands-on interactive class =)

awesome teacher helpfull and makes class easy enough for beginners to understand but still a few tricks even the pros find helpful. however bring ur book and notes to the tests... it will help! (open book tests)

She teaches like every one is a beginner to microsoft, which is good because there won't be pressure if you are having difficulty with it) I personally think that attending her classes are mandatory because notes are essential for her tests~ (open notes) no pressure and you learn the stuff!! HIGHLY RECOMMANDED!!

Dont buy the book.She's very helpful. I love her tests but hate her theory exam (MC) because some of it she didn't discuss in class like blackhat, whitehat, script kiddie, etc but it's open book and you can just google your way through the 150 mc exam (can be time consuming. basic word, ppt, excel, access. you dont have to go to class

I got an A without looking at a single page of the book. Her notes are very helpful. You pretty much learn everything in class and dont even need to study

When the semester first started, i thought this class was a joke but it did get harder throught the term. At times the prof is a little crazy and expects you to do a mid term that would normally take you a couple hours in 1.5hrs. So its not that challenging but it has its moments. She tries hard and it helps to pas the time.

She was an excellent teacher. Very helpful and accomidating! I would take anything else she teaches. She is passionate about making her students successful.

She is helpful and her instructions are very clear. This course did get a little bit hard but if you take all her notes and practice a few questions, you will get high mark. Remember to TAKE NOTES!!!

BCAP 1200 is not that hard for anyone with a little computer experience and Naila is a great teacher. She does lots of examples and is extremely clear with her teaching methods.

She's a great teacher and is pretty funny. I didn't buy the textbook and still managed to do well because I'm familiar with word, excel and powerpoint. Just make sure you take notes and go to every class. You really have to pay attention and keep up. Do all the exams and quizzes and you will be fine.

Naila is one of the best profs I have ever had. She is clear in what she expects and her tests reflect that. Pay attention, ask questions if you don't understand. An easy A if you're familiar with ms office. If not, don't worry because Naila explains things clearly and is more than happy to help if you need it. I wish she taught other classes.

So basically the course itself is super-duper easy. However, you need to attend "ALL" lectures and listen what she says. What she shows you from the lectures is how you solve your midterms. Overall, I would take her course again if she teaches upper-level BCAP courses. The only bad thing for the course is it does not have transfer credits to UBC

TAKE HER CLASS! It'll be a great experience. She is an instructor who is very passionate about her job and encourages her students to succeed.

Naila is a great instructor - firm but fair, and extremely clear on her expectations. Lectures are very fast paced, so take plenty of notes and pictures as all of the tests are based on the information covered in class. I thought I already knew a lot about Microsoft office, but I learned so many useful new tricks during this class.

She's VERY prepared with her visual notes, is always willing to listen to you no matter how dumb a question is, and always makes you feel more intelligent than you would normally feel in an IT course, especially if it's not your background. NO QUESTIONS, if you have BCAP and have several profs to choose from don't even think about someone else.

Naila is the nicest prof! Attendence is important because if you don't understand how to use the program, you won't pass. Her tests are really easy and if you pay attention it is an easy A. Her notes are very detailed and she goes into detail on everything. Would definetely take her class again!!

Amazing professor. She really goes into detail about ambiguous materials, and her BCAP exams are open book. Make sure you take pictures of her cards in class, she lets you use them on the exams!

BEST TEACHER EVER. She's so nice and always prepared. Her fashion sense is pretty fab as well. If you need help, she'll be there for you. Classes are fun and engaging!

She is amazingly helpful if you don't understand something she will come over to you and help you figure it out one on one. She takes things slow and has you go over it a few times, it gets a bit boring but it really sticks with you when the test comes around.

I loved her lecture. I took a morning class so it was pretty tough but she was so energetic and fun to keep me from sleeping. I learned many useful skills in this class. I recommend to take this class for your first term.

The nature of BCAP is supposedly boring but Naila, being the fun person she is, makes the course super enjoyable. She has such an amazing teaching style that even seniors could learn basic computer skills from her. Quizzes are easy. Tests are open internet, but be warned that most answers are not on Google.

Naila is an incredible teacher and you should have no trouble getting a good grade. People that might find it slightly challenging include people who have little to no knowledge about computers or only used a Mac OS (since the entire course is Microsoft based). Other than that, the course is an easy GPA booster.

Clear lectures and there are tons of ways to boost your marks up with easy, online homework. Her classes are funny and she's very energetic. The exams are also super simple and straight forward.

Naila is a really great teacher especially if it is your first year college. Her bcap class is extremely easy while teaching you everything you need to know about Microsoft Office and the concepts of a computer. She's also super nice and smart, also I think legitimately crazy haha.

She's a lovely person. I thought the class was "too easy" and skipped a lot which has affected my mark so I'm disappointed in myself for that. There's a lot of homework readings you have to do everyday. The midterms are easy action-wise, but not the multiple choice because I never read the textbook... oops. Easy to get good grade if you try.

Amazing and highly knowledgable. Everything is presented so clearly and captivating, with great visual presentation. Naila's always available outside the class, regularly sends e-mails to students with all necessary information and reminders, which is so fantastic, as you don't have to worry missing something. Highly recommend.

BCAP seems like such a boring course but Naila makes it so fun. Shes very loud and ALIVE in class and you will NOT fall asleep. How can any other professor can teach this course better than she can!? Naila makes BCAP such an interesting class! If you have the opportunity TAKE HER CLASS! She explains everything so well, and is funny about it. On the first day of class she says herself that anyone minimally capable can get an easy A on the subject. Lectures are super important though, make sure not to deviate attention for 1 second or you're done. Will deduct marks if you constantly show up late and disrupt the class. Just a really nice prof, super sweet

I really enjoyed taking my intro BCAP with Naila. Shes not a computer whiz by any means, and if youre on a Mac youre somewhat on your own, but she knows enough about computers and the course material to teach this course. She was very talkative, understanding and courteous during classes.

Naila is a very fun teacher and would reach out if you've fallen off your homework submission routine. She provides video instructions on the questions most students are confused about. Best prof- super funny and easygoing. But there're ton of assignments, like 6 projects per week, and 4 exams. don't take BCAP if you're busy(not Naila's fault as BCAP course is heavy itself)

The best professor I have ever had in Langara! Very energetic, caring, and always answer email fast. I asked her question through email about the SIMnet homework and she gave me a video showing how to do the questions step by step. I was worried to take BCAP because I'm bad at computers, but Naila is a great instructor. 100% recommended!

Excellent professor. Be mindful to complete the online assignments, they constitute over 40% of final grade. Very nice and easy to talk to, would 10/10 take the class again if she teaches other course.

This course was an easy A. Naila is prompt with feedback and very available to help. Instructions are very clear usually. The only reason I haven't given her a 5 is because feedback can sometimes be slightly condescending and I felt the final exam did not have enough time or clear enough instruction.

Highly recommend to take class with Naila. Most interesting online lecture I've seen in any class. Makes individual video with feedback about assignment. Takes time to explain what you do wrong and how to fix mistake. Always available for Zoom meeting even at night. Cares very much about the students. I wish she would teach other classes.

Super instructor and excellent online course! Naila's online lectures are the best online classes I have ever taken. I did an online undergrad degree before coming to Langara so I have a lot of experience as a student in online classes. She has a lot of energy and her method of teaching is interesting. I was motivated to learn!

I never had so much fun doing an assignment. It's odd thing to say but is true. The PowerPoint Jinxy assignment Naila give us was interesting and so so so funny! I had a good time while learning lots. She is most creative instructor. I hope she teach more class. I would for sure take.
