She is a good teacher. Her classes were interesting, her tests are demanding.

Go to class everyday and you'll have no problems. Professor is entertaining, and only covers what will be on the test.

Dr. Brown is the best teacher I have had in my life. She brings excitment to the classroom. I found myself eager to go to class and learn more about this subject. She explains very well. She wants you to know more than a definition to a word. I truely loved this class and look forward to more.

I had her for a 7AM class. If I had a different professor,I would have probably stopped showing up to class in the second week. But she kept it fun and exciting which motivated me to show up every morning at 7AM. I learned a lot in her class.

Dr. Brown is an awesome teacher! I took her class two years ago and still remember some of the Marriage and Family theories. If you want an A take her. I got a C+ in the class because I wasn't as disciplined as I should have been. Honestly, thinking about taking it again; It was just that good.

EASY CLASS. Just remember to do the study guide and you'll make an A on the tests. Some days we even took notes outside! Dr. Brown never took attendance, so you don't worry about that.

Dr. Brown is the best teacher I've had in 2 years of going to Santa Fe! She is bright, energetic, and FUNNY as they come. She always has stories to relate to the material and is very open about her life and how she came to know and understand the material she teaches us. If your not a mourning person then dont take her class in the mourning because she is quite loud and enthusiastic at 8 in the mourning. If too much enthusiasm is a teachers only problem then you know this is a great teacher.

There are 6 short papers, but very very easy, will drop the lowest grade out of the 6 too. You would be a fool not to take her!

Took her for Social Problems and got an A. Easy to do well if you just do all of the assigned work to her specifications. I didn't care too much about the class and took it at 8AM. I missed class quite a bit, but just read the book to make up for it and did fine, cus attendance isn't required. If you miss class, get the notes from someone else too.

Best teacher at SFC I took mf, now soc next social prob. All test ?s are given on day 1 /book is only needed to do the study guides. She doesn't check attendance but 90% of the test and study guide questions come directly from her class lectures so either go to class or make friends with someone who does because you will need the notes to pass.

Great teacher, loud, definitely will grasp your attention. She does not accept anything late, so do be wary if you slack on deadlines. Teaches everything on from study sheets she gives you that are based on the tests she gives. Overall definite take, I didn't even have to buy the book from this class.

Ms. Brown is a great teacher. She gives you a review sheet for every test that if you study, you'll ace it. The test are in scenario format and about 50 questions. Every once in a while she will assign a 1 page paper where you have to apply five terms...very easy. In addition there are 10 1 page papers due near the end of the semester. I have an A+

Makes learning fun and is LOUD (esp if you take her in the morning). You can pass if you just read the textbook, but it's better if you go to class. Does good reviews before tests. Relaxed teaching style and knows what she's doing. Very open to help. Only assignments are papers using vocab. I definitely recommend her. :)

This is one of the best teachers I have had so far. She is very clear and tells you exactly what she wants. This Class is fairly easy but heed this with caution. The tests are easy to fail if you are not fully prepared. She expects you to read the book too. She will tell you were to look for the answers on her study guide, if you ask.

i had this teacher for honors intro sociology and she is the best teacher ive ever had, shes hillarious, loud and keeps you alert throughout the class. youd never wanna miss a class and even if you did, no biggie! we never really used the book, and tests were really easy! i love her and id take any of her clases again!!

Social Problems is a very interesting class. Dr. Brown makes the class 10 times better! She's very loud, but that adds to the fun and makes things interesting. There is never a dull class, and she always has you laughing. She uses personal stories for examples, which really makes you feel connected. Great class, I highly recommend it! :D

She is a great teacher! Make sure you take notes for all her lectures and any videos you watch because that's what the tests are based from and save any handouts she gives out. The tests are TAKE HOME, but I had to work hard and write a lot (20 pg paper) to get an A in this class. Keep in mind, I took honors.

Dr. Brown is a nice person, however she seems to think ear-splitting LOUDNESS is the only way to convey information. When she DOES speak normally, it's clear and concise. She gets moody and takes it out on certain people. I enjoyed the class, but didn't feel like I learned all that much. She's a harsh grader so work hard at exams!

This professor is AMAZING. Her class consist of 4 exams that are super easy and she will tell you so herself.She also requires to write short essays usually 3-5 paragraphs, but they are super simple. The only way you will fail is if you dont come to class bcuz the test are note based, but she is crystal clear about what you you should know.

Dr Brown is fun and funny...also passionate about the subject matter. She is probably hands down one of the best teachers I have had. Not necessarily easy...you have to use your brain...but notes are easy to take because she repeats EVERYTHING you need to write (or type). I highly recommend taking this teacher!

its a very fun class,i like how she involves the students in how they feel about some situations;however, her test are confusing being that they are scenario base questions its makes it hard to understand!

She spoke really loud for everyone to hear what she is saying to write down for notes. I always had a laugh in EACH class!! Going to class is importnant, because you have to get the notes. Some of the stuff she tells us and the rest you get from the textbook. We had 6 EASY essays to do. This class was extremely fun and interesting!!

Dr. Brown is amazing! I loved her class and loved her. She knows what she is talking about and only give 4 tests but the lecture notes are on the tests. She's a little intimidating at first because she's very loud, but she's just enthusiastic about what she does and she tries to help everyone understand the material. This class is a blast. She teaches with enthusiasm and makes you want to know more by the end of class. I loved just going to class and listening to the lectures. Make sure you take notes! 70% of the material is from notes, the rest from book.

Great professor who made class interesting and got students involved. Easy A if you study and attend lectures. She is vocal. This was the only class I ever got personally yelled at by a teacher in for turning in an assignment wrong. Still 5* teacher!

Naima Brown is one of two influential instructors I have had in my life. I highly recommend this course with her at the helm. The exams were straight out of the book, but more importantly the class was fun and she made you want to participate. I can't say enough great things about her! She truly is one of a kind!
