Good teacher, although a bit disorganized. It's an easy class, guaranteed A. I strongly recommend taking her; I would take her again if I could. Gives some essays and in-class activities. Very flexible with due dates. The essays are free subject and min 3 paragraphs. She likes it when you participate. No textbook needed.

Her class was super easy and she answers everything that you ask her and explains to you everything that was wrong in your paper in a sweet way instead of giving you attitude or look bored, even if you are the 10th person to ask her the same question. I wouldn't take her again but only because she explains too much and I like fast paced classes

Mrs. Dahan is the nicest professor I've ever had. This is my second semester with her & she really shows how much she cares for her students. The class is not hard at all. There's no test, the only homework she gives are a few essays & the final which is most likely going to be a 5-page research. That's it, I highly recommend her. She is the best!

If you are competent with writing, you will enjoy this class. The class I took consisted mostly of writing assignments based off of media we looked at during the lecture, media which is public domain and available online. When I missed classes could just do it at home and read the teacher's emails.

Great teacher. Great lectures. Easy if you go and do your work you will not have any problems. No midterm or final. Writing assignments and a final research. Take her you won't have any problems if you do what she ask. Attendance mandatory.

Professor Dahan is well prepared for class. She wants us to learn the topics. The explanations are easy to follow. At the end of class your will have a review of the topics. If you arrive early you can ask questions about the class. If you participate in class she noticed that. I recommend to take the course.

Few assignments to be turned in one research paper which is very easy to do , just show up to class and turn in mini assignments due after going over the reading you do in class and then you can leave . Very easy to pass

This class was a breeze, just show up to class and participate and turn in all your papers, doesn't matter when as long as she receives them and you will pass. She is very understanding and caring, also makes you laugh :)

She is a funny and nice person sometimes you cant understand her because of her accent but its manageable. I took her class Mon Wed Fri but every Friday was a research day so you didnt have to go to class. Her class is really easy just to the assignments. Attendance is mandatory.

I took enc1102, good teacher, good lectures. Do all the assignments in the syllabus. You have to write small essay every time you go to her class about what she just discussed. Also there are 5 essay in the entire semester and a presentation for your grade. You do all that you get an A. No stress. Attendance was mandatory before coronavirus.

Dr. Dahan is very kind and caring. Most of the papers are very short and fairly easy topics to write about. Her class should not be a strain. She is very chill and patient. Definitely recommend her!

Attendance is counted when you turn in your assignments, basically saying you don't have to attend class as long as you submit your work. We had weekly discussion questions, although sometimes she would forget to post it. We also had 6 assignments for the whole term, 5 of which are simple essays and the last one is a PowerPoint. No due dates.

I am a student at St. Thomas University and I had her this fall. Amazing teacher! Very easy to understand not only the learning material, and also very clear on what she wants out of the classwork and homework as well. Makes sure we are set up for success, not only in her class, but in the future as well!

She is an amazing professor . Definitely if you don't pass her class it's because you don't want to. Assignments you have the whole semester to do and you even have the opportunity to resubmit them. You have to be willing to read in all classes. Attendance is not a requirement, I even took this teacher back for my ENC1102 class.

I took enc 1101 and 1102 during covid. Professor is very nice. She does not take away points if you turn in your essays late, as long as you turn them in before the end of the term. No midterm or finals. Research paper is your final. I do recommend this professor

Her course was an amazing experience.

OMG she is amazing so happy I took her for two semesters. She put together these terrific lesson plans that give a great background education of the topic. Seeing a video of the author reading the assigned book or poem it makes it so much more enjoyable. She truly cares about her student and wants them to do well, which makes her a one of a kind

I took professor Dahan for ENC1101 online, class was super easy, no quizzes, test, but there discussion assignments and a research paper which is worth a lot!! Passed this class with flying colors easy A!!

Lots of opportunities to submit late work. she does make you read off the board sometimes but it's not that bad, her lectures are as long as the class can be but not a minute later.

I loveeeed Dr. Dahan! She was my favorite english professor ever. She gave us very informative lectures and engaged a lot with the students. She gave us plenty of time to complete our assignments. Her feedback to the assignments were amazing, and if you do not do really good in the assignments, she lets you re-submit them. Loved her and her class!

Pretty chill class. Dr. Dahan was kind and very approachable imo. Only con for me was that for some of the assignments she would take several points off over small things (the paragraphs weren't indented, the essay didn't have a title, etc.). No tests either.

One of my favorite classes I've taken! Professor Dahan is incredibly nice and always brings such positive energy. The class is super easy to pass, and none of the assignments are hard at all. You get plenty of time to complete everything, and there are NO TESTS OR QUIZZES. The class was also very engaging, which made it even better.
